She finds it difficult to open up to anybody, because showing vulnerability means showing how to hurt her. And she feels like she’s been hurt enough. And if someone manages to hurt her anyway, she will exact revenge.
Deep down, she wants someone to help her. She would never admit it out loud, but she wants a friend. It’s just a shame that she keeps herself so closed off. Personal History: Sylvia was born to an American father and a Japanese mother. Her father was a businessman that was only in the country for a job and accidentally found himself having a family. When his contract had run up, while Sylvia was around 4, he just left with minimal word to his “wife.” This caused her mother to resent Sylvia, thinking that this child was responsible somehow for driving her love away. This led to Sylvia being neglected, and oftentimes beaten for even minor infractions. What was the point in doing anything the correct way, if she was going to get hurt regardless?
After years of this, Sylvia had enough and simply… left. She set out into the world on her own, moving from shelter to shelter wherever she could find it, and learning to steal as she needed to. She joined a gang of delinquents that made her feel like she found a place to belong, even developing feelings for the leader. She tried to make herself useful, learning to fight, learning to improve her thievery, even taking the initiative on various “minor” matters. But apparently, she did too well. The leader felt threatened by her… and so he set her up. He fed her a rumor that a rival gang was holed up in a warehouse nearby, and she set out to deal with the problem. It was, frankly, a trap. She recovered, though her back still bears the scars. Though, a mysterious benefactor had covered her medical bills.

Personality: Arata is a more happy sort of individual compared to his partner. He loves to talk and is generally full of energy. He is loyal to Sylvia and will generally do as she asks, even if he disagrees, but he will extend mercy or otherwise undermine orders that cause harm he deems unnecessary. He is very concerned for Sylvia and tries his best to help her make good decisions, or even open up a little either to him or to other people. Sometimes Arata thinks that the only reason Sylvia tolerates him is because he’s cute.
The bee Digimon has a real sweet tooth and makes a habit of trying to keep sugary snacks, usually some kind of drink, on hand. In fact, he is easily bribed with the promise of such things. Fountain Brew, especially the Limewire flavor, is his favorite. Could it be called an addiction? Who knows.

Abilities: Flight [Non-Combat Passive] - Flybeemon can, predictably, fly like a bee, but at much faster speeds comparable to vehicles.
Lightning Stinger - He fires lightning at the enemy from his stinger. Pretty simple. [Cooldown - 2 turns]
Needle Stinger - He fires his stinger at the enemy to stab them directly instead. [Cooldown - 1 turn]
Poison Stinger - He stabs the opponent with his stinger to inject them with a poison that prevents Named Move usage for a turn. [Cooldown - 3 turns]
Wasp Shank - He shanks the enemy repeatedly with his stinger, reducing their defense by 20% for 1 turn. [Cooldown - 2 turns]
Buzzy Bee - He emits an ultrasonic sound that causes double vision in up to two targets, reducing their accuracy by 30% for two turns. Digimon of higher level are immune to this effect. [Cooldown - 3 turns]
Ultrasonic Strikes - He punches at the enemy repeatedly in one spot to really make it hurt. [Cooldown - 1 turn]

Fighting Style: Stay in one place, spray the area with missiles, lasers, and railgun shots. He’s a living artillery platform.
Abilities: Hovering Flight [Non-Combat Passive] - Cannonbeemon can fly and hover in the air without issue. A cockpit also sits behind its head to allow for up to 4 passengers, providing oxygen and protection from pressure (or lack thereof).
Gigantic Size [Non-Combat Passive] - Cannonbeemon is massive. Huge. Without sufficient space when he evolves, he will attempt to break any structure or terrain in an effort to make enough space for him to exist. If a structure cannot be destroyed in this manner, the evolution fails and he reverts back to FanBeemon.
Artillery Platform [Combat Passive] - Arata’s speed is cut by 25%, but his Attack is boosted by 50%. He may choose to sacrifice this bonus and remove the speed penalty at any time. If he has not moved for 2 turns, the bonus and penalty return. The speed penalty stacks with Heavy Armor.
Heavy Armor [Combat Passive] - Arata's speed is cut by 25%, but his Defense is boosted by 50%. He may choose to sacrifice this bonus and remove the speed penalty at any time. If he has not moved for 2 turns, the bonus and penalty return. The speed penalty stacks with Artillery Platform.
Sentry Array [Combat Passive] - Cannonbeemon can detect motion and heat signatures in a 10 km radius around itself. It can direct attacks at specific signatures, but cannot differentiate between friends or foes without having visually seen a specific target in range.
If this ability is shut down (or jammed by another Digimon's ability), any attacks that rely on “detection range” instead are limited to visual range.
Sky Rocket Barrage - The pods on his back open up and fire smaller missiles in any direction, causing up to 5 10m explosions within detection range. [Cooldown - 2 turns]
Sky Rocket Infinity - The pods on his back open up and he fires a bunch of missiles out in any direction, causing up to ten 25m explosions within detection range. [Cooldown - 4 turns]
Gauss Cannon - He aims his railgun and fires a high-powered magnetic shot that pierces through defenses, and then explodes in a 50m radius. The initial target does not take explosion damage. The target may be within detection range, shooting through buildings and (reasonable) terrain. [Cooldown - 5 turns]
Rapid Laser Barrage - He angles the railgun and fires a series of laser blasts at up to two targets. [Cooldown - 1 turn]
RAM Upgrade 1: Micro Missile Barrage - He shoots micro missiles out from under his railgun that go after up to two targets. [Cooldown - 1 turn]
RAM Upgrade 2: Electromagnetic Disintegrator - He charges up and fires off an EMP pulse in a 500 meter radius that fries all non-Digital World electronics, and damages Digimon by messing with their data structure. Arata’s speed drops to 0% for 3 turns after this attack is used. [Once Per Thread]
