Always optimistic - that was a quality that she appreciated greatly about her dearly beloved, especially since said optimism remained grounded in reality. Moreover, she was likely correct. Events would presumably transpire better if Cion did not focus on the endeavor the whole time. For the best results, she probably had to live life as normal as possible, though of course with reduced stress and strain on her body and mind. They had more than sufficient affluence to bridge the gap, and the opportunity of learning new things free of other obligations was admittedly exciting.
Fortunately, as they bid their farewell, it merely required a single step for them to return home. Teleportation truly was a gift that kept on giving, not unlike the comely felidae. Taking in a deep breath, the silver fennec tried to immediately distract herself from the sensation of wintered steel near her hip. But what to do during all of this recreation? Turning to face her sweetheart with a sincere if slightly forced smile, she noted how lost in thought she was. Lovingly caressing her shoulder with her soft paws, the unassuming fox nudged her gently with a bit of vim. "No pressure. We are under no deadline, right?"
Naturally, this was a rhetorical question, but a crucial one. As important as this undertaking was to the both of them, they had to remember that this was solely about them; and nothing and nobody else. This was alone theirs to envisage and execute - together with Mikemon's support - which hopefully served to ease any present and future concerns. Speaking of which, as she so often did, the onyx feline was, unsurprisingly so, quite aware of other pangs that haunted them. A ring, as powerful as it was, would not prevent them to savor a hearty, opulent meal.
"Don't be stingy with the gravy!" Cion teased her darling with a toothy chuckle. Unfortunately, this little jest caused involuntary movement in her frame, which accentuated the numb pain the artifact imposed. It was only for the briefest of moments, but it was enough for the vulpine lady to flinch and groan silently. Calming herself, she nodded in agreement and carefully sat down on the purple couch in their spacious living room. She did not experience comfort doing this, but at least the discomfort was less.
She knew that the process was bound to be long and certainly arduous... but even if it took her millennia, it was worth becoming truly whole and complete.
