Sylvia rests underneath the awning of a flower shop somewhere in the west side of Shibuya. She is just sitting on the sidewalk, back resting against the fence that protects the flowers from losing all their dirt. As she keeps her eyes closed, she is aware of multiple footsteps approaching her… And they stop right in front of her. Without opening her eyes, she addresses them. “...What now?”
“...What do you mean ‘what now’? You’re on our turf again. We told you to get lost.” A female voice says, with all the snottiness that entails.
“And I like the flowers at this shop. Not my fault you decided to not take advantage.” She responds coldly, cracking her neck before she looks up at the two guys and a gal who stand over her. She slowly gets up onto her feet, removing her hands from her pockets to crack her knuckles.
“What do you think you’re going to do? There’s three of us and only one of you.” One of the guys says with a laugh.
“I’m going to kick your ass. Hard. I’m not here to take your territory, I just like this shop. And if the only way I’m going to peacefully enjoy my time around here is by dragging you up and down the concrete by your teeth, then I’m going to do it.” Sylvia says coldly, as she shifts her foot back and gets ready to dive into a fighting stance proper.
The boys in front of her start laughing, while the girl raises her hand. “...Take her on then. Simple honor rules: No killing anyone, loser leaves. Got it?” The boys and Sylvia look to each other and nod. Honor rules it was then.
“Gotta say there, queen bee, I’m rather impressed you’re willing to invoke honor.”
“There’s no point wasting someone as cocky as you.”
“I appreciate that. I’ll make sure not to break too many of your toys.” Sylvia smirks, and ducks under the first swing. She jabs a fist into the guy’s ribs before scooting under the arm and kicking at the second one, but her kick is deflected. The one she rib-punched then spins around and manages to deck her in the face, causing her to fall to the ground. Sylvia rolls back though, using her momentum to spring back onto her feet, arms raised to guard herself once more.
The rib-punched one, hereby dubbed Blue, then rushes forward with a flurry of blows, which Sylvia closes up her guard to defend against, taking the hits to her forearms instead. While Blue is attacking her, she suddenly jams her foot between his feet and sweeps him down, clonking his skull on the sidewalk and leaving him stunned. She steps over his body to face down Red, the other boy. With a grin, she engages, stepping forward and doing a roundhouse kick into his torso, which Red blocks with his arms with a grunt of pain. He then takes the opportunity to try and kick her anchored leg, but she hops to the side to avoid the kick while she spins back around to hit him again. Only then does her leg drop and return her to two feet firmly on the ground.
It was at that moment though, that Blue comes up behind her and grabs her around the chest, pinning her arms! “Oh, joy. Thought you’d be down a bit longer than that!” She hisses, to which Blue just responds with a chuckle. Red moves to hit her in the face, but she swings her feet up to double deck him in the chest before using gravity to aid her. As her feet fall, she pulls her torso forward, and flips Blue up and over herself to land on the concrete in front of her. There’s a crack or two, and Blue gasps as his eyes widen. He’s definitely tapped out this time.
Red, recovering from his stumble, glares at her. He then charges once more, yelling like some kind of barbarian with his fist raised. He swings… And Sylvia just turns her head to the side to avoid it before stepping forward and headbutting him right in the face. Red’s eyes cross and he drops to the ground like a sack of potatoes. A small trickle of blood runs down her forehead, right alongside her nose, as she finally relaxes enough that her panting becomes more obvious. She then looks at ‘queen bee’ and smirks.
“Think they’ve had enough? Or are you wanting to take a shot?” She asks, rolling her head around her shoulders to crack her neck… and keep the blood flow from going into her eye. Bee giggles and shakes her head.
“...No, no, I think you’ve earned your spot. But you’re only allowed to be by the flower shop then, since you were SOOO insistent on it.” She says as she walks up to the boys and grabs them by the backs of their shirts, lifting them up onto their feet. The two are clearly stunned, dazed, or recovering from their breath being stolen from them by hitting the ground as hard as they did. “...But if you get any further than your little flower shop here, you’ll have to contend with us again, ne?”
“If the next time is just as easy as this one was, then I might just do that. Maybe carve myself a little niche here, declare myself queen bee instead. After all, I have flowers here.” Sylvia says with a smirk as she reaches into her bag for a napkin she stole from some outdoor dispenser and starts cleaning up her face.
That just leaves the ‘bee’ over there to drag her boys home with her, while Sylvia sits back down in front of the flowers… Regaining her breath slowly. “...You’re just lucky I didn’t feel like going much harder… Maybe I should just take your turf. Those two lugnuts aren’t enough to hold it for long.” She giggles quietly to herself, and just sets to wait for the bleeding to stop.
