The Demon Within(Spirit Hunt)(OPEN)(COMPLETE)

As she closed her eyes and was about to become totally relaxed her digimon instincts began poking into her mind warning her she was not alone. The faint rustle of leaves confirmed this causing her brown eyes to slide open as she looked around just in time to spot the faint movement of someone, human or digimon she wasn't sure, but she wasn't foolish enough to take unnecessary chances.

Bringing out her Hardlight Baton from within her D-Tector she slowly rose to her feet holding it in front of her in a defensive posture staring warily at the flora concealing the stranger from her view. Her petite frame was tense readying herself for trouble as she made sure she didn't look vulnerable for in the Digital World it meant she might be easy to pick off. Her posture was definitely that of an alpha female despite her small frame. "Alright. I don't know who you are but just so you know I will defend myself if I need to so either show yourself or move on. I am far from the vulnerable fragile human I appear to be." she snarled glaring at the bushes the holy aura she still was not aware of beginning to surround her body.

As the stranger revealed himself she seemed to size him up as if at some level analyzing how much of a threat he posed to her. He was as tall as her but given she was a skinny stick insect of a human he was definitely heavier. However even if he were a giant she had a bad habit of not knowing when to back down. She had her own stubbornness to thank for that.

"Feral Tribes? Never heard of 'em. Who are they?" Stacy asked still holding tightly onto her Hardlight Baton, just in case of course, "I was out in this sweltering pit called a jungle looking for a digimon called Gorillamon but haven't seen such a digimon. All I heard was it was reeking havoc but I've been out here most of the day so unless this digimon is really small or invisible I haven't had the best of luck so I decided to stop to take a break since I am not as young as I look." Sure she looked at most twenty five but no one but her family believed her when she mentioned her true age so it rarely came up in casual conversations.

Little did the humans know was Gorillamon was indeed out there but it was not close enough to be detected. Yet the white ape was indeed coming their way but at a slow and methodical pace it seemed. Was it trying to avoid detection or was it just a slow moving digimon in general. Only time would tell.

When asked if the town was called Rosewood, Stacy shook her head before she said "No. The town was much to small to be Rosewood but I wouldn't be surprised if the town was at least a few miles away but I don't remember the name of the town. Sorry. However maybe I'll check out the Gigabite cafe next time I'm out this way."

"I like the plan and it would work better if this particular Gorillamon is an idiot." Stacy said as she made her way to also take advantage of the shade but before she could so much as think of sitting heavy footsteps were heard as if whomever was coming was making no effort to hide they were coming. Then a large white gorilla burst out of the bush landing in the pond the water only coming up to the white ape's waist. Stacy noticed on one of Gorrilamon's arms was what appeared to be a cannon. Well dandy that might complicate things if they weren't careful. Then Gorillamon leapt out of the water landing near Stacy and Hans water from his wet fur splashing out toward the humans.

Stacy wordlessly moved infront of Hans in a protective stance and her left hand reached out toward her D-Tector. Gorillamon noticed this and, with surprising speed, reached out with his big meaty hand snatching Stacy off the ground his hand wrapping around the petite woman's throat. Then he excuted a shocking maneuver as he lobbed her one hundred thirty pound frame as casually as an Olympic athlete would lob that shot put skyward and well out of sight. Then Gorillamon turned to look at Hans with a glance that said I'll deal with you later before dashing into the jungle as if to check if the human he tossed was finished or as good as such so he could put her out of her misery.

Meanwhile with Stacy, she was reaching a larger clearing perhaps a good mile or two away from the small one at most but it was hard to tell seeing how fast she was hucked through the air so it may be closer since their was a faint hint of where she came from still in her line of vision as she looked back briefly. Then as gravity started to pull her toward the ground she looked around for a solution to her problem or she was as good as a smear as she would surely reach terminal velocity from as high up as she was. That and the fact that humans flew like bricks once the inertia wore off.

Soon her hope appeared in the form of a small but thick tree so she brought out her D-Tector as fractal coding appeared around her right hand before she ran it over the top of the D-Tector in her left hand. "Execute! Sprite spirit evolution!" A warm holy light enveloped her as a wolf howl sounded and when the howling ceased and the light dispersed what looked like a white six month old wolf cub was in her place as she said "Hinookamimon!"

Her tail then transformed into prayer beads as she said "Sacred Beads!" She then lashed her transformed tail out hooking onto the branch of the tree and she swung until she was dangling from the branch by the curiously prehensile limb before she closed her eyes and let out a sigh relieved to be alive.

Stacy saved her bacon after Gorillamon yeets her by using her Sacred Beads to hook a tree and it now hanging from the branch.
Sacred Beads: Her tail transforms into prayer beads crackling with holy energy. She whips her tail out to strike out at her opponents.

Hinookamimon opened her brown eyes before lowering herself slowly to the ground before releasing the grip on the tree branch with her prehensile prayer bead tail before it returned to its original length and transformed back into its normal frizzy wolf tail. It was then it seemed the cause of her impromptu flight came thundering into sight seeing that somehow his victim was no where to be seen and a fluffy white rookie digimon was the only thing he could see.

She smirked at the white ape's befuddlement as it she could practically see the gears turning in the effort to process everything. Damn he must of been a bit dumber than she initially thought at least when it came to knowledge that didn't involve fighting and throwing people which was making her annoyed so she decided to help him out a little. "You're in big trouble hairball. I guess you are too stupid to put together that the human woman you unceremoniously offered a flying lesson to is a spirit wielder."

Then it clicked before Gorillamon glared angrily at the human in ancient digimon form and aimed his cannon at her charging it up. 'Really this clod has to be kidding.' she thought with a roll of her eyes as she was ready to move out of the way when a sight caught both her and Gorillamon's attention. Hers was out of the corner of her eye so she had to turn her head to see what Gorillamon was staring at while his cannon was charging. It was the tree she used to save herself. In her stressed state she had charged her tail with holy energy yes but it had an effect on the tree she would of never expected as it was turning black as shadows before beginning to crack.

While cracks were still forming along the transformed tree Hans and Kitsune had caught up.Their timing was good as just as Gorillamon's cannon was finished charging Kitsune launched her Smoke Bomb attack into the face of the white ape. Hinookamimon scrambled back so the smoke didn't mess with her sensitive nose. As for Gorillamon, he roared angrily swiping his big meaty hand in a futile effort to clear the smoke which made the oaf decide to resort to the most stupid thing most would think of. Lifting his cannon arm he pointed it roughly in the direction of where he knew one of his opponents were or, in his case, no longer were though Hinookamimon was still not far from the tree. It was as if it was curiously reacting to her specifically. She didn't know why but her instincts felt something special about it.

Then Gorillamon opened fire not hitting any digimon or human only hitting the transformed tree the darkened wood splintering into pieces and flying out like a small explosion. What remained was what truly caught Hinookamimon's attention though as a familiar column of blue light appeared and what looked like a black monkey statue with wings was now visible. Could this be the dark spirit she sought after? Shaking her head, Hinookamimon dedigivolved and made a mad dash for the totem while Gorillamon was otherwise temporarily blinded. Bringing out her D-Tector once she was in the column she drew the totem within it.

"Time to see what this new form can do." Stacy said as fractal coding appeared around her right hand before she ran it over her digivice. "Execute! Human Spirit Evolution!" Her body then became enveloped by shadow as her form became more compact shrinking into a shadowy two foot tall shape before dark demon wings extended from the shadow form. She was feeling a sense of mischief though not malicious in nature it was as if this form was more prone to it then the others. Holding in her laughter as glowing red eyes were now also visible in the mass she felt as if she couldn't help herself. She probably had Zack to thank for this impulse but ignored it as it sounded fun but harmless enough. It was show time. "Gone. Gone. The form of man." she said with a tone that sounded slightly playful and amused before she, in a more serious tone, finished. "Rise the demon, Sarumon!"

The shadows then dissipated revealing a two foot tall black anthropomorphic demon spider monkey with glowing red eyes, short red claws on her hands but not feet, and a curious piece of metal on the end of her tail. With a mischievous smirk the small monkey said "Ready for round two when our friend here is."
