It was a fairly strange situation for Mana to journey anywhere without her sister close by. Yet, this was the case by the time being; Nami was hard at work with what she deemed as what would be her first creation of this life—or, as she liked to call them, ‘masterpiece’. A task no doubt performed more effectively in solitude, the older Meicoomon’s journey served two purposes; one was, obviously, to provide her sister with the necessary space so she could work in peace, wherever she was.
The second? The second was the very reason why Luminas had been the destination of her travel this time around. In normal circumstances, Mana would approach cities with extreme apprehension, but she didn’t really have a lot of decisions when it came to the last component Nami had asked. Because, while in truth, the pair had harvested a fair amount of high quality data from the various opponents they had defeated on their forays into this world, they couldn’t exactly call any of those a pleasant companion. In short? They were missing a personality. Her odds here were good enough, right? She hadn’t ever visited a city high up in the sky, but common sense told her that at least there should be one nice individual in this place.
Or, at least that was the initial plan. Considering how lengthy Nami’s task could be, it would probably be fine if she just relaxed for a bit and admired the pleasant panorama around one of the many plazas in the Avalon Fields. Mana knew next to nothing about this city, but she could definitely appreciate a well-planned layout and a solid grasp on functional architecture. At least for the time being, the cat was more than happy admiring a sight that she had never seen before.

Heaven.
Heaven was a place you usually describe as something after the end. A place visited after one's end that was not only the abode of the one above all and his host, but also the destination of those who did good in life.
This was what Gihai was told. Gihai was not told the truth, of course. Heaven was above the clouds, and heaven was full of angels, to be sure...
Heaven was above the clouds and a rather pretty sight to behold, yet...to Gihai, it lacked so much. The fields were a nice place to start, at least, especially after a wayward portal took her here. She was beginning to wonder if taking those to the various places she had been to was a terrible plan given she had a party to look after now...Yet, it was not as if she couldn't go back, right?
The emerald Guilmon padded 'round the plaza, and noted a familiar...presence, of sorts. She ambled on towards Mana, and rather than make a loud greeting? Simply offered for a simple one.
"Oh! Mana-chan, it's nice to run into you here! ...What brings you up here?" Gihai seemed a little pensive, and a little somber. Yet, she didn't want that to spill on over to one of her fellow adventurers.
That wasn't what Gihai does, after all.

On the back of a twenty foot tall white holy dragon digimon an eighteen year old tamer had his arms holding a solid grip around his partner's neck but not suffocating in any way. "Look, Yoshihiro, that must be the Avalon Fields." Ryuji said pointing at the location that had just entered sight of the pair and, after flying for hours, Ryuji was all to eager to get down and walk for awhile as his butt was getting numb.
As they got closer Yoshihiro whistled appreciatively at the beautiful sight of the paradise below them before the holy dragon said "Looks like it and it is prettier than the pictures my dad showed me when I was a baby. Hold on, Ryuji, I'm heading in for a landing." Ryuji nodded and re-established his grip as Yoshihiro flapped his wings as slowly he made his way down to land touching down surprisingly softly for his large size before laying down allowing Ryuji to climb off his back. As soon as his tamer was safely on the ground he began to dedigivolve to his in training form of Calumon before he floated over to Ryuji's shoulder laying across it like always when traveling on the ground.
Soon the pair spotted some digimon not far ahead two of them likely being twins but one could never know for sure. As for the other it was an emerald green Guilmon which was an interesting color scheme for the species indeed. Deciding to be friendly, Ryuji waved before he said "Hello over there." He hoped these digimon were friendly as dealing with three unfriendly ones would not work in their favor regardless of Yoshihiro's martial arts training. Yoshihiro, despite his relaxed posture, was more than ready for action just the same.

Mana’s reverie would promptly be interrupted, even though by no other than a relative acquaintance of her—it was none other than Gihai, the weirdly-colored Guilmon. Sure, she didn’t mind her company; the digimon seemed to be pleasant enough, had a cheerful disposition, and liked Mana’s food. Those were good enough qualities, at least for the time being. Slowly, the cat rose up from her place and placed a paw on top of the Guilmon’s snout, patting it gently. “Gihai-chan! That’s a face I didn’t expect to see in this place.” Didn’t Luminas have some unresolved issues with virus-types, or something of the like? Maybe that had been solved at some point between Mana’s previous life and this one. Least to say, the cat was positively beaming at having some company on what otherwise would’ve been a pretty lonely quest. Well, if Gihai was up to collaborating, that is. After the greeting, she sat once again. “You don’t look super well! Is anything the matter? Don’t worry, heroines know how to keep secrets!” She wouldn’t push the issue more than that, though. It depended on her whether she wanted to talk about her problems or not. Regarding hers, though? The cat produced a small sheet of paper from… somewhere in her fur, then began reading it on Nami’s usual monotone. “List. I’m searching for a digimon with… a high degree of alertness, a natural inclination to please others, and a mature, yet pleasant personality.” It was honestly scary how well the cat could imitate her sister! Or, maybe it wasn’t? “Do you know any? It’d make this whole deal a lot easier!” Only then, a pair of newcomers made their presence known. Mana smiled at them earnestly before speaking. “Hello, travelers! What brings you to Luminas? It’s been a while since the last time I’ve seen a human. Your kind is a bit of a rarity, honestly!” She had opted to introduce herself first, but somehow felt like it was probably on the newcomers to do that one first.

There was something that was weirdly...soothing about how Mana had greeted Gihai, even if it was so simple as a gentle pat on the snout. Gihai simply lifted her claw to offer a similar pat to the Meicoomon's head, if allowed.
"Likewise! ...I'll admit, I wasn't expecting to run into you here either--and alone no less." A pause. "...And honestly, I'm fine. Just...a bit disappointed at what I'm seeing here. This place was touted up to be so much and it's just...unnervingly bright. Not much else to it for a place called Heaven."
It was less problems and more disappointment brought on by believing too many tall tales. The Digimon that Nami seemed to have been searching for too was...well, that could deadass just be anyone! "I don't, sadly...but if you need help finding one, I'd be willing!" Heroines help each other, after all.
Then, she turned to the two travelers. And simply waved! She hadn't seen a Calumon before, truth be told, and...yeah, she didn't have much to comment on here. She simply stared at the two. "Yeah, travelers up here are a bit of a rarity considering what Luminas used to be..."

Tamer and partner watched the interaction between the three digimon with Yoshihiro hearing everything with his excellent hearing. They seemed friendly enough and even greeted them after Ryuji called out to them. "Well I brought the two of us here since my partner can't exactly digivolve." Yoshihiro said with a playful giggle as he floated of his tamer's shoulder approaching the others.
Ryuji scratched the back of his head as he said "The reason we're here in the first place is mostly curiosity to be honest since neither of us have been here before but how did you three get here? Do you have forms that can fly like my partner Yoshihiro or did you catch a ride with someone?"
When Mana mentioned it was a while since she saw a human Yoshihiro saw the mischievous smirk appear on the little Calumon he called a partner and groaned as Yoshihiro said "Yeah humans like Ryuji aren't always a common sight here in the Digital World but I still find it funny that we seem to have a knack for running into females human and digimon alike and he...."
That was where Ryuji stepped in grabbing Yoshihiro before the little guy said anything to embarrass him and muffled the Calumon's mouth with part of his hand as he hissed "Behave." This resulted in Yoshihiro crossing his arms before wiggling loose and pouting before Ryuji said "Sorry about him. He can be a handful at times but he means no harm. Like he said I'm Ryuji and he is Yoshihiro."

Gihai reciprocating her own gesture wasn’t something Mana had expected, but that she definitely did appreciate! A purr of elation came out from her mouth; it was no doubt a funny coincidence that the two had managed to cross paths yet again. She couldn’t blame the Guilmon for feeling down at her expectations being dashed; all in all, despite its reputation for being heavenly and such, Luminas was at the end of the day, just another city of the Digital World. “I completely understand how you feel! This place isn’t that impressive when you see with your own two eyes. It’s pretty much the same as the last time I saw it.” How long ago had that been, anyway? Let’s say… a fair bit of time, at the very least. Regarding her would-be quest, at the very least it seemed like she would have a companion. The Meicoomon grinned excitedly. “You’re really gonna help me? That’s great news! With two heroines, finding what Nami-chan is after will be done in a jiffy!” Maybe she was overestimating the quality of the help she would get, but there was no reason to think failure was an option, right? Such a downer mindset would be unworthy of a heroine! It was her duty to remain steadfast and cheerful at all times. What about their newcomers and their colorful comments? At least for the time being, Mana didn’t know what to make out of them. A quizzical expression was directed at them. “Flying isn’t that hard. Everyone can do it if they try hard enough.” Maybe a bit of an overstatement, but it applied in her own case! She proceeded to shrug before setting her sights on the path ahead. “Anyway. Name’s Mana and I’m searching for a digimon to bring to my sister. They gotta be kind and have a nice personality; any idea where that can be found? I’m not familiar with this city at all.” If they were ignorant about this, they’d have to go search on their own, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. Her sights were already affixed on a library-like building. “Maybe check that one out first? What do y'all think?”

The expression Gihai made upon Mana's purr of elation was...something that was admittedly a touch difficult to put into words. The Guilmon had not expected the heroine to appreciate the gesture to that degree, so she seemed...pleasantly surprised. Yes, let us use that.
"I guess most people really put a lot of emphasis on the fact we're in the heavens. It makes you have expectations for it, and when you find it's actually a little more disappointing...Yeah." The Guilmon gave Mana an enthusiastic nod, before turning to Ryuji and Calumon. They asked how she got here...
"Oh, I just walked through a portal and wound up here--it's still there, I think. But only I know where." Gihai gave a shit-eating grin! She couldn't really fly yet, but she was pretty sure most Guilmon could evolve to a stage where they could...or find a friend to help them fly.
Gihai had also never been here, so...no clue where a Digimon meeting such specifications could be found! She just looked to the library. "It seems worth a shot to start there, Mana-chan. Libraries tend to have kindly people tending to them." There was a notable pause in her words, too.
As if she had forgotten something...! Oh! "Oh, right! My name's Gihai, nice to meet you." Regardless. She was willing to move on.

These digimon seemed strange but friendly enough but it begged the question. Why did they need to find a digimon with a nice personality? Turning to Yoshihiro the floating Calumon blew a playful raspberry at him before Ryuji shook his head. Yes Yoshihiro was nice most of the time but today he seemed to be more mischievous than normal. Maybe he was picking it up from one of the other digimon perhaps. "Flying is hard for humans as we aren't flight based creatures. I guess it's one of those crazy digimon traits." Ryuji then looked around before he said "Sorry Yoshihiro and I have never been here so we wouldn't know were to look."
Then there it was a shit eating grin from the green Guilmon who had yet to introduce herself. 'That could explain Yoshihiro today.' Ryuji thought as the green Guilmon mentioned arriving through a portal. Okay, strange but not unheard of to Ryuji by now.
As for the library it seemed the Guilmon was in agreement and Ryuji said "If what you are seeking isn't available there, Mana, maybe they can guide us in the right direction at least." Then realizing she forgot something the green Guilmon introduced herself as Gihai. "Nice to meet you both." Ryuji then said causing Yoshihiro to sigh.
The small digimon floated over to Mana and Gihai and said "Sorry about my tamer. Ryuji's a nice guy and all but I would of figured after a year he would of loosened up a little with being so serious most of the time."

Indeed, the place being touted as ‘heaven’ was severely lacking when it came to the actual thing. One could say that it was pretty much a smaller, cleanlier Terminus that just happened to favor angels as their residents.
And the only thing Mana could do regarding it was to shrug. “It is what it is. Not much to do about it, honestly! It won’t be the first nor the last place with false advertising! That’s the reason why nothing quite beats empirical observations, you know?”
The group assembled in this place was no doubt a pretty colorful one; that much the Meicoomon could infer given the following dialogues and explanations regarding how they got here. A quizzical expression was directed towards Ryuji, but ultimately Mana decided against doing or saying anything regarding their conversation. Instead, she focused on the task at hand. While on their way to the library, the Meicoomon’s attention was brought to a small digimon that was exiting the building itself; a small, lion-like being that seemed to be riding atop a small cloud. What was its name, again? “Weathermon, right?” A blank stare was directed towards Gihai, as if hoping for a confirmation. It mattered not if she didn’t receive one, though.
“Can you go ask them if they wish to accompany us? I’ll be waiting near, just in case!” A flawless plan, if anyone had concocted them. As dubious as it was, if they accepted, the journey down would be fairly straightforward. In the most likely case, though? Mana was poised to strike at the unsuspecting digimon.

"Em...pirical..." Gihai repeated the words uttered by the cat to herself. She had heard this word before, but...what did it mean again...? Based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.
...Also, she didn't really have much to offer period with the conversation between the Calumon and the tamer. To intervene in such would be most rude, and unlike any and all things uttered by the author, Gihai was not that. Walking to the library with a friend for a change felt...hm. Exciting, but they did have some purpose behind coming here, did they not?
The Guilmon peered towards the exiting Weathermon. "Mmhmm. I've never seen one in the flesh before, that's pretty neat." And she had a chance to talk to them too! How kind of Mana, right? The Guilmon stepped on over. Very simple.
"Excuse me, do you have a moment? I have a friend who's never seen a Weathermon before and she'd really like to meet you!" ...WHAT WAS A GENDER NEUTRAL WAY TO ADDRESS THIS THING?

"Weathermon?" Ryuji quietly muttered to himself having never seen such a digimon before. Maybe it was a fairly uncommonly seen digimon. "Hey, Yoshihiro, have you seen this digimon before?"
Yoshihiro shook his head before he said "Not until today I haven't. Sure is a cute little thing." Yoshihiro took in Mana's posture and whispered "I hate to be mean but Mana makes me uneasy. Keep an eye out just in case. I'll float up and say hi to Weathermon."
When Ryuji nodded Yoshihiro took that as his cue and floated up toward the Wheathermon with a friendly smile. It seemed Gihai was also trying to speak with the small digimon as well. "Hi there. I hope you aren't busy but like the green Guilmon said she has a friend that would like to meet you."
Maybe Yoshihiro's natural cute and harmless looking appearance would be helpful but what about Mana made him uneasy? Ryuji glanced at the Meicoomon briefly before looking away. Maybe it was the Calumon's instincts as a warrior but Ryuji knew that Yoshihiro wouldn't whisper such things unless he felt something was up. All the eighteen year old could do is wait and see if anything happened.

It seemed like Weathermons were fairly rare, as far as digimon went. Mana honestly hadn’t seen many in the tenure of her lives, and that’s exactly what made them interesting! Not to say, fairly cute as far as child-level digimon went. A hallmark of the feline’s exquisite taste, surely!
Was Yoshiro right for doubting a cat of such pure intentions? Probably! It honestly depended on how the whole situation would go, and what was his stance in the events soon to unfold.
Gihai and then Ryuji approached the wandering digimon that was calmly floating through one of the many walkways the plaza had. Of course, given the fact that the digimon didn’t know either the Guilmon nor the Calumon, he seemed fairly startled at the sudden proposal coming his way, especially when it was pronounced twice! “U-uuh…” Least to say, the digimon seemed to be a bit at a loss at the sudden influx of attention. He grasped the book he had been holding a little tighter and began moving just a tiny bit faster. “That’s a bit of a sudden question! Wh-why is that person so curious about meeting me? What do they want?”
A bit of a scaredy cat, wasn’t he? Given the situation, it was probably somewhat justifiable. Oh well; at least for the time being, Mana would just try to appear inconspicuous as she approached the scene from an angle the digimon couldn’t see. As long as the distraction continued, everything would be fine.

Gihai didn't really have doubts here--the sisters were always nice to her, right? So...clearly there was only pure intentions here, yup yup. "Well, I dunno! I think she's just a worldly sort of cat--plus, again, she's never really met a Weathermon before. So I think it's largely a bid to sate curiosity."
For if it was not dealt with now? It certainly never would be. "Do you guys usually just...tell the weather or do you control it?" A legitimate question on Gihai's part, truth be told. She had never considered such a command over nature to really exist, so it was better to get that question out now.
Wait, he didn't know who they were, huh? "Also, my name's Gihai, it's really nice to meet you, Mister Weathermon!"

So Mana seemed to be the curious type as well making Yoshihiro now curious of who Mana was as a person. Something was strange about her but he was a Calumon who couldn't digivolve others and was a warrior with a human tamer so who was he to judge what was strange?
"Seem like the little guy is nervous." Ryuji muttered barely audible to his Calumon partner making Yoshihiro want to facepalm at his partner's obvious statement. Yet Yoshihiro managed to avoid such an urge as Ryuji's statement was probably him thinking aloud which everyone seemed to do sometimes without realizing it.
"Easy there. If we scared you I assure you that wasn't our intention." Yoshihiro said in a soothing tone despite having zero experience doing so. He was just copying the tone he heard his father use. "I'm Yoshihiro and the human on the ground is my tamer Ryuji. He's a nice guy if a bit too serious at times for my liking." Yoshihiro said now taking a friendly tone making full use of his normally friendly ways.
