Understandably, the Weathermon was nervous at the current state of events. Yet, he began to warm up slowly at the newcomers. They looked friendly enough, right…? Well, if it weren’t for the fact they constantly insisted on ‘visiting’ that person he didn’t know. No matter how one saw that one, it was as fishy as it could be.
This situation was making the small digimon nervous. He clutched his book, then stared at the Guilmon. “Why don’t you bring her here, then? Wouldn’t that be more practical?” That’d be correct, right? On a more or less populated place, in the bright light of a beautiful Luminian day. In any case, it wasn’t like he harbored any ill thoughts towards the newcomers. Besides the fact they seemed pretty extroverted, they were fairly normal, right?
The digimon broke out of his reverie as soon as he noticed a few awkward seconds had passed since the next questions were issued to him. “Weathermons can do a bit of both! But since our level isn’t very high, not really on a big scale.” Things as they are, the truth was that rookie levels weren’t all that strong when it came to digimon. “My name is Etienne. Pleased to meet you all. This cat you’re talking about must be pretty important if she sent three people to fetch me. I’m a bit flattered.”
It could only be noted for the briefest of moments, but the Weathermon had been backing out from the group ever so slightly ever since he began speaking. Once he finished speaking, it was fairly obvious that he was about to break into a sprint somewhere… if it weren’t for the fact that he was soundly smacked in the back of the head by a Meicoomon that suddenly appeared. Immediately, the digimon lost consciousness.
“Eh. It was a good attempt. That much I'll give to you.” Mana said nonchalantly, lifting the unconscious digimon up over her shoulder. “Anyway, thanks for helping! You should probably abandon this place fairly soon, though!”
Why had she said that, you ask? It’d become fairly obvious a couple seconds afterward, as sirens began sounding at the distance.
