"I may not know everything about tamers but I know enough ta be able ta help both you and Sylvia. I do find it odd how Kuwagamon behaved before the battle with him when he had the Digimental in his possession. I thought those things could only be moved by those they were destined for." Blaster said scratching his chin trying to make since of the same mystery Kima had been thinking about earlier.
"Perhaps he found it while he was forming his burrow and never moved it at all but you're right about one thing, Blaster, Kuwagamon's behavior was far from normal." Takoda said also now trying to piece things together.
"That it is. At least the first few humans in the Digital World I've met so far have not been like those kids from school." Kima said. "I also wouldn't mind a little help with learning how to lead. At least both Takoda and Blaster are fairly mellow and well mannered digimon. I wouldn't know what to do if they were more of a handful though."
Sylvia then asked Arata to toss her a granola bar from her bag and the Fanbeemon lept into action before finding and throwing the requested snack to his tamer. "I guess, Arata, is fairly easy for you to work with since he seems so kind and helpful."

"I bet it cursed him! He wasn't supposed to have it, so it made him get all jealous and mad!" Arata suggests. "...Wait, what's a Digimental? Is that what the egg was?" He then shrugs before pivoting back to his suggestion. "I mean, it felt like I was filled with the power of Knowledge, and um... well, the opposite of knowledge is... jealousy? cause... you are jealous of what you don't know?" He sips his soda. "...I dunno, I don't do well with the whole thinking symbolically thing... I'm just a worker."
"...Well, it helps that he did save me from the Goblimon, technically. I got burned up a bit by his Goblin Strike back in Shibuya." She holds up her arms, which appear to be more red than they should, despite how pale she currently is. "So... Yeah. Plus, I mean... He calls me Nee-san... He's literally like the little brother I never had, and like..." Her blush deepens. "I can't deny him that... and I've kind of always wanted a sibling..."

"Hmm. Maybe but I never heard of a digimental doing somethin like cursing anyone before." Blaster said feeling more confused that before. Then when Arata asked what a digimental was Blaster knew he could explain this and said "Well, little bug, a digimental is an ancient form of digivolution and not just anyone is able to use them. The digimentals often gain their power from virtues and vices but that is not always tha case though and yes as ya saw it tends to look similar to an odd looking digiegg. Some have been known to have fancy markings, decorative ornamentation, or even spikes on them."
"You mean the Goblimon from the bar? If he was that nasty in Shibuya I'm glad he returned to the Digital World where stronger digimon can keep him in line." Kima said thinking back to the nasty creature that seemed all to willing to fight until Blaster ran interference since the bouncers didn't do their jobs. "As for Arata, he sounds like a good little brother. Shame I don't have siblings of my own."

"Huh. Okay then." He then shrugs. "...So uh... Know anything about this Digisoul? Looked like Nee-san was going by instinct when she made me use the Digimental. ...Wait, don't answer that till Nee-san is here to pay attention." He grins before toddling over to Takoda. "What about you, Takoda? Got anything fun to share?" He sips his soda again.
"Yeah, him. He came up out of the water of the Shibuya River. Apparently, he claimed the stretch I was walking down for like, a month. So, I squared up with him and we were duking it out. But when my Digisoul activated for the first time, he decided that our established rules were out the window and threw a fireball. I blocked it with my Digisoul but it still scorched my arms pretty good." She laughs. "It was actually kinda fun. Then a portal opened above me, and out shouts Arata, 'Nee-san! I'm here to help!' And he knocks Goblimon into the water with a Gear Stinger." Sylvia then sighs gently. "...I still don't know how he was waiting for me, or why... but I guess I can't be too mad having him around..."

" 'Fraid I don't have much knowledge about this digi soul thing as I never heard tha term mentioned by travelin tamers before or other digimon. Maybe it's a rare thing in humans." Blaster said with a clueless shrug regarding the whole deal.
"Sorry I know even less about tamers as I lived out in the desert my whole life before meeting Kima." Takoda said wishing he could be more helpful than he was in this discussion.
"I'm glad I didn't ever cross paths with Goblimon before I met Takoda but, then again, I rarely go to the Shibuya River so that makes sense why I never saw him lurking out there." Kima said and then Sylvia mentioned Arata was waiting for her. "Maybe that's destiny matter like with our digivices. Takoda was apparently looking for me when I somehow woke up in a desert in the Digital World though I still don't know how I got there to begin with."

Arata's wings buzz for a moment. "What's the desert like? I've really only known the woods, maybe the field, and Terminus." He asks, settling himself in as if waiting for Sylvia and Kima to come over.
"I'd say I don't believe in destiny, but I'd be lying through my teeth." Sylvia giggles. "...Well..." She looks at her jacket. "...Guess we should probably see what the boys are up to over there, huh? Maybe Blaster can give me some insight into what the heck we're supposed to do. He knows a lot about humans, doesn't he..." She looks over at the Digimon, talking amongst themselves. It... was odd. She actually had friends now. For the first time ever, it feels like.
"this is what they took from you. your mother. your gang. you can get your revenge on them soon."
"Shut up." She bitterly responds in her head, and she swears she hears an echoing laugh.

The deserts of the Western Flatlands are definitely much drier and warmer than the mild climate around here. There is also much less water among the sands but in those arid conditions plants and digimon alike have adapted to be able to survive even in that harsher climate." Takoda said looking around before he then said "To be fair this milder climate is strange to me but I guess that comes from spending most of my life living in a harsher climate."
"Guess we should since they seem to get along." Kima said looking at the three digimon interacting with one another before looking back at Sylvia and said "Maybe Blaster gained his knowledge of humans because he was around a variety of folks. Takoda doesn't seem to know much about humans but I guess that makes sense seeing he lived out in a desert with a digimon called Jijimon since he was a cub."
Kima then began walking over to the three digimon before turning back to Sylvia as the older girl was not folowing. Hell she even looked like she wasn't focused. Worried she might be falling under the influence of the being that caused her to go berserk in the nightclub, she yelled "Sylvia, snap out of it!" That yell caught Takoda and Blaster's attention as neither of them had heard her speak that loud before and Kima's tone sounded scared as well causing the two of them to rise to their feet ready to spring into action if they had to. "Sylvia, please don't listen to that voice." Kima said in a much quieter but no less scared tone looking as if she was struggling with running for her life or going to help the older girl.

Sylvia outright jumps at Kima's yell before blushing again. "...R-Right... Thanks..." Sylvia rubs the back of her head as she moves up to the fire with the rest of the group and settles herself down next to the fire, tugging her knees close to her chest as she wraps her arms around them. "Sorry, boys... Guess I'm just a reason to worry over." She mumbles.
Arata meeps before moving over to Sylvia and giving her a hug. Sylvia gives a little smile before patting the bee. "...Thanks, Arata. I'm okay." She then looks over to Blaster. "Alright, Blaster-san... You know a lot about humans and our role in this whack world. Give me the basic rundown for that egg, and this whole Digivolution thing. I mean... like... I was told about the levels sorta, but I want to know more about how it works." She cracks her neck a bit, hoping that by learning, she can stave off the darkness.
While Arata settles his bumble butt down next to Sylvia and keeps sipping his soda, which has about a quarter left.

Kima was dead silent at Sylvia's words not knowing what to say but followed and sat down with the others. When Arata moved in to Sylvia hugging her both Takoda and Blaster sat down again though there was a general sense of unease between the two digimon as they looked between Sylvia and Kima wondering what had happened.
"I know some stuff based on what I overheard at my last job. Like I told Arata, that egg ya came across is quite special. It is known as a digimental and allows some digimon access to an ancient form of digivolution. What I didn't tell him is that those few who find digimentals carry up ta two of them. One for champion level and one for ultimate respectively though the digimentals are a bit weaker in strength than regular digivolution good fighters or crafty digimon can often make due with the slight handicap just fine. When ya activated it by calling out Digi Armor Energize I hafta admit I was surprised since ya didn't have anyone explain ta ya how the digimental's power could be accessed." Blaster said a confused look appearing on his face at his last sentence. Meanwhile the smell of cooked meat began making its presence known as the meat apples seemed to be finished cooking.

"I just... kinda followed my instincts, I guess. ...maybe the voice gave me the proper nudge." She rubs the back of her head in embarrassment. "What are these levels for Digivolution then? I know Rookie, Champion, and Ultimate. But there've got to be more." She asks.
Arata reaches a claw out to pick up one of the meat apples and hands it over to Sylvia. She takes it and nods gently, before nomming in. "...Mh... Gotta say though, this world has some good food." She adds.
"Just wait till I can find some good data to make you honey. It'll knock your socks off!" Arata says happily before finishing off his soda. "...Mh. This was good. Can we go back to the Real World and get more?"
"Maybe later, Arata."
"Aww." The bee then shrugs and looks at Blaster and Takoda. His antennae twitch. He didn't like the unease that was washing off of them.

"You are right about there being more levels, Sylvia. Other than rookie, champion, and ultimate there are two stages before rookie called fresh and in training and the other two are mega and super mega. You saw through the power of digi xros that digimon involved in the xros become levels from champion to super mega depending on how many digimon are involved." Takoda said joining the conversation before he continued "In Kima's case the evolution forms are X2, X3, X4, X5, and X7. Blaster and I can utilize the X2 form of BalliBeastmon which is a champion digimon. X3 is ultimate, X4 is mega, and X5 and X7 are super mega forms."
"What blows my mind is I have to potential to have multiple champion forms active at once this way and after BalliBeastmon I wonder what other wild forms I'll see." Kima said still not knowing what to do with that information.
"Don't worry, Kima. A buncha champions active at once won't come for some time yet." Blaster said as he handed Kima a meat apple while Takoda had already grabbed one for himself. Blaster then grabbed one and started to eat then he noticed Arata staring at him and Takoda and asked "What's tha matter, little bug? Is it cause Takoda and myself are a bit tense?"

Sylvia nods as Takoda answers, and she takes another bite out of her apple. "...I wonder what Arata will become."
"Probably Waspmon and CannonBeemon. At least, that's what the FanBeemon of the Honey Base would Digivolve into." Arata answers, before looking back at Blaster and giving a nod. "...Yeah. Can kinda cut the tension over there with my stinger." He then adds.
Sylvia looks at her partner.
"cannonbeemon would be perfect. big. long range. destructive. perfect revenge."
"Shut. IT!" She shakes her head and her grip tightens on her apple... causing part of it to actually crack unexpectedly and make her jump again. "...Oof. Ow. That hurt." She tries to play it off as an accident while taking another bite.
"...So uh... What do you guys know about the mystical side of this world? I guess. Like... I dunno..." She shrugs. "Got any vampires?" She says with a wry grin, clearly not expecting the answer to probably be yes.

"Could be those forms, Arata, or it can be something else entirely. Digivolution can be unpredictable that way." Takoda said with a grin after looking up from his food. "Sylvia was acting odd moments ago and we saw Kima getting tense so we were worried something major was wrong. Sorry to worry you, Arata." Blaster then also apologized for worrying the Fanbeemon as well.
When Sylvia jumped Kima jumped as well looking at the older girl worriedly. "Sylvia, are you okay? What happened?"
"We have all sorts of digimon resembling mystical or mythological creatures from many cultures. Things like vampires, demons, and angels. In some places it can look to humans like some crazy cultural exchange regarding mythologies." Blaster said looking at the cracked apple in Sylvia's hand. Something must of happened because he was doubtful it was an accident. Takoda had seen everything and was getting the same feeling as well.

"...The peanut gallery decided to make a comment is all." She decided to say. She's lied enough to Kima and the others.
Upon hearing that Digimon can look like all manner of things, she sighs a bit. "...Well, that's reassuring. What's next, you have a few gods walking the world too?" Sylvia adds sarcastically, switching the apple to her other hand to shake off the original.
"Well, um... define god?" Arata peeks up at Sylvia, which just causes her to deadpan stare at him.
The bee then looks at Takoda with a small shrug. "...Oh. Okay. Yeah." He looks down and picks up a small piece of grass, which he then breaks down into a data packet to sculpt. He then holds up a tiny brick after a moment. "Tada." He says, hoping to cut the tension again!
Sylvia can't help but giggle a bit. "If you make a few more of those, we can just build a house out here."

"It must of been bad if you jumped like that." Kima said looking slightly relieved that Sylvia was opening up more if only a little bit.
"Depends on the tribe but yeah, digimon have gods. Yet the most common one worshipped in the Digital World is the super computer Yggdrasill." Takoda said glad that she was curious to understand more about the Digital World.
They watched Arata utilized his talent to alter a blade of grass to turn it into a small cube which Kima looked at in awe. "That is amazing, Arata. Is that how you got your last job done?" Kima asked not witnessing Arata's unique talent while she was talking to Sylvia and treating the older girls injuries. Sylvia's condition was still concerning and not just the physical shape she was in. "That ability must be useful in many ways if you have the necessary material to use it."
