Keiko Wakabayashi Age: 16 Gender: Female Height: 145cm // 4’9” Weight: 40kg // 88 lbs Birth Date: June 3 Birth Place: Fukuyama
Digivice: Eggshell-White Digivice iC design
Personality: Keiko doesn’t know if there’s life after death, but if there is a chance for reincarnation, be it by the way of the heavenly Buddha or by the will of isekai, Keiko is most definitely ready to start over. For various reasons, she’s essentially given up on this world and its people, becoming a shut-in when she should be living out her youthful high-school years.
Keiko dismisses most current events, or at least the ones that don’t affect her directly. Call her self-centered, but she doesn’t want to hear about problems bigger than herself or that there’s nothing that she can do to help, though if there were something she could do, Keiko would likely come up with some excuse not to if it were anything more than mildly inconvenient. The only good deeds Keiko performs are there to absolve her of the guilt of the fact that she doesn’t really go out of her way to help others. Anything to justify calling herself a good person, even though she knows that when the chips are down, she’ll always look out for number one.
As stated previously, Keiko’s a shut-in who would much rather be alone and away from the attention of others. She’ll spend her days online, or reading various novels, and of course, if only to complete the trifecta, gaming, preferring slower-paced games like visual novels or anything turn-based. In fact, it’s this love of gaming that has let her be emotionally detached from herself as a person, and just see things in a more cold and calculating light. This is most definitely unhealthy, but for Keiko it’s also a necessary coping mechanism she needs to deal with past trauma.
Keiko’s developed a nihilistic worldview and constantly tells herself that nothing actually matters. That all her fears and worries are just as insignificant as she is, and everything else in the world. But in reality Keiko is a deeply passionate and imaginative person who can’t help but get obsessed over everything around her. Like wanting to draw and write about a charming side-character in a game she played, digging deeper into the game’s lore and stir up many a discourse over the internet on why her headcanon is superior. Or fantasize about that ruggedly-handsome convenience store clerk, and imagine an entire life around this one man that she sees thirty seconds at a time.
Despite what she’d want you to believe, Keiko’s an incredibly sensitive person who can react big with little stimulation. She feels too strongly about everything that she grows attached to, and for as much as she loathes the world around her, she gets attached to things fairly easily. So she tries to cut herself off from the world. If she can’t grow attached to anything, then the things that she loves can’t hurt her anymore, right?
Appearance: Keiko’s not too concerned about her physical appearance. It’s not uncommon for her to forget/decide not to bathe, and it can be quite a bit of time before she bothers doing her laundry. That said, while she doesn’t like to do it too often, whenever she does go outside she at least makes a modicum of effort. She doesn’t really have a preferred style, but she tries to coordinate whatever clothes she has lying around, wrinkled or otherwise. Her bows are incredibly precious to her, and unless she’s sleeping, she tries to tie her hair up with at least one no matter how childish it makes her look. She’s horrendously far-sighted, though she prefers contacts due to multiple incidents of stepping on misplaced glasses.
FaceClaim: Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun • Chiyo Sakura • Keiko Wakabayashi
Personal History: While she doesn’t really have anything else for comparison, Keiko never really felt like she was anything special, growing up. Parents who would occasionally bicker but ultimately loved each other and their children. A younger brother who she didn’t entirely get along with but looked out for each other at the end of the day. A group of friends that she spent time with and laughed together, but the kind of friends that would forget about each other the moment they moved on to other social circles.
But during her last year of junior high, a then-optimistic Keiko would put everything on the line and put her heart out on her sleeve. And the results couldn’t have been more disastrous. Through various coincidences that would be comical to most but absolutely traumatic to her, Keiko found herself going through what she would later dub as the Worst Day in Human History, later to be shortened as the Worstening. Anything that could have gone wrong did, and Keiko would find herself the laughingstock of her entire school.
And after that, Keiko may as well have been radioactive. Her friends were too scared to be seen with her. Classmates and even a couple teachers would openly dismiss her. And once it was clear that she was fair game, it wasn’t long before anyone that didn’t even know her personally would know about and pick on her. Every day she spent in school was an anxiety-filled powder keg of humiliation and mockery. It was enough to change one optimistic, naive girl’s viewpoints of the world and its inhabitants.
If Keiko had superpowers, then that would have been the beginning of her supervillain origin story. But reality isn’t so convenient, and all Keiko wanted was an escape from her life from a small town. So she begged and pleaded with her parents for a way out, for her to go to school in another city, somewhere more populated and she would just be one more face in the crowd. And after meeting their demanda, improving her test scores, and showing that she was capable of being on her own, her parents acquiesced, allowing her to spend her high school years on her own in Shibuya. Keiko would finally be able to escape this hellish small town!
And while her life certainly seemed like it would get better, her trauma and anxieties around it were more like an open wound than a hardened scar. Every little jab her peers would make at her expense dug way too deep into her, and she would often overreact, to the point where sometimes she would get physically ill. And her anxieties would kick into overdrive. Just this alone would make her new peers think badly of her, right? She was going to become radioactive all over again.
So she stopped attending class and became a shut-in. She didn’t tell her parents, but they would no doubt be livid when they found out. But Keiko would just deal with that circumstance when it came around. Once they cut her off financially, she could just get a job or something, maybe try and make a profit from her various hobbies. She had been drawing fanart of various media ever since she was a small child, and she’d gotten pretty good at it. And while she didn’t think she had a knockout figure, she could totally like, sell cosplay photos or something. And she was used to writing fanfiction, so she could write a light novel and get published! All of those were totally viable and easy-to-accomplish goals for a thin-skinned teenager, right?
But regardless of what she did, Keiko couldn’t go back. She couldn’t go anywhere anymore. And nothing was ever going to change that.
Not even this giant egg that just appeared in her apartment one day.

Bub Default Form: Chibimon Gender: Male
Personality: Optimistic. If I could get away with writing that word down 150 times for Bub’s personality and be done with it, you could be sure that I’d do it. But that’s not the case here, is it? Bub is young, naive, and possibly a little stupid, but no matter how dark things become, Bub is always looking for a silver lining, that little speckle of hope that will help light up that darkness and let him see something meaningful that he can grasp onto. He’s stubborn enough to not let himself give into despair or be tainted by the moods of the more dour, pessimistic folk.
Bub has insanely good luck, and things just always seem to turn out well for him to an outright improbable degree. And the fact that he’s so blessed has given him a privilege that he doesn’t quite understand just yet. This has given him his optimistic viewpoint, since things always seem to work out for him when he really needs it to, he just assumes that it’s the same for others. If you’re down on your luck, you just need to be more like him and look forward to the future with a smile!
That said, sometimes he doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. There’s a time and a place to be hopeful, and his constant positivity can be jarring at times when it’s not appropriate. He doesn’t fully comprehend that sadness, anger, and fear are justifiable emotions, and that sometimes people just break sometimes. He’s compassionate and quick to sympathize with others, but because he is the way he is, he just doesn’t have the faculties to truly empathize with someone with someone’s traumas. Maybe one day he’ll learn this, but it’s also more likely that Keikosomeone will strangle him to death first.
INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
Fresh Species: Chicomon Appearance:
Attribute: None Family/ies: None Type: Slime
Abilities:
[Active] 1. Good Luck Gum - Bub spits out a wad of chewing gum towards someone. It’s kind of gross, but legends state that if you can chew this wad of gum exactly one billion times (assuming you chewed once per second, it would take over 30 years), then you’ll be granted good fortune for the rest of your life. Also, if it happens to get stuck in your hair... yeah. Also, it seems just like bubblegum, it’s actually Bub’s version of a booger, but he prefers not to inform people of that.
Digivolves To: Chibimon

Out of combat, it’s also a useful ability for both Casinos and gacha games, though it might not be worth the concussion. Duration: 3 Posts Cooldown: Once Per Thread for the combat effect.

Ris Default Form: Koromon Gender: Male
Personality: Sometimes, when you’re lonely, you just need a friend. Or if you’re secretly a reality-bending dragon that’s feeling really lonely because your tamer realized that you eat so much food that she needed to get a part time job, leaving you alone in her apartment for hours at a time and specifically told you that bad things would happen to you if you ever left the apartment, then you realize that you can’t stand being alone.
But then you remember this one time you met a pair of Agumon brothers, who seemed to enjoy playing with one another, and realize that they probably never have to worry about being lonely. Your inner desires are somehow made manifest and for some reason, an entirely new being is brought into existence.
It’s not like that happened here or anything! All Bub knows is that he had been feeling lonely, then one day a Koromon appeared out of nowhere and claimed to be his long-lost brother! And as Bub’s brother, Ris shares a lot of similarities with Bub. Like Bub, he doesn’t seem to be the least bit worldly, but that doesn’t matter when all you have is a positive attitude in life, right?
Ris is extremely supportive of everyone he meets. Almost as if he were created to be the perfect companion. Ris doesn’t have any memory from before he showed up before Bub, and that’s definitely something to be alarmed about. After all, who are you besides “this person’s brother?” That’d be enough to rack anyone’s head about and give a whole slew of identity Rises.
But not Ris! He seems perfectly content in playing second fiddle to just about everyone around him. Maybe that makes him a pushover, but he just likes to think of it as being a really nice fellow!

Mercenaries Gig Default Form: Guilmon/Gigimon Gender: Female
Personality: Having grown up in the deepest swamp of the backup bayou, separated from most of civilized society, Gig is something of an oddity. Everything about her just seems... off. In almost every social situation she’s in she doesn’t quite seem to get it. She’ll laugh at inappropriate times, stop talking while in the middle of a sentence, or just stare into someone’s eyes for an uncomfortable amount of time. Not to mention that she tends to not realize her own smell, which is a double turn-off.
But for as creepy as she can be, Gig is honestly kind of a sweetheart. In her own, bizarre way. She’s certainly inept in a social environment, but she tries to put others at ease. She has a bizarre sense of humor and doesn’t find many jokes to be funny, so she laughs so people will feel better. She tends to go on about topics that most other people don’t find very interesting, so she’ll stop talking as soon as she thinks she’s boring someone and tries to think of a new topic. And she’s aware that she needs to maintain eye contact in order to connect with someone. And as for the smelling like a swamp thing? No real excuse there. Girl just be stinky sometimes, yo.
Gig’s interest lies in hexes and curses, but instead of inflicting pain on others, she tries to flip the script and focuses her studies on blessing people instead. And any Digimon who seems to have an inordinate amount of good luck would definitely be a person of interest!

[Active] 3. Misfortunate Happenstance - Gig begins to chant ominously towards an enemy her level or lower, and for whatever reason, their next attack they use fails catastrophically, with the target taking half the damage their attack would have dealt. Digivolves From: Growlmon Digivolves To: Megidramon Maj Default Form: Shoutmon/Sakuttomon Gender: Female
Personality: Maj is a sweet little girl with a cute little nickname that’s short for... Your Majesty! So bow before her magnificence, lowly peasant! ...That was too much, wasn’t it? I’m so sorry, you don’t have to bow... U-unless you really want to, y’know?
All that and more can come out from the young lass in the span of ten seconds. In short, she’s something of an emotional rollercoaster that seems to change from moment to moment. When she’s feeling slightly confident, she’s the most self-assured and powerful Digimon in existence, and doesn’t care who seems annoyed by this. But the moment something goes wrong she immediately becomes meek and almost submissive.
But to say one or the other is the “real Maj” would be an outright lie. In actuality, she’s a young girl who just wants the people around her to like her, and would rather lie to herself and others to assure it.
Maj admires people who exude so much confidence and bluster and tries to emulate it, thinking it’s something other people like and definitely not something that others find annoying. She acts domineering and isn’t afraid to give out orders, but the moment someone puts up resistance she crumbles.
