"I wouldn't mind a rematch when you are fully healed myself. I didn't know humans could be so tough." Sangloupmon said with a smile and a tail wag. This bunch seemed so patient which made him feel bad for his earlier atrocious behavior at an innocent misunderstanding from the unfamiliar cat digimon.
"Come on, Sylvia, please don't be stubborn. I knew I should of said something but somehow I..I just couldn't." Kima said as Sylvia shed her jacket.
When Sylvia asked for everyone to turn around even Sangloupmon listened to her trying to be polite as Kima tended to the older girl's wounds. The smell of blood was distracting for him but, Takoda, who was the digimon he sent flying came up to him and said "About earlier. Sorry if I offended you. I should of thought before I spoke."
"Nah, I shoulda known better but I guess since I've been guarding these ruins manners were the last priority I had. I know it's a lousy excuse but I didn't want to fail my tribe as I was excited that they trusted me with such an important task but now I realize they were just trying to get rid of me without bothering to banish me." Sangloupmon said as memories from the one who assigned him the task made him snort with displeasure. When Arata flew over and introduced himself, Sangloupmon lifted his paw carefully accepting Arata's handshake before the Honeybeemon didigivolved back into Fanbeemon. "Nice to meet you. Your partner is certainly scrappy." he said before looking at the other human then Blaster and Takoda. "Either she is a Xros General or the two of you are the weirdest set of twins I have ever heard of."
Takoda and Blaster began to laugh before Takoda spoke up "No, Blaster and I aren't twins and Kima is our general. She still feels a bit unsure of her role so I hope you don't hold it against her. My name is Takoda and you seem to not be aware of the species I am. I am of a species called Pumamon. You mentioned being part of a tribe. Are they other Sangloupmon?"
"Sylvia, Arata, Kima, Takoda, and Blaster. Got it. As fer your question, Takoda, yes they are Sangloupmon or at least mostly. Some of them being rookies and others being champions and ultimates. Usually they leave after they digivolve past the point of being Sangloupmon. Though the tribe is a tribe of vampires every once in a while a child will be born without vampiric traits but such traits are not noticeable until we reach Sangloupmon. Sadly I reached the stage where my non vampiric traits are noticeable faster than most others who usually aren't noticable until champion level."
"Non vampiric traits? You mean your lack of large fangs?" Takoda carefully asked and Sangloupmon nodded.
Sure it was a sore spot for Sangloupmon but he wasn't angry at Takoda as it seemed the Pumamon was trying to understand. Taking a deep breath he said "Usually my tribesman kill those when it becomes obvious we aren't vampires so when I was given this job I thought I was some special exception to the rule since I was born with a power no other tribe member ever had."
"Ya mean the Ears of the Wolf?" Blaster asked and Sangloupmon nodded.
Sangloupmon then snorted in disgust before he said "I guess they figured I would be a good guard with that ability so that's why I was given this job."

Sylvia giggles quietly at the Sangloupmon. "He's kinda cute. Think we can keep him?" Sylvia asks as she shifts up her shirt to allow for Kima to adjust the bandages or apply fresh ones as necessary. She glances at Kima. "...Look, fighting is kinda the one thing I'm really good at. Don't feel bad. Like, unless it's obvious I'm going to get myself killed, of course." A brief pause. "...Plus, I mean... He was raring to go anyway, and there's few ways better of letting off some steam than a good ol' fist fight."
Arata nods, taking all of this in. "Yeah, Nee-san doesn't really like backing down out of fights. She hasn't really explained why, but I'm sure she'll tell eventually." The bee says. "But hey, if they wanted to exile you anyway, you might as well come with us! It'll be fun, and you don't have to worry about being judged or anything. Plus, I think Nee-san likes you."
"You better be careful over there, Arata. I might be hurt, but you know I can still take you on!"
"Love you too, Nee-san!" The two of them laugh together.

While Kima tended to Sylvia's injured back the older girl saying "He's kinda cute. Think we can keep him?" made Sangloupmon snort in amusement. "You may be good at fighting, Sylvia, but you should be at least a little more careful when injured like you are."
"A little fighting did make me feel better. At least unlike my tribe members, you didn't care that I'm not a vampire." Sangloupmon said without looking over at Sylvia. "As for coming along, I don't know. It's not that I'm worried someone from home will be angry at me if I leave as they don't seem to care about me anyway."
As Kima finished up she packed her bag again before standing up. "There that should hold for awhile." Kima said waiting for Sylvia to be ready to go as well.
Meanwhile outside the ruins a figure bigger than Sangloupmon stood before it said "So you let in a whole bunch of outsiders? I knew the leader should of put you down like the mongrel you are so I guess it's up to me." Then the figure fired a blast at the mountain so powerful the ruins themselves started to rumble even if the intruders left through the front they would not survive the avalanche of boulders. Then the figure bolted heading around to the other side of the mountain.
Inside the ruins the rumble was felt and various parts of rock began caving in. "The ruins are collapsing we have to get out of here." Takoda said as he stood turning the way he came hoping the others would follow.
"No going that way is a mistake! With how much shaking is going on if we go that way we'll be crushed like bugs if we don't fall off the mountain first." Sangloupmon said catching everyone's attention. "There is a back way that leads to the base of the mountain on the other side. Follow me quickly." Sangloupmon said swiftly moving toward said exit the others following. Sangloupmon was uneasy. After all mountains don't just start crumbling for no good reason.

"...I'm gonna punch that one though." She mutters as she pulls her shirt back down and redons her jacket. "Arata, think you can evolve again?"
"Yes, Nee-san!"
"Good." Cue evolution sequence at a much faster, less showy speed, and Honeybeemon in a burst of light flies back to grab both Sylvia and Kima under his arms so they can move faster while they follow Sangloupmon. "Off we go!"
Sylvia cracks her knuckles though. "Let me guess, Sangloup... That's one of your tribe mates who probably is gonna try and kill you, and us, now?" She asks, as she wriggles gently in Arata's grip. She didn't like that she was so easily carried by a human sized armored bee, but hey. If it works, it works...
And she has no desire to end up in a collapsed cave to die. Where's the fun in that? At least face her in battle and kill her like a man!

Kima was surprised when she was lifted by Arata in his armor champion form of Honeybeemon. The small bug was stronger than he certainly looked. Sangloupmon was at the head of the group with Blaster at the back knocking away boulders as they got out of the collapsing room in one piece and were heading into a hallway heading down. Though the shaking could be felt it seemed the hall was given extra support so those guarding could escape in the event of a cave in without being crushed by the mountain.
"I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of my tribe members so be on guard as the non rookie Sangloup tend to be a little bit larger than me and we don't know how powerful this one is." Sangloupmon said with a note of worry in his voice.
Sangloupmon, if it's a champion level opponent then we have a chance. Kima has helped Blaster and I form a Digi Xros before and Arata can help us too." Takoda said in an effort to calm him a bit.
"As long as you all understand that I won't stay behind and be protected. This is my fight as much as it is yours." Sangloupmon said as light was soon visible so the group picked up speed and soon where standing outside in the sunlight.
"I knew you would come out the back way. You disgrace the tribe by just existing." said a champion level Sangloupmon.
"If anyone is a disgrace it's you. You fight like a coward because you are a failure otherwise."
"How dare you speak to me that way!" the other Sangloupmon roared before dark bats flew at Arata who was still holding Sylvia and Kima. Moving fast Takoda signalled Arata to put the girls on his back while Blaster moved in front of Arata taking the brunt of the blow and was flung backwards his flailing arm accidentally flying for Arata.

Arata basically all but tosses the girls onto Takoda, causing Sylvia to shout something along the lines of "Don't you dare, I want to fi-!" But Arata was too focused on avoiding the flailing arm as he narrowly dodges... but as a result he takes the full brunt of the Sangloup aggressor's attack. Luckily, the bats seem to be doing physical damage, so his well armored body is able to tank it decently well.
"Kima, DigiXros!" He shouts before diving for the champion Sangloup. "PARALYZE STING!" He aims the stinger on his head for the Sangloup, hoping that he can make contact and paralyze the vampire long enough for a DigiXros to happen.
Sylvia, meanwhile, grumbles. Sidelined. Probably for the best, but since this thing wasn't nearly as big as Kuwagamon, she could take him!
"yes, you could. and you should."
Ah, the peanut gallery is back. Whatever wards this temple had against it must have broken when the place started collapsing. Guess she won't fight then, since the peanut gallery thinks it's a good idea.

Honey Armor [Combat Passive] - Due to being a well armored bee, Honeybeemon is 30% resistant to physical damage, but is 30% more vulnerable to cold damage. Also, if his wings get wet at all, he can’t fly until his wings dry in two turns.
Paralyze Sting - He stabs the enemy with the stinger on his head in an attempt to freeze them in place for a turn. [Cooldown - Two turns]

Arata's attack was successful in paralyzing the enemy but by the time the Takoda carried the girls over to where Blaster had landed with Sangloupmon right behind, they found the large bug out cold from a combination of the attack and hitting a large tree which broke and fell over. Climbing off Takoda and sprinting over to Blaster, Kima tried to rose the large bug but no luck. "Oh no, he's out. That means I can't activate a Digi Xros." Kima said on the verge of panicking.
She snapped out of it when Takoda said "That's not true, Kima. There is another option." He then looked at Sangloupmon before he said "That is if you would be willing to join Kima's army then you and I could form a xros and help Arata."
"I said I was part of this and I meant it, Takoda." Sangloupmon said before looking at Kima before he continued "Go ahead Kima, use that Digi Xros thing."
Kima nodded and waited till Sylvia got of Takoda before she said "Pumamon! Sangloupmon! Digi Xros!"
When the transformation was complete a fiercesome red wolf stood in place of where Takoda and Sangloupmon were seconds ago as he said "Fangmon!"
"Whoa." was all Kima could get out of her mouth.
Fangmon walked over to Sylvia and lay down before he said "I know you didn't want to be taken out of this fight, Sylvia, so hop up and hang on."

Sylvia grins. "Oh, hell yeah." Sylvia gets onto Fangmon, flaring her Digisoul. "As long as I can get him good across those chompers and maybe break a fang off, I'll be satisfied. Let's go."
Arata rolls his eyes and moves into the paralyzed Sangloup's face. "Hey. Hey buddy. She's gonna punch you. And you're just gonna take it. Ne?" He grins before aiming his fist at the wolf's face. "Sweet Spray! Enjoy seeing double!" And a pink cloud just erupts in front of the Sangloupmon's nose. This is assuming that the wolf needs to breathe... which Arata is honestly unsure about.
While Sylvia grins, waiting for the opportunity to leap forward and deck the vampire wolf in the face... "On Takoda, on Sangloup, on FANGMON!" She shouts with glee, ecstatic that this is actually happening...
Unaware of what fate has in mind as soon as the Sangloupmon is free to move...

Paralyzing Sting - 0/2 (Cooldown begins next turn when paralysis is over)
Sweet Spray - He shoots a cloud of thick, sweet smelling vapor at a target. If it’s inhaled, the enemy becomes a bit woozy and starts seeing double, reducing their accuracy by 30%. The cloud sticks around for two turns. If an enemy doesn’t need to breathe air, they are immune to this attack. [Cooldown - Two turns]

Though Kima wanted to say something she thought better of it as she didn't want to make anyone angry so she decided to look after Blaster until he woke up. Rising to his feet when Sylvia got on his back, Fangmon grinned with glee at the prospect of a good battle as it seemed that trait of Sangloupmon was fairly dominant as well as Takoda's level head which was an interesting combination to say the least.
Meanwhile the enemy Sangloupmon growled at Arata angry that he couldn't move only to get a face full of Arata's Sweet Spray as the pink cloud entered the angry canine's lungs his vision going double. "Coward's you'll pay for this when I can move!" he roared in rage.
Fangmon made his way over to the paralyzed enemy with a smug grin as he said "What's wrong tough guy. Can't take what you tried to dish out?" Sangloupmon only snarled in response at Fangmon recognizing what had happened.
"Formed a Digi Xros with a human's partner? You are so lucky that I can't move right now." Sangloupmon said continuing to snarl which made Fangmon roll his eyes before glancing at Sylvia with a smile.

Sylvia cracks her knuckles. "Let's see how much you talk with blood in your mouth." She says as she jumps off the back of Fangmon and swings hard right for the enemy snoot. Digisoul PAUNCH! Right in his snoot, a wild grin on her face as the 'hardlight' of her soul makes contact.
While Arata buzzes back a bit, waiting for Sylvia to get out of the way so he can more freely attack the Sangloupmon.
Of course, after making contact, Sylvia would drop to the ground and stumble back a bit from a bad landing, before she steps back out of the way of the Digimon. She did what she wanted, just needs to see if it leaves a lasting mark.
And then Arata stays right up in the Sangloup's face now, because staying right up in someone's face is USUALLY a good way to avoid getting hit too hard... right?
But this is a vampire.
Arata has not thought this through.

Sylvia struck the Sangloupmon square in the snout catching the foe by surprise but not really hurting him. Meanwhile, though his vision was still double, he had regained the ability to move and since he spotted two Honeybeemon with his altered vision he lashed out at Arata moving to sink his teeth into the bee and had good odds of succeeding since Arata was so close.
Meanwhile Blaster groaned as he started coming to with a nasty ringing in his ears. Bringing his hand up to his face he slowly sat up and asked "Ah wha hit me?"
Both the enemy Sanloupmon and the tree you crashed into. Are you okay, Blaster?" Kima said noticing the various dents in Blaster's body.
"I'm alright considering the impromptu flyin' lesson. So what did I miss?"
"Not much other than Takoda and Sangloupmon being involved in a Digi Xros to some red wolf called Fangmon." Kima informed him as he rubbed his head looking in the direction of the fight and, sure enough, the distinctive red fur of a Fangmon was plain as day and so was the fact Sangloupmon was making a move for Arata.

Sylvia tries to rush forward, seeing the grab coming. "Arata, get back!" She shouts, but her warning comes too late. Arata is grabbed by the vampire's jaws, right around the torso, and he yelps a bit. Despite the protection of his armor, those fangs HURT!
"Don't you dare! Let him go! LET HIM GO!" Sylvia starts punching the Sangloupmon in the leg, but metal gauntlets make her blows less than useless. In fact, it'd be real easy for the wolf to just bat her away without a single thought while leaving her poor partner ripe for the draining...
And she is trying very very very hard to avoid that very fate. Too bad she's just a human. Even as her Digisoul glows brighter while she attacks.
Arata glances down. "N-Nee-san... Just back off. We got this...! It's not like I'm fighting alone!" The bee has a good point, since Fangmon is literally right there.

Sangloupmon was successful as he felt his jaws close around the armored bee. Then Sylvia started hitting him and he just backed up as if not even acknowledging her presence. He didn't see her as a threat.
Fangmon seeing this decided now was the time to act as he darted around to the side of Sangloupmon as the vampire's fangs started to glow red so that meant an actual named attack was incoming and he was determined to stop it. Upon reaching the side of Sangloupmon, Fangmon charged and upon getting right up close said "Rapid Claw Strike!" Fangmon slashed at Sangloupmon's side rapid fire causing the vampire wolf to let go of his intended victim as his fangs ceased glowing while he howled in pain.
Turning enraged at Fangmon, Sangloupmon leapt at the red wolf pinning him to the ground trying to slash at Fangmon's throat. If Sylvia and Arata wanted to get a strike in Sangloupmon left himself wide open in a pained rage.

Sylvia grits her teeth and raises her fist, glowing brightly as the two of them move in sync. And then they shout together, "BEE LASER!"
His stinger glows a bright blue, and the Honeybeemon blasts the bright blue beam right into the side of Sangloupmon's face, hopefully blinding him with its energy since it's right there... But they can't exactly tell if Sangloupmon even has eyes so it probably won't work. But by unleashing this powerful attack, Arata was starting to tire. It wouldn't take much to knock him out of Armor now...
And he did just give the Sangloupmon a reason to go after him again.
Sylvia is hyperfocused on the fight though, almost feeling like her energy is being fed to Arata to help keep him stable as his armor form weakens. She can't figure out if she can tell when he's about to degenerate. Let's hope this ends it!

The Bee Laser struck Sangloupmon sending him tumbling off of Fangmon but swiftly regaining his feet the bat like wings on his head glowing. Kima watched as Blaster, though banged up, pushed himself to his feet and ran over to Sangloupmon surprisingly quick disrupting the focus of the wolf's attack by punching him in the side of the face. By then Fangmon had gotten up and was ready to attack.
Sangloupmon panted noticing the odds were not with him even though one of the ones fighting him was a human and another was a rookie. Turning to Fangmon he snarled "This is not over. The tribe will never cease hunting you until you no longer exist. That also goes for your new general as well as your allies." Spinning around he limped away as fast as he could with Blaster not even stopping him.
Only when Sangloupmon was long gone did Fangmon split back into Takoda and Sangloupmon. "Good riddence." Sangloupmon said with a disgusted snort.
"Yes but not only are you an exile, we all are enemies of your people." Takoda said looking in the direction their enemy fled.
"Nah, if they truly were my people they wouldn't of cared if I lacked vampiric traits. They would of taught me how to make do without em." Sangloupmon said before he continued "At least there is one bit of good news. The weapon I absorbed is an ancient relic they once used in war and a powerful weapon and since it is part of my data it can be used to our advantage."
"Guess it was good you didn't use the weapon's power in the ruins or we would of been buried alive." Kima said after being quiet for awhile.
