The light emitted from the bear Digimon reflected on Dorumon's eyes. Chills run down his spine the moment the Digimon spoke. It's no longer just a thuggish bear. It aims to kill. The sense of urgency forces him to run faster. Faster, faster, far from that crazy bear. However, it's all too late when he saw the Digimon launched five projectile at his direction.
"Nguh!" Dorumon dodged the first one to the left. To his shock, the projectile goes through the tree into the one behind it so easily, but stopped at the second shy from actually going through it to stab the third. The second came right afterward. He's being guided, guided to futilely evading the attack. Dorumon dodged by quickly moving backward. The second needle hits dangerously close to the ground near where he's standing. The third! He quickly turn his body. No time to evade other than that move. However, the next two came roughly the same time. He's screwed...
"DORUMON, METAL CANNON!!"
Yuuki's shout snapped him out of it. Quickly, he shoot metal cannon, not bothering to make it big enough as it's an emergeny at one of the incoming projectile's body instead of the tip. The metal projectile got slashed in two, but Dorumon managed to make the incoming attack deviate slightly.
SKRCH
Sickening sound of trees being penetrated resounded. The two projectiles managed to draw blood from the small beast dragon's right cheek and back. While it's just enough for shallow cut, the graze actually holds this much power.
...Champion is terrifying.
Yuuki got up slowly, holding on a tree for support.
"Thanks... I owe you one..." he muttered to the other boy.
Dorumon resumed his running despite the throbbing pain. That Digimon... if they don't work together, they'll be really screwed.

Post by Duffer & Kotemon on Sept 2, 2014 2:06:58 GMT
Duffer finally nabbed his comic book, putting it away and ending the distraction once and for temporarily. As he turned around to see what he'd missed he gasped as he saw the terrible monster that stood before them all. Like a certain businessman before him, every muscle in Duffer's body was telling him to run, his mind was telling him the same, even his gut pleaded with him to leave the others to their doom... but his heart, once again, proved the strongest muscle of them all. "H-hey bonehead!" He shouted, drawing attention away from the others. "You ugly pile of toothpicks! Even Frankenstein's Monster would call you hideous!" The dumb American shouted, while a stream of sweat ran down his body. "You're nothing but a lame slasher villain, like Jason and Micheal before you!" Truth be told, Duffer actually liked those two villains but this was not the time for nitpicking his distractions.
Kotemon stood its ground, glaring angrily at the beast that had turned into a monster before them. a great deal of anger came over the mon as it began attacking the students it was working on keeping safe, even this new child who'd begun questioning him had come under assault, and the mon was not having ANY of that. While Duffer shouted and tried to gain the monster's attention, Kotemon lunged, training sword at the ready. "HOTHEAD!" He shouted as it inexplicably set itself ablaze and began it's way towards the massive, flammable target.

She have no idea whether it's the comic's influence or he's just simply a fool, but Duffer suddenly yelling at the Champion level Digimon. Now with both Yuuki and Yuu in better condition, she stared straight at the Nightmare Soldier Digimon. Dorumon is running, presumably to take better aim... Kyo charged at the Digimon, but stealthily. Kotemon tries more direct approach, attacking head on. Karin decided what Pawnchessmon have to do.
"Do what you think is right."
Pawnchessmon immediately understood and followed the other in charging. Kyo attacking from the the top, Kotemon attacking right on, now her choice is...
"LIGHTNING BOLT!!"
The Digimon declared her attack as distraction. However, instead of actually shooting the lightning attack from the tip of her spear, she instead sweep at at the bear's back with it, aiming to shoot the bolt if it doesn't hit. The chess themed Digimon readies her shield in case something wrong happened.
OOC: Nope, it's not Defender's Posture, just normal blocking.

OOC: Sorry for being late, comp was in the shop for two days.
Nova forced himself to stand about the time the opponent Digivolved. He didn't bother with his Loader this time. He turned and walked up to the boy with the phone as the attack was being launched. Sparkmon dropped his whip, causing it to immediately dispersed when before the attack was launched and leaped back. Unfortunately, the orange lizard wasn't able to dodge in time. The first one nearly got him in the eye, but cut his right head fin instead. He blocked the second by pushing it off course with his left hand. The third lodged itself into his left shoulder.
The fourth one got him in the side as he ducked in anticipation for the fifth. Nova placed his spare map and compass in front of the tamer (Yuu). "Sparkmon won't last much longer. He's still recovering from last night when we had to fight an Ultimate level Digimon," Nova told them quietly. He glanced back at Sparkmon. He could make out the burns and marks where Sparkmon was grazed by laser fire the aforementioned night among the new injuries. He returned his gaze to the tamer. "That being said, the next attack from that Digimon will kill him."
"If we stay, we'll just be getting in your way. The only way we can help you now is if we find transportation to the Springs of Life in the Empyrean Skies and meet up with you in the Village of Beginnings for a healing session." Spark pulled the spike from his shoulder, wincing in pain. "I'm Nova Ozuka, and I'll be your flight attendant if you'll have me. I leave you with this strategy." Sparkmon threw the spike at the teddy's heart. "Have the majority of your Digimon distract him while the other aims for his weak points. With any luck you'll win."
Nova turned to Sparkmon. "Sparks! We're leaving!" the General announced. "If you care at all for my safety, you'll leave with me now." Sparkmon gave an aggravated sigh before retrieving his gloves. "Fine," Sparkmon replied. He eyed the opponent. "We'll settle this next time." He then followed Nova through the trees.

That’s all anyone really had to say to him when they were scared. He was ugly, he was a monster, he was more hideous than if Pinhead and Freddy had a mutated baby. But really, no one realized that this fed his ego. This meant he intimidated his opponents, even terrified them. He knew he was a creature of nightmares, he knew that people would attempt to use insults to mask their fear. He was disturbing to the eyes, and he loved it.
A twisted ghastly cackle could be heard being coughed out from his gas mask. His laugh, subtle and choked, resonated like a nails on a chalkboard. It sounded more like a shriek, as if a banshee were being tortured. To anyone unfamiliar with the horrible sound, it was definitely a cause to turn heads; to Everett, it just provoked a grimace. The lawyer knew exactly why the digimon made that sound. Looking over to where the Porcupamon had launched his attacks, his eyes landed on a lovely sight. Sparkmon’s shoulder had been pierced, and the rookie was badly injured. It was only a matter of moments before he and his tamer retreated. ”One down, four to go! Who’s next, kids?” Everett yelled out, taunting the surrounding opponents. It was only matter of time before everyone else would follow suit.
Clearly, the lilac fleeced fox digimon was next. He’d been hit as well, data-filled blood leaking from his face and back. ”Oh, does that hurt?” jeered Graedon in his wraith-like voice, his features remaining motionless. But just then karma struck him. Hard. From out of nowhere, he felt his life line in jeopardy of being severed. Without the gas mask, air would leak directly into his chest, and he wouldn’t be able to breathe properly. Unfortunately, the damned rookie had charged him directly, and now the forlorn teddy was stumbling backwards trying to breathe, flailing his arms in an attempt to catch his balance. He was caught off guard, his arrogance and determination of taunting his foe being his down fall. Furious, heaving in an attempt to catch his breath, he reached at his chest in an attempt to grab the black Salamon. If he caught hold of her, he would clench his grip, squeeze the breath out of her, then fling her as hard as he could directly at the oncoming Kotemon… The oncoming Kotemon!
Attempting to guard his head and torso, Graedon raised his arm in front of him to block the flaming sword. His forearm took the entire force of the attack, his skin being burned and bruised on contact. His arm began to throb, and Porcupamon let out a robotic growl. As he prepared to attack, another jab of pain pierced through his body. Jerking forward, he stumbled again as he tried to adjust to the pain, trying to neutralize the current of electricity which surged through him. Taking a moment to let his body simmer and get accustomed to the hurting, the champion digimon decided he’d had enough. He walled up, standing perfectly still like a statue. Facing his four opponents, there was nothing but silence as he stared at them, though something started to drip from his eye. Moments later, streams of putrid ooze poured from underneath the stitching of his sockets, streams of rancid pus-like liquid becoming thicker and thicker as they dripped to the ground.
Everett, watching from not too far off, knew exactly what was happening. He silently walked away as not to be noticed by the others, as not to give any hints. Head down, the man paced faster and faster, hoping he would get far away enough in time. Porcupamon’s thick waterfall of disgusting goop dripped like a leaky faucet off his cheeks and onto the ground. The thing here was, as each drop hit the earth beneath him, a cloud of thick noxious gas rose from the ground. The faster his tears dropped, the thicker and more rotten the fumes grew. Within seconds, the disgusting acidic cloud would reach a radius of 35 feet, and everyone caught within the toxic haze would suffer mild skin burns, and worst of all, they would not be able to open their eyes for as long as the gas was lingering in the air. His opponents, unless they had some sort of goggles or eye-wear which sealed, would be blind. They would now be his to destroy, for he could function perfectly through this nauseating acid gas. This attack was not without its draw back, however; since Kotemon had burned his skin, he would feel the added pain in that one spot. His skin was resistant to the fumes when it wasn’t damaged, but this was a slightly different story. Still though, a little bit of burn would be nothing compared to the merits of blinding and singeing all his foes.

Yuu saw as the creepy teddy did really good amount of damage to both Nova’s Sparkmon and Yuuki’s Dorumon and began to wonder if they could actually beat this digimon. He only surpassed the lot of them by one level, but that seemed to be just enough to level the scales in his favor. He then heard what Nova had said to him and picked both of the things he had left him. He remained calm, but inside him rage boiled wildly. So he comes, tries to be a hero, provokes the fight and then simply leaves at the first hit he receives? He hadn’t paid that much attention to the boy’s plan because it just seemed he was kidding him. Excuses, he thought. He wanted to shatter that goddamn compass, rip the map to shreds and yell at the boy who was deserting them, even though he knew that nothing would came out of his mouth. In the end, he used most of his self control and remained —mostly— calm. He then saw how Kyo’s strike seemed to have stricken the bear true and he started to lose footing, and then Kotemon’s strike, and then Chessmon’s. They were actually hurting him! If they kept doing this, they could maybe even defeat this foe! He even seemed to be crying now!
But Yuu seemed to be too distracted on the damage to notice that Kyo had received a glancing blow from the Porcupamon when he tried to get rid of her during her tackle. It wasn’t enough to draw blood, but it was painful nonetheless. Not losing her conviction, she started charging at the crying bear again, but as she drew closer to it, she came in contact with the acidic fumes, and boy, they were definitely not nice. She felt as if her entire body was being singed, but the worst of it was that she just couldn’t see anymore. But that wasn’t the greatest of her concerns. Hell, she didn’t care about what happened to herself as long as…
“Yuu-ottousan, get away from the cloud! NOW!” she yelled her tamer’s direction with urgency
Thanks to Kyo’s opportune warning and the fact that Yuu was the one farther away from the fight scene, he could barely get away from the noxious cloud, but in his urgency, he hadn’t seen if the others had made it. How he wished to be able to talk now. He felt so… useless. Hopefully Kyo was alright.
Okay, she was now deprived of her vision. That wouldn’t have been a big deal if the acid was mostly odorless, but It also stank way worse than anything she had smelled in her life. She could use her nose to get somewhere where to stench wasn’t as strong, but now, her only trustful sense her hearing. Granted, Kyo’s hearing was actually better than her sight, but she would rather have her three senses on top working conditions, especially against this creepy bear. She didn’t know what exactly was doing, but at least —she thought— she had gotten away from the stinking cloud and seemed to be nearby a bush. She knew that trying to blindly attack would be suicidal, but at least this would improve her chances of surviving until the cloud was gone and she could smell properly again. Thankfully, Porcupamon's breathing was rather loud, and maybe that would give her a chance to evade him, should he find her.
OOC: Assumin’ Porcupamon didn’t have the time to properly deal with Kyo due to Kotemon charging. If I’m wrong, just say. Usin’ Concealment.

...He thought so. He really thought the boy will finally just like that goes. Too amateurish, too brash. They can't really wait for any kind of luck this time. Yuuki chuckled sarcastically and watches as the attacks did quite number of damage to the zombie-ish Digimon. His shrill voice already scary as heck... And now, somehow the bear looks crying. One look at the purple gas that oozing out from it, then his tamer that slowly backs away, Yuuki got the idea.
"RUN! RUN FOR IT!"
That miasma, he don't know how much will it hurts nor what the effect is, but he got an idea. Quickly, he took his sister's goggles from his backpack and wear it. Yuuki covered his nose and mouth with the bandages he have. He have no idea if it'll work, but...
"Dorumon!"
The faraway beast dragon Digimon's ears perked and turn to Yuuki
"Close your eyes! I'll help you!"
It's a crazy bet, but if he don't do this, no one will came out here alive. Plus, he'll have to keep moving in order to stay alive. Three out of four will probably listen to his command... But the matter is, if he becomes too much of an annoyance, that bear might aim to kill him. At that time, he wonder if he'll be just fine...
No matter, he's already too focused in task at hand. Yuuki felt the pain... his skin burned from the acid... Dorumon had it worse. His wound begin to hurt even more. He felt like crying, but if this continues...
"Dorumon, aim your attack at three o'clock where you stand!"
The Digimon complied and shoot his Metal Cannon to the enemy.

Coughing and gagging. Wheezing and gasping. It seemed these four words have once again rose to the narrator's attention. Anyway, that's what Duffer was doing. He was so busy attempting to distract the beast he never realized what was happening on the oppisite side of where he was facing until it was too late. Perhaps seeing porcumon's tamer backing away should have been a big enough tip, but he'd only caught it out of the corner of his eye and assumed it was out of cowardice rather than a proper strategic maneuver. Trying to think quickly, Duffer shut his eyes and tried to cover his face with his shirt. of course, this left his gut hanging out and there was more skin on that than there was on his face, so he'd ended up frantically switching between his face and shirt, trying to avoid the horrific fumes that burned not only his skins and eyes but his tongue and nose as well.
Realizing his plan had failed, he did the unthinkable: He opened his backpack and shoved his head in, zipping it around his neck to serve as a kind of gasmask... problem with this tactic, as he quickly found out, was that while it kept the noxious fumes out, it kept carbon dioxide in. It takes about a minute for the human body to fall unconscious from a lack of oxygen, and three minutes for a human to suffer any massive brain damage. At six minutes, the human brain is completely dead. Combined with the amount of air in the backpack and the small holes that allowed oxygen in but none letting the dioxide out and the fact Duffer was panting like crazy... he'd have about one minute and a half before he'd pass out and five minutes before he began suffering brain damage. Of course, Duffer never realized he was in any danger of this, having slept through biology class the one time it would have saved his life.
Kotemon, however, took this a lot harder. Having no way to cover itself from the dangerous fumes, the mon had no choice but to run away, hoping its tamer hadn't done something stupid like holding his breath or covering his head in a smothering object.

Karin heard the initial scream by Kyo and followed soon after Yuu. However, to her shock, Yuuki doesn't run away. He stay on his place to face the Champion Digimon. Hesitation in proved a bit fatal. The skin of her right hand mildly burned. Knowing it's useless and would only add burden to Yuuki, she retreated after issuing an order to her partner.
"CHESSMON, DO AS YOU PLEASE!"
The puppet Digimon is eyeless, and thus, she survived from the attack. However, the matter is that her body is made of metals on certain part. While her body is plastic-y as it can be, her visor, part of the shield and spear are not. Rust formed on the surface, and she know if this kept up, she will have nothing to attack with. Quickly, she shoot Thunderbolt from tip of her spear to the higher level Digimon and retreated to direction of the boy who is foolish enough to put his head inside his bag.
This is troublesome, they need better tactic. The chess Digimon grabbed Duffer and make a run for their lives, leading him out of the gas' AoE.

He observed as his opponents began to sprawl and shrivel in the corrosive fumes. They scattered frantically, covering their eyes, trying to cover their mouths, blindly firing attacks. Porcupamon laughed loudly, creepily, his voice broken up into bits and pieces as his eerie sounds filled the nearby forest. The foes that were stuck in the haze were sitting ducks now, and entirely at his mercy. Unfortunately for them, that was something which he severely lacked.
Despite his successful maneuver, the teddy digimon winced at the fumes. He resisted the urge to shield his arm though, trying not to give off any hints as to his pain. Graedon did the best he could to mask it, but the burn became so unbearable that he pressed it against his side hard. At least this way, the pressure and the coverage from his hip would shield it a little. Still though, it throbbed every time he made a move, and soon he realized that this was something he’d just have to deal with.
Shifting his focus back to his targets, he soon realized that he was too slow; wallowing in his pain and through the commotion and panic of his nearby prey, he failed to hear one of the tamers shouting to his digimon. A metallic sphere was hurled straight into his shoulder and Porcupamon stumbled backwards, clenching his fists and tensing his body. Thankfully due to the recoil of the cannonball, he was pushed back enough to watch a thunderbolt go passed him, grazing his skin and offering a quick shock. He growled at the jolt as he jerked his arm back, but realized that the attacker was running in the opposite direction. Right now, this little draconian fox would be a problem, and he intended to finish what he started.
Porcupamon’s fists began to glow with dark matter, searing hot particles orbiting his knuckles. Three razor-tipped blades slid out from the one bare hand, the evil energy rapidly surrounding them as well. Stepping forward, the large bear swung his arms forward in an x-shape, using the added momentum of his lunge to propel his attack even more forcefully. ”Ripper claw!” he exclaimed in a broken hark. The dark matter left his fists rapidly, shooting directly at the blinded Dorumon in two large sickles, which crossed each other and maintained the X-shape. A boisterous and sickening laughter emanated from Graedon; If this hit the rookie digimon, he would be in deep, deep trouble.

Kyo tried to concentrate despite the pain. Granted, she didn’t have any exposed wound as of now, but she could almost feel her silky fur being burned. In no time, she would look exactly like a cuter Chinese Crested Dog, but without the crest. She shuddered at the thought, but at the same time that filled her with determination. She decided to make that creepy bear pay for every hair she would lost. Concentrating on her ears, Kyo didn’t have that much of a problem to hear the rather obvious sound of the bear’s raspy breathing and laughter. He was moving, so she stealthily moved too. She had to be patient if her plan was to work. She had to be patient for Yuu if she wanted to get him out of this crappy situation. She heard how Porcupamon kept moving, and fearing that he might discover her, she tried to keep all the distance she could, while still being somewhat nearby the bear. She only had to wait until the moment came… And there it was! She had clearly heard the bear’s broken voice pronouncing the name of what was most likely an attack. It was sound, clear, and most importantly, not that far away from her.
Seizing the moment, the small dog took a deep breath and leapt forward. She howled with all her might towards the direction from where she had heard the sickening noise of Porcupamon’s voice, not caring about anything else. Even though she knew that Dorumon was away, she had no idea where the other's were, so she couldn’t know exactly if there were any other bystanders on the way of her mighty howl. It had to be done though, the current situation had just turned into do or die and this desperate gambit maybe would buy them enough time if it was successful. She knew that this technique was meant to paralyze anyone caught in its radius, but this bear was digimon one level higher than her, so most likely if her attack were to hit, maybe it would confuse the bigger bear’s attack enough to give the next target of the bear’s attack a decent chance to avoid taking severe damage.
Meanwhile, Yuu couldn't see the battle because of the damned cloud. He had seen how Karin, altough not unscathed, had exited it, and wondered if Yuuki and Duffer had made it. He wanted to help, but as the way things were right now. His best bet was to wait until the damned cloud was gone and help the mons or humans trapped there the best way he could.
OOC: Kyo's using Puppy Howling under the effects of Concealment, meaning it's enhanced.

Dorumon heard the growl. When it's like this, this has turned into an ugly situation where he have to trust Yuuki completely, doing it exactly at what he commanded. His attack probably has hit... probably not. He heard name of an attack, followed by a creepy laugh. This spells trouble...
"LEFT TWO JUMP!" he heard Yuuki shout.
Dorumon quickly strafed to left twice, making sure he did enough to gain distance, but...
"GUAAAHHH!!"
Blinded and unable to perceive attack through remaining four senses has rendered him unable to perceive just hpw well he dodged. The edge of the crossed dark matter hit him on his left arm, drawing more blood on two different location, on his upper arm and his lower arm respectively. The shock from the pain made him strafed once more, slamming his right side on a nearby tree bark.
Dorumon helplessly fell on his stomach. The mammalish dragon Digimon felt his consciousness blurring. It's hard. While he have enough vitality to go on this fight, the pain made his concentration disrupted. Luckily, he has gone right out of the howl's area of effect, only to hear the horrendous loud noise that doesn't really affect him. That snapped him back to reality, but played unconscious. Secretly, he charged his Metal Cannon, turning it into Dash Metal. Hopefully with the other Digimon attacking, he can get clear shot of the thuggish Digimon.
"DORUMON!!"
Oblivious to his partner's act, Yuuki thought Dorumon for high chance won't get up until long. This is dangerous. He need to do something, but if he do it more than this, high chance the bear would target him instead. Yuuki winced as the pain affected him more.

They were fighting a losing battle, that was for sure in Kotemon's mind. The terrible beast was beating them and giving them mental and emotional scars as well. Its students were in danger, Duffer was lost in the toxic fog, tamers were dropping like flies, Digimon were being beaten to a pulp. To a normal being this would be the time to pray for help, to run like a coward, or to surrender to their much more powerful opponent... but Kotemon was far from a normal creature. Very, very far from one, indeed. Defeat was a taste none to good to this mon, and at the first hint of it's powerful flavor, Kotemon grew angry.
Shouting at the top of his lungs, she bounded towards the monster, its training sword ready... but as soon as Kotemon was about to begin the assault, Duffer's digivice began glowing and making a high-pitched squealing noise. A bright light enveloped Kotemon as the shouts of unintelligible aggression began forming four important words.
"KOTEMON DIGIVOLVE TOO..." The light reached the pinnacle of brightness, being able to be seen by anyone in or out of the cloud of smog. "GLADIMON!" Came a more echoed but just as gender-neutral voice as Kotemon's outline turned from one similar to a small child's to one of a metal ball with arms and legs. "Let's see how YOU enjoy some fumes! JAMMING POWDER!" Came the next shout and a paralyzing cloud began heading directly towards the colossal bear. If he was struck, he would be unable to move for the next turn.
Duffer, meanwhile, was obviously confused... and running out of air, as he felt Chessmon tug on his arm he had no power to fight back. Not sure what was happening, he just followed wherever whoever was leading him. The moment he felt the burning cloud leave his skin he tried to shake off the bag, weakened by the lack of air to just yank it off.
((OOC: For the record, Hellraiser is the name of the franchise. The villain you're probably referring too is called Pinhead... because, you know, he has nails pounded into his skull.))

Looking back, Chessmon realized they already on a safe enough of a place. She pushed Duffer out of the acidic gas' range, already way too impatient to save the foolish yet brave boy. She unzipped the bag and pulled it up, freeing the boy from his obviously dangerous action. But if Duffer thinks he's free from that kind of pain, he's not.
WHAP
Pawnchessmon's leather gloved hand slapped his right cheek, The small white Digimon stared at him eerily.
"...That was idiotic, what if you suffocate and die? Here I thought you humans are supposed to be smart. Without oxygen, you can die! I know you don't understand Japanese, but from my action, you understand that you're wrong, right?"
Without eyes nor mouth nor face, the Digimon's voice obviously is the only clue about her feeling. Probably for a person who's not fluent in Japanese, it's like looking at Cel** Stur***** eerily staring down at them. Chessmon raised her hand once more... but this time, instead of a slap, she patted the boy's head.
"...But that was brave. You decided to stick around your friends. I commend that, young man. Your sensei taught you well. Here, protect yourself with this, regroup with the other..." Chessmon tries to do military hand signal for regrouping as she handed her small buckler to the human boy. "Goodluck. If I still survive until the end, I'll tell your master that I was wrong about you."
Leaving the foreigner boy alone, Pawnchessmon returned to the battle. They need her help, as the only one without any problem with vision. Her defense has decreased significantly. Her spear slowly rusts away, but so what? The puppet Digimon reached Kyo's side and shoot out her lightning bolt at the creepy Digimon again as she charged.
"Miss me, Teddy?" she asked icily.

Commotion and yelps echoed in the forest as the group of Graedon’s opponents continued to suffer in and around the cloud. The bear’s heavy breathing sounded tame, virtually inaudible in comparison to Dorumon’s pain-filled cry. He snickered under his breath, watching the purple-haired foe scamper, just barely holding his composure. He was hurt badly, and for now, he was down.
Graedon grew confident that the Dorumon would hold no threat anymore; not if he wanted to live. For now, the eerie bruin would leave that target alone, for he knew that he had others to deal with. If that pest were to bother him one more time, however, he was only one hit away from being deleted, and Graedon had no moral qualms about that. For now, he-
”ACK!” screeched the hideous bear as a terrible noise filled his ears, bouncing and ringing in them with no end. He lurched side to side, then quickly spun his head to locate his attacker. That mutt, that damned gnat! Furious, Graedon turned to face the ebony dog digimon, deciding that she was his next target. Though as he zeroed in on her, he discovered that he still failed to hear, and was quickly becoming disoriented. Left was right, the ground was… up? No that couldn’t be right! Furiously albeit silently, the estranged champion blasted ten spikes all around him; three of them in Kyo’s general direction and the rest surrounding his sides and back. If anyone was behind or around him in his time of confusion, at least they would have a razor tipped projectile heading for them.
A bright light flashed, blinding the confused teddy. He fell to one knee, unable to keep a steady balance, fists grinding into the ground in an attempt to stabilize himself. He knew he was truly in trouble when he felt a ping of electricity hit his rump, his instinct to jerk away, but his body refusing to move. He was paralyzed, and he was pissed. With his chest cradled over his knee and his head hung limply down, Graedon knew that his vitals were more or less protected. But he also knew that if he didn’t regain control of his body soon, he would be a sitting duck.
”Just you wait…” he thought in vengeance.
