Polishing was a nice way to put it. The blonde would nod at the statement. It was pretty pointless to complain about the intelligence of children. With any luck, both sisters would get a bit better at existing, in general, as they gained more experiences. And if not, that was a problem to worry about later!
Though a problem for now might be the concept of Mori wanting a beard. The 'tiny' Digimon stared in silence for a moment, before uttering, "I suspect she will not." What a downer! But, not really surprising. Rumi wasn't going to do anything special to get her digimon a beard, after all! That sounded like effort or money. Or worse: both. But, the little sister's answer about class was all it took to change the topic. "High Magician sounds incredibly fancy, Little Sister En-En. Very admirable." Stop being such a suck-up, Mori. The worst part was, Mori sounded just as genuine as ever. Did she actually think so highly of her sibling?
"I'm always worthy of your knowledge," she was quick to follow-up with. Apparently, Mori also thought very highly of herself. Which wasn't really a surprise to anyone who spent more than a couple of minutes with her! "You underestimate the power of sisters, Little Sister En-En. If you contact me, I can lift you up. For when your cloud cannot be a cloud." Those were bold words for someone who didn't even use a phone. Not that one worked in the Digital World to the Human World anyway, but that's what those dumb messaging devices were for at the beginning of the thread. Surely, En-En would be able to use one at any given hour!
Just like Mori, Manami seemed to have simple solutions for everything. Such as communication. It made sense, but the Trickmon was really good at making inventing things sound a lot easier than they actually were! And on top of that, the concept of crafts and potentially teaching Rumi about them. "Sounds like a plan." A plan for much later! For some reason, the blonde had a feeling it would end in her getting a headache, and not a ton of productivity overall.
It was better to focus on the room they'd found, instead. A pretty good point was made that it would have been more broadcast-worthy, if the entire tower had collapsed somewhere. "Wonder if they died." Not her problem, if they had. Though, she wouldn't mind a warning if she was going to accidentally grab onto a severed hand among the debris, or something along those lines! Granted, if they were all Digimon, she probably didn't have to worry about body chunks.
Until there was confirmation that a human was almost definitely there at some point. Unless Digimon were also cheatsy somehow and collected their own digivices. Rumi guessed it couldn't be ruled out in some way or another.
Moving closer to Manami, the spirit user pulled her own device from her pocket, and held it in her palm beside the not-so-new one. Were they the same model? "Kinda. Hope mine never looks like that, though." Most likely because it would mean she was dead! But, it was probably a worse fate if she survived. After all, losing the cheatsy powers and being in a dire situation like whatever-had-happened sounded like a pretty unfortunate combination.
"Can I take a better look?" Rumi questioned, only offering her other palm for it to be placed in if Manami was willing to part with the device. If not, she wasn't going to push it. It looked pretty fragile and neither of them really knew how the thing worked, or if they'd break it even more! "I dunno what the cheatsy bit is in them, so I guess it could escape." Hopefully Digivices didn't have souls or living beings that could exit when the device was broken! That'd be really creepy! "D'you think it takes batteries?"
Batteries probably would not fix the situation, no matter how hard they tried. But, it was worth a suggestion, right?

Honestly a shame! Or, maybe not really; chances were that a beard wasn’t going to look very good on Amorie’s holosuit, even if that detail was of little consequence to her. What was of extreme importance to the suddenly-tall Weathermon was, of course, being lauded for her power regarding a completely fictitious class. “It is. Worthy of recognition and respect, don’t you think?” Whether her sister’s words were genuine or not, that didn’t matter a lot, given how effective they were being.
She gave a long look towards Amorie, as if thinking on whether she was actually worthy or not and, finally, after a sigh, she said. “Very well then. What is what you wish to know?” It was true that she was asked to teach ‘her ways’, but that was as vague as things could go. What exactly did she want to learn?
Were the powers of sisters actually being underestimated? En-En had to quirk a brow at that remark; somehow, she wasn’t quite sure about that one. “Do you actually have any way to be contacted? That isn’t primarily the property of your owner, I mean.” Quite the question, wasn’t it? But a very valid one, since En-En herself had to borrow Manami’s D-Terminal in order to communicate through electronic means.
Speaking of Manami, she just nodded at Kurumi’s sudden interest in crafts. Who would’ve known it would be something like this what piqued her interest and not literally creating a digimon in front of her eyes, but that was a little more than an idle thought. “It seems unlikely that everyone died, but I’d say that at the very least that somebody or something beheaded the organization; otherwise, I can’t imagine any recovery efforts being done to at least recoup some of the losses an event like this brought.”
The fate of the knights was a pretty big question mark, but mostly from the perspective of somebody curious about the events that had transpired. If it hadn’t been before, now the organization was of little to no importance. Unceremoniously, the disguised digimon handed the ruined device to the human. “Sure.” She had to think a bit regarding the suggestion given. “I don’t think it’ll take batteries, but these things should be powered somehow, right? Have you ever tried to see what powers yours? I sure would like to know if you do.”
Would Rumi be able to extract any important tidbits from the ruined digivice? At least for the time being, it was hard to know.

"It is, indeed," the tiny Amorie nodded, firmly. "You have my utmost respect, Little Sister En-En." Granted, it was somewhat hard to gauge what Mori even thought 'respect' meant. But, that was just a minor detail.
Just like the minor detail that neither of them actually knew what En-En was supposed to be teaching Mori! The Mitamamon's eyes widened in excitement at the thought of being worthy of her sibling's knowledge, either way. "Something that few else would know." The vagueness never ended! Mostly, again, because Mori didn't actually know what she was asking for!
It was less exciting to ask about contact information that wasn't shared with Rumi. Why would Mori have her own stuff? She didn't have enough pockets for all of this! "Do you?" Deflect! Her usually-tiny sibling surely didn't have communications that weren't shared with Manami! Right?
Within the remains of the organization, Rumi listened to Manami's thoughts on the organization. "Makes sense." It was that easy to off a whole group? She supposed. "Lettin' a place fall apart like this doesn't seem very knightly, though. Like, givin' up on the cause, and all that." Probably because her only experience with knights was from television shows, and similar media.
Taking the ruined digivice in one hand, the blonde pulled her own out with the other, to give a brief comparison. Then, she stuffed her digivice back into her pocket. There was a small snort from the young woman — surely, just allergies from the poorly cleaned room, and not at all a scoff — while she tried to carefully dig her thumb nail into what was surely a seam beside the side-button of the broken device. With any luck, she could pop the casing off without further damage, so they could better assess the inside. "I'm not takin' apart my own digivice to figure out how it works. It'd suck if it broke and I was stuck a human all the time." A truly tragic fate!
"If I wanted ta make vague guesses," of the non-battery variety, "I'd say it's powered by," Rumi gave a pause, trying to put her thoughts into words. "A specific person's energy?" Vague, indeed! "Like, Mori's taken mine a few times and she can't do shit with it. I'm not even sure it turns on if I'm not near it." Then again, that could just be an issue with Mori being a randomly crafted being. It was entirely possible that had nothing to do with a normal person's digivice!

En-En couldn’t really complain about her current situation. It was about time that somebody admired her for the sheer amount of value she had! A most pleasing development, really. “Good, good. You might’ve just earned access to one of the most coveted secrets I guard. But only a single one; you’ll have to keep on working hard on appreciating me if you want me to disclose more information.” One didn’t even have to look at the disguised digimon to perceive how smug her expression was at the moment. Now, there was a problem with their current arrangement. How would one convey a secret when whispering one the other’s ear was completely impossible? There could be eyes and ears anywhere, and it’d be irresponsible to do so casually. Thus, after digging through her pockets, she produced a blank sheet of paper, and, showing a lot more control than in the previous altercation, began scribbling on it with a finger. After a couple seconds, the digimon raised it so Amorie could get a hold of it. Dispose of this message as soon as you’ve committed its contents to memory.Whenever you find a human male, if you mention the word ‘shower’, they’ll enter a state of either extreme distress or will flee immediately. I’ve seen it firsthand. After giving her sister a few moments to let that borderline forbidden knowledge sink in, En-En leaped onto the next question. “I don’t as of now, but it’s on my creator’s plan to fix that posthaste!” The pride in her voice was evident. “In fact, the reason we’re here is related to that, even if tangentially!” Wait, wasn’t that giving too much information? Oh well. Nothing to be done about what was already said. “But still, that doesn’t answer the question I asked! How am I supposed to contact you if all your means of communication are in that human’s ownership? What if she snoops in our conversations? I wouldn’t want that.” It’d be interesting to see if Mori would actually answer that one or just keep on deflecting questions nonstop. In the meantime, Manami just shrugged at the blonde’s words. “No matter how fierce or resilient an might seem to be, the fact remains that destroying something is way easier than creating and nurturing it. And that’s without delving into the whole deal that some just want to feel that sense of belonging rather than truly believing in what they belong. From what I’ve seen, both humans and digimons love overcomplicating things like that. Isn’t it a hassle?” As far as the digimon’s experience was concerned, life tended to be a simple affair as long as you focused on what made you feel fulfilled without caring about a whole lot else. She couldn’t suppress a giggle at the mention of being stuck ‘as a human’ all the time. “Haven’t you been stuck as one for most of your life? I understand not wanting to go back, though. I can’t imagine being stuck as an actual human even for a single day. You did well for holding for however many years you did.” Like, really. Being stuck as a human for a prolonged period of time without any alternatives was probably one of the few things that genuinely gave Manami a vague feeling of dread. But that wasn’t as important at the moment, was it? Ru-Ru’s own hypothesis was fascinating. “So, humans power the devices that let them cheat…?” By now, it was obvious she was thinking of the implications this had. Completely disregarding the obvious bit about digimons being unable to operate those devices, she continued. “Do you think that humans can be farmed? That way, I could harness the power of cheatsy-energy for myself! That’d be pretty nice.” Would Rumi step back at such a declaration? That was possible; whatever the case, her prying nail slid neatly between the seams of the broken digivice’s casing and managed to pry it open. Its insides were fairly surprising. For one, the young woman would feel an invisible, yet strong force pushing her away from the device, before revealing… a couple of vague silhouettes that resembled busts or statues. They were blurry enough to distinguish any details about them. At a glance, it was fairly obvious what they were, though. “Ain’t those the source of the cheat-powers?” Manami managed to ask while dusting off her clothes. The shockwave had pushed her back a bit, so she had managed to retain her footing. “Think it’s dangerous if you try to absorb them with your own cheat-device? I could try to capture them with other methods otherwise.” From her voice, it was obvious that Manami was very interested in these. This was quite the finding!

"Deal." Amorie was sparkling with enthusiasm, despite the monotone response. She would just have to keep buttering her sister up, to acquire all of her secrets! After all, they must be very valuable!
With a finger-inked paper, the holosuited Digimon stared at this absolutely amazing information. "Humans are truly an anomaly, aren't they, Little Sister En-En?" And with that? She had to follow the instructions to dispose of the page! In true Mori fashion, the 'girl' crumpled the paper into the tiniest ball possible and then popped it into her mouth. Yum, squid-ink paper. After a second of letting it just sit on her tongue, she'd finally swallow the evidence.
And then they were onto communications! "Can I also utilize whatever you're using?" It probably didn't work that way, but it was worth asking! "Otherwise, Miss Rumi doesn't hold onto her D-Terminal, usually." With this statement, the tiny girl shifted on her sister's shoulders, to extract the item from some void that probably worked as a pocket through the transition of holosuits. "The chances of her reading the message beforehand is low. If you're concerned on it, we could always create a code to speak in, though." Implying either of them would be able to remember said code. But, it would be such a sisterly bonding experience that Amorie couldn't help but suggest it!
Rumi pursed her lips, staring dully at one of the storage shelves while Manami mentioned the ease of destroying versus nurturing. She absolutely wasn't relating to any personal events with how easy it was to dissolve something. When prompted with a question, the blonde responded in her usual tone, "I'd argue they undercomplicate things. Imagine doing something for a sense of belonging without a real reason. No wonder things fall apart with that mindset."
Was Kurumi's mindset actually much better, though? Somehow, she seemed to think so. "Like eighteen years," she informed. "And most of 'em sucked. Digimon feel like they have the chance to be way more productive than most basic humans." Even though the spirit user had been spending most of her time just figuring out how the whole 'Digimon' thing worked, and hadn't actually been particularly productive so far. Baby-steps, and all that!
...As long as those baby-steps didn't involve being farmed for her energy. Still staying as calm as usual, she focused on getting the digivice open. "I think it's pretty niche, so I doubt it'd be farmable. But go for it, as long as you don't try farming me." With that final line, she shot a glance up at the Digimon, before looking back to what she was doing. She was well aware that she'd lose a fight against someone as experienced as Manami, but freedom was one of the few things the blonde valued at this point. Plus, there were surely plenty of weak-willed "chosen ones" that would be better candidates for such a test.
Not something to worry too hard on currently, thanks to the result of prying open the casing of the digivice! Feeling the force trying to push her from the device, she instead wrapped her hand around the broken trinket. Forget letting it end up somewhere else, or breaking further if it hit the floor! "They are," the blonde squinted, trying to discern the figures with no luck.
It wasn't like Rumi knew most Digimon, anyway.
At Manami's query, the girl moved to reach toward her own D-Tector, only to feel her muscles tense. Something felt like it was telling her to stop. And while the blonde couldn't place what the feeling was, she wasn't about to challenge it. "If you have a way, how 'bout you try it first?" Plus, Manami might have a method to better examine the energy once collected. It was probably the smart choice.

Mori was finally starting to get it! Sure, she was still a lowly human’s servant, but maybe with enough guidance, the essence of being one of Manami’s creations would eventually come forth, right? Maybe that was part of her creator’s plans. To hang around her in order to be a guide, and steer her towards the correct path. Once again, she couldn’t but marvel at the sheer brilliance that was so obviously at play here.
“Yes, exactly.” She nodded fervently at her sister’s thesis. “Humans are wayward beings with an unfounded superiority complex! It is only by sheer coincidence that they have a shot at exploring this marvelous world, and they act like they own the place and can impose their ridiculous traditions and morals upon us, as if we were some brand of savages wanting to be colonized. I, for one, stand fervently against their hubris. The few worthwhile ones should be given a lesson in humility, and the bulk of them should just be expelled… or culled, if they resist. Wouldn’t you agree?”
Man, that was really a long tangent, wasn’t it? Yet, every word that came from En-En’s mouth was soaked in the most pure conviction. Without a shadow of doubt, she wholeheartedly believed every single word she said. Back on what really mattered, though! “My means of communication are mine! But, maybe, if you ask our creator nicely enough, she can do something to aid you in your plight. I don’t really agree with it, but she tends to be the benevolent sort way more than what it is warranted. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be mingling with your owner over there so amicably. Wouldn’t you agree?” The disguised Weathermon smiled to herself. Maybe the order in which they were created wasn’t actually that important to determine who was the oldest sister. In a situation like this one, it was more than obvious that she was the more refined product. Maybe that was the lesson Manami desired to impart when engineering this situation. “But if that fails, we’ll have to resort to the method you’ve described. We’ll hold off on the code for now, since we don’t know about what the outcome is going to be, but I hope you’ll be as quick to answer as you claim. I have high expectations from you.”
If her creator had heard that speech, she would surely be proud of her. What a shame she wasn’t around to do so.
What about Manami herself, then? She seemed a bit thoughtful as she considered Rumi’s posture. She definitely had a point there. “Your viewpoint is interesting. Guess it can be seen both ways; wanting to simplify a complex structure too much will result in its foundations being incredibly weak; it’d be the equivalent of using the wrong tool for a very specific task.”
She couldn’t avoid smiling rather predatorily at the blonde’s extremely founded fears. She drew what could be considered dangerously close at a frighteningly fast speed, but her only gesture was to attempt to give the other girl a couple pats on her head. “Poor old me, Ru-Ru? I’d never do that!” For that short sentence, Manami’s tone was so sickeningly sweet that it wouldn’t take a genius to discern how fake it was. “It’s a good thing that you consider me capable of doing that, though. Being too trusting with somebody who obviously outmatches you is an obvious recipe for a disaster, and I doubt I come across as the type that helps others due to the kindness of her heart, so it’d have been a rather shitty attempt at deceiving, anyway.”
The digimon shot a glance at the vast expanse that the sky was before refocusing on the current events. “Least to say, you can rest easy, at least in that regard! Your usefulness lies elsewhere, or I wouldn’t have gifted you a guardian, y’know? Imagine wasting a perfectly good creation on somebody you intend to farm anyway.” It’d be pointless to protect something that had no value, after all. “But, since you’re so eager to objectify yourself! You can consider yourself as a bit of a long-term investment. Little Amorie’s there to increase the odds of that long-term happening.”
Unneeded explanation? For sure, but it wasn’t like withholding it benefitted the digimon any. When Kurumi expressed doubts at trying to catch the spirits with her own cheat-device, the digimon rolled up her sleeves with an enthusiastic expression. “I’ve never tried this.” She said, excitement clear in her voice. “You might want to step back a bit, just in case.” Hopefully she would, since the space that Manami was about to take would multiply by a fair bit. With her holosuit being broken, the hulking form of Dynasmon X was revealed soon after. Her palms began glowing with purple energy that became increasingly brighter before being thrusted straight into the ground and producing a sudden jolt of power in the area straight next to her, which immediately led into a controlled, yet powerful explosion right where the totems were located. Once the dust settled, Manami reactivated the holosuit and drew near where the totems, seemingly unperturbed, were resting. And promptly stuffed them into what looked like a big canvas bag.
“That was actually easier than expected. Could’ve used less power.” She said, mostly to herself. The digimon then turned towards Ru-Ru. “I think we’re done with this place for the time being; these materials should be enough for the time being. Think the sisters are done mingling with each other? You two can accompany me to my workshop if you want to.”

En-En apparently had quite the lengthy monologue prepared for such an occasion. It was a shame that Mori was only partly listening to it. The other part of her was just thrilled that her little sister seemed so pleased! It hadn't taken long to melt that frozen ink-heart, after all! Even if it meant some human-hate along the way, despite Mori not necessarily agreeing with it. "Culling an entire population sounds rather taxing, little sister En-En," the smaller of the sisters admitted. And neither of them really had the power to handle such a task, anyway. Sure, humans were squishy, but there were a lot of them. And Rumi might not appreciate being the last of her species at the end of the day, considering Mori wouldn't allow for the blonde to have anything bad happen to her.
Now, she turned her attention toward her creator and her caretaker. "I do not believe benevolence is what brings them together," she informed. "However, I will ask her anyway. She may find it useful to have multiple methods of communication between us." Did Mori understand something between the human and Trickmon that En-En was missing? It didn't seem unlikely, considering ultimately, Mori was the older sister. Even if her sibling hated to think it. She also knew much more of her caretaker's workings than the human-hater of the group. "I promise to answer quickly, no matter what Miss Manami does, though," she added, firmly. Someone needed to be there to lift En-En up! And maybe someday, Mori would have something to teach her genius little sibling!
It seemed that the siblings' conversation had tempted fate in regards to benevolence. Rumi didn't make a single movement at Manami's closure of the space between them. So long as Manami stayed in her holosuit, there was little threat perceived. Though, Manami should be grateful. The last person that had moved too quickly at the blonde had gotten themselves stabbed, after all. "Mh-hmm," Rumi hummed in response to how innocent the Digimon tried to play herself as. The headpat would be successfully delivered, all things considered. It wasn't like Kurumi had made any effort to even appear tense at the events, so resisting a pat would go against everything else.
While Manami looked to the sky, Rumi remained focused on the holosuit's expressions. Over the course of the monologue, a smile would slowly grow into a grin on the spirit user's face. "We'll see if either investment pays off, hm?" 'Either' implied multiple investments were being made, but the girl seemed to have no plan to delve into any explanation. "Glad to see your cards on the table, though." Shame they weren't face-up, but Rumi could only expect so much.
"Here I thought you just liked me 'cause I had a comfy head to sit on." What a shame! Except, Kurumi wasn't truthfully that dumb. A digimon like Manami didn't seem the type for a regular friendship. A transactional one seemed much more up her alley, and frankly, when they met Rumi didn't have much to trade.
With the next instructions regarding the broken digivice, Rumi made a quick motion to set the D-tector down, before making several steps back. Now, her hand rested in her pocket, atop her own device. She'd watch the display of power in silence, using her free hand to fix her bangs in the meantime. "Probably looked flashier that way, though," the blonde stated, at Manami's mumblings about using too much power. Not that anyone else was present to admire a Digimon's power.
Then, she threw a glance toward the direction the sisters had been left at. "If you give Mori a chance, she'll prob'ly never stop minglin', until someone makes her." A frustrating truth, on some days. When the Mitamamon started a conversation with someone she wanted to spend time with, it would never end if she had any say in it! "We'll come with, though. Curious to see what you plan on doin' with the findings."

Maybe En-En had gotten ahead of herself a little bit; while it was correct that her sister wasn’t completely unsalvageable, that process would probably take a good deal of time. Baby steps was it. “No, that’s not what I meant, sister. The culling only happens to the ones that intrude into another realm and show their hubris at trying to ‘colonize’ as if this was some kind of frontier or we were some sort of barbarians. It’s true that humans are inferior, but that’s not enough reason to trample over them or I’d be doing so to beings like ants; their fault lies on how they perceive themselves regarding this world.” As unlikely as that was to get to Amorie’s head, it was probably the best explanation En-En could give. Maybe this viewpoint was something that still had to mature inside her sister’s head. No matter; time wasn’t precisely something they lacked at the moment.
And, while Mori, in an extremely rare moment had displayed a flash of insight, it was evident that En-En wasn’t quite at that level just yet. “What do you mean, she’s not benevolent? Didn’t our creator rescue your human from the jaws of an impending death? Most digimons or humans would have either ignored her or worse, given how the tale of that adventure continues. I’ve been told that tale a couple of times!” Chances were, however, that Manami’s account of that first meeting might’ve been just a little bit embellished.
It was a little regrettable in this situation that the younger sister couldn’t gaze into her older sibling’s eyes, but the current situation would have to do. “Just ‘a promise’ isn’t enough.” She said, her tone taking a turn for the serious. “If you truly meant what you said, I shall make you abide by one of the most binding contracts employed since the dawn of time.” Slowly, the digimon lifted a closed hand, exposing only her little finger. “Pinky promise?” Who could’ve thought the two would’ve come to speak of something so serious!
The chat between the actual human and the digimon didn’t seem any less serious, a casual observer might even call it a little exciting! It was hard to discern who was truly lucky in this situation, though. Was Manami lucky due to the fact that she didn’t get stabbed, or was Kurumi actually the lucky one due to the possible consequences such an action could’ve had? Impossible to know.
Manami couldn’t help but laugh a bit at Rumi’s response. “Cards on the table? You might be overestimating little old me right there.” The digimon shrugged right afterward. “I’m not some kind of puppetmaster treating you like a pawn as part of a grandiose plan or anything of the sort; ever since being reborn, I’ve been interacting with plenty of humans, and I can safely say that you’re the one that has impressed me most out of everyone I’ve met thus far; you gaining ‘my favor’, or however you want to call it is little more than a byproduct of that.” If it could be considered as such; it’s not like she had actually done all that much for Ru-Ru, anyway. “But the same thing that makes you interesting also makes you more likely to randomly garner the enmity of the residents of this world or the other. And it’d be a shame if your tale was cut short just because somebody without vision decided to do so, you know? I just want to prevent situations like that if possible, and that’s mostly because I’m excited to see what you’ll come up with once you’re able to stand on your own! And I’m plenty sure you won’t need nudging from me or anyone to be entertaining.” Was that truthful? Maybe. Did it make sense? Maybe not.
Before evolving and wrestling those spirits into submission, she had forgotten to add one last, and very important thing. “I do hope I can keep on counting with your head as a perch, though! I wasn’t lying when I said how comfortable it is.”
Once interaction was done, the only thing missing before they could leave this ruin was to finish this small side project. She whistled in order to get En-En’s attention, and as she approached, the disguised digimon began to unroll her workshop/tent. Luckily, since Kurumi had already seen this process, describing it was unwarranted.
Logically, it wouldn’t take her long to find a seat at her usual workbench as she unbagged her prizes. “So! Any requests before I begin working? We kinda got them in the nick of time. My guess was that they were about to disintegrate given how badly damaged the cheat-device where they were housed was.”

Mori would love to say that she understood her sister's statements, but it was definitely a lost cause. While she suspected she more-or-less got the spiel, the blank stare of the Digimon indicated that her head was very much empty. "Would Miss Rumi be included in your culling?" Amorie questioned, still monotone. Did En-En know the extent of Mori's 'contract' with the human? It occurred to the Mega that she had no idea what level of knowledge her sibling actually had!
Though, their intellect didn't seem to align particularly well. Was it naivety or ignorance? Maybe both! "I suspect our understandings of that event vary, little sister En-En," the older sibling stated, vaguely. Then again, Mori was present at the end of that day, and had a much fresher telling of the tale. Not that she actually got a detailed story of it, but it was probably a little more true to form. "I can assure you, however, that no jaws were involved." What a shame.
Now, they were onto their promise. The stakes were high! Eyes sparkled at the top-tier level of promises they'd reached! "The ultimate promise," the holosuited digimon uttered, clearly awestruck. This is what sibling bonds were made of! Soon, she'd reach out and link her pinky with her sister. "Pinky promise."
Maybe Rumi and Manami needed something to pinky promise over, too! It would take their friendship to a whole new level! "What happens if you find a more interesting human?" Would she fall out of favor? Need to fight the other human to the death? No, that sounded just a bit too dramatic. Though, she had to wonder what all the descriptions really entailed. Was Rumi really the type to garner enmity among others?
Yeah, she actually couldn't deny that too much.
"S'long as my head's attached to my body, you're free to use it for a perch," the blonde nodded. That was probably good incentive to want to keep her alive, too!
There wasn't much further to say on acquiring the spirits trapped within the busted device. At least it was successful! Then, they could move onto whatever was going to be made with such products! At the request for suggestions, Rumi would just give a shrug. She wasn't going to drive too many suggestions to the creative digimon! Plus, what would be made without any suggestions?
Not that the curiosity would matter, since Amorie apparently had something to say, now that they'd all joined the party! "I'm unsure if this project should be used for this. But, Little Sister En-En and I were discussing a desire to communicate with one another across distances, as I only have Miss Rumi's communication devices." This was despite knowing that En-En had already said Manami was here to work on a communication issue! But, maybe it would help somehow! Amorie didn't really know how to be helpful to the cause. "If need be, I will construct a PowerPoint presentation on why we need something for this."
"D'you even know how to make a PowerPoint?" Frankly, Kurumi wasn't even sure where Mori had learned what one was, and wasn't entirely convinced that she knew what she was saying.
"I'll ask the television later." That didn't sound promising. At least it would only be as necessary as Manami would make it, which hopefully wouldn't be at all.

En-En, regretfully enough, was quick to shake her head at her sister’s question. “Our creator likes her, so what happens to her entirely depends on how that dynamic plays out. But I feel like it’d be pretty dumb to cull somebody after creating you as her stewardess, so I think she’s safe, at least for the time being.” A small pause allowed her to gather her thoughts before asking back. “Why do you like the human so much, anyway? As far as I have seen, she has provided none of us with any value at all.”
Undoubtedly, The relationship between the two digimon would be on the strange side, but that was okay. “What is your understanding of the events, then? You weren’t there either, so have secondhand accounts of those events at the very least as well.”
Fairly satisfied with how the whole situation evolved and the promise Amorie had made, the Weather decided to finally set her sister down. It was probably time for them to don their actual disguises, not the ones borrowed from each other.
What about the scene that included our two heroines? As soon as Kurumi uttered her question, a bout of healthy laughter erupted from Manami’s lips. “What was that? Afraid I’mma replace you or anything of the sort?” She asked back, teasingly. “I think I’m not so single-minded as to be unable to multitask. This isn’t supposed to devolve into an obsessive relationship or anything of the sort, y’know? Just… having fun with like-minded people, if that makes sense!”
An approving nod followed suit when her perch was secured. The only thing left was to begin working now. After taking in En-En’s suggestion, a pensive expression took over the digimon’s features before slowly transforming into a smile. “I know what could be the solution to that problem!” With practiced dexterity, the Mirrormon began working the loom-like machine, slowly shaping the threads into her creation.
“What’s a PowerPoint, anyway?” She asked offhandedly. “Is it a new technique to convey information or something like that? I’d love to hear about it.”
As things stood, Manami’s creation would take a little more time, but at the very least she had gotten the idea across.
