Kuro really appreciated these three, they had not only given him a place to rest for a bit, but sound advice and something to strive for, he decided he would put some trust in them and go a bit futher on his "did he do the right thing question".
"If you don't mind I'd like your opinion on the choice I made a few weeks ago," Kuro said hanging his head a bit, "I got disowned and exiled from my tribe due to evolving into the wrong kind of agumon, the chief called me power hungry and implied I was a threat to the tribe, so I had to leave, when I went to do so, my younger brother who was still a koromon asked to join me, I told him to stay with the tribe, but now I regret it, I ..... I miss him, I made him stay to protect him but now I wonder if it was my place to deny him his dreams... to leave him with the tribe...," Kuro said with a heavy heart, a single tear dripping from his eyes as he remembered the hurt look on his little brothers face when Kuro told him to go back to the tribe.

"...love is everything." Zack said, stewing on that proclamation for a moment, looking off into the middle distance past the rising and falling crown of the crackling fire before he fully explained what he meant by it. "The people that love us? They're what keeps us going, keeps us driving, gives us purpose. There is no other grand design in this world other than to love others and hopefully to be loved by them in return. Walking the path you're walking, walking it alone? That will hollow you out and you'll only realize it after it's already happened." Zack says, giving the black agumon a warning. he didn't want to see grave, or that he was trying to scare him. He was only speaking the honest truth.
"I can appreciate you wanting to protecting him. I'm sure he understands it too. But I'm also sure that he knew what he was asking when he asked it." Marigold said. She could speak from something close to experience on this matter. She was her father's child after all, if there was anything he wanted to protect then it would be her. "My father has wanted to leave me behind before. Said it was too dangerous, there was too big a risk. I went anyway and I'll continue to go anyway because he need someone to keep him grounded, to remind him that he's not alone. If you want our opinion? Go back for him. Go home to find him. And if you're no longer welcome enough to go get him then we'll help you. But you cannot march this path alone." Marigold said, also giving him that warning. Walking an empty trail all by himself, with no destination and no one to count on? That sort of wandering ended a few ways. None of them good.

Kuro listened to quietly as Zack and Marigold's words imbedded themselves into his mind, he looked down at the fire his mind a mess of thoughts and fears. He didn't say anything for a long time, he had to make the right decion he knew it could change everything, and at bit of awkward silence Kuro stood up, his amethyst eyes glowing with an almost eerie light.
"I will go back, but not until I can become a Champion level digimon, not until I can at least meet my old tribe mates on even ground, I don't think they will let my little brother leave without a fight, and Im willing to take on the whole damn tribe to get him back if necessary I don't want to ask too much of you, but I have a feeling you want me to ask this," Kuro turned and looked Zack in the eyes, "When the time comes, can I rely on you to help me get my brother back? I can't give you anything in return, but I have a feeling that just freeing a little kid like him from a cold tribe that only cares about their value and order is more then enough for you,"

"If you DID have something to offer us in "payment" we wouldn't take it. What kind of bastards do you take us for." Zack said, smiling and pushing himself up to his feet, looking down at the little black Digimon with more than a little pride in helping him come to the right decision.
"Hell, taking on entire tribes of hostile Digimon? We actually have some experience with that, he even still has the scar." Marigold smiled and jerked her head up to point at her father, Zack could only shrug in response, she was right of course.
"Assertion: The four individuals present in a battle with an entire tribe represents incredibly unfavorable odds." Violet said, not even really having to do the math in their mechanical brain to know that Kuro referring to it as an entire tribe probably means they would be more than a little outnumbered.
"Four individuals?" Marigold said, raising her eye brows and thinking that she was correcting the little machine, almost chuckling a little at the robot getting that kind of math THAT wrong, before Zack pointed out the subtext to her.
"I think Violet is saying they're in too, sweetheart." He said, reaching down to pat Marigold on the top of the head, the little bee grumbling but unable to stop a slight heartwarming feeling at the machine's loyalty.

Kuro wiped the tears from his eyes (one at a time cuz his eyes were quite big), and gave them a determined nod.
"I honestly could never thank you enough, you people, are quite possibly the best I've ever met, I would be willing to bet the best I've met in ANY of my lives," Kuro said still teary eyed, "I'll be straight back here upon digivolving, making sure to help every solitary person I can along the way to and from, I'll take my brother back no matter the cost!"
He didn't know when the day would come where he would arrive at their doorstep again, but he knew he simply couldn't wait, there truly no better way to prove his old Chief wrong then to pound him into the ground with a group of trustworthy friends at his side, He stood up with resolve and began pacing, muttering about how he would go about gaining strength and how he would receive the necessary training.

"We're just some folks who try our best to do right by others where we can." Zack said, waving off the idea of being "the best" or anything along those lines. It would never sit quite right with him to accept that kind of praise for the sort of thing that came totally naturally to him.
"Any time, day or night, you show up at our door and tell us it's go time? Well, you might have to give us an hour or so so he can throw on some pants if you show up in the middle of the night." Marigold laughed, Zack chuckling along with her. He would always be willing to help Kuro when the time came but there would probably be a little bit of time made for preparation beforehand.
"Agreement." Violet said, though unlike most other things the little robot said it was spoken without expansion or contextualization, just in full agreement with her caretaker, they would be ready any time.

Kuro chuckled at his new friends remarks having been taken from his thoughts, he decided that he should probably get going now, there was a lot to do and plenty of time but he didn't want to doddle.
"Thanks for everything, honestly, I'm feel the urge to go now, but Ill be back count on it!" Kuro said as he prepared to leave, dusting himself off once more he once more thought over what he had learned here today, all they had talked about and what it had meant for him and his future, he wondered for a moment if he would even make it back here, the world was dangerous and he would be alone for most of this journey, but in the end he decided it was a journey he had to make. A trial by fire if there ever was one, he took a deep breath.
"Good bye, guys, and good luck on your adventures, don't have too much without me!" Kuro said with a life with as he turned to leave.
EXIT.
