Kuro had been walking for days now, having left the Backup Bayou after his last adventure, and to his annoyance had lost all sense of direction in the thickly canopied woods he now found himself in.
"Welp, I'm lost," Kuro grumbled, his stomach seemingly replying.
"Hmm yes we should have taken that left back there," Kuro jokingly replied, with a grin, it was small entertainment , but entertainment none the less.
"Grumble grumble," Said the agumon's coal black belly.
"Yes yes, I know I should have listened to oh wise consumer of the sweets," Kuro chuckled as he continued his walk.
Despite his joking, his stomach did not grumble for nothing, he was hungry and begining to tire out, he would have to find something to eat soon and he wasn't sure where to find food in these woods, this being his first time venturing into them. But as fate would have it, the digital world would provided him sustenance on this day, as the smell of freshly baked good wafted through the air, seemingly coming to him!
His stomach roared in excitement, and the Koromon in him squealed in delight, but Kuro was wary, steeling himself to meet whatever was coming his way, hoping they were friend rather then foe.

Luckily for the poor hungry BlackAgumon, that baked good smell was not in his imagination. Not too far away would be a fairly large vehicle driving through the forest, one that housed an entire bakery plus at least four beds. Sleeping soundly on one of those beds would be none other than Luneth the Hackmon, while his friend Arlo the Angoramon was on driving duty up front. It seemed to be relatively quiet in the forest... that is, until Angoramon heard a growling sound, his ears slightly twitching.
Was that Luneth's stomach? Arlo asked himself as he briefly turned around to look at the sleeping Hackmon. But that's when he heard a voice alongside it, followed by more growls. It was a Digimon nearby... a very hungry sounding one, at that. In that case, Arlo knew exactly what to do. "Luneth... Luneth, wake up."
"Huh...?" the groggy Hackmon asked as he slowly woke up from his short nap. He noticed that the bakery was beginning to slow down in that time. "Arlo, is something wrong? Why are we stopping?"
"We have a Digimon coming up," Arlo simply responded. "I heard their stomach growling from afar. We'll set up quickly and offer to sell them something. We can't leave a potential customer dissatisfied, can we?"
Luneth sighed with a smirk as he hopped out of bed. "No, we cannot. We'll be ready in just a minute."
The large vehicle would slow down more and more until it was stopped right next to the BlackAgumon. Its wheels would fold into the vehicle itself, lowering the bakery considerably. The ordering window would then open, the window cover acting as a counter that was just barely a bit too tall for the BlackAgumon, and a smiling Hackmon and Angoramon would be awaiting on the other side. "Greetings, BlackAgumon. Welcome to the Traveling Bakery. Would you like to purchase any of our baked goods today, by any chance?"

Kuro was taken aback by the friendliness of the digimon infront of him, aswell as the very idea of a traveling bakery. His stomach assured him this was naught to question and to take the hackmon on its offer.
"Hush you," He scolded at his belly, before turning his attention to the merchant, "My deepest apolgies friend, my name is Kuro, and ... as of now I am rather low on bits," Kuro scratched the back of his head speepishly before getting an idea, "Perhaps we could strike a deal if its not too much of a hassle, you could give me some of your delcious baked goods to sate my hunger, and I could work for you as a body guard of sorts for a period of time we both agree on! If you'd rather bits, I understand," Kuro said this all with a warm but nervous smile, he was unsure if his offer would even be considered, after all bits must be worth more then the work of one little BlackAgumon, but he was really hurting for bits and wasn't sure he could even buy enough to feed himself.

Luneth and Arlo blinked when the BlackAgumon tried to shush his growling belly before they both simply chuckled. They could both tell he was hungry, and the little black colored dino was being very adorable about it. It reminded Luneth of his little Gammamon brother Gem in a way, as well. "You sound hungry there, friend."
Then a slight problem emerged shortly after. The BlackAgumon, who introduced himself as Kuro, admitted that he in fact did not have enough bits to buy anything from the bakery. Had it not been for the fact that the poor little dinosaur had proven himself to be starving, Arlo probably would've decided to pack it up and leave. He couldn't leave a hungry Digimon alone in the forest in good conscience, after all. Kuro even offered to work as a bodyguard for a short time in exchange for something sweet to eat. "I appreciate the offer, but unfortunately I already have a capable bodyguard with me."
"Well, we can't just leave him to starve like this, can we?" Luneth asked his Angoramon friend.
"No, but I am running a business here. We are short on profit as is."
"Hm... then how about we don't treat him as a customer, but we just perform a selfless deed by providing him with a ride to the nearest city?"
"I like your way of thinking, Luneth," Arlo said with a slight smile, as he had the same idea himself. "Kuro, correct? Do you accept our offer? We can provide you with transportation to one of the nearest cities, as well as some of our own personal food. After that, you can possibly start looking for work to avoid this kind of situation again. What do you say?"

Kuro was taken aback by the kind geture offered to him, not expecting anyone to take pity on a broke agumon, and for a moment Kuro thought about turning them down out of guilt of taking advantage of these kind strangers. He then decided he would have done the same in their situation and his pleading stomach was very convincing. With a slight glare towards said belly, he let loose a sigh.
"Thank you very much for the offer, Im sorry to be of trouble, I accept your offer!" Kuro said with a smile before quickly adding, "Ill be sure to make this up to you in the future should we ever meet again,"
Mooching off strangers was not something the little dino very much liked the thought of, but he was not in a situation to deny the helping hand, though their mention of low profits made him feel even more guilty and he wished he could somehow help them a bit more. He decided that there wasn't any at the time but perhaps he would be able to lend them a hand should a fight break out on the way to the nearest city. With this hope in mind he prepared himself to be directed to wherever they would have him sitting during the trip.

Arlo could definitely hear how Kuro's belly was convincing him to accept his and Luneth's offer for a ride. The little guy eventually did accept the offer though, apologizing for being any trouble and saying that he'd make up for it in the future. "Just be sure to pass a good deed along to someone else who needs it, is all I ask," Arlo said as Luneth went to open up the bakery's door to let Kuro in.
"You're Kuro, right?" Luneth asked the BlackAgumon as he let Kuro inside. "I've never really seen a BlackAgumon around here before. You're not as common as Agumons are. Anyways, my name's Luneth. A pleasure to meet you." He extended his paw towards Kuro as if he were offering a handshake, a warm smile present on the Hackmon's face. There would be a certain... familiarness to Kuro, perhaps, that he would see in Luneth.
Perhaps something akin to the very Royal Knight that Hackmons would evolve into?
The bakery would go back into travel mode in almost no time at all, leaving the three of them back on the road. There was a large bed and bunk bed available for sitting or resting on, with Luneth already on the bottom bunk of the smaller bunk bed. The bigger one must've been where Arlo slept... "You can just sit anywhere," Luneth said to Kuro. "So, Kuro, where are you traveling to, may I ask? Surely, you're not wandering around the Digital World without food just for fun, right? Do you have a destination in mind?"

Kuro nodded to the affirmative. "Ill be sure to do just that!"
His attention was then given to the hackmon who had outstretched his hand, yet another memory from his previous life flashing into his mind, standing face to face with a tall white armored knight in a long crimson cloak, Kuro wondered why he would ever engage a royal knight combat in his past life but shook his head to clear the thought, grasping the opened claw and shaking firmly be accepting of sitting anywhere , sitting across from the red cloaked warrior as he was asked why he traveled.
"I was exiled from my tribe, due to being a virus, and now I wander in search of strength to prove myself as a noble hero, aswell as helping all who I come across, so far my strength has gained steadily and I didn't immediately die in a battle with a Devimon, so I think Im making good progress so far," Kuro explained with a smile as he got comfortable, this was reminding him of the time He met his good friend Zack, not more then a month ago.

Luneth blinked a bit after he heard Kuro explain his tale. "You were exiled from your tribe just because you're a virus type?" Luneth asked, the confusion oh so present on the dragon's face. "That doesn't sound right at all. I know plenty of virus types that could never be worthy of exile. Hell, my little brother Gem is a virus type, and he's one of the most precious Digimon to exist in the Digital World."
Kuro explained further about how he wanders the Digital World in search of strength to prove himself as a hero. Luneth chuckled. "That is quite a goal to have, and quite similar to mine. Part of why I travel with Arlo is to prove myself to the Digital World, spread my name out there. Perhaps even make my parents proud of me in the end."
"Even though he does not need to prove himself to anybody," Arlo said as he was driving, "and neither do you, Kuro. Remember that."
"Still, it's great that your strength is improving. Surely you must've had plenty of adventures before you stumbled upon our bakery mobile here. Explain to me more about this Devimon situation... how did that go?"

Kuro nodded to Arlo appreciably before preparing to answer Luneth.
"Well I was searching old ruins in the Back Up Bayou, due to some rumors about items that can digivolve a digimon, I came across such an item, which released the Devimon from its seal, this lead to it talking about how great it was , and such, I used this time to flee, I am a proud digimon but not a fool," Kuro said as he begun to spin his tail, "I heard an angelic voice in my head, pleading to me, asking me to free it, apparently this item could help with that, so with Devimon hot on my tail I dashed towards the digimon in peril, I just barely reached the sealed tower, blasting away an attack from the dark one, and freeing the trapped digimon, an Angemon would you believe, it Devimon seemed to take interest in my eye color before he fled, and Angemon granted me a single wish, I simply wished for every good hearted being to have a perfect day, and Angemon praised me before leaving for the heavens, I didn't find an item to digivolve but I gained a enemy and a goal to strive for,"
