We'll find a rhythm all our own Melt into it nice and slow Love ourselves away from here Your heart beating next to mine Perfect love in perfect time Watch the world, just disappearThe stage was set in the back room of a squat brick building squeezed between taller, more colorful structures that had endured years of spray paint and street art. The low lights and pendant lamps set the soothing ambient mood. A lone stool stood on the stage with a microphone in front. Behind the burgundy curtain, A.J. wrung at the sleeves of her striped sweater, twisting the material as she caught her bottom lip under her top teeth. Thoughts ranging from "What if I screw up a note or break a string?" to "How many times have you done this already? You'll be fine" raced through her mind.
After living here about one month, A.J. Cipriano had slowly assimilated into the Japanese culture, well as much as an ambassador's daughter could. She was beginning to slowly learn her way around the city, of course with the help of her escort, but one day she had stumbled upon the small hipster cafe. Walking down the street, the smell of coffee had first caught her attention [being a caffeine junkie after all], but also as she stepped in, the soft, soothing sound of murmured poetry had been the second thing to capture her. Her baby blues had skirted to the window, which proclaimed an open mic night on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Anyone who wanted to come share poetry, music, or stories was welcome. Of course, she had to ask her father's assistant if she was correct, since she was still learning the language with the help of her trusty pocket English to Japanese book. Oh and of course her tutor.
At first, she had flew home and rifled through her old song collected and even scribbled down a few things. The next day she had spent most, if not all, the morning tuning and re-tuning her guitar and picking out the perfect outfit. So here she was tonight. Her father had had a meeting at the embassy, but her mother had came along. AJ flicked the curtain back with the twitch of her wrist, crystalline orbs searching the dark room. She was pretty sure she could see the slender outline of a woman near the back, leaning against the brick wall with a taller, broader form, Henry, who was their escort, and not that her father would admit it, but personal body guard. Which speaking of her father, this whole gig had taken time to get him to say yes, but he had finally relented when he knew that both Henry and Jacqueline were going to be there.
A harried, Japanese teen jumped onto the stage, grabbing the mic with a flourished swing and brought it up to his mouth. A string of a Japanese introduction flew from his mouth, but then he relished in English, "Please welcome A.J.! She is here to share some beautiful music!"
A.J. cast a furtive glance behind her to the dark corner where a small shape sat huddled, but the teen caught the gleam of an eye and a white toothy smile that was all encouragement from the little cat Digimon. Of course it was her big moment and Patch wouldn't dare hear of staying home and missing it. A.J. nodded once before adjusting the guitar strap crossing her chest and stepped out into the light. She lowered herself onto the stool and strummed a few cords, adjusted the knobs, and strummed again. When she was sure, she strummed a quick note, then went a beat lower. The music flowed and she lower her gaze, a small smile crossing her small features. Leaning forward to the mic, she sang low and sweet, letting coffee shop, the audience, even the stage drop away.

After quite a long while in Digital World, Ryouta caught by surprise that the time barely passed... It's less an hour since he entered that station.. Assuming if he goes inside that station, then go down takes ten minutes and to reach here is just several minutes, Digital World have slower time than the human world... but is it true? Will there be a time where he have to skip days just in case?
Still, that doesn't matter right now. He said he's staying at friends', although he told his siblings beforehand that he might cancelled that (as in, coming home really late). It's still quite early, so maybe... he can totally listen to some music or hang out somewhere... not like he have any friends that he want to hang out with in particular tonight.
The black haired boy decided to listen some music. Babydmon is sleeping inside his backpack, and probably too tired to get up anytime soon.
Out of sudden, his D-3 trilled, letting him know there's a Tamer nearby.
Maybe it's time to make a new friend? He smiled a little at that thought. However, it's not the time for that. He's here for the music. The girl that now on the stage is pretty good, that's for sure! But... a foreigner, that's quite rare...

-Taaaatsuyaaaaaaa... I'm booooooowed -a voice came from an eighteen year old's living room. Letting out a sigh, the teen stood up. That little furball had been saying the same for about ten minutes, and he was getting to his nerves. Although he was very tired, for he had been unpacking the last things, Tatsuya decided that the only way to calm down his partner was to take him outside.
-Oh, fine! But quit it already, Dodomon. I swear, if you jump onto a human again just like you did with Antonio, we return home, got it? -the young Tamer warned his companion with a resigned gesture. Cocky as always, Dodomon's reply wasn't satisfactory at all. -I'm not lwistening, said something? -Dodomon asked, lying. -Don't say I didn't warn ya.
After grabbing his backpack and taking his wallet, Tatsuya thought that, just for the night, they could pretend that Dodomon was a plain toy, even if the small Fresh digimon got upset at children that stopped to stroke him. If it was for him, they would've got bitten a long time ago, but his Tamer neven allowed him to do so. -We're playing the teddy bear again, pal. So relax, you are not going in my backpack again.
Crossing the door, he pulled out the keys and locked the door. It felt strange. He had come to Shibuya to live alone, away from his parents' lifestyle, but in the end he had gotten company: someone to take care of. Thinking about all the details of his encounter with Dodomon, the teen was walking around the neighbourhood, when he heard something coming from a small building.
Damn, that music was sweet. After pausing to listen to a few notes, Tatsuya realized that it was the guitar, accompanied by a soft voice. -"Well that's pretty good. I wonder who is singing" -thought the boy. Dodomon, on the other hand, was louder on his thoughts, speaking them to his Tamer: -Hey hey hey, what is that? It feels vewy good on my eaw. I like that.
Tatsuya laughed: he had forgotten that Dodomon was still a baby, even if he wasn't innocent at all. -Well, that's called music. It's one of the best things in Earth, I mean, the Human World. Dodomon started looking towards the building. He did not want to ask anything to Tatsuya, proud as always, but the little Digimon definately wanted to be closer to the source of that sound that filled his ears and made him feel at ease. Reading his mind, the teen directed his steps towards that place.
As he entered the building, he took notice of the crowd. They were all to busy paying attention to the female singer, who seemed to be rather short in height, but nonetheless sang very well. As he entered, his occidental features heavily contrasted with those of the japanese public that were watching that girl sing. Good, that meant Dodomon could see it as well.
Lifting his partner slightly, so it wouldn't be seen by the singer, Tatsuya also relished on the beautiful music. She put her feelings into her singing, that was for sure.

The words flew past her lips. Sometimes fast. Sometimes slow. Her fingers slipped over the cords, her left running up and down the length of the instrument while her right remained steady yet flickering. Time seemed to stop all at once, but once she let out a final breath and slid her hand down in a final, sorrowful strum, A.J. felt almost thrust forward back into reality.
A.J. blinked her baby blues, the lazy, surreal feeling slowly draining away from her brain. She flicked her gaze across the audience, once again catching her lip under teeth in nervous anticipation. It didn't come all at once, but the soft clapping that emanated from crowd allowed her shoulders to slump in relaxation. She released her lip and sighed. She smiled softly and bowed, gathered her guitar and slipped quietly behind the curtain.
As she crossed into the backstage area, she felt a hard impact on her chest, causing her falter slightly and gasp for breath. The teen scrambled to hold what had flew at her. The soft fur underneath her finger tips confirmed it was Patch. The little cat-like Digimon nuzzled it's head affectionately underneath her chin, then glanced up. His amber eyes glinted mirthfully and he purred.
A.J. smiled and hugged Mikemon closer. They had become incredibly close in the last month since he had come into her life. While at first she was apprehensive of her new title as Tamer, or rather she deconfirmed the title and just confirmed that he was her friend, not really a partner, she was adjusting rather well and really didn't know what her life like would be if he hadn't happened upon it, or rather if she hadn't have happened upon his DigiTama back in the alley.
"You did amazzinggg! You were purrrfectt!" he embelished, his throat vibrating in a raspy purr.
A.J. laughed. "Thanks Patch, but I think you're exaggerating a bit. I think I did okay, but not perfect," she replied, trying imitate his purr, but not doing too well.
Their moment was interrupted abruptly as the curtain flickered back and two forms approached. A.J. tightened her arms around Patch, a sign to play as a toy. The Mikemon went deathly still, eyes unblinking. He was so good at it that at times it alarmed the Italian teen. A.J. felt herself gathered into mother's arms and pressed forward, in which Patch did make a slight hiss, but that her mother noticed with her gibbering.
"Oh my little girl is quite the rock star! You had a standing ovation! You had the crowd going wild!"
A.J.'s crystalline gaze floated over to Henry, who just shook his head and cast the mother and daughter duo a rueful smile. After A.J. was able to extricate herself from her mother's hold, she smiled sheepishly and scratched the back of her head. "Mom, it wasn't that great. It was a new song, and plus, I'm still rusty." Since arriving in Shibuya, getting settled, and finding Patch, she had barely had time to take care of him and continue on her homework, which may or may not have been slipping.
A beep to her left caught A.J's attention. After the course of a month, she had begun to distinguish this particular alert from that of her phone, which was a bird chirp. Shifting Patch's weight, her hand fell down to her right side, where her D3 was attached to her pocket, but she knew better than to take it out in the presence of her mother, who an ever flowing stream of questions. "Hey, I'm gonna run back here and schedule my next gig, or see if I can. I'll catch up in a few."
Jacqueline nodded, saying she and Henry would be waiting outside. A.J. loosened her grip on her Digimon so he could scale up her shoulder. Pulling out the D3, she blinked at the little emblem. Strange, this was new. But, with this device, she was finding out all sorts of functions. "Do you know anything about this?" she asked, glancing at Patch.
He cocked his head in a very dog-like manner. "I think that means there is another Digimon nearby. Actually there are two!" A.J. felt something clench in her stomach. The last time her Digivice had alerted her to a new Digimon, they had been surrounded by Gazimon at the mall, in which Patch digivolved from Nyaromon to Mikemon, his rookie form. "I can sense something, but I don't think they mean any harm. Actually, they feel pretty low-level. Wanna check it out?"
A.J. knew even if she said that she was ready to go home, Patch would drag her along. She gave a slow nod and headed out the door that led to the lower audience part. She scanned her crowd from the corner where the doorway stood, looking for any indication of a Digimon. Not seeing anything, she allowed herself to step up to the small coffee bar to the side and ordered a spicy vanilla cappuccino.

Now there's two. That's sort of odd... The D-3 trilling a bit faster than before, as expected that there's now two Tamers nearby... However, looking at the current wave, it's rather impossible for him to figure out which one with the Digimon afterall. Babydmon inside his backpack shuffled about. Concerned, Ryouta unzipped it a bit.
"What's wrong?"
"Mmm, nothing, I just thought the voice was really nice, so I'm sort of curious..."
"...Ah, sorry partner, the show has ended."
"Oh really...? Too bad... Sorry, I'm off to sleep again, ok...? Can you zip it again...?"
The small seahorse-like Digimon yawned and settled himself on Ryouta's memo book. The crowd would probably scares him if he got out now. Now that the show has ended, he really need to figure how to silence this thing before someone angrily told him to silence it... Seeing that the nearest signal coming from the crowd, it's impossible to figure out. meanwhile, another signal came from the bar nearby. That one seem to be more viable.
He followed the red beeping dot to the small coffee bar. ...Erk, coffee... he can't handle the bitterness... He quickly ordered a milk tea with hazelnut. Ryouta hoped that the D-3 will stop trilling soon... it's getting noisy.

Tatsuya and Dodomon kept listening to the whole song until it ended. As the girl sang, the teen took the chance to get a better look at her. She seemed kind of young, a few years younger than he was, so she was most likely between fourteen and sixteen years old. Small, thin build accompanied by black, long strands of hair that fell past her shoulders, coupled with two wide blue eyes; although he could not discern the exact colour from afar. Her skin was tanner than any Japanese's, which meant she was not originary from the islands, just like himself.
What really drew his attention was her way of playing. Although she was going along with her singing, her notes were slightly sorrowful. He shook his head to get those thoughts out of his head, and decided to just chill out and enjoy the show, while looking at his partner. Dodomon was astonished: it was the first time he heard music, and it was clear to everyone that he was enjoying it, although the little Fresh digimon would never say that aloud, proud as he was. His big yellow eyes glowed brightly as the music filled his cat-like ears.
Since the music filled the area, there was no way for him to know that his Digivice was beeping constantly, trying to tell him something. That would have to wait until the end of the concert, though: they had gone there to do something entertaining, to relax, and to forget about the boredom of routine. All the japanese were silent, listening to the lyrics of the song brought to them by the young female teenager. With one last stroke of the chords, the sound ceased, followed by the typical round of applause. After they ended clapping their hands, Dodomon teased his Tamer.
-I bwet you can't do thwat. -I could, but you wouldn't like to hear, that's for sure -the eighteen year old laughed, but suddenly realized about the beeping sounds in his pocket. Using his free hand, he grabbed his D-3, which emitted a series of beeps while signaling two red dots around a blue one.
Dodomon's reaction was faster than Tatsuya's question about what could be going on.-Digimon. Neawby. I'm going to bweat it. -What? There's nothing here, don't you see -the teen said, convinced, but soon to be proved wrong as the singer went towards a small cafe bar located in one of the sides of the small construction. On her shoulder, there was a cat-like creature. Dodomon growled.
-Grrr... I knew it... -the Fresh level tried to break free of his Tamer's grip to go attack it, but Tatsuya was already expecting that reaction. -Look, let's go check on it. But do no attack him, understand? You always get in trouble whenever we go out, so please, stay put this time, ok? -Don't give me owdews... I won't follow them -the tiny Digimon muttered, stubborn, but decided to play along for the moment. Without hesitating, Tatsuya approached the girl while checking the device. Yep, it definately meant "Digimon nearby", as that thing on her shoulder seemed to be no ordinary toy and Dodomon was nervous around it.
Sighing at his partner's attitude, the teen sat next to the girl, ordering a cup of coffee. Just as the waiter went away, he pulled Dodomon from under the bar, while looking at the girl who was going to become his new acquaintance. -Hey. Nice singing out there, you managed to attract Dodomon to this place. I'm Tatsuya, by the way... and you two are? No need to play the "just-a-toy", at least for now, because it seems they aren't paying attention to us-Tatsuya said, both to the girl and to his own partner, who was still growling slightly.
-Don't mind him, he is always like that... -he sighed with a slight smile while looking at the younger teenager while holding Dodomon tight.

A.J. blew a breath of cool air across the steaming liquid before she lifted it to her lips. She sighed softly as the warm drink traveled down her throat, relishing some of the pre-show jitters she was still experiencing.
A jostle of movement to her left and in her peripheral vision caught her attention, but she just figured it was someone sitting down at the bar to order coffee. It wasn't until she voice drifted her way that she looked. A young boy, still probably a couple of years older than her, was addressing her. She guessed him to be about 17 or 18, maybe 19. There was certain masculinity to his voice and face that the teen didn't seen in boys her age, but she could still be wrong.
-Hey. Nice singing out there, you managed to attract Dodomon to this place. I'm Tatsuya, by the way... and you two are? No need to play the "just-a-toy", at least for now, because it seems they aren't paying attention to us-
When he complimented her music, she smiled. "Thank you," she replied around the lip of her cup as she brought it to her lips for another sip. She blinked when the second part of his address settled in. It was strange to have someone approached her and compliment her work. Someone who wasn't her mother or Patch, who she felt really only complimented her because of the "have-to" factor.
That was when the growling caught her attention. She started as she stared down at the dinosaur or lizard like creature sitting in his lap. That's when it clicked. This boy hadn't just approached her to give her praise, but because he had sensed she was a Tamer. She sighed. So this was one of those dots that had appeared on her D3. Well, she had probably been a dot on his as well.
She smiled ruefully. "So you have one as well?" She grasped Patch and brought him down from the perch on her shoulders to her lap. The Mikemon wiggled, leaning his upper body towards the Dodomon as the boy had called him. Patch narrowed his amber eyes and hissed, but A.J. just ignored it. The objective sound did not have as much malice as she had heard before. Actually, his tail swayed playfully and he gave a fanged grin at the baby Digimon before sticking out a pale pink tongue. "Well, I'm Avery, or A.J. really. This is Patch. And you?" she inclined her head. She sent up a silent thank you that this boy spoke English, but then her train of thought switched to the other dot that had emanated from her Digivice. Somewhere out in the crowd was another Digimon.

Ryouta's D-3 stopped trilling at last, showing two dots right to each other with his own located on the center, near enough to them. The black haired boy glances around his surrounding... err... where, where...
And his eyes suddenly landed on an oversized cat that seems too realistic to be some doll. The owner was the girl that singing on stage back then. According to his D-3, that's where the two dots are located... which mean, the one talking to her right now is also a Tamer? His eyes landed at where two Digimons interacting... Seem the one with purple fur is trying to act tough while the one that looks like oversized cat is the stronger one.
"...Hmmm..."
He decided to approach them. For one reason or another, he's thankful to Karin for teaching him some advanced level English. Still, the problem is...
"Uh... Hi. May I join you... two...um... talk?"
His English is too thick with Japanese accent. Not helping that it's rather choppy because of he doesn't really have anyone to talk with in English when he moved out. The boy lamented why the heck won't he tried harder in learning the language, or at least begged his mixed blood friend to give her cell phone number to help him learn more.
Just as he about to talk again, Babydmon inside his backpack yawned, barely loud enough to be heard.

Tatsuya smiled as the girl thanked him for his small compliment. After having introduced themselves, now it was the singer's turn to tell them her name. The truth was the interaction looked funny, as Tatsuya was roughly 40 centimetres taller than her!
-I'm Avery, or AJ really, and this is Patch -she said, putting her Digimon on her lap just as Tatsuya had done a few moments ago. The eighteen year old looked at her again. -Well, nice to meet you, Avery. That's one nice name. I think I'll call you Ave, though... You aren't from Japan, aren't you?
Dodomon kept growling at the human and the Digimon, but to his surprise, the digimon Avery had named as Patch hissed at Dodomon. This made the little Dodomon revolve more violently, trying to jump at Avery's partner. Tatsuya put his right hand on his mouth, blocking his voice, so nothing but a mumbling was heard. -Mmphfmphfffhhhmh?! -"You want a fight?!" were the words the Fresh-level was trying to spit.
His Tamer sighed, then looked at Dodomon and Patch with a tired look. -Oh god... Don't mind him, he is always like that, trying to pick a fight with everything since he hatched. I have him under control don't wo- Geez,Dodomon! Stop biting me! -the tiny furball had started munching Tatsuya's fingers again in a futile attempt to free himself. Interested, Tatsuya took out his Digivice and pointed it at Patch.
Soon a small flash beamed, and the Digivice started showing descriptions and photographs of the same Digimon Ave was holding. -Let's see what it says... "Mikemon, Demon Beast Digimon. Rookie level, Data attribute". See, Dodomon? It's a rookie level, and we've only got to In-Training. Remember what Antonio said? You have to be friendly, dummy.
Dodomon managed to speak once again. -So? We bweat Stweamdwamon and he was Wookie level. -Yes, but we were defending ourselves. I don't want to attack any random person we cross words with! -Tatsuya scolded his partner, as the latter looked away while silently imitating him while putting a stupid looking face.
It was then when another voice, much more timid than the teen's, made him tilt his head to a nearby seat. A rough English sentence had been pronounced by yet another teenager, whose features made Tatsuya believe was roughly around Ave's age. "Uh... Hi. May I join you... two...um... talk?"
At first, he was alerted, grabbing Dodomon. However, he heard a yawn coming from the newcomer's bag, which could only mean... another Tamer? Still, he had to be careful. He didn't want the world to know he had a talking creature on his lap, but luckily the crowd was paying attention to the next part of the show. -Sure, man, the more the merrier!. My name is Tatsuya, Tatsuya Kazan. And you are?

A.J quirked a dark eyebrow when Tatsuya announced he was going to call her Ave even when she introduced herself as A.J. Well, maybe she should have explained that her middle name was Joel, but either way it was nice to make a new friend. Especially if they knew a bit about the new world she had been thrust into. The little purple ball of fur in Tatsuya's lap still continued to make a commotion, even notching it up a bit when Patch hissed.
Patch laughed and continued making funny faces at the Dodomon. Just then they were approached by another boy, probably closer to A.J's age than Tatsuya was. Tatsuya smiled and welcomed the boy, as did A.J. "Nice to meet you. I'm A.J." A small sound coming from the boy's backpack alerted the Italian teen that there was something living in there. Well, it was probably a Digimon and it would come to no surprise to her. She had kept Patch in her backpack when he had been at the In-training level, as it seemed many Tamers did.
The boy's broken English indicated that he must have been of some foreign descent. Was he Japanese? "Yes, you're welcome to join us. We're, uhm, just hanging out."
{sorry for the crappy post. Heading to work. ]

"Thanks... eh, uh... I'm... Noguchi Ryouta. You can... err... call me Ryouta." Seriously, struggling with words is not cool at all, but he can't help it. For Japanese, English is one hard subject afterall. Not helping that the general class' English seem not practical for daily conversation. He only can reach this level thanks to a certain blondie of a friend.
"Err... sorry... broken English... kind of... not used to... speak... much English."
He's really hopeful someone would start to talk to him in Japanese. This is really troublesome. Still, because the other two have their Digimon out, it's a common courtesy to have his out, too, right? He put the bag on the counter and nudged it softly.
A sleepy groan came out from it. The in-training Dragon Roar member must be quite sleepy... Well, not surprising considering he just born today of all thing.
"Babydmon, are you going to just like that sleep or introduce yourself to new guys I meet first?"
"...Introduce..."
Compelling his request, Ryouta unzipped the bag slightly, enough for the mini dragon to pops out his head out. The sleepy dragon waved it wispy tail.
"G-good evening..." it yawned once more. "I-I'm called... Babydmon... Pleasure to know you..."
Using his broken English, Ryouta repeated what Babydmon said to the other two. He hoped that it'll be enough for introduction at least.

OOC: I assume Avery does not know how to speak in Japanese due to some details in AJ's posts. Please correct me if I'm wrong! (either ICly or OOCly).
It seemed that the newcomer had trouble expressing himself in English. That would be a pity, because it seemed that Ave didn't know how to speak proper Japanese as well, due to the p... Then he was the only one with knowledge of both languages? That would difficult the communication between the three of them, but it seemed that the new teenager wanted to approach and participate in the conversation as well.
Thanks... eh, uh... I'm... Noguchi Ryouta. You can... err... call me Ryouta -he had introduced himself, followed by waking up his partner and unzipping his bag, creating enough space for a new Digimon to pop his head from within, shyly introducing himself to both humans and digimon as a Babydmon, another Digimon Tatsuya had never seen before, but yet again, his journey as a Tamer had just begun.
Just as Dodomon and Patch took their discussion to another level, the former detected the newcomer and immediately turned to him with angry eyes. It seemed that, unlike his Tamer, strangers were no possible friends, but enemies. -I dwon't like you! Go into youw bag again! -said the furball to the Dragon-like Digimon. Immediately after, Tatsuya spoke as well to Babydmon's Tamer in perfect Japanese.
-As I said, don't care about him. He is not in the mood... oh wait, he is never in the mood to meet someone new. I don't like shifting between English and Japanese when talking because then, either you or Ave won't understand entirely, but it's certainly better than not talking at all.
Tatsuya then looked at Avery, roughly summarizing what he had just said and translating it into a short sentence in English. After doing so, he realized that there were no feelings of jostling in his hands. Surpised, he looked at Dodomon, who seemed to be looking to the young girl, and then away. Now that was odd. He hadn't seen his partner acting like that before.
-Hey, Dodomon, what is it? -he asked. The young Digimon immediately answered, nervous. -It's nwothing.
Ignoring him, he went back to the conversation.
-So, you both are Tamers, right? How did you meet your Digimon? Because I was hell of surprised when a giant egg popped out of my computer screen... Maybe that's why this guy turned out this way? -the eighteen year old said, pointing towards Dodomon with a tilt of his head.
The Fresh Digimon didnt seem to hear his Tamer, as he was focused on Avery. In a quiet voice, he finally decided to speak his mind out. -H-hey... That thing you did, music... can you do it wagain? -Dodomon said timidly, looking away yet another time.

[@tatsuya: It's okay! Yeah, she knows a little from her lessons with a tutor and an English-to-Japanese dictionary, but still not as much as Tatsuya. I can write that she is speaking a little, but it will of course be broken xD]
As Ryouta introduced herself, she could sense the hesitation he had in speaking, even when he went on to explain that he knew very little language. Of course, A.J. could sympathize. She had been the foreigner many times, especially now. This was her first experience in an Asian country and as of now knew very little Japanese, but she was learning.
A small head popped out of the boy's backpack.A.J. blinked and peered closer at the tiny Digimon, of course which Patch turned his interest towards as well. The Dodomon on Tatsuya's lap seemed to have found another target for his aggression. Seeing these younger Digimon reminded A.J of how cute Patch had been when she found him. Of course, it didn't take long for him to go from a YukimiBotamon after she fed him once to a Nyaromon. And of course there was in the encounter with the Gazimon where she had been in trouble and he had Digivolved. Yet, as of lately, there had been no recent changes, and she hoped he would stay this way.
Patch growled a little. "Maybe you should be a bit nicer and pick on someone your own size." A.J. rolled her eyes and sighed. What Patch didn't realize was that he was the biggest one here so Dodomon and Babydmon were actually the most similar in size, give or take some.
Tatsuya spoke in Japanese to the boy. A.J. was able to catch a small amount, but he turned around and reiterated for her anyways. A.J. nodded. The communication would be somewhat difficult. but she would try.
"I understand a little, but very little. I apologize." She spoke towards Ryouta.
When Tatsuya addressed the question of how they met, A.J. decided it would be easier to answer in English. "Well, it was kind of weird. I had a phone card and when I tried to activate my phone when I came to the country, a weird message popped up on the screen. A message asking if I was ready to come find someone. The next morning, my Digivice was where the phone card was and there was an egg. I guess I just kinda knew I was supposed to go find Patch. Actually, I found him on this street in an alley a little ways down. But he didn't come out of my computer." Turning to Ryouta, she questioned in Japanese, "What about you?"
A.J. blinked down at the Dodomon. "Oh you mean my music? Uhm, yeah I guess I could do that again. Is that what you want? You want to hear again?"

"It's... OK, I understand... people's talk... more... than... what I talk." the black haired middle schooler assured, although he's not sure if he could get the message across that he understand more than what he can speak. The teenager was thankful that this guy, Tatsuya seem to be fluent in Japanese. Because he spoke English so fluently, Ryouta thought the older boy must be a Nisei from other country and that he's not that fluent at Japanese...
"Thanks for that. My English is really rusty since I never had the chance to polish it in these three years..." Ryouta explained.
Babydmon seem hurt from the snappy fresh's attitude and retreated back to the backpack, sniffling a bit. As much as Ryouta want to reprimand the purple furball, doing it would be immature of him. It's like a parent scolding another person's child just because he doesn't want to be friends with his/her child. He calmed himself down and tries to stroke his partner through the bag, hopefully calming it down.
"Well... I'm a Tamer, yeah... I myself got Babydmon last night... curiously, roughly at different time yet also today, two of my friends became Tamer, too... One of them have... um, bigger version of this Dodomon here. Dorimon, was it? Yeah, Dorimon. As for how I got him, his egg just laying on my table...with this," he raised his silver-white D-3... "and this," he raised his D-Terminal.
"Sorry for not speaking English, but... talking... like this... is... hard." he apologized.
"About that..." suddenly, Babydmon pokes his head out again. "I'm not really clear about it, but... it's said Digimon reborn once they died... so perhaps that Dodomon somehow have a bad past life or something... I myself, are totally new... so I can't really relate..."

Almost immediately, Patch scolded Dodomon for messing with the Babydmon earlier, saying that "he should be a bit nicer and pick with someone his own size". The furball looked at Ave's partner as if it was dumb. If he was the only Fresh level there, not to mention the smallest of the three, how was he supposed to do what the Mikemon told him? Ignoring that fact, Tatsuya turned his attention to Avery once again as she told them her story with the cat-like Digimon.
-Well, it was kind of weird. But he didn't come out of my computer -she finished. Now that was a nice story, thought Tatsuya. So she wasn't from Japan, as he had expected.
-So you aren't japanese. I knew it. So, are you on holiday here or have you recently moved into Shibuya? Also... -he leaned towards the bag-Babydmon? Don't mind him, boy, and come talk with us. Don't be afraid of Dodomon, I'll scold him if he is a prick to you again.
Hoping the dragon-like Digimon would join them, the eighteen year old turned to Ryouta, who told his story about his encounter with his parnter. It seemed that they had met the day before! Now that was amazing. He also said that a friend of his also had a Dodomon, which sparked Tatsuya's curiosity. So there was more than his Dodomon? He thought that those creatures were different from each other, but it seemed that they were no different from Earth's animals except for the fact that they possessed intelligence.
After Ryouta ended talking, Dodomon tried to catch Avery's attention once again by answering her last question. -Y-yes... I like youw music... Can you do it agwain? -he muttered. -Dodomon, if she doesn't want to sing, don't get angry, okay? Sorry, Ave, but you really got him earlier. I mean, I've never seen him asking favours to anyone, not even me -Tatsuya explained with a slight smile to the fifteen-year-old girl.
