Shi rubbed his shoulder a bit as he walked through the halls of the school, the top floor at the moment. It was after school for now but Shi had forgotten to grab something from upstairs. checking his arm he seemed to be mostly healed from his little endeavor in the digital world though it would be quite a while before he was back to 100%. He promised his mom he wouldn't go back until he was healed so hopefully it didn't take too long before his sprain was fully healed. Every day here was seven over there so he couldn't afford to wait too long or he might lose the trail of whoever that fused digimon was that kinda sorta kidnapped his partners. Rubbing his arm Shi sighed annoyed at his own powerlessness in this situation.
Even if he could go there what was he going to do? He was going in completely defenseless. While he was pretty sure 'Yuya' as he was calling himself wouldn't hurt him other digimon probably wouldn't share the same feelings about a human in their world. Sighing for a moment he hung his head a bit low before hearing someone call out to him. "Hey Shi! Wait up!" Turning around Shi saw the face to the voice, a classmate that Shi had sometimes worked with. Daichi he was pretty sure his name was. Shi idled in the hall as he ran up remarkably fast towards him. "Been looking all over for ya! I saw your sister crying, something about her older brother being lost or something. Thought I'd check on you."
Older brother? Oh she must've been referring to his partners, she did see them as older siblings while they were around. But Shi had to come up with a lie or something to throw him off. "She's always worried I'm gonna get lost on my way home, I'll make sure to call her and tell her I'll be fine." That was a good lie right? Apparently not cause Shi could tell by the look on his peers face he didn't believe it one bit.
"Right... Also I've been meaning to ask but what's with the injuries? Two visits to the hospital and now a sprained arm? You aren't doing anything shady are you?" He had been asking Shi quite a bit lately about stuff like this, he was pretty sure it was just because he was worried but Shi couldn't really tell him about the digital world stuff.
"It's just a sprained wrist, I hurt it while drawing. Got a little too lost in the moment." That was another lie, Shi never hurt his hand before. He was quickly getting backed into a corner but as Daichi was about to ask another question they both heard a loud noise on top of the roof.
Looking at each other for a moment the two of them went over towards the stairs heading for the top of the roof, no one was usually up here after school so hearing something was a bit odd. The door was unlocked for some reason and Shi walked through it.... Just to see a Blue Agumon standing on top of the roof. Quickly Shi slammed the door in Daichi's face for a moment holding it back with his body.
"Shi!? What the hell man! What's up there. Open the door!" He shouted pounding at the door trying to get it open. He was definitely a lot stronger then Shi but he managed to hold the door closed against his weight.
The Blue Agumon in front of him seemed to get scared by the sudden loud noise, leaping a surprising amount into the air and falling on their knees obviously frightened by the sudden noise. "It's nothing Daichi go away!" Shi lied through the door trying to figure out what exactly was going on.
"YOU ABSOLUTELY SUCK AT LYING!" It was sadly true. Though all this noise was probably gonna attract someone to the top of the stairs to see the star of the track team banging on the roof door.

Blackjack and Harmony were wondering the halls of the school soon meeting up with each other since Blackjack could actually be left on his own so he had most of his classes separate from his twin sister. This day was their first day at this school and unassuming but that was about to change as the sound of banging caught their attention. It was faint and barely audible to disguised digimon like the Cardmon twins.
Blackjack and Harmony looked at each other as if thinking the same thoughts as they followed the sound it getting progressively louder until they came up to the staircase that led to the roof. Curiosity driving the pair they made their way up the stairs the banging not bothering them all that much. Soon they spotted a teen pounding on the door and Blackjack approached the young man before he said "Hey there. What's with all the banging? You're going to attract a member of the staff at the rate your going." As he spoke he stepped between the teen and the door blocking the guy from trying to force the door open before leaning on the door with his arms crossed and a roguish grin spread across his face.
Meanwhile Harmony was more curious of what was behind the door to cause the loud banging in the first place as she looked at the teen male and asked "Is there something going on up there? If there is you should of informed a teacher or something instead of trying to wake the dead."

Hearing someone come up Daichi looked over for a bit hearing them mention attracting a member of the staff. "That'd probably be ideal at this point!" However what the stranger getting in his way seemed to not realize is a dude banging on a door and sliding into the way between said teen and door almost lead to Blackjack getting a smack across the face, thankfully Daichi managed to stop himself in time pulling back. "Whoa, be careful there man." did he want to get accidentally bopped or something.
"Sorry it literally just happened, I was with a classmate and we heard a loud bang on the roof so we came over to check it out and the second he steps through the door they close the door in my face!" It was probably pretty easy to understand why he seemed a bit upset at the moment.
"Like I said, everything's fine just go away whoever else is there." A quite emotionless voice came out from behind the door, it was still being blocked.
"Yeah see, that right there. He has also been acting super odd lately so I'm a bit worried if I'm honest." He didn't know Shi too well but this was all too odd to let just slide by. "Especially what he'll do on a roof in the time I can go get a teacher, so mind giving me a hand opening this up?" Might as well try if they were going to be in the way, after all Shi might be able to block Daichi but he definitely couldn't block all three if they all tried at once.
Meanwhile the blue Agumon seemed to regain their composure taking a small breath before looking around and seeing Shi, a human. "Oh you're, ahh the human I've been looking for!" Well that was a very nice coincidence. Thankfully she was far enough away from the door so only Shi could hear her.
"Talk later, hide now!" Shi muttered under his breath so hopefully those through the door couldn't hear him. Thankfully the SnowAgumon took the hint and rushed off somewhere else on the roof for a moment.

Blackjack didn't even flinch as he was almost bopped in the face by Daichi. After the teen told the disguised Cardmon to be careful, he said "I plan on doing so from here on out."
"Wait. What do you mean a sound on the roof?" Harmony asked before she felt it and glanced at her twin Blackjack who was no longer leaning on the door but was looking at it. It was obvious that without saying anything that the twins could definitely feel an unknown digimon on the roof. That explained why this person's classmate shut him out especially if the said classmate was aware of digimon.
After the emotionless voice said everything was fine both siblings appeared doubtful as digimon on the roof of a school could potentially cause major trouble. Even more so if this digimon lacked a holosuit to disguise itself. Blackjack looked back at Daichi when he asked for help opening the door and said "Sure no problem." He then grabbed the knob of the door before pulling to open it. Since he and Harmony were digimon his older sister didn't need to also be pulling on the door as well. Yet he still held back his strength so as to not appear suspicious. Soon he was able to creak the door open before poking his head through the door seeing Shi and the other human seemed physically fine. He could still sense the digimon though he couldn't see it at the moment.
"See anything?" Harmony asked as she made her way forward only to trip over her own two feet falling into her twin brother sending them tumbling through the door and onto the roof.
"Smooth move, Sis. Why did you have to have two left feet?" Blackjack said with a groan as his sister got off of him.

Well that was a tad bit odd, Daichi figured people would be a lot more worried about almost getting headbutted but considering what he said after maybe the shock just got to em or something. "It was a sound like something being bashed against the ground, might be some bullies or something picking on a kid outta view. Don't really know for sure." It was hard to tell just from a sound alone.
Shi had been able to hear what was mostly going on, so instead of sitting in front of the door Shi stepped to the side and pretty much just let the door be opened seeing as he had no way to stop it without looking extra suspicious. Hands in his pockets Shi reached over and opened the door himself. "Alright fine, if you wanna come up that badly." Shi said feigning sounding annoyed for a moment.
Watching the two of them fall onto the roof Daichi quickly went over to the two fallen kids. "You guys ok? Here let me help ya up." He'd quickly help the two of them to their feet before turning and facing Shi. "Alright so what's the big idea, why did you shut the door like that man?" Looking around Daichi didn't really see anything that would warrant that sorta deal.
"Oh, that was just a prank. Figured I'd try to pull one over on ya, gotcha." In the most monotone voice saying gotcha Shi lied through his teeth, which the other teen didn't seem to buy in the slightest.
However as Shi was lying a small cry was heard from nearby. "Ahh! Let me go!" That same digimon Shi had just talked to before yelled out, Shi made his way over to them just in time to see a rather large goblimon holding the SnowAgumon up.
"Ahh, I see. One of them human's partners. Traitor!" Well this was certainly bad, looking over at Daichi though he seemed to just be in a stunned silence for a few moment. Perfect time for someone else to do something hopefully!

In that fleeting moment, a blur leapt onto the roof, pausing for a moment to assess the situation before seeming to lock onto the Goblimon...While revealing the blur was actually just a Kotemon.
It did not waste time. It did not exchange words. The Kotemon ran towards the Goblimon without any regard to the two kids or Shi, with one intent and one intent only. To clock this green bastard upside the jaw with extreme prejudice, and a yell to denote said prejudice.
"A mugging? This is BAD COMEDY. What a FUCKING WASTE OF MY TIME." The Kotemon seemed indignant, damn! But it was also worth noting this was just a basic attack for the most part to try beating the Goblimon up enough to get him to drop Daichi.

"Yeah I'm good." Blackjack said as he accepted Daichi's offer of help to get up before looking at his sister who was now being helped as well before he asked "You okay, Harmony?"
Harmony nodded before she said "Other than publicly embarrassing myself I seem to be fine." She then looked over to Daichi and said "Thanks."
The twin siblings watched as Shi and Daichi spoke to one another. Neither Blackjack or Harmony bought the prank story for a single second but said nothing about it and Daichi didn't look like he believed it himself either. Then as if they forgot about the digimon on the roof a cry to be let go snapped both twins into action as they focused on the sight of a Goblimon holding a SnowAgumon up. "Things have just gotten more complicated." Blackjack said as he made his way towards the duo. Just then a blur appeared on the rooftop in the form of a Kotemon. The said Kotemon then attempted to clock Goblimon by the time Blackjack made it to them reaching out to take ahold of one of the goblin's wrists. "All right pal. I think it's time to keep your hands to yourself. In case you haven't noticed this is a school in the Human World so the last thing we need is to attract the attention of half the city." Blackjack said in a tone that suggested he was trying to reason with Goblimon.

Well things were taking a turn for the worse, currently that was three digimon that were being seen by a human that judging by their reaction didn't know that these things existed. Shi however had to really start trying to get things together so for a start he took out his digivice and started charging the Digi-port, it'd take a few minutes to get charged up but if he did then maybe he could get some help in throwing the Goblimon into the portal to hopefully detain it. Thankfully there seemed to be another digimon who came in for the assistance in a very interesting way. "Waste of time or not, thanks for the assist whoever you are."
The Basic attack caused the Goblimon's head to shoot upward, shaking for a moment as his grip on the SnowAgumon started to slip, which someone else had decided to take advantage of, not either of the twins but instead the human Daichi who was just recently sitting there frozen for a moment, rushing over and smashing his shoulder into the Goblimon causing it to stumble back and let go of the SnowAgumon who fell down and scrambled away.
"I have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on but, I ain't letting you eat or, whatever to that thing." It was pretty clear he had no idea what was going on but his dukes were up, for better or worse. Shi rushed over to the Agumon, checking if they were ok for a moment as they ran behind him hiding behind the teen.
"School, for Human's Yeah I know! I'm sick and tired of these damn kids and their partners. Let the whole world know! I don't care!" The Goblimon shouted as he ripped his arm away from Blackjack, attempting to throw the Holo-suited digimon away "They'll know soon enough anyway, I'll raze this school to the ground if I have to!" Well that was probably bad and a pretty clear indication there wasn't going to be much reasoning with this digimon.

The Kotemon looked back to the human, offering a nod and a much quieter 'It is of no issue.' Huh. A more cursory look around revealed to the Kotemon that he was far from alone in this altercation. That...much was a relief to him.
The others were...very much getting up in the Goblimon's grill, and he was not taking kindly to that, even threatening to raze the school to the ground. "Is. That. So?" The Kotemon may not have had a true 'face', but if he did, one could make the very educated guess that he was grinning.
"I have heard it said that wisdom is born through suffering. I do not intend to make you suffer, but I have a human that attends here. I will not fail her. Engage the goblin, motherfucker." What?
As if to capitalize on confusion, Mantis promptly charged for the Goblimon, his shinai catching aflame as he ran it across the ground like a lighter. It was honestly pretty cinematic, for flair, but deadly all the same as he attempted to strike the Goblimon upside the head with his two post cooldown move titled Hot Head that really doesn't do much outside of a flaming stick to the everything.

Now that the SnowAgumon was no longer in the way there was no reason to continue to be gentle. When Goblimon tried to push Blackjack the holosuited digimon proved not so easy to budge as he was pushed back only a short distance. A roguish grin appeared on the disguised Cardmon's face before he said "You sure you want more trouble, pal? Look around you. You are surrounded by multiple digimon including myself and my twin sister. Are you asking to get your head beat in?"
Apparently he was since the Goblimon was now bragging about planning to raze the school which the Kotemon didn't seem all that happy about. To be honest who could blame the guy. When Mantis unleashed his next move Blackjack glanced briefly at Harmony before he said "I assume you're ready for action, right big sis?"
Harmony nodded all too eager to deactivate her holosuit to be in her true form if only for a short time. "Ready when you are, Blackjack." Harmony said as she and her twin deactivated their holosuits revealing two softball sized digimon with cards as part of the design theme. Blackjack was the land based Cardmon and was yellow and white while Harmony was the ocean based Cardmon and was blue and white.
"So, Goblimon, are you sure you are up to a first class butt whooping cause not only that Kotemon has that in mind." Blackjack said as he floated protectively infront of Daichi while Harmony made her way over to SnowAgumon.
She floated down to SnowAgumon and asked "You alright? The green goblin didn't hurt you to bad, did he?"

The Goblimon didn't seem to give a flying heck about the fact that he was outnumbered. "Course I see that, I ain't blind you runt. But all I'm surrounded by are losers who need to come to this damn world! I can't lose against a buncha digimon like that. 3 on one doesn't make a lick of difference to me!" Oh boy, one of those type of digimon it seems. "I ain't planning on failing either! Bring it on motherfucker!" The Goblimon said repeating after the Kotemon, though the writer doing this would probably cap the swearing at that for a moment.
"K so, two kids just turned into cards and that Goblin looking dude is looking for a fight. Shi, you will explain what this is right after we deal with this guy." That wasn't a question, to which the other teen nodded. Though before Daichi could move over to fight the card digimon got in his way. "Huh? Hey! Move aside. I ain't letting that Kendo dude fight alone!" Obviously he didn't know the danger he was in, either that or he did and was still willing to fight.
The Goblin in question stood there as Mantis rushed at him with a flaming strike, they didn't seem to mind the move at all standing with their feet placed firmly on the ground as they let the attack rush up and smash into them causing their head to bob upwards for a moment, body shaking from the pain. "Nice stick!" Smiling the Goblimon now had the Kotemon at close range where he did his best, sure it took a hit but it wasn't anything he couldn't tank at the moment as he slammed his head down aiming to collide his forehead into theirs for a return fire two post cool down attack!
"I'm fine, just a little shaken up at the moment. He just grabbed me and starting calling me a traitor out of the blue. Scared me enough I forgot how to attack for a moment." Forgot how to attack? That was a bit weird considering how Agumon's usually attacked, what was there to remember about claw and shoot?
Shi looked down at his digivice, four minutes till it was charged. All they had to do was keep him busy for a little longer and Shi could toss him back into the digital world, either that or the four of them could defeat the Goblimon in that time, either outcome was probably for the best as the noise would start attracting more attention sooner rather then later.
