Unfortunately most digimentals aren't always straight forward to find. All I know is that they are scattered about the Digital World and only the one meant to have the digimental tends to be the only one who can even lift it. So that means the odds of it being purchasable in Terminus are very unlikely but the Digital World can be majorly bonkers at times." Ryuji explained.
"Crazy that the digimental for my armor ultimate was found without us even trying but given how I was on a rescue mission to save Ryuji it was a very pleasant surprise." Yoshihiro said.
"Oh yeah that. It was a rough few days just to get ahold of that digimental no matter how cool the form was. Oh and as for gaining access to the evolution, after obtaining a digimental the code for accessing the artifact's power are the words Digi Armor Energize." Ryuji then said.

"So its not going to be that simple." his disappointment returned, though it was almost indistinguishable from his normal tone of voice. Yet he'd had his hopes up. What if there was an artifact meant for them? What if there wasn't? What if they got lost in the digital world looking for it and died? What if Y2K died because they didn't have it? What if they found the artifact and it wouldn't budge?
He listened in turn to Yoshihiro... so Yoshihiro had found his without even looking? Well, he hadn't been looking for it specifically. Ryuji was assumedly in peril.
Then of course he heard the command to access the item's power... and he thought it was the cheesiest thing he'd ever heard. "Digi Armor Energize... really?" the degree of unimpressed he was phenomenal.
He could only imagine it sounded like something some kind of super sentai character would say. The image of himself striking a pose and thrusting his digivice forward dramatically as if he was the one about to transform..Digi Armor Energize! ...No thank you... "So you wouldn't even know where to start... I might as well pick a direction and start walking away from Terminus?"
Y2K of course was able to provide a crucial piece of information. "Nyaa!" Brilliant Y2K!

The faintest hint of disappointment was heard from Rai which made both Ryuji and Yoshihiro more curious but neither wanted to upset the teen. Besides how would one go about satifying their curiousity other than being blunt with their curiosity. So in this case it was best to leave well enough alone. "Fraid so but I don't personally recommend the approach that led me and Yoshihiro to find the second digimental since I was kidnapped by a bird man like digimon called Buraimon and that feather head was intending to sell me as a slave. I was just relieved that one of the people that found me was Yoshihiro."
When Rai commented on the activation of the digimentals Ryuji snickered before he said "Yeah it does sound kind of silly but the results are well worth sounding like some corny old cartoon character for a few seconds. Y2K might have some fascinating armor forms like Yoshihiro does. I don't think it is completely unheard of for digimon to become some incredible forms through armor digivolution."
"Sometimes one can get information mostly through rumors regarding digimentals. That is how we were led to the first one that allows me to become the armor champion form of SamuraiCalumon. Sometimes digimentals can be sitting on alters even." Yoshihiro said.

"Oh." he put his fist on his palm like he had an idea or understood something. "So I should go around Terminus and bother people for rumors." That sounded like a terrible idea. But maybe it would lead to something. "Maybe I should post a reward for solid leads. Does 1000 bits seem right?" was he joking or was he serious? It was impossible to tell. To be fair he didn't have many better ideas. Socializing wasn't generally his thing, but here he was now.
He also didn't really understand the value of a bit, as he'd only gone to buy a few things once and hadn't compared how those prices compared to many other things. He just knew he had enough bits to cover it at the time.
Y2K grew bored with sitting on the table and stumbled almost drunklike off the edge before he was back on the ground, running around as fast as he could, once more zipping between people's ankles like humans were an obstacle course. "Don't trip anyone." Rai called after him half-heartedly. "Anywhere in particular in Terminus you'd listen for rumors?" he asked Yoshihiro, looking at him now. "And anywhere you'd avoid?" Yes, he'd like to avoid being kidnapped by a FlameWizardmon if possible please.

"I wouldn't say go around bothering people." Ryuji began before he said "Besides you come off as the not so social type to me. Or am I wrong? Though if you want to pay folks for information that's up to you."
Ryuji look down at Y2K watching the energetic digimon move around before he said "Y2K sure is an interesting little guy so far but he must be even more interesting in his true form. However I think that is normal for digimon using holosuits in general. Take Yoshihiro for example, in his holosuit he takes on the warrior image that is not always reflected by his true form."
"I really don't know all that much about Terminus other than that it is a large city so overhearing info would theoretically be a simple matter. As for places to avoid, I would recommend avoiding the Dark Area at least until you have more experience with matters pertaining to the Digital World. Not everyone was born in the Dark Area like I was after all." Yoshihiro said.

Impossible, how could he have possibly correctly deduced that Rai was not infact a social animal? It wasn't like there were any cues. The only answer was that Ryuji was psychic. "No, you're right." said Rai, "I'm mostly an introvert." okay he was a MASSIVE introvert, but he didn't think that was really something to brag about. Besides this whole digimon thing had gotten him into more conversations that he'd actively participated in in a week, than he had in the entire month prior to Y2K popping out of his computer screen.
Not like he didn't have reason to; he needed to learn.
A small faint smile appeared on his face as the subject of his partner. "He is... very interesting. I understand that while at this Rookie Level, his species is called Keramon. He eats a lot of emails." that tiny bit of fondness in his voice was likely understated. "He's eager to make friends and help other people. Got us into trouble quick. The little guy volunteered us both to help without asking me. " his smile faded, as he had a flashback of the confrontation with FlameWizardmon. Kshin had fallen so quickly. Y2K could have been kidnapped or worse; a casualty, if Mona hadn't intervened and slammed the Pyro down.
"I just don't want him to get hurt." he said with an odd look in his eye. It was the first thing he'd let himself really care about in a long time. He was sure that if anything ever happened to Y2K he'd just sink deeper than ever before.
"The Dark Area? What is that, like the dark web?" maybe it was some ghetto or seedy underbelly to Terminus. He'd skimmed the surface of the dark web before, but any of the many dangers involved with that would likely become manifest as very physical threats in the digital world.

"Makes sense that Ryuji read you. He has some introverted tendecies himself. I guess even the partially introverted can sense other introverts. Then again since I'm not human I don't know how human instincts fully work." Yoshihiro said with a shrug.
"Keramon?" Ryuji asked confused.
"Keramon is an interesting species indeed. Some can enter computers and cause a lot of damage but it seems Y2K is pretty friendly. I am of an interesting species too called Calumon. However, unlike most Calumon I don't have all of the standard supportive abilities they are known for."
"Yeah learning of his combat abilities was surprising for me." Ryuji said. When Rai mentioned not wanting his partner to get hurt Ryuji said "I know how that feels especially since Yoshihiro is a martial artist and being a warrior is as natural to him as breathing or email eating to Y2K."
"The Dark Area is a continent shrouded mostly in darkness and not all of its residents are kind like the digimon who lived in my home village. Various other data corruptions also are spread all over the land periodically as well." Yoshihiro explained fully understanding that Rai didn't know about how dangerous the Dark Area could be.

"Right, you said other Calumon can cause digivolution in others. Well being able to defend yourself is nothing to sneeze at." Rai offered, recalling it being mentioned before. Well all of the digimon were interesting species to him; he'd barely gotten to identify any so far. He pulled out his digivice and pointed it at Yoshihiro, seeing a simple name and image. That was a Calumon? It looked like a creampuff. He tried to imagine it wearing a kabuto and wielding a samurai sword. He probably grows somehow...
"Well thanks for answering my questions, but I think now we've actually reached the Terminus of this conversation." he said bringing back the pun from before. He reached into his apron pocket and produced a coupon for a free muffin with the purchase of six cookies, and offered it to Ryuji. "Here, something for the trouble." after which he stood up and began looking this way and that for his 'cat'. Where did Y2K get off to? He couldn't be far Rai told himself.
He shrugged and looked back to Ryuji, "See you around maybe." was all he offered before walking back towards the shop.
A white cat with eyebrowlike markings bumped Ryuji's foot before doing the same to Yoshihiro. Y2K couldn't go inside the bakery since Mr. Ryuichi would have a fit.

"Fair enough. Though it's a shame not all Calumon have combative abilities." Yoshihiro said watching as Rai began scanning him with his digivice the picture of his species showing up on the screen.
Ryuji himself was curious of Y2K bringing out his mostly white digivice scanning the white cat showing the curious digimon known as Keramon. "Y2K, is a somewhat cute species so I could see how either him or Yoshihiro would be considered cute by girls." Ryuji said before Rai mentioned they had reached the end of the conversation in using a pun. Yoshihiro snickered as Ryuji accepted the coupon for a free muffin with the purchase of six cookies. As Ryuji and Yoshihiro got up Y2K seemed to be saying goodbye in his own way by bumping into them. "Maybe with luck we'll also meet in the Digital World. There are some fairly friendly areas to visit especially in the Eastern Timberlands. See you two later, Rai. Y2K." Both Ryuji and Yoshihiro then began leaving with Ryuji pocketing the coupon.
