Back to The Digital World... (Solo)

Leaving school, Rai caught a bus to the train station. He was technically supposed to head straight home, but he had ambitions in The Digital World; most notably obtaining a Digimental. He sat on the train staring at the digivice in his hand. Was this really a good idea? He told himself it was all for Y2K. For the Keramon to be able to protect himself... and hopefully Rai if it came to it. But what if this course was the very thing that got them both killed? Maybe they could forget about the Digital World and... no. That wouldn't be fair to Y2K. Besides when would be the next time something unexplainable like those things on TV would come to Shibuya?
Doing nothing could lead to tragedy, at least as much as buckling down and doing something. Besides there wasn't even a guarantee that they'd find a lead in Terminus. These things were supposed to be rare after all. But if there was even a small chance they could arm themselves against the potential danger of the uncertain future... well he didn't have the privilege of being ignorant anymore.
This was his stop.
The stood up and grabbed his bag before stepping off the bus and making his way into the station. From there he just needed to find the Trailmon Terminal again. It wasn't too hard, but he did have to second guess himself at least once as to if he was going the right way. He had to crossing over the telltale cones and tape reading 'Do Not Enter'-- to reach the locked door. He raised his digivice to the seemingly defunct ID card scanner, and watched lights flash between them; prompting the door to unlock and allowing him to enter the secret terminal. Was he going to get caught doing this one day? What would he even say?
The proceeded down the path to what by all appearances was a subterranean level to the station. Here there was dimly lit underground subway tunnel... which logically couldn't be there, because it really should have been intersecting other lines. That made him think the terminal had to be at least halfway inside the digital world already.
'... Its okay to want to care about someone. I think if you really try to help Y2K, everything will turn out okay... cause he'll try his best to help you. That's what being a tamer is all about... its about trusting your friends.'
That's what the person who had explained most of this stuff to him said. He wanted to believe all of those statements. And this was to help Y2K. He'd let Rai know if he had any reservations... but would Y2K's instincts even kick in before it became too late?
As he boarded the nearest Trailmon he said goodbye to his world for a second time. Next stop, The Digital World.
