Hirata Akitsugu had forgotten how long he had been in this world by now. Simply as a general statement, he had heard that a week here was a day over there...And he had been in the otherworld for several weeks now. The only true compensation here was that he was on break for university things.
Not to mention he didn't have much in the way of friends at Shibuya...
It was overall a lossless experience. Something that enabled the undertaking they were doing today.
The sun had been rising, and the room of the inn at Rustport was beginning to become alight with the heraldry of the day. Which, of course, meant that a certain Jazamon was beginning to boot up, so to speak. Red eyes lit up. A small whirr was heard. "I waken." Java spoke, seeming to stretch with the telltale clicks of artificial joints righting themselves.
...Yet, she was a Digimon. A being of data...
As were the Digimon in Akitsugu's Xros loader. "Morning. Big day today, huh?" Aki spoke, having been...loafing around and watching the television for the most part. "Yes. I would say so. The others are in the Loader, aren't they?"
"Not all of them--Gaby and Shu are in their own rooms. Bishop's the only one in the loader right now given I don't fully trust her being with us. There isn't anything stopping her from going back to the people who want you kidnapped."
"I noticed. I know I put on a facade of magnanimity but it doesn't mean I'm stupid. It's probably THE correct move to be doing here."
There was also the problem of everyone thinking they were a big shot in the army when in truth they were still weaker than most other Digimon. If anyone were to ask the honest opinions of the two true leaders, they'd both agree that it was pretty annoying.
In fact, it was partially for this reason that Akitsugu had been a little hesitant for what they were about to do. See, there was a lingering anomaly in the form of Java being an aberrant, yet...a purposeful one. A defective model made seemingly on purpose.
What they wanted to do today was break into the Hardware Den and learn what the hell was up with that. It really didn't seem like too much of an issue given there was only one group looking for Java. Who could easily be hidden. The problem was trusting everyone else to go along with the plan and not really hijack it.
"Let's meet up, get grub and then set on out. Day's young." "Agreement: Time is bountiful." If nothing else was gleaned during the weeks spent here, Akitsugu was certain that he had found a rather strange friend in Java.
Yet, a friend nonetheless.
The General got up, and departed the room. Java was quick to follow. They had a very long day ahead of them, so they didn't really have the time to linger.
