"Next one's here Dust!" Luna in her Dianamon form shouted as she held her weapon down, dragging it against the ground as she threw it up creating an ice wall that surrounded a MetalGreymon in a coat of ice. Stopping it in its tracks as Dust rushed over in his Beelzemon form punching them through the Ice wall, picking them up and slamming them against the ground knocking them out within just a few moments.
"You're sure this is the one right?" Dust asked as Luna walked over with a piece of paper in her hand, it was a picture with the digimon on it, a marking on his head, white paint with a weird symbol on it which matched the picture.
"Yup this is the one, we can bring him in like the others." Putting the wanted posted away Dust threw the digimon over his shoulder as he followed Luna back to their motorcycle. "C'mon we need to hurry, we have three more wanted digimon to catch and two more jobs after this one! Lets go-go-go!" Luna rushed over to her bike faster as Dust rolled his eyes walking after her.
"Yeah I know, thought you hated doing merc work nowadays though, shouldn't you just leave it to me and go find something else to do?" He was happy to have Luna along but at the same time this didn't seem like something she'd be wanting to do even with him around, which Luna just turned back leaning against her Motorcycle to face him.
"If we work together, we can go faster Dust besides we only have two days before Saya's birthday we need to move as fast as possible. I can put my feeling aside for a moment so we can help her out." Luna didn't seem to confidant in her ability to do so but judging by what had just happened, yeah Luna would be fine.
Right now, would be the best time to explain what was going on and get a few more words in for the word counter. Luna and Dust's kid was going to be having their birthday in a few days, their first birthday ever and the two of them wanted it to be the best birthday they could possibly muster. Sadly, a lack of funds and general idea on how birthdays were supposed to go was holding the duo back so to at least make up for the lack of funds part Dust and Luna had been hunting down wanted criminal after wanted criminal just to try and get as many bits as possible so they could throw some large party to make up for their lack of ideas on how birthday's went.
"You do realize that we probably wouldn't be in this situation is you didn't give free healings out to digimon right?" Dust mentioned as he strapped the ultimate level digimon in, he would be taking Dust's usual seat in the sidecar but he made sure to make sure he was tied down so he wouldn't fall off.
"Hey! I only give out free healings to friends and family./font]" Luna shot back as she jumped on her bike starting it up and got ready to roll out.
"Luna you make friends with everyone, so eventually they're all going to get free heals one way or another." Dust sounded like he was complaining but had a smile on his face and laughed slightly as he mentioned that part, though he did wish she'd start at least charging the humans she helped, after all medical supplies and antidotes cost a whole lotta cash.
"Less complaining more moving now lets go!" Luna then rode off to turn this digimon in as Dust ran alongside her, making their way back to Terminus the duo turned the digimon in to get the reward then instantly accepted another contract over towards the desert.
It went on like this for a while, leave. Fight then come back, not to say each fight was as fast as the first, no Luna and Dust had been taking damage but thankfully Luna was able to keep them topped up with her healing magic, if it was just one or the other then this wouldn't of worked but thankfully the two of them proved to be quite the dangerous duo when trying to work fast.
"Alright, next mission lets go!" Luna tossed over a Numemon to the bounty collector as she got ready for the next mission, however the wind under her sails was completely taken away as the digimon, a Magnamon, shook his head.
"Sorry, but I don't have any more bounties you two can take, cleaned out the entire stock for today. I mean I'm sure there's no shortage of criminals out there in the digital world but until I hear about them, I can't exactly assign a number to a name I don't know." Then he got a bit worried for a moment before adding. "Also like, please don't just bring in random digimon and tell me they're criminals without any information, I can't tell you how many digimon try that and it's annoying every single time." Well that was a story in of itself, however that didn't help the two Mega level digimon's needs on this matter.
"Don't worry we won't, c'mon Luna lets try to find something else to do." As Dust patted Luna on her shoulder, she just kinda faltered a bit and fell against him, apparently once it was revealed she wasn't going to hafta fight anymore she kinda just passed out asleep turning back into her Lekismon form. "Wait how even, oh Right. Guess all that healing inbetween fights tired you out." It was pretty obvious once he thought about it, looking down at all the money they made Dust silently figured it must've been enough, after all it had to be since he couldn't really think of a way he could make more without Luna.
So picking the Lekismon up Dust made his way back home, afterwards they threw the best party in the digital world. At least for Saya it was the best.
