Personality:
Nao is very much an odd one. She’s the kind of person to simply go with the flow, and live life in a very relaxed way. Usually calm, sometimes to a fault, patient and observant, she appreciates taking her time no matter the situation. While this is often seen as laziness by the people around her, it is actually just how she functions : slow and steady wins the race. There are very few things that annoy Nao, and that’s for the better. She sometimes struggles to contain or control her anger, and turns it against herself or people around her, causing more harm in the process instead of focusing on the issue at hand. Even though her job as a high school teacher taught her a lot, she still has difficulties putting up with students who categorically refuse to even try to understand her lessons. More often than not, she instantly regrets whatever she says or does when angry and that alone is enough to make her come back to her senses.
Nao has had a hard time fitting in since she moved out of her hometown, but she slowly tries to get out of her comfort zone to finally meet new people and create new connections. However, she has a tendency to talk a lot and sometimes too much when a subject she’s passionate about comes up. She’s a bit awkward at times, but she tries her best, and there’s rarely any malice in what she says or does.

Appearance:

Born of an Irish mother and a Japanese father, Nao never fit the stereotypical look of a Japanese girl her age. Light skin, blue eyes, red-ish brown hair and freckles all over her face are not the most common sight in the countryside. This got to the point where she had to dye her hair black in order to attend a public high school. Now well out of the school system, she’s been embracing her natural hair despite the frequent admonitions of her different employers.
Other than that, Nao has a small slightly upturned nose, almond shaped eyes, and thin lips. She got snake bite piercings when she was in college, but barely wears them anymore due to the strict dress code in place where she works. Her ears are pierced as well, two holes in each lobe and a helix on her left ear. While she doesn’t need glasses at all times, she wears a pair when reading or when spending time in front of a screen. She wears some light makeup basically everyday, except when she knows she won’t have to go out at all and can just relax on the couch.
On work days Nao wears simple and comfortable clothes : white blouse, black skirt and tights, flowery dress, blazers and dress pants are her usual go-to. The rest of the time, she goes for a more casual style : crop tops, oversized sweaters, short skirts, ripped jeans, baggy pants, sneakers and combat boots make up the most of her wardrobe.

Personal History:
Nao was born in the middle of nowhere, the village of Ōtoyo, right in the center of Shikoku. Her father raised her alone for most of her childhood, as her mother constantly had to travel due to her job as an interpreter for government officials visiting the country. Despite this, Nao enjoyed a relatively normal childhood in the countryside. She went bug catching with her friends in the surrounding mountains, went to pet the cows and sheep on her way home from school everyday and helped her father take care of the house.
As an english teacher in the local elementary and middle school, Nao’s father is the one who motivated her to become a teacher herself. Even from a young age, Nao took it to heart to try and help her classmates when they struggled with concepts she had already grasped. And this continued when her younger brother, Kenta, was born. Already six years old at the time, she took it upon herself to teach her baby brother everything she knew : how to catch butterflies, how to pet dogs and how to make a paper boat.

In middle school, Nao joined the kyūdō club and quickly reached a pretty good level. There, she met her first boyfriend and started to open up more and more to the other kids around. For a while, Nao actually saw herself pursuing this sport at a professional level after high school, but the fantasy was short lived, as a pretty bad injury the following year prevented her from practicing for the next few years. While out in the mountains with a couple of her friends, Nao fell down a steep hill and broke her left elbow. After this accident, Nao more or less stopped going outside as much, or just hanging out with her friends altogether. All the progress she had made through kyūdō vanished in just a couple weeks. To try and get a fresh start, Nao begged her parents to send her to a boarding school in a big city once she’s done with middle school. From this point on, Nao focused on her studies more than ever in order to pass the different entrance exams needed.

Her hard work paid off, and Nao was accepted into a boarding school in Kyoto. The first few days in the dorm were one of the worst experiences of her life up to this point : alone in a huge city, without anything nor anyone to rely on. It took her about two months to finally adjust to life here and to make her first friends in Kyoto, friends with whom she’s still in contact to this day. Despite the rough beginning, these three years far from home were a godsend for the young woman. This new environment helped her come into her own as a person, as well as become more assertive about her wants and her goals. On the last day of high school, she was a completely different person as when she arrived. While it is expected for kids her age to change a lot over short periods of time, even her parents and friends back home had trouble recognizing her. Her visit in Ōtoyo was short lived though, as she aced the entrance exams to a college in yet another city. This time, she was headed to Tokyo!

For the next five years, Nao enrolled in a teacher education program at Tokyo University, in order to become an English teacher, just like her father. Now used to living in such a big city, she had no problem acclimating to the capital, even though the small room her parents helped her pay for was less than ideal. A bathroom in a closet, toilets on the landing shared with three other apartments, the smallest kitchen she had ever seen and barely enough room for a desk and a chair once the futon was out. “At least, there’s no cockroaches”, Nao thought at the time. Her studies went fairly well, even though her sleep schedule descended more and more into insanity as she had to juggle between school and two part time jobs to be able to afford the tuition and the overall cost of living in the capital.
The last three years of her education had Nao work as a teacher assistant for several weeks at a time in a primary school in order to get a feel for the actual job. In the end, she got her teaching certificate without too much trouble and started working as a highschool teacher in Shibuya the following year.

Now with a stable income, Nao could stop relying on her parents’ help, and moved to a nicer one bedroom apartment in Shibuya, not too far from work. A not-so-tranquil life far from her native countryside, but one she enjoys thoroughly. She even got enough time to slowly get back into old hobbies like kyūdō, and to get into new ones.

「Prankster」: Kin is always up for trouble. Not a single day passes where he doesn’t try to prank anyone in his vicinity. And the worst thing is, he’s kind of good at it. Resourceful, creative and pretty skilful with his hands, he never fails to come up with incresingly stupid pranks to pull.
「Lazy snout」: Kin has mastered the art of doing the very least while at the same time achieving the absolute maximum result. He’s the kind of guy to build a full functioning Rube Goldberg machine to avoid doing the dishes ever again.
「Nightmare Cook」: Kin loves cooking and is actually really good at it. This might be the only activity he actually puts effort into. However, his talent often only serves for weird culinary experiments. While some of these turn out edible and kind of good, most are actively poisonous and should be avoided at all cost.

Personality:
Kinosuke is, just like Nao, a very odd one. Mischievous, blunt, way too frank for his own good, Kin never actively tries to hurt anyone but he often ends up doing so anyways. And while he kind of apologizes every time, he still ends up getting in trouble again and doesn’t seem to fully grasp what apologies are supposed to mean.
Fortunately, Kin is not completely thoughtless nor is he ever mean on purpose. He struggles with expressing himself and instead uses humor to convey them. This, in turn, tends to undervalue a lot of his struggles and makes it sometimes hard to relate to him.
But he’s a good kid at heart. Or Nao thinks so, at least. He’s incredibly lazy and barely helps around the house, but makes up for it by cooking fancy meals for Nao, Mako and Haru from time to time. And he always manages to bring a smile to everyone’s face, even in the most dire situations.

「Early bird」: Contrary to the lazy Kin and the nightly Nao, Haru loves to be up early and is always full of energy. She feels the most at peace during the early hours of the day and seems to be functional even with very few hours of sleep. Nao and Kin often try to get her to get back to bed and to sleep in, but Haru’s got the willpower necessary to resist their siren song.
「Meteorologist」: Haru seems pretty in touch with the world around her. For reasons she can’t really explain nor understand, she can feel when the weather is about to change. Maybe it’s something about the air, the wind, the way clouds move, their color or a combination of all these and more. In any case, her predictions are fairly accurate, even more so in a familiar environment.
「Peaceful」: Her level-headed nature makes Haru a great mediator when conflict arises. She’s learned how to de-escalate fights and make sure everyone involved comes to their senses so no one gets hurt. Of course it’s not completely foolproof, but her calm attitude and friendly demeanor often help her get positive results.

Personality:
Haru is pretty much the polar opposite to Kin. Calm, generous, always trying to help, she very easily gives her trust to every person she meets. This sometimes gets her in trouble, as not everyone is as friendly or trustworthy as she first assumes. Fortunately, both Nao and Kin have her back and always help her get out of these situations.
Haru sometimes feels like the mother figure of the group : caring, attentive and always trying to not let the others do things they’d regret later. She hates being called “mom”, though.
However, Haru tends to become reclusive whenever she’s feeling down. Too concerned with the wellbeing of others, she doesn’t want to be a bother even when she obviously needs help. This tends to not only aggravate things in the long run, but also worry the very people she wanted to protect in the first place. Haru needs to learn to follow her own advice, and to rely more on others if she wants them to rely on her.

However, it is only because he knows Haru and Nao have his back that he can be so confident and aggressive.

「Sticker blade」: Sangloupmon hurls dozens of tiny energy blades from his claws. They travel a short distance and can slash through steel. The blades are not very precise but deal a lot of damage when they hit. 1 post cooldown.
「Shadow step」: Sangloupmon fragments his data and disappears in a cloud of black smoke. He then instantly reappears in any shadow nearby in a similar black cloud. Sangloupmon teleports in any shadow in a 15 meters radius (~50 ft). 2 posts cooldown.
「Draining fangs」: Sangloupmon bites his opponent and drains its blood. This doesn’t deal much damage to the target, but saps its strength and heals Sangloupmon for a small amount. Target gets -10% strength for 1 post. 3 posts cooldown.

Abilities:
「Sky-fissure slash」: Reppamon leaps forward in a somersault, slashing everything directly in front of her with her tail. This gives Reppamon great mobility, but leaves her vulnerable for a while after landing back on the ground. This is a 「Tail」 ability. 2 posts cooldown.
