Shi slowly opened his eyes, quickly sitting up letting his covers fall off of him Shi tried to make his way out of bed, emphasis on try considering his legs didn't seem to want to move at the moment. letting out a small sigh Shi ripped the covers off of himself revealing two dinosaur digimon, one on his left leg and one on his right leg just snoozing away.
"Ech, Just five more minutes." Yuudai muttered out as he rolled over, trying to cover himself with the blanket that was no longer there. Sadly the asleep dinosaur wouldn't realize this fact so easily.
"Mhm, Cold. Need more Blanket." Yasuo added, contributing absolutely nothing to the conversation as the two dinosaurs tried to find some more shelter from the new day.
Shi paused for a moment, even though his partner did just mention only needing five minutes Shi knew that usually meant around a few hours at best. Glancing over at the clock it was six in the morning so considering what time they usually got up he'd be here for another six hours. Wasn't strong enough to lift either of them alone, let alone possibly both at once.
Thankfully his eyes narrowed down on his digivice to his left, reaching over doing his best to get as close as possible he snatched the digivice from the table and pressed a few buttons, degenerating the two Agumon back into their easily liftable Koromon forms. Getting up and placing the two of them on the pillow Shi threw his blanket back over them leaving them safe and sound.
"You two have your own room now, why do you keep trying to sleep in mine?" Shi asked the asleep dinosaurs yet as expected he didn't get a response, nevertheless he didn't really need one. Quickly getting changed throwing on his usual jacket and hat Shi opened his door and let his partners sleep, his mom was right he probably did spoil them too much...
Opening the door home Shi quickly took his shoes off before walking into this house, tossing his backpack up letting it hang along the hook as he stepped forward, into quite the scene. Yuudai was standing on the ground, black paint around his eyes and narrowed eyes while Yasuo was right next to him, no paint but an evil looking red mark around his eyes to show how evil he was.
Meanwhile on top of a table was his sister, in her totally original do not steal magical girl attire, waving a wand into the air crying out with a thunderous roar that only an eight year old could make. "In the name of the stars above and the friends on high I shall purge thee wicked monsters and restore light to the realm before us!" She cried out spinning around the table for a moment before pointing her wand at Yuudai.
"Ha, you can try Miss Starlight but you shall fail all the same, behold the ultimate might of the brothers two, have at thee." Yuudai seemed really into it, Yasuo as well. Hoever both seemed to pause as they noticed Shi circling around his sister for a moment, standing behind her.
"Ha, trembling in fear of my ultimate might. Gaze upon me and tremble before my ultimate pow-" The young girl stopped as her older brother patted her on the head, jumping a bit in shock she turned back to see Shi standing behind her. "Oh, Big Brother. I uhh, didn't know you were going to be home so soon. Hehehe." Smiling sheepishly Mirai backed up a bit.
"Mom's going to be home in an hour." Shi said without a hint of tone, but just that information was enough to get the three of them moving, they had to clean up the mess they had made. Shi let out a small sigh and decided to help them out, thankfully the four together managed to get the place looking alright before she came home, Mirai silently reminded herself that she owed her brother big time.
"Oi, Yuudai. You finished cleaning up the living room." Shi's mom called out from her room, sitting at her desk with a decent amount of paperwork in front of her. Sitting in a chair on the otherside of the room was Shi, deciding to help his mom out a bit with her work.
"Almost done mom! Just got a few more places under the couch!" The Dinosaur happily called back from lifting the couch, Mirai was also on top of the lifted couch having the time of her life.
"I'm not your, Ughh whatever. Yasuo how are you doing on the kitchen?" She had long given up any hope on having them call her by her name, it was mostly Shi and Mirai's fault considering they only ever call her mom. Natural they picked up on that.
"Pretty much done, just doing a small sweep through mom. Gotta make sure it's in order!" Yasuo chimed back leaving the older women smiling for a moment before getting back to her work.
"You know, it's kinda funny. I'm so used to seeing these guys in action. Yet you're treating them like maids around here." Shi even cracked a smile thinking about it, having them do housework wasn't the first thing that came to the teens mind.
"They do good work, besides it keeps them busy while you're out. Plus if they're gonna eat that much food I'm gonna at least get some work outta them." Shi could harly imagine how they were when he wasn't here, thankfully nothing too bad they kept each other in line.
"Glad to see you're adjusting well to them." Shi didn't know what he expected her reaction to be when he introduced them, but this was nice at least.
"Well at first, I thought you were insane to having something that dangerous around but, you told me they're fine. You're my kid Shi I trust your judgement. Just make sure not to lie to me again, ok? Hurts that you thought you needed to do it the first time." Despite her words, like Shi her face didn't reflect this 'hurt' but Shi knew all the same, giving a small nod as he went back to helping out.
