Obviously, Dust and Saya couldn't hope to hold him in place for long, but they did hold him in place. Maybe it was just for a moment but that was all they seemed to need as the dual attack from their allies managed to make its mark. Dust and Saya backed off away from the force of the two hits slamming into the Omegamon sending him flying backwards. Funnily enough right over Luna's head as she ran over to heal everyone. Turning around and facing them the three of them grimaced when they saw the knight get back up on his feet. " Seriously? Guess his claim to be an actual knight is true. Don't know anyone else that could survive a hit like that." The fact that he was still standing, if badly damaged, was very concerning. But Daemon was still standing as well so ultimately, they just had to keep it up. Taking off into the air to avoid the missiles was a good idea, they were all grouped up after all so typically the missiles would have an easier time landing their mark right? Nah not while Luna was here. Holding her hands forward for a moment she took in a deep breath before slamming her hands into the ground. " Gate of the heavens, claw your way up from the darkest depths and repel my enemies. Final Gate!" Luna shouted as all of the sudden before the missiles could even hope of hitting any of them a massive aura of light would shoot from the ground and would cover pretty much everything save her ally who was already outside of the range of the attack. Luna couldn't move while keeping the barrier up and as the attacks made their mark, it was pretty clear the barrier wasn't doing too hot. Cracks small and large expanded around it as each attack blew up, closer and closer it would come to completely shattering. Maybe it was Luna's abilities, maybe it was her will who knows? But the barrier held strong, cracked and broken but it held all the same. " I would rather die with the man I love, then risk a world where someone like you is allowed to decide his fate!" Luna shouted back at the Omegamon obviously not taking his words well. " Saya, Dust. While the barrier is up. do it now!" Dust gave a small nod before glancing over at his daughter. " Just like I showed you, don't be afraid of it. Let it all out." Dust said as he closed his eyes for a moment, for a split second he was back where it all began. Back to the past he tried to move past from, it was still their though. Bodies laid about the area without a care, data streaming from different areas. Now it made him sick but ultimately it was when he was strong, when he couldn't lose. That same power was what he needed now so, it would be noticeable by everyone. A strong dark force that scarce befit the kind Beelzemon people knew, the ground below him moving and cracking with force as with just a simple exhale it was out. The tyrant who killed so many before was released. His eyes narrow and focused on the one target in front of him. " Sorry to keep you waiting, lets go." Saya didn't have something like that though, barely being even a year old she wouldn't have too much to draw from, but she did have something. When she first evolved into this form at the village of beginnings, when she unleashed her power on accident the looks of fear and anger on the caretakers' eyes. It filled her with fear, confusion. but when they forced her out those feelings were replaced with a storm of emotions, with one more clear than any. Anger. It was a simple thing to draw from, but it would work, releasing the same power Dust had moments before. Letting out an exhale and watching the ground below her break and float upwards as she did. Slowly floating up as well wings outstretched. " Vanish, be forgotten from this world." Saya said coldly as the two of them readied themselves. It was time to give it everything they had. " You two, heh. Go show him what our family is made of!" Luna didn't have a badass transformation. But she didn't need one to be honest. With Dust and Saya looking terrifying behind her, they could stand up to anyone. Knight or no Knight!

RedMagnamon's and Daemon's attacks struck true, dealing a high amount of combined attack power right at the Omegamon all at once, before the knight could even begin to charge his arm cannon. In normal circumstances, an attack like this would've defeated a Super Mega level Digimon right then and there. And that's what RedMagnamon had assumed at first, after seeing the knight be sent backwards and sliding to a stop on the ground.
Did... did that do it?
That hope was thrown out the window when Omegamon Zwart D managed to pick himself up... although he was clearly worse for wear. The attack truly did damage him, to the point where the side of his face where he was hit was completely mangled. His left eye was gone, the armor had cracked and all that remained were the wire frames underneath. "Th-that's impossible... he tanked the hit!" RedMagnamon stated, his eyes widened.
"Yeah, but you guys really messed up his face still," Adrian responded back to his partner. Even he was finding the knight's face unsavory to look at.
As Omegamon Zwart himself began to realize what had happened, his rage simply grew and grew. The group watched as the panels on his cannon arm opened up, holding numerous missiles inside. Zwart simply stated that the group had chosen death before firing all of those missiles at the group. While Daemon was able to just take off away from the missiles, RedMagnamon's mind immediately shifted to Adrian, who the missiles would also be targeting. Thankfully, Luna had the foresight to create a shield and protect everyone sans Daemon from the missiles, which seemed to just explode the very moment they made contact with the shield.
Luna... thank you.
"Grrrrr... this guy's really ticked off now," RedMagnamon said with a growl as his fists ignited with blue fire, shifting his attention back to Zwart. "You don't get to be the high-and-mighty one anymore, Zwart! Viruses aren't the villains you think they are, and if you still don't believe that, then we have no choice but to stop you!"
While Omegamon would likely now be distracted by Daemon's attack, as well as Dust and Saya's transformations, RedMagnamon would take that opportunity to use the last of his enhanced speed to dash right towards the corrupted Royal Knight. "Adrian! Activate it, now!" RedMagnamon told his partner through the comm link.
"Got it! V-Saber, activate!"
In RedMagnamon's right hand, the legendary sword of UlforceVeedramon had materialized. Gripping it tightly, RedMagnamon pointed it right at Omegamon Zwart as he came in closer. And after he dealt with Daemon's Seventh Graviton attack, RedMagnamon would be right there stabbing the sword right into Zwart D's abdomen. Of course, this would be the last attack he'd do before he could feel his strength returning back to normal...
RedMagnamon uses the legendary "V-Saber" to stab Omegamon Zwart D right in the gut!
Active Effects
Omni Unleash: RedMagnamon's persona, Omni, is unleashed. His fire becomes a bright blue and his attacks and speed are supercharged to incredible levels. However his accuracy takes a hit on account of his rage, forcing him to attack on all turns that this move is active on, whether it be friend or foe alike. Only to be used in dire circumstances. Lasts for three posts, and can only be used once per thread. (3/3) (Ends this post)

Omegamon Zwart D was annoyed that his missile attack was somehow negated due to Luna’s barrier (well, except for Daemon, but they managed to dodge anyways). This battle was starting to get on Omegamon’s nerves, as the five-on-one odds made it hard to take one of his foes down for good due to having to split his attention constantly.
As Daemon X charged up their supergravity lasers, Omegamon completely shrouded himself in his cloak to provide a slight defense against the lasers. However, as the lasers burned through the cloak, it revealed only empty space underneath. Omegamon had actually ditched his cloak to serve as a makeshift decoy while he quickly darted out of the way of the attack. It wasn’t quite enough to completely avoid being hurt, since there was visible smoke radiating off of Omegamon’s armor, but it did help to lessen the damage a bit.
Omegamon began charging his cannon to counterattack when RedMagnamon used the opportunity to impale the dark knight with his V-Saber card. Omegamon cried out in pain as the energy blade stabbed dangerously close to his core, but he wasn’t going to let his attacker get away unscathed. Omegamon used his WarGreymon arm’s jaws to grab the arm that was currently embedded in his abdomen and aimed his still-charging Supreme Cannon right at his opponent’s chest.
“You’re not getting away from me this time, dragon. Supreme Cannon, max output!” Omegamon gritted out, before firing his weapon at point-blank range.
-Virus Buster (passive): Omegamon Zwart D's attacks deal 25% more damage to all Virus-attribute opponents. -Dark Knight (passive): Omegamon Zwart D's basic attacks deal as much damage as 0-CD named attacks. -Supreme Cannon (Max Output): Omegamon Zwart D charges up its cannon to full power in order to unleash a massive beam of freezing energy. 5 post CD, full piercing. This was certainly bound to be a battle that went down in the history books, that much was for certain with regards to...this. They did have a great chance of taking this guy down given the sheer numbers, and despite the decoy maneuver/feint to try getting at Shoutmon... Hm. Daemon pulled forth a card, crushing it before quite literally PLUNGING A HAND THROUGH HERSELF and pulling forth a glob of data, hurling it into the air, before she engulfed herself in red energy--almost akin to flames yet not quite. Just as swiftly as the gesture came, she propelled herself towards Omegamon with harmful intent. Namely to slam into him and throw his aim off with the Supreme Cannon. ...In the meantime... The glob landed, and splattered into a bloody puddle...from which arose a strange, goat-like creature that looked like the apex of a Mephistomon, yet was clad in Digizoid. They cracked their knuckles and emitted a bestial bleat that pierced the air. This was Anzu's mega--only seen in a thread that might never see a continuation. Panimon. The beast lifted a hand--a brand being shown over Omegamon that may or may not be a reference to an old seinen. And at that moment? Fire (mega level strength fires) rained, upon Omegamon's location, with a feral screech to pierce the battlefield to boot. If they somehow hit Red Magnamon? No, they didn't. The author of this post loves anti-friendly fire passives and thinks prior talk of them being a waste uttered years before this mission is bullshit.
Relevant Passives: There are a LOT here. They're spoilered under their respective categories here. Team Passives: Will of the Council [Team Ability - Passive]: All the members of this team and the abilities performed by them can choose to completely ignore the effects of passive defensive abilities that might affect them in any way. Council's Accord [Team Ability #2 - Passive]: Team members can choose whether their abilities affect anyone or anything subjected to them or not. Form Passives: Dark Virus [RAM Upgrade Giga]: An echo of an active ability far along the evolutionary line for Anzu. Dark Virus enables her to freely manipulate the feelings of any Digimon, at a few costs and stipulations. One, she will encounter difficulties utilizing this on Digimon higher than her current level, as they will be able to resist this easily, while digimon of an equivalent level have a slightly more difficult time resisting this. It goes to say that the higher Anzu's level of evolution, the more easily she can make use of Dark Virus. Two, she can only drive her target to one of two emotional extremes at a time, namely extreme anger, or peace. And three, she can only make use of Dark Virus once every three rounds. She -could- use it on herself, but that's...a very bad idea. All around. Four, she can only use this on one target at a time, and the target has to be at least within three yards of her. And five, the emotions instilled upon this only last for three rounds.
Discretion [Passive]: None of Daemon’s moves can cause friendly fire.
Devilmon [Passive]: Daemon is completely immune to fire in this form, and retains her weakness to the light, attacks of such a nature being three times as effective/painful against her.
Wrath [Passive]: Daemon is capable of bolstering various attacks of hers to be able to deal double the amount of damage they’re capable of doing already once every three turns.
Seethe [RAM Upgrade - Passive]: Every turn, Daemon's sheer hate for almost everything around her prompts her to regenerate 5% of her overall health. HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER (FOR A FEW TURNS) Dark Virus [RAM Upgrade Giga]: An echo of an active ability far along the evolutionary line for Anzu. A Discrete Eye: Despite her overwhelming anger in combat, Panimon has enough restraint to will her magic to not target her allies. Friendly fire is an impossibility.
Infernal Constitution: While light-based attacks are particularly effective on this monster spewed from the depths of the Dark Area, darkness? Well, it eats darkness. It’s completely immune to that.
Brand of Sacrifice [RAM Upgrade - Passive]: An improved version of an ability loaded from a most unfortunate avian. At the beginning of combat, Panimon is able to brand an opponent for three turns. While she gains increased amounts of speed while moving towards her, as well as the ability to have her attacks inflict additional light damage atop whatever else they do, she’s only capable of focusing -on- that opponent for the duration of this move. Three turn cooldown. And yes, this is a Berserk reference.
Daemon card slashes Echoes for 2/7 of their hand. Using the card, Daemon summons forth Anzu's mega form, Panimon, as a merc for 3 turns. After slashing, Daemon uses Red Comet to try slapping Omegamon and throwing his aim off! Meanwhile, Panimon marks Omegamon with the Brand of Sacrifice before attacking with Stygian Flame! Red Comet: Daemon quite literally surrounds herself in a ball of energy and flies at an insanely high speed at an opponent with the intent of slamming into them. With the energy included. Lets get moving, while Dust was curious as to just what the hell his ally had just done with the whole reaching into themselves thing he didn't really think much on it at the moment, he trusted whatever they were doing was for the sake of taking care of this fallen knight before them. Considering the risk they took in order to deal all that damage? Dust would say they more than earned it, So without further ado Dust leaned down pressing his feet against the ground for a moment before blitzing forward. The dark aura that had surrounded him moments ago swirling downward and towards his fist, concentrating till it was a maelstrom of near uncontrollable power surging around his fist. Rushing up he didn't make it before Daemon slammed into them first but that wasn't going to stop the Beelzemon. Setting his stance lower Dust pulled his fist forward aiming a powerful punch right into the Omegamon's chest. " Destructive" Dust called out as he braced his back leg, turning into the punch granting it much more force as he pushed his arm out as hard as he could, the swirling black energy releasing all at one impact point right into his opponents chest with enough force to crack the ground below and around him. " SMASHER!" Raising his fist fully Dust used all the strength in his arm to send the digimon flying into the sky above, even if they defended against it with how much power Dust was letting out mixed with the abilities usual piercing capabilities suffice to say this should at least get them some distance and throw Omegamon upward towards the raining hellfire above. And what was above Omegamon at the moment aside from the fire? Saya who had flown above while her father had gone down low, holding her hand up pointed straight at Omegamon, a blank face and cold metal visor were all that would greet him as several arrows of light would rain down from above alongside the flames, all aimed at his exact spot so even if there was a chance he would dodge they would simply embed themselves in the ground right below where he was standing. 15 in all as Saya's hand glowed with a faint light with every volley that was sent. Though the two of them attacking was bad, there was one more worry from afar, Luna who had her hand over her chest breathing deeply in and out as she let power course through herself, a small light shining around her as she held her opposite hand outstretched, within moments the light that had appeared condensed and swirled around her open palm, quickly forming into a massive arrow, pure white against the dark landscape of the area they were in. " Pierce through." Luna spoke softly as she looked towards her allies, and right at Omegamon. Pulling her hand back Luna focused her aim before sending the arrow hurtling forward with perfect accuracy, right between her allies and straight towards the Knight at a blinding speed, piercing through any attempt to dodge and block it. While the arrow wouldn't deal too much damage, should Omegamon make an attempt to block or dodge this assault he would find himself unable to use said abilities for longer than usual, finding the arrows light weakening that part of him.

Time seemed to slow down momentarily for RedMagnamon at that moment. He had successfully pierced the Omegamon Zwart's chest with his V-Saber, and it was definitely hurting him. However, he wasn't able to avoid having his arm grabbed onto, and the cannon aimed right at his chest. Had that shot aimed straight and true, it would surely have completely killed RedMagnamon right then and there. But thankfully, due to Daemon's quick thinking, Omegamon's aim was knocked off course, if only slightly. RedMagnamon was still hit by the full strength of the blast, but it at least didn't damage his core. It was still a very serious injury though. RedMagnamon flew back due to the impact of the attack, his chest armor cracking into pieces, and a giant hole in his chest that was definitely bleeding a lot by this point. RedMagnamon could only watch as Daemon, Luna, Dust, and Saya all continued to fight Omegamon before he landed on the ground, sliding to a stop before he devolved back into Shoutmon, retaining his serious injuries from the attack. "SHOUTMON!"
Disregarding any concerns with preserving his own life, Adrian ran as fast he could towards his fallen partner. He got down onto his knees and attempted to push down on the wound, earning a pained groan from the red dragon himself. There was a lot of blood and glowing data pouring out from the wound on Shoutmon's chest, and it looked like a huge hole had been punched right through him. It was enough to make anyone who viewed it feel sick. "No... no no no no no!" Adrian kept saying, unable to keep the tears from rolling down his face. "R-Relax, Adri... it's not... that bad..." Shoutmon said with a smile, trying to calm his partner down somewhat, but to no avail. "You have a hole in your chest, Shoutmon, that's the opposite of 'not that bad'!" Adrian yelled back, not understanding how Shoutmon could be so dismissive about such a big injury. Adrian himself wasn't sure what to do with such an injury like this. He could hear the others fighting Omegamon either behind or right above him, which just added more onto the guy's stress levels. "Heheh... you know... getting hit by a laser attack sucks so much," Shoutmon said, trying to keep the mood light enough in this awful situation. "Just stop, Shoutmon, please. This isn't a good time to be joking around right now, you're really hurt!"
"I'm just trying to... help you not freak out..."
"Well, it's not working!" Adrian looked up to Luna, the one who was able to heal Luneth when he too was in a close to death state. For the time being, unless something drastic happened, it looked like Adrian and Shoutmon were out of the fight.

Having incapacitated the RedMagnamon with his cannon shot, Omegamon Zwart D shifted his attention away from the fallen dragon to track the other four oppon-no, now there were apparently FIVE now, the Daemon somehow splitting a piece of itself off into another Mega-level foe. This was starting to get on Omegamon’s nerves, seeing as no matter how many times he incapacitated one foe, they’d either get healed up ir another would come in to replace them.
Despite this anger, Omegamon remained in control pf himself enough to bring up his Brave Shield once more to protect himself from Panimon’s flames and Daemon’s charge attack. However, the shield was not enough to stop Dust’s attack as his punch managed to break through Omegamon’s shield, shattering it as the Beelzemon sent Omegamon flying upwards with a powerful uppercut to the chest that even managed to crack Omegamon’s armor, allowing a sickly red glow to seep from the wound.
In the air, the black knight was powerless to protect himself from Luna and Saya’s arrows, all of which embedded themselves all over Omegamon’s body before he slammed back into the ground. Despite the barrage, the Virus Hunter was still able to get back on his feet while pulling the arrows out one by one, although the fact he was swaying on his feet meant that he was likely nearing his last legs. Omegamon Zwart cooldowns:
-Virus Buster (passive): Omegamon Zwart D's attacks deal 25% more damage to all Virus-attribute opponents. -Dark Knight (passive): Omegamon Zwart D's basic attacks deal as much damage as 0-CD named attacks. -Brave Shield: Omegamon Zwart D projects a large holographic shield from its left shoulder in order to protect itself from multiple incoming attacks. 3 post cooldown. Daemon had figured this would end up being the outcome of the combined assault between herself and Anzu's Ultimate form. It had been a long while since that shield had come into play, but they certainly were not out of tricks just yet. Panimon let out a cackle at the seemingly growing annoyance of her foe. "What's wrong? Did you think I'd be so -stupid- to go down so easily? That I didn't have some WICKED SICK tricks up my sleeve? What a fool you are! I may not be a god, but I'm one of the queen bitches around these parts! I'M the guardian of this place! You? You're nothing, now! A shadow of the past to be put to sleep!" And she made a few gestures, a ball of some sticky, oil-like substance forming in her hand before she chucked it towards Omegamon. Catch! At that same time, Daemon swiped another Card Slash--activating another Digital Hazard before she hurled a fireball at that same time! If the ball hit, Omegamon'd find themselves COVERED IN OIL while a fireball's heading for them. A BOOSTED ONE at that. Hopefully, that would work to keep the bastard's attention away from the fallen.

Two turn duration on the substance remaining on the opponent. Two turn cooldown. Algol’s Flame: Daemon shoots forth a fireball from her hands, or her mouth. The fireball explodes upon contact with anything, be it the enemy or the ground, and the fires comprising this are hot enough that not even ash is left behind. One post cooldown. Durations: Digital Hazard - 0/3 Echoes - 1/3 Cooldowns: Savage Recompense - 3/3 Seventh Graviton - 2/2 Red Comet - 1/2 Algol's Flame - 0/1 Stygian Flame - 1/1 Douse the Guilty - 0/2 (When the duration ends)

Dust felt a weird mixture of sick satisfaction and disgust as his fist landed true, slamming into the Omegamon through his shield and into his gut, a sickening red glow emanating from the wound simply pushed the thought further as Dust simply landed, turning away in small disgust at his own action, looking at his fist as that dark aura surrounded him. " Terrible power, has its uses." As Dust mentioned that he clenched his fist letting the power roar to life once more, doubt left his mind once again as he faced towards his target. He hardly even noticed Shoutmon go down, not to his fault mind you his mind was simply locked in combat at the moment as his opponent seemed to be on their last legs, Luna's words echoed in Dust's mind for a moment, surely, she would wish to spare even this digimon if she could. There was some small part of Dust that wished he saw that as an option but, their mind seemed to be in tatters, stuck in the past faliures, thinking what they're doing is just. No, the best thing he could do now was send them on their way to be reincarnated. So with that, while his ally was yelling at them Dust made his way quickly behind Omegamon, lifing his hand to the sky before simply muttering. " Destructive Force" With that the immedite area around Dust would erupt and explode, that same swelling dark power that was around him would expand outward with a massive amount of force and destructive energy till it consumed all within its path, which would include Omegamon. Attacked from both angles. Luna and Saya Meanwhile didn't see a need to continue attacking, they broke off from the fight instantly and in mere moments made their way over to Adrian and Shoutmon. " Don't worry, we're here." Luna flew down with her weapon quickly vanishing, discarded for a moment as the two of them looked over Shoutmon. Saya however seemed very, unnerved by what she saw. The hole in his chest, fighting was one thing but seeing this was a whole nothing. Without even waiting for her mother to check Shoutmon out Saya raised her hand up, before throwing it to the side as a familiar sigil would appear underneath them all. " Awaken, let the past woes ebb away into an eternal night, replaced by dreams under the full moons glow. Lunar Dream." Saya finished as for a brief moment darkness would envelop around Shoutmon and them all, but only for a moment as a small light shone through the darkness right above the wounded digimon, a small moon in the air that shined down upon them. Then all at once, Shoutmon would be back to normal. The wounds he felt before would feel like nothing but a bad dream. " Saya, you should've let me heal him. If you get hurt you'll need it t-" Luna stopped as she looked over at the Mastemon, hand fallen to her side but it was pretty clear to see. She was shaking, badly. Just the sight of someone getting hurt like that seemed to disturb the young digimon. Luna cut her words and simply nodded to herself before saying. " No, I get it. I probably did things the same way when I was younger." Turning her attention to Adrian Luna decided to address him instead of letting Saya do it, she didn't seem up to it at the moment. " He should be perfectly fine once he wakes up, just like what happened to Luneth it'll all feel like just a bad dream." She reassured the human, after all he had seen what she'd done before and, while it was Saya who performed the spell it seemed exactly the same.

Although Shoutmon was in an immense amount of pain at the moment, he thankfully would not go ignored for long. Both Luna and Saya had broken away from the fight to go and heal him, much to Adrian's delight. "Thank you both so much," Adrian said, knowing how powerful of a healer Luna is, and assumed Saya was. Shoutmon said nothing, but raised up his right arm and gave a shaky thumbs up. Adrian watched as Saya performed the healing spell. A magic sigil of hers appeared underneath them, before a brief darkness surrounded them. It wouldn't be long before the light came back, in the form of a small moon that shone above them. It was exactly like the spell they used to heal Luneth when he was attacked by Grandmaster. And just like that, Shoutmon's wounds were gone. He looked down at his chest, perplexed at the feeling of that immense pain feeling like it never even happened to begin with, like it were a dream. "Whoa..." Shoutmon muttered, clearly impressed by the ability. "Shoutmon!" Adrian cried as he pulled in his partner for a hug, which the startled red dragon eventually accepted. "You have to stop scaring me like that..."
Luna then tried to tell Saya that she should've let her mother heal Shoutmon, but both he and Adrian could see how shaken the angel was by the ordeal... just like how Adrian was shaken moments ago. Adrian looked up at Saya and gave her a genuine smile. "Thank you so much, Saya. You saved my partner's life."
Now that Shoutmon was all healed, he could get back into the fight, right? Well, probably not. You see, while Shoutmon was being healed, Daemon and Dust would both use their abilities to utterly decimate the Omegamon, who already looked like he was on his last legs to begin with. While Adrian was glad the others were still holding their own, Shoutmon looked visibly upset. "I should've been able to do more," he said to Adrian. "I'm supposed to be stronger than this... aren't I?" "Well..." Adrian responded. Of course, this would be likely to be interrupted very soon...

Alright, now Omegamon was at his wit’s end (not that he had much to spare in his current state). Why the hell would none of his foes just stay down?! It was only once he saw Saya healing RedMagnamon’s chest wound that Omegamon realized the flaw in his tactics. Obviously, he should’ve focused on taking out the two obvious healers first. A bit late to be realizing this, but there was nothing he could do about it now other than correct his strategy. The corrupted knight aimed his cannon directly at the traumatized Saya and began charging it up, only to be interrupted as he was doused in some kind of sticky goop. Was this… tar? The Knight was confused as to what Panimon was thinking, until he saw the hellish fireball heading his way. “Well, shi-" Omegamon started to say, his curse cut short as the fireball promptly set him ablaze. The burning knight writhed in agony as he desperately attempted to re-aim his cannon at Saya. However, Dust’s explosive blast of energy ended up hitting the Supreme Cannon mid-charge, causing a massive explosion that sent Omegamon flying. Upon landing, Omegamon struggled to his feet as he inspected the damage to his cannon… only to be shocked as he learned that said cannon no longer existed. The explosion from Dust’s attack hitting the half-charged cannon ended up causing a chain reaction that utterly destroyed Omegamon’s right arm below the elbow. Omegamon was in utter shock as he stared at his ruined arm. The flames eating away at his body almost seemed to fade away as the dark knight was lost in his own thoughts. Was this… really how his story would end? Years, decades, centuries dedicated to his mission of eradicating threats to the Digital World, only to lose to two of the very Digimon he swore to destroy and their accomplices? I refuse.Omegamon would NOT let this battle end in such a pathetic way! As a Royal Knight… no, Omegamon had to admit the fact that he no longer deserved that title. However, he absolutely refused to go down without dragging at least ONE of those Demon Lords with him. Snapping back to reality, Omegamon Zwart D let out a primal roar as cracks began forming all over his body. All of his broken armor shattered off of his body at once, leaving his inner wireframe exposed, before the shards all flew back onto his body and reassembled themselves in a new form. With his body now restored through sheer determination and burning fury, Omegamon Alter-B readied his weapons even as the burning napalm still slowly ate away at his new body, preparing to continue the battle once more.
Omegamon Zwart/Alter-B passives: -Restoration Protocol (passive): Omegamon Alter-B's body contains a data-restoration program that can slowly repair his body over time, passively restoring ~5% of his HP per turn. Due to partial data corruption over the years, this ability is no longer able to work with Omegamon's Zwart/Zwart D form, hence why that form became so damaged/degraded.
-Dark Knight (passive): Omegamon Alter-B's basic attacks deal as much damage as 0-CD named attacks.Active cooldowns: -Brave Shield: Omegamon Zwart D projects a large holographic shield from its left shoulder in order to protect itself from multiple incoming attacks. 3 post cooldown. (1/3) -Supreme Cannon 2/5 -Freezing Tomahawk: 3/3 -All Delete: No longer useable. -A Burning Spirit, Reignited: Omegamon Zwart D is so dedicated to his mission that he simply refuses to die, even if hit with a fatal blow. This sheer determination will restore a spark that had long been thought lost, returning him to full health while transforming him into his Omegamon Alter-B form. There is only so much that sheer willpower can do, though, so Omegamon can only pull off this trick once.

Admittedly, there was a point of plausible deniability in regards to this specific situation. One could not expect an undead Royal Knight to not have some tricks up their sleeves when it came to the subject of a second, truer death. Is it over? The human portion of Daemon's consciousness dared to ask. It was a genuine question. Despite having been at the peak of her power for so long, Akemi Amaya had never had a reason to really bring it to bear until this day. No. It's not over yet. The Digimon replied. It was far from over, given the Omegamon got back up, and assumed a form beyond that of a husk. A blackened knight but a knight regardless. "A true opponent. Finally!" Daemon laughed! This thing could kill her a hundred times over, and she was laughing! And she dared to even power herself up, fire and shadow wreathing her limbs as she activated a buff that...honestly made her form more horrific to look at. In the meantime? Panimon would throw their hand outward, a lance of multi-colored, near prismatic power shooting for Omegamon. She didn't care if this'd kill her, but she really didn't respect any who would dare call themselves Royal Knights. To Anzu, this world had no need for such. Not when she was around.
And five, the emotions instilled upon this only last for three rounds.
Daemon KEEPS BUFFING HERSELF. Panimon attacks with Black Hand! Black Hand: An ‘upgrade’ of sorts to Mephistomon’s Black Sabbath. Panimon throws her hand forward as she fires forth a lance of that same multicolored energy that Mephistomon made use of. One turn cooldown. Inferno Burst: Daemon briefly transforms into a horrific cross between her current form and a blazing demon god by setting herself aflame. Apart from the obvious ramifications that touching someone who is currently lit aflame might bring, Daemon enjoys a 30% increase to her speed and offensive capabilities for three turns. Three turn cooldown. Durations: Digital Hazard - 1/3 Echoes - 2/3 Inferno Burst - 0/3 Cooldowns: Red Comet - 2/2 Algol's Flame - 1/1 Douse the Guilty - 0/2 (When the duration ends)

Omegamon should count his lucky star that Dust had not seen him try and aim at his daughter, through the dark aura of the explosion and the additional eruption of his cannon Dust had managed to miss what the fallen knight was aiming for. However Luna hadn't as she seemed to of already stepped out in front of Saya, thankfully due to Dust's attack the cannon blew up and sent Omegamon into the ground, causing the trio to lower their guards for a moment and take a small breath. Though after a moment Dust stood up fully, hand scratching and covering the left side of his face as he let out an annoyed growl. " I know that's not all the power you have, get the hell back up." Dust lowered his hand once again letting darkness flow this his entire digital core, he had only a little bit of time left with this power so he had to do what he can with it. " For the sake of those digimon you've hunted, I'm NOT letting you get off that easy." A mind focused on destruction, anger and hatred. Suffice to say Dust wanted to beat the shit out of him even more. And just like Dust had requested, Omegamon got back up. Letting out a powerful roar as his form shifted and changed to a new form, battle damage done to the previous form seemed to fade away as he was left standing tall. Luna was determined to fight, once again getting her weapon ready as she stared down the dark knight. Saya on the otherhand seemed more hesitant then before, might've had something to do with the fact she had lost her buffer in case she got hurt, she couldn't revive anymore. Sure her mom could but just like her Luna could only do it once. Still despite the doubts creeping into the young digimon's mind of the fight ahead, looking past the Omegamon she saw her father simply punch his hand into his open palm getting ready to give Omegamon everything he had, that was enough to comfort her for now at least as she let her own power erupt around her, letting everything rush through her for a moment as she prepared for a fight. Dust was first, using Panimon's array of colorful spears as cover as the dark aura around him grew to a near critical mass, should the spears hit or miss Dust would follow up on tham regardless with a vicious haymaker aimed squarely at Omegamon's waist aiming to smash into him and knock the knight down. Luna meanwhile had once against started to cast a spell, muttering and speaking in pure coding language as she focused energy on Dust and Daemon. " Shield of darkness, grant them your blessing." Luna spoke aloud as she threw her arm to one side, forcing a barrier of darkness to surround Dust and Daemon. While the barrier wouldn't block too much damage from the knight it wasn't for that, it was to grant them the attack power increase again. Best give it to the two digimon currently in active combat after all. Saya on the otherhand was focused on attacks for now, holding her hands out in front of her before charging power of light and dark between her two hands. " Equilibrium, strike true." As she said that a sword both black and white would appear above Omegamon's head for just a moment before flying downwards aiming to impale them in the head.

Adrian and Shoutmon watched as the combined attacks of Daemon, Saya, and Dust dealt a considerable amount of damage to Omegamon, sending him flying in the process. The Virus Hunter landed a considerable distance away from the party, and the duo truly believed that the fight was going to be over. By all means, they should've been happy. But for Shoutmon, something seemed to be bothering him after the fight seemed to have ended. "I was useless," Shoutmon confided to his partner. "I was the weak link the entire time, and only when I was relying on Omni's power was I able to actually do something important. I was so bad, I had to be brought back to life by Saya. I thought I was strong enough to help when all I did was get in the way."
"Shoutmon-"
Whatever Adrian was about to say was interrupted by a loud primal roar, from none other than Omegamon Zwart himself. The black armor on his body cracked and shattered off, revealing nothing but a wire frame underneath, before those pieces were all reassembled on him, giving Omegamon Zwart a new form. The Virus Hunter had gotten a second wind, and was ready for a round two. "Oh, no..."
Naturally, everyone else was up and ready to start firing more of their attacks at what was now Omegamon Zwart Alter-B. Normally Shoutmon would've gotten right back up to Mega level to join them, but right now, he was content just sitting back and watching everyone else do their thing. "Shoutmon, shouldn't we get back into the fight?"
"What's the point? The others got it handled already," Shoutmon said.
"So what, that means you're just going to give up?" Adrian asked. "Raise up the white flag and admit defeat?"
"It's not admitting defeat, it's staying back and let the other actually strong ones take that thing on. Tell me, what's one thing I accomplished while fighting against that thing?"
Now this was something that Adrian didn't have an answer for. The first thing he could think of was his combo attack with Daemon against Zwart that managed to crack his mask, but he was also very confident that Daemon could've done that all on their own. In spite of this Adrian shook his head. "That doesn't matter here! The Shoutmon I know would never run from a fight."
"I'm NOT NEEDED, Adrian! Can't you see that?! Daemon's fighting like hell even though they're injured, and Luna, Dust, and Saya are like a trio of pain and healing together! And they're ALL fighting Zwart already! Where do I fit in to any of that, huh?"
"Shoutmon... if Zwart wins, he's going to go after Gem. After all our Virus type friends. Are you really willing to risk it?"
Shoutmon could feel his heart skip a beat at that response. "No... but I'm not strong enough..."
"Well, then I'll just simply lend you my strength," Adrian suggested, offering his hand to his Digimon partner. "For once, let me fight with you, Shoutmon. I'll stand right by your side, offer you all of my power. You won't have to worry about being strong enough again." In response to this, Shoutmon lifted his own hand, hesitating for a moment, but eventually accepting Adrian's hand.
[Matrix Evolution]
Suddenly, a bright light engulfed both Adrian and Shoutmon, a pillar of light that shot right into the darkened sky of the Dark Area. Inside this bright light, Adrian's Digivice began to glow before surrounding both him and Shoutmon in a digital sphere. "Matrix Evolution!"
"Shoutmon Shinkaaaaaaai!"
Once the pillar of light had dissolved, Adrian and Shoutmon no longer stood at that spot. In their place stood a new Digimon; a silver draconian-humanoid Digimon with yellow eyes, a flowing red cape, and a unique looking golden sword. "Slayerdramon!"
Slayerdramon, now fully evolved, glared right at the Virus Hunter with an angry look in his eyes once the others' attacks had finished. Saying no words, he simply took his sword and dashed forward, slashing Zwart Alter-B right through the abdomen with his extendable sword. "Dash Slash!"

Still ignoring the burning napalm covering his body, Omegamon swiftly leaped backward to avoid the rainbow-colored lance Panimon threw at him. “That won’t be enough to stop me anymore, devil!”
Meanwhile, Dust chose that moment to follow Panimon’s attack up with another haymaker. However, the blackened knight had grown wise to Dust’s fighting style, and this time he used his foe’s predictability to his advantage. Omegamon stood still, making no visible attempt to dodge, only to quickly extend his Supreme Sword into Dust’s abdomen at the last second (even as Dust’s fist made contact with Omegamon’s abdomen in turn), Omegamon grabbing the base of the blade with his BlitzGreymon arm in order to run an electric current through the blade and into Dust’s body. If the blade actually managed to impale Dust, then Omegamon would also attempt to lift Dust into the path of the sword Saya was attempting to drop on his head.
Despite electrocuting Dust with his makeshift taser, the light from Adrian and Shoutmon’s biomerge would be impossible for the fallen Royal Knight to miss. Omegamon barely had time to make eye contact with the Slayerdramon before the Biomerge’s blade tore into Omegamon’s shoulder and sent him flying (freeing Dust if he was still on the blade).
Despite the damage to his sword arm, Omegamon got back to his feet and locked eyes with Slayerdramon once more. “So you’ve managed to unleash a higher level of power? And here I thought you had come to your senses by allowing me to eliminate these vile Demon Lords. A shame.”
Omegamon Zwart/Alter-B passives:

Due to partial data corruption over the years, this ability is no longer able to work with Omegamon's Zwart/Zwart D form, hence why that form became so damaged/degraded.
-Dark Knight (passive): Omegamon Alter-B's basic attacks deal as much damage as 0-CD named attacks.
Active cooldowns:
-Lightning Blade: Omegamon Alter-B uses his BlitzGreymon arm to electrify his Supreme Sword as the dark knight stabs the sword into his opponent. In addition to hurting the target, the electric current running through the blade acts like a taser that temporarily scrambles the victim's data flow to prevent them from using named abilities for one turn. 5 post CD (2 for damage, 3 for the stun effect). 0/5 -Brave Shield: (2/3) -Supreme Cannon 3/5 -All Delete: No longer useable. -A Burning Spirit, Reignited: no longer useable.
