Southern Tropics…
A lone MarineAngemon playing in the water noticed something odd on the beach, spurring the little Mega to float out of the water to check it out. Upon closer examination, it appeared to the arm of a Kenkimon sticking out of the sand, rusted and worn down with time. The little MarineAngemon was worried that the owner of the arm might be in trouble, buried in the sand like that, so they quickly started pulling on the arm to free the Kenkimon, only to realize in horror that the arm wasn't attached to anything as it was pulled free of the sand and fell over.
The MarineAngemon wasn't going to give up on the Kenkimon, though, as he had a trick up its sleeve. the aquatic angel scrunched their eyes shut in concentration as they bestowed a Revival Blessing upon the arm, a holy pillar of light bathing the severed arm in order to regenerate its body. Imbued with the holy power, the arm glowed as it shrank down and reshaped itself into the form of an unconscious Hagurumon.
Hagurumon POV:
Data groaned as he slowly regained consciousness. The last thing he remembered was fighting that MarineDevimon underwater, so why was it so bright out? He opened his eyes, only to be startled by a MarineAngemon staring him in the face in concern. Data quickly floated into the air and backed away in surprise, only to notice that he was back in his Hagurumon form. Hm, he must have lost to MarineDevimon and washed ashore, then.
Remembering the MarineAngemon, Data quickly gave the little guy a sheepish look. “Sorry about that, you just startled me. Did you heal me? I know I shouldn’t be in such good shape after getting my butt kicked out there.”
The MarineAngemon quickly nodded in agreement, happy that their new friend was okay.
“Ugh, I got beaten by a squid! Hana’s never gonna let me live that mess down…” Data muttered, only to freeze as he realized the obvious fact that it was only him and the MarineAngemon on the beach. “Wait, Hana! Oh Yggdrasil, she must be worried sick!”
If Hana and the others weren’t there anymore, then they must have left without him. If they didn’t find him before now, then they must have thought he was dead! Or worse, the MarineDevimon got to them… no! That was a thought that Data refused to finish!
"I’m sorry, little guy, but I need to get home! My family’s probably worried sick about me!” Data quickly said to MarineAngemon, who looked sad that Data had to leave so soon. However, the MarineAngemon knew how important family was and quickly waved goodbye to Data before returning to the ocean.
Shibuya:
It took several days to get back to Terminus via Trailmon, but Data never gave up, eventually using the Terminus trailmon station to return to Shibuya. He was on a mission to find his way home and reunite with his family!
And yet, as the Hagurumon wandered the shadows of Shibuya under the moonlight, Data couldn’t help but notice how everything seemed off in the city. Some stores were gone, replaced with completely different ones, and lots of noticeably reference points seemed to have been shifted around or redecorated.
"No, no, no! Everything's wrong!" Data quietly muttered as he moved around in circles. "How long have I been gone?!"
Revival Blessing: MarineAngemon summons a pillar of holy light to restore the body of another Digimon. As long as even a tiny piece of the target remains, their body will be fully restored and revived in pristine condition Once per thread (not that it really matters, since MarineAngemon is not going to reappear in this thread anyways).
