Get Out Of The Water! [Plot] [FULL]

Post by Sandiramon on Sept 11, 2014 5:29:08 GMT
In the human world, the month of September has reared its ugly head once again upon most of the Earth's climate once again. That meant, the hot summer weather was disappearing, and the beginnings of a cold winner were just beginning to brew, starting with the changing of the leaves. What this meant for the beach-side city of Whitewater, was that there was an influx of humans and their Digimon partners trying to escape the budding cold of the other side. This, along with the city's regular population, made for an overly populated, very dense, constant crowd.
Perfect to cause some trouble.
About a kilometer out from the beach, deep below the sand that was camouflaged by the ocean, an evil Digimon slithered towards the vacation spot.
"Ssssso he wants humans does he? Give the ssservants the difficult job while he getsss the reward... bassstard."
Finally reaching the beach, the reptilian Digimon could feel the vibrations of hundreds of tiny pitter-patters as hundreds of Digimon and humans enjoyed their time on the beach. His tongue flecked out, feeling for a certain spot in the sand, the perfect spot. The one place he could begin causing havoc. Tunneling forward a few meters, he smirked a wide and long smirk. This was it.
Above ground, the beach house right in the center of the beach was serving up their usual hotdog special, an enormous line spanned the beach as people waited to fill their empty stomachs. The hot, blistering sun had many humans and Digimon alike sweating to the point of practically being walking puddles. Little did they know that their day was going to become a disaster in a few short moments.
"Concussive Blast!
The voice couldn't be heard, but from deep below it was roaring. Suddenly piles and piles of sand erupted into data from below the beach house. In a fiery explosion, the wood and stone that constructed the popular destination were nothing but just mounds of data as well, left to float in the sky. About thirty humans and Digimon were all caught in the blast, particles of data flew everywhere while some bodies lay on the ground motionless, or at least they wished they were. He would deal with them later.
The beach soon erupted into chaos. Roars of people and Digimon trying to escape deeper into the city, or as far away as possible. People tripping and falling over each other. Pain, suffering, crying, just the perfect sounds he liked to hear. His targets had created their own deathtrap, their own escape depended on how calm they could be and well, they all failed. This was their pandemonium.
Rising from the newly created hole, slithering his way from the deep, darkness of the subterranean levels of the Digital World, emerged a great snake. It was about the size of two buses, mostly white in colour though its underbelly and the top of its head were purple crested with gold. The snake Digimon hissed as others cowered at the sight of him. A few effortless blasts of fire struck him against the chest, which were promptly met with another Concussive Blast, creating yet another small crater sized hole in the sandy beach, exploding another dozen or so humans and Digimon into either bloody pulps, or data clouds.
Crawling forwards several feet, mowing down an Agumon that was trying to run away, he rose to his full length, hissing loudly to the crowd,
"I, Sandiramon, welcome you all to your final destination! All of your data shall make a wonderful gift to the master...." he spoke.
He looked around, noticing that nobody was challenging him. Everyone was running, most of them towards the city. Perfect, that was where he would be heading soon enough.
"Well....shall we begin?' Sandiramon questioned as he dove forward, engulfing a Tsukaimon in his gluttonous mouth before beginning his ravage of the beach.
Slowly but surely, his path of destruction was going to lead him far from this beach side resort and straight to the heart of Whitewater City.
Concussive Blast: An extremely powerful explosive blast that is fired from Sandiramon's mouth. It is capable of obliterating environmental data easily, and also has been seen to render Rookies into data quickly and also shred humans. Champions will be able to withstand a few hits from this, but not much. Ultimates and above are really the only true contenders for the first showing of this Deva's power.

UFADO could smell the ocean nearby. Many digimon spoke of the wonder of the sea and the heavenly smell of the beach or the horros of the depths of the ocean. But UFADO felt nothing towards it. It was disappointing, but UFADO hardly had feelings beyond anger. The beauty of the sunset in the distance only showed how slow the world was, at least from where UFADO stood. And he stood on top of an Ikakumon who he had just beaten.
"Please tell me I am about to see something more interesting than this." UFADO complained to the Ikakumon.
"You don`t like it? I think it`s beautifull, maginificent. Like you in fact..." the Ikakumon replied.
"Oh really? Don`t try those tricks on me, this is my third life in this world, so I will not be fooled by such a cheap trick." UFADO stated
"But maybe..."
"No maybe! I heard there was a Royal Knight who came here to check on a treasure."
"We have banks with lot`s of money, I could go and lift some for you if you let me go."
"I have no interest in Money. I`m looking for something far more important: the final piece of my body."
Suddençy UFADO heard screams from near Whitewater City. They felt familiar, and UFADO realised the city was being attacked. But then again, why would he care about that? Less guards to stop him from finding what he wanted. Still, the population`s screams... so sweet. He could never Forget the sound of the first village his destroyed.
"Are these screams usual?" UFADO asked the Ikakumon
"What screams? I don`t think they are familiar." the Ikakumon replied
"Very well, where did the Royal Knight go to see the "treasure"?"
"I don`t know, I...I..."
"Very well then. Great Slayer!"
UFADO`s claws grew gigantic and he slashed the Ikakumon with them. He had no time to deal with something as useless as that digimon. He had to find his body. And maybe to see the cause of that sweet panic. As he began to walk towards the city, UFADO returned to his rookie form to mantain the appearances. He didn't this turn into another boring, pointless fight.

When I wiped the tears from my eyes The warm water took me by surprise And I woke up beside the ocean
AJ tugged at the blacks straps running around her neck, hoisting up her bikini. She blushed slightly and fidgeted. She was not much for swimwear. Sure, she had been swimming before in the human world, but her parents usually demanded she wear something more modest. She had traded her usual Digital World traveling clothes for something more suitable for the beachy environment at the shack.
Her azure gaze slid over to Patch was digging in the sand. AJ couldn't help but smile at his orange swim trunks riding up to under his arms. With his clawed-gloves, he was quite the sight to see. He had exclaimed excitedly earlier that day that it was a perfect day for the beach. She had just looked at him like he was crazy, but then he explained that in the Digital World, there was a place where it was like summer all day long. So she had told her parents she would at school late working on a project. After school let out, they made their way over to the train station to get to the Digital World.
They had selected a spot among the crowded sand and spread out a blanket along with a few beach toys and their basket of food. AJ knew that the food wouldn't last long, so she took out a sandwich and began to nibble on it. After she was thoroughly satisfied, she lowered her sunglasses down on her nose and laid back.
It could have been five minutes, or it could have been five hours. The Italian teen couldn't really tell because she had so been enjoying the sun against her skin when the screams erupted around them. She jolted right up, sunglasses falling to the ground. Her blue orbs search around for Patch, but he was already bounding towards her, a serious expression.
AJ frowned and grabbed her backpack and D3 from their place on the towel. The other stuff could wait. Bounding down the beach, they stopped short when they came to the site of massive wreckage. Just earlier they had stood in line to get food and now it was nothing but a pile of rubble. Data streamed upwards and bodies lay crumbled.
The fifteen-year-old tamer bit her lip as bile climbed her throat. Her whole body shook with anger. Whoever did this would pay! She glanced over at Patch and nodded. He grinned widely and ran forward, shucking off the orange board shorts as he did. Switching into a four-pawed run, he leapt into the air. "MIkemon shinka! Leomon!"
[OOC: I'll have him digivolve to SaberLeomon when the fight gets a bit rougher.]

Post by Duffer & Kotemon on Sept 11, 2014 13:13:40 GMT
A day at the beach, normally Duffer and Kotemon would be here for swimming and enjoying themselves... problem is that Duffer had seen this premise plenty of times. He'd seen the panicking beach-goers as they fled from the sea, dressed poorly, dressed in black, dressed in blood. They'd all been enjoying themselves moments before the killer, be it a wayward group of radioactive people in rubber suits or a vicious and ravenous shark-like creature, something would always go wrong when the beach was either completely filled or completely barren.
"You're being paranoid." Kotemon said, frowning at the tamer. "Not every day at the beach ends with a loony slitting peoples' throats." "Yeah, sometimes it ends with being eaten alive. I'm not into that but if you are, go right ahead, Kotemon. Jump right in. It's a buffet for a horrific monster." "You're being irrational." Kotemon assured. "It's completely safe here. Just because you saw that movie about sharks attacking a flooded grocery store doesn't mean that every ocean immediately has dangerous stuff in it." "Oh yeah? Well what about Godzilla? He came from the ocean!" "Who? Oh, you mean the man in a suit who hates model cities? Yeaaah, real likely to be attacked by him. Get in the water." "It's not a man in a suit! It's a real monster Kotemon, a real monster that has been assaulting these poor innocent people of japan because we decided to nuke them! Who knows what all that radiation had done to the digital world!" "I'm not a nuclear physicist bu-"
Before Kotemon could point out how irrational this tamer was being, how nuclear science doesn't work that way, and how the digital world was nowhere near the locations that were assaulted by nukes in WW2 (having neither been connected to the human world or even properly developed past Botamon and digi-eggs (which came first is still debated)), Duffer's paranoia proved correct by the flood of terrified beach-goers. Unhappy with this development, the mon grabbed Duffer by the ear and began dragging him towards whatever the crowds were running from, not letting the tamer have the chance to say "I told you so."

Ryouta found himself back to Whitewater again. He was hoping to spend some little time in the warm climate place for a little bit now that it's starting to approach Fall. But that day, what transpired isn't some peaceful or something heartwarming the slightest. It's slaughter in cold blood. Ryouta's fist clenched. Why would a Digimon do this to another Digimon? No, that's a question that even he have the answer. Someone is happy with all of this destruction. For whatever justification they use, he really can't forgive them.
"Aniki... those poor peoples, let's go save them!"
"Yeah, let's go!"
The silverish gripped D-3 let out blinding light bars that ascends to the sky followed by some digital glyph, producing particles that looks crystallish in nature. The particles descended to Dracomon's body, feeding him data of his more advanced form.
"Dracomon, Shinka! Coredramon!!"
One second, there was Dracomon. Another second, bigger dragon appears in his place. Ryouta climbed to his partner's back, who quickly speeds off to direction of the attack.

Ramon stood at the edge of the beach, the warm water and sand giving his feet both feelings of hot and cold. He sighed as he mulled over his current situation. So, he was stranded in a land completely unknown to him, as well as there cerrtainly being a lot of Digimon around this place, and every now and then there were humans as well. Ramon decided to go out on a limb and assume this was the Digital World that he had heard about from another Digimon once before.
How had he managed to get himself into his situation, exactly? Or, to be more precise, why had he made the ignorant decision to follow someone who'd disappeared into an alleyway, with a flash of light bursting forth mere seconds later? One moment he was near the campus, and the next, completely alone in a world alien and strange. Well, maybe strange wasn't the best way to put it. The warm sandy beach and the cool breeze felt quite refreshing, and in a way, made being in a world very alien to him less unsettling.
The city behind him reminded Ramon very much of places he'd been before back in Mexico. Granted, those places didn't have Digimon in them, but the memory helped keep him complacent. Not long after taking a trip down his mental state, Ramon's face bolted. An incredibly loud noise emanated from further on down the beach, around a bend towards a different part of the city. Ramon was starting to get the feeling that it wasn't a good sign.

Sandiramon hissed fiercely as he rummaged his way throughout the beach. Hundreds of Digimon and human's around him continued to run away, but there were a few that decided to stand against him. They were promptly obliterated of course, what else would honestly happen? There was one Angemon who managed to get one of his sickly annoying Hand of Fate's in. Sandiramon's eyes flecked towards the Angemon who continued to drive his fist into the Deva's cheek.
"Treasssure Lance"
Sandiramon's tail coiled as a bright white light appeared within the coils. A few seconds later and a large lance appeared, gripped in his tail as if it was a hand. He flourished the weapon around like a skilled knight before plunging it deep through the Angemon's chest. The champion groaned as the blade carved through him. As Sandiramon ripped out the lance, Angemon exploded.
He laughed as the data fell to the ground around him. This little dirty work for Zephyrus could be fun after all. He was getting much closer to the entry way to the core of Whitewater, just a few more explosions and several more feet to go, and he'd be in. Turning his head, he released another Concussive Blast into the crowd. Fire, human, and data appeared to explode in all different directions as he moved along.
"Isss there no one worthy of at leassst ssserving good data to the masster?"
It was then that he felt it. You see, a lot of times, when a Digimon Divivolves, you can sense it. But there is a difference for certain Digimon. Certain solo Digimon who have attuned themselves with their own power, or tamers and spirit wielders, anyone with the power of a Digivice...their Digivolution's felt differently...influential..more powerful.
Turning his head, he spotted a Coredramon coming in fast from the distance. Though not an immediate threat, he would take it out in a few moments when it got here. The closest source of power was definitely the Leomon that had Digivolved nearby. It was in clear sight on the beach, it had probably been here with its tamer.
Perfect, Zephyrus did say to ensure to kill all the Tamers. The one's with access to Digivolution were the best treat. Sandiramon wasn't particularly sure if Leomon had made him a target yet, or if he was just trying to rescue people, but he was going to make sure that the Leomon noticed him.
"Poison Sink!"
Sandiramon gulped back a huge collection of bile before spitting it all up in a huge bubble that flew towards where the Leomon [and whoever else was nearby] was standing. This attack would explode against whatever it hit, creating an acidic puddle wherever the explosion sent the bile. Should it hit a Digimon below champion, they would be melted into data in seconds. To any other Digimon, it would be incredibly painful.
But alas....to a human...well, you don't want to find out.
Attacks
Concussive Blast: An extremely powerful explosive blast that is fired from Sandiramon's mouth. It is capable of obliterating environmental data easily, and also has been seen to render Rookies into data quickly and also shred humans. Champions will be able to withstand a few hits from this, but not much. Ultimates and above are really the only true contenders for the first showing of this Deva's power.
Treasure Lance: Sandiramon summons his treasured lance. It's power comes from the pure light it is made out of. He has a seemingly unlimited supply of these weapons and can summon a new one as soon as the previous leaves his hands.
Poison Sink: Spews a bubble of acidic bile. When the bubble explodes against whatever it hits, it erupts into an acidic puddle wherever the remnants splash.
Sorry for the late post :\

Flying data, flying blood, flying spears...and the screams! So much pleasure. Why didn`t he just continue his own massacres? Because he still needed his own body to be completed before he could. Still, he might be able to take some pleasure in this little fight.
As he saw the Sandiramon raiding the digimon who strived to defend the beach, UFADO felt tempted to go offer his help to the snake digimon in return for help getting his body back. But then he saw the new defenders coming and soon realised this had something different about them: they had tamers. UFADO decided to take a better look. He activated his second armor and flyed to see the tamers. A couple of them seemed familiar. He flyed towards the first, Ryouta and landed next to the human.
"Hello Ryouta. I hope you remember me, UFADO. This seems like an interesting fight. The invader is clearly outnumbered. I have my own business here, and I can`t say the mess is not helping my needs, making them easier. Perhaps a pact with this creature would assist my plans. But I am ready to offer you and your allies my assistance, provided you agree to let me take what I need from this city. I making you this offer, before I give to the snake, because of our possibly fundamenting encounters before." UFADO proposed to the boy. " I need to tell you, I wont be very patient."
Whatever the result, UFADO shortly flyed away to see the Sandiramon.
"Sandiramon!" UFADO shouted.

When I wiped the tears from my eyes The warm water took me by surprise And I woke up beside the ocean
AJ ran down the length of the beach. It was hard to keep up with the lion champion, especially with her fighting against all this sand. As she made her way down the beach, she came to an Agumon who had become trapped under some rubble. She quickly pulled at the pieces of wood and shoved them away. The Agumon quickly thanked her and ran back up towards the city.
Blue eyes danced around, looking for her partner. The white sand didn't help much since it was so blinding in the afternoon sunlight. But she did catch sight of someone familiar. It was a Japanese boy about her age, maybe just a year younger. "Ryouta!" she called and dashed across the sand. She blinked and gave a once over to the Coredramon he was riding on. Then it hit her! Babydmon must have digivolved since she last saw him! "Ryouta! It's me, AJ!" she said, waving with a smile.
That was when a strange Digimon she was unfamiliar with approached Ryouta and began speaking like they knew each other. She stood silently for a moment before the Digimon flew off. "What was that about?" she inquired.
Further down the beach, Patch's legs carried him swiftly across the sand, blazing blues dancing around and taking in the damage. What could have caused all this destruction? Well, whoever it was was going to pay! And just like that, he got his answer as the attack name reached his sensitive ears. His head swiveled around, eyes widened as he saw the poisonous bomb flying towards him. He hopped back a few feet, but not far enough that when the bomb exploded against the sand that he didn't get hit by the aftermath. A roar of pain escaped his lips as he was splattered with the burning, oozing goo. He shook it off, but his skin still burned fiercely. He growled, baring his fangs as he caught sight of the Sandrimon. "You'! You're the one who's doing this! You're gonna pay!" he yelled, rearing back to let loose a burning punch aimed straight at the snake. "Fist of the Beast King!"

Screaming, oh the screaming. Duffer had seen the movies, the comics, the video games, but the reality was not something they had braced him for. Screaming in horrific pain and agony Duffer watched innocents drop like flies in the horrible acidic spray. And the stench. Oh god, the horrible stench of acid and blood and data filling the air surrounding the bodies. The stench was unbearable, Duffer covered his mouth and nose with his shirt. "Kotemon! Digivolve!" He shouted, holding out the Digivice. In a burst of light Gladimon replaced the midget-like digimon with a now ball-like digimon covered in metal. Frankly, the both of them would hope Kotemon would digivolve to his next form sooner because he looked like a frigging idiot in this one.
"Duffy! Get away from here!" The mon shouted, which the tamer happily obliged. Hearing other human voices, Duffer went towards them, taking out his Japanese phrasebook as he stood besides the others, panting too hard to greet them.

"What are you on!?" Ryouta asked, clearly infuriated at the strange Digimon. "If you want to still force upon your perfection, go take it by yourself, I don't care! I'll eliminate the threat that killing everyone here! Coredramon! Stop him before he kill more innocents!" Ryouta ordered as he jumped down to the sand beside AJ. Momentarily, a symbol flashed on his chest. His silver-gripped D-3 suddenly shook greatly, changing the color to silver with light blue grips and shoot out greater data to Coredramon in shape of double helix, similar to DNA.
"Coredramon, Chou! SHINKA!!"
Coredramon body encased by crystal, slowly changing the form inside of it. The first to came out is his wings, followed by tail and lastly, his whole body. The leftover crystals on his face and chest turned into armor. Two orbs floated to his hands, which he quickly grabbed. With burst of light, a spear-like weapon appeared on his back.
"Wingdramon!!"
Ryouta watches as his partner flies at great speed, readying itself to hit Sandiramon. "AJ, what are you doing here!?" Ryouta apparently gaining his edge in English again, but that's not the main focus right now. They need to get away here as fast as they could before Sandiramon can get clear aim at them.
"Friction Blast!!" Wingdramon declared as it shoot down high pressured air blast at Sandiramon directly above the snake Digimon, soon followed by burning hot air right behind it. Hit or not, he'll be flying away, either way, he's not willing to be this crazy snake's practice target.

After spending a few minutes running as fast as possible toward the source of what Ramon at first assumed was some sort of explosion. He stopped, taking a moment to regain some of his energy, his face looking down at the sand beneath him. The thing he was not prepared for, however, was the scene of mass carnage and panic before him. When Ramon lifted his face, horror struck him, and he took a step back from what was laid out before him. There were what looked like injured Digimon everywhere, bits of little strange pixel like things coming off of them as they deteriorated.
Even worse, there were humans among them. Ramon clasped his hands over his mouth, not even being able to stomach what was in front of him. A moment later, he was crouched onto the ground, throwing up like a sick dog. His body wretched as stress built up inside it, trying to find some way of relieving the incredible tension building up. Death, destruction of both humans and Digimon alike, it was a new, horrifying experience for him.
"What.... WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"
Ramon stood up, his legs no longer as stout as before, and he felt shaky inside. His usual gusto was gone, mirroring everyone else on the beach in front of him. Ramon was tempted to go back the other way, every instinct was telling him to run, as far and as quickly as possible. There was something else, however, some feeling inside him that told him he had to keep going. If he fled now, he would be missing out on something important, although Ramon cursed the idea that he'd have to see potentially more of what was in front of him. That's when HE, appeared.
"My boy, you seem to be paralyzed with fear! I thought you wanted to see what was going on?"
Ramon turned around, his eyes wide, fear still deeply ingrained into his pupils. A tall, cloaked figure stood behind him, somewhat oddly shaped under the garb, but otherwise unrecognizable, save for some piercing blue eyes. For all Ramon knew, this person could have been a Digimon or a seriously beefed up human.
"How, how did'chu know I wanted to find out?"
"Hwah! Quite easy, really. There aren't many humans or Digimon who would WANT to investigate the source of an explosion. You... don't have a Digimon, do you?" the figure asked.
Ramon nodded in response, this guy had him pegged. Even if he had lied and told him that he did have a partner who was somewhere else, he might have asked to see his Digivice. Lying never was one of Ramon's strong points.
"I... I been looking for a while now, but yeah, no Digimon, or Digivice."
The blue eyes of the figure rose, in what looked to be curiosity, though Ramon could not be entirely sure.
"How interesting. No Digimon, no way to defend yourself, nothing. You're not even a tamer....but you want to be one, don't you? Why else would you have come to this world, or better yet, why would you not be seeking a way out? Perhaps... there is hope for you to become a tamer yet!" the strange figure exclaimed.
Reaching into the inside of his robe, the figure in front of Ramon took out a Digivice, plain as day. Ramon was a gasp, the thing he'd been searching for, right in front of his eyes?! Even more surprising, the figure extended his palm forward above Ramon, and dropped the Digivice, which Ramon caught in his right hand.
"Consider it a gift. I won't be helping you obtain a partner Digimon, but trust me, that should come easily enough." the black figure spoke, before suddenly disappearing from view in a burst of purple light.
Stunned, Ramon took a moment to process what had just happened. He'd actually been GIVEN a Digivice? Ramon stared at his hand for a moment before pocketing the device, and resuming his pace to the site of the explosion, which, for some reason, only seemed to be gaining more activity. ----- MEANWHILE -----
The azure colored Digimon stood at the peak of one of White Water City's many buildings, watching the chaos ensuing on the beach below as Sandiramon ravaged the area. Anger built up in the Digimon, but he forced himself to wait, now was not the time, not yet.
"I....must be patient."

Post by Sandiramon on Sept 22, 2014 2:03:07 GMT
It seemed like Sandiramon's havoc was being met with a full on challenge. This was perfect, he simply loved overpowering and defeating simple minded humans and their 'tamed Digimon'. Either way, these humans were going to have a lot more to deal with once he got just a little closer to the city. They were going to have to make a few choices if they...or the hundreds of others around them were going to survive.
As the Champion level Leomon proceeded with his declaration of challenge, Sandiramon didn't even bother to hiss back. He simply laughed, just what could a Champion do to him? He was an Ultimate, he was a Deva, blessed with even more additional strength thanks to Zephyrus. He would tear this beast asunder and laugh over its corpse later. Sandiramon reacted extremely quickly to the Fist of the Beast King attack heading straight for him. Diving towards the ground, he flattened himself against the sand, collapsing parts of his body to avoid the blast.
While slithering under the attack, Sandiramon hadn't noticed the Friction Blasts that had been targeted towards his previous position. He suddenly felt his tail growing rather hot, but regardless, he had dodged two birds with one stone. Sliding to the left and back towards the city. Okay, he thought, if they were all going to attack him, he'd give them something to do.
It was then that he heard his name called, he glanced around himself, looking for the voice when he saw UFADO flying somewhere near him. What was this? Another Digimon out to be the hero? He didn't have time for this, Sandiramon needs to up the stakes here. Zephyrus wanted far more data then this.
"Your converssation disssinterests me tiny Digimon." Sandiramon hissed, launching a smaller Concussive Blast in UFADO's direction before leaping backwards in a high arc fashion and diving face first into the sand, burrowing deep into it.
Now that he was out of sight, at high speeds Sandiramon made his way to the city. It was only a few seconds before he knew above him wasn't beach anymore. No, above his head was now streets, sidewalks, and most importantly buildings. The city was still crowded...let's see how these goody two shoes dealt with this one.
Suddenly, the streets and sidewalks within the city began to glow a bright orange before they exploded violently, data and rock chunks flying everywhere. Sandiramon erupted into his new terror zone, crashing to the ground in the middle of the street and continuing his massacre now within the streets of Whitewater. Looking for the nearest building, Sandiramon was delighted by the fact that he spotted what looked to be a twenty story one. Sliding on his side, he fired four well placed Concussive Blasts into the bottom of the building.
The explosions ruptured the supports holding the building together, in a few shorts seconds the entire thing creaked to its side before beginning its descent to the ground. Now all the people who attacked him had a choice. Continue attacking him, save the Digimon and Humans that would inevitably be trapped in this wreckage, or save themselves...
It was their choice.

The Sandiramon offended UFADO. Not only did it refuse to hear his proposal, but also it attacked him before he could insist. Now he would fight the snake digimon. Now he this was personal.
Having thrown back by the snake's attack, UFADO quickly recovered and flied to the place where the wingdramon.
"The sandiramon has offended me and I have not used this body for a decent fight in many years. I will assist you on your fight." UFADO told Ryouta's partner before flying towards the snake, who had just attacked a large building which was now falling. Did the snake actually expect UFADO to care about the people there? Pathetic.
"Tera Destroyer!" UFADO shouted, creating an orb of negative energy between his hands, which were raised up to the sky before he thrower the orb agaidnt the snake digimon. Without wasting time, the blackwargeymon used the momentum to charge down flying against the snadiramon using his other attack which he cried out "Dark Breaker!"
An aura of darkness covered UFADO. Given he could move during this attack it would be hard to dodge without ideal timing, which would be made extremly hard by UFADO's first attack.

When I wiped the tears from my eyes The warm water took me by surprise And I woke up beside the ocean
"AJ, what are you doing here!?"
"Patch and I wanted a day at the beach since fall is hitting back home. But I didn't know this would happen..." her voice dropped off the Digimon from earlier flew back towards them.
"The sandiramon has offended me and I have not used this body for a decent fight in many years. I will assist you on your fight."
AJ narrowed her eyes, clearly annoyed at this new Digimon. "Oh, so you only want to help because he pissed you off." She sneared at the BlackWarGreymon. "Whatever." She turned on her heel and dashed towards the shoreline where she saw Patch matching up against the Sandrimon. Her blue orbs widened as she watched the snake-like Digimon flatten against the sand and slither away to the city.
The Italian tamer came to stand beside her lion-like partner. She glanced up at the six-foot tall lion-man. "You okay?"
Patch nodded, glancing down at some singed hair on his forearm where the poisonness like ooze had splattered, but other than that, he seemed to be okay. AJ's gaze flickered towards the city, eyes widening as an orange glow overtook Whitewater then disappeared into a blinding light of the explosion. "NO!" she screamed, running towards the sight of the massacre, but she was quickly caught up by the Leomon.
"AJ, you have to let me take care of this. I-I think I'm ready to go the next level."
The ebony-haired teen's eyes widened, but she nodded and grasped her Digivice. "Ready?" she asked. The grey and white device buzzed fiercely in her hand before bursting into a blaze of purple and orange.
"Leomon chou shinka!" Patch's fur and skin shattered apart in a burst of data. A net-like structure in the shape of the Leomon began to shimmer and contort. His body bent into a four-footed structure, before another burst of light exposed a massive Sabertooth like animal. "Saberleomon!" he cried.
AJ smiled and ran over to rub the side of his head. "You're amazing. You just get cooler every time!"
The Ultimate-level grinned, bearing his two massive front fangs, but AJ was not afraid. "Hop on!" AJ moved around to Patch's side and scrambled up. When she was perched on his back, she took two long strands of his mane into her hands and gripped tightly. She felt him lurch underneath her, sand kicking up behind them as they wheeled away from the beach and towards the city. When they arrived their shortly, AJ's eyes pricked with hot tears at the sight of the destruction "We have to defeat him!" she said, her voice graveley as she tried to choke back the bile that threatened to rise.
Her eyes scanned through the wreckage before she caught site of the pearly white sheen of the snake's skin. "There Patch!" The Ultimate-level Digimon took off. The building beside them crumbled as explosions erupted. AJ's gaze flickered to the BlackWarGreymon throwing an attack of massive energy. Maybe if they timed their attacks against the Sandrimon it might do some damage. She expressed her plan to Patch and he nodded. Just then, a sheen of light flashed across his fur. Rearing back, his fur seemed to shoot out of his body, deadly spikes speeding towards the Sandrimon. "Infinity Arrow!"
