Darn! That snake was fast indeed, in fact, it evaded both of UFADO's attacks...and worse it had a plan for them ready, almost as if it could read his mind and predict his actions before they even happened.
The building began to collapse, with UFADO still inside. He needed an escape route. Fortunatly he had a simple one prepared for the eventuallity, as he had attempted to make the building upon the now escaped Sandiramon. "Paradise Lost Punch!" He yelled, increasing his speed tremendously and packing a punch into the buidling. The speed caused the impact to have an extreme force exercised onto the building, exploding enough of the wall for UFADO to fly through it. He was safe now, but the building was still falling and fell to the ground, releasing large snouts of dust and data (hopefully from inanimate structures and debris), as it cracked into a bunch loose rocks. UFADO flied down to ruins seeing the destruction around him. Whitewater city was now a ghost. A memory.
UFADO punched the rocks, angry. It would be impossible to find that bank now, his body might be lost forever. He got up again and once more looked around, looking for any signs of life, as hr thought he saw something.
"Hey! Anyone alive?" He shouted

When I wiped the tears from my eyes The warm water took me by surprise And I woke up beside the ocean
When Ramon responded in English, she let out a sigh of relief. "Sorry, I know you were speaking Spanish, but I don't speak any of that. I speak Italian, but it's great you can speak English and as far as..." "and as far as what's going on," was what she was about to finish saying before her gray-blue orbs widened considerably as the creaking and groaning of metal bending caught her attention.
She turned to her group and cupped her hands around her mouth. "We've gotta go! The building is gonna collaspe!" she yelled, but she was quickly caught up by Patch. She blinked and looked up. She was now being held bridal style while the lion-man dashed away from the scene. It seemed he had de-digivolved.
They collasped several feet away. Patch rolled off her and she sat up coughing as dust settled around them. She blinked, trying to get the debree out of her vision. Glancing over at her champion-level partner, her eyes danced with worry, but he nodded, signalling he was just fine. "Hey! Is everyone okay?!" she yelled. She could hear a few shouts farther away, one that sounded distinctly like UFADO. So he had survived. This kind of worried her. Would they be left to face him?

Post by Duffer & Kotemon on Nov 3, 2014 3:54:49 GMT
A collapsing building and a panic-struck Duffer were two things nobody wanted to mix. Knightmon sure didn't, gasping and grabbing Duffer, the Digimon had a gut feeling it had no way to get out of the way in time. doing some quick thinking, the digimon did what it could, moved a few steps to the right, held its shield up, and prayed that some heavenly being was looking down on him and Duffer. With the sounds of broken glass and collapsing concrete, the two vanished from sight underneath the heavy building, their fates uncertain, they could only wait to see what had happened.
It was cold. Duffer knew what it was like to be cold. He'd grown up in Minnesota. Cold was an inevitability. Cold surrounded him every year. But now he was in summer gear, and not ready for the cold. The cold had come for him and left him a deathly pallor. Was he dead? Was he alive? Where was Kotemon? As he thought these things, the words began to descend from the sky behind him. Staring at them, he carefully approached. Reaching out his hand and touching Kotemon (the word, not the digimon), Kotemon (the digimon, not the word) replaced it in an instant. Backing away, the items that sat before him were not Kotemon, they just resembled it. It sat there and didn't move, even when Duffer carefully approached and said its name.
Looking around, Duffer made sure to check on Kotemon on occasion, to make sure nothing creepy had happened with it. The fact it hadn't moved only made it more unsettling, as Duffer was unsure if it had or hadn't. Making sure he, himself was fine, and pinching himself, Duffer affirmed he wasn't dreaming. He was alone again... but he wasn't crying. The thoughts of what would happen here and why he was didn't help, yet he found himself too confused to think rationally. This brought him to the words. He opened his mouth to speak but as he felt himself form and say the words he couldn't hear it. For the time being he was stuck. Thinking some more, this time about a coat, Duffer began realizing his power here and his potential... but as he grabbed the coat he noticed the other two thoughts of life and death fading away.
As Duffer approached Kotemon and hugged it, he sighed. A basic grasp of what was happening was in his mind, and he tried to summon several things, but some of the things he couldn't bring back was his sanity, his friends, his courage, and his home. Amazing replicas and facsimiles, yes but none of them would move or interact or even feel like the real ones.

As Peacockmon made his way to the entrance of the building, following the noise of Lucemon's attacks, the ground all around them gave a fearful shudder. What was once eerie silence quickly became obnoxiously loud discord as the supports of the structure in front of them gave way to Sandiramon's acidic attack. The ground floor of the massive building began to quickly fill with dust and dirt clouds as the structure began collapsing in on itself before leaning heavily over toward the same direction Ramon happened to be running. Peacockmon's eyes widened as he realized the amount of damage that was going to be done to the city, and his inability to stop what was coming.
The cybernetic Digimon cursed to himself as he prepared to quickly move out of the way; however, that's when things became a bit more complicated than he would've liked. Behind him, a human had been running in the same direction, possibly to go inside that building Sandiramon had holed himself up in earlier. Either this human was incredibly foolish, or very brave to want to follow that monster. It was only when Ramon's eyes landed on the collapsing structure that he gasped and walked backwards, either in fear or awe at the sight in front of him. Unfortunately Ramon didn't have time to marvel at the sight, as debris and the structure's various pieces began to fall all around them, with increasing rapidity. Ramon turned and began to run the opposite direction.
What had been excitement one moment had turned quickly into fear for his life. Ramon knew there wasn't any way for him to escape, not when the building was so large and towering. His survival instincts refused to accept that, however, and he began sprinting briskly in a diagonal line as fast as possible. His legs, which he'd prided on giving him an edge in speed on his opponents, wouldn't do their job today. As Ramon neared a street to turn out of the path of soon to be destruction, a large chunk of the structure fell, crashing into the space in front of Ramon. What had once been a wide two lane road was now a wall, trapping the would be Digimon tamer.
"SHIT!" he shouted, realizing that his situation was essentially bordering on inescapable death.
Ramon swallowed, his eyes widened and with fear. He turned around, seeing the structure teeter ever closer toward him, the distance between the two of them closing faster with every millisecond. Ramon hung his head, hope of getting out being nowhere in sight.
Peacockmon's eyes stayed fixed on the human; what should he do?! He'd sworn to protect the city and it's denizens with his life, but was this human worth saving? He'd endangered his own life this time around, and the citizens would have great need of him soon enough. However, a thought wormed it's way into the avian Digimon's conscience, a solution to the dilemma. This human was still, even if only temporary, a citizen of White Water. His duty demanded it, and this Digimon wouldn't back down from it.
Peacockmon sped off as quickly as possible, making a straight bee line for the trapped individual. Within a few seconds, the building now only a few seconds away from collapsing onto the two of them, Peacockmon barked an order to Ramon as he brushed him down with his left wing.
"STAY DOWN, DON'T GET UP HUMAN!"
Peacockmon then turned and faced the ensuing pillar of death now coming down on them.
VIOLET BURST!" he shouted, a violet barrier forming around his body as he kept himself planted in front of Ramon, his wings crossed defensively.
"ARE 'CHU CRAZY?! YOU'LL DIE TOO!"
"NO, YOU WON'T."
After their brief exchange, the rest of the structure collapsed onto the streets and smaller buildings of White Water, engulfing much of the city. Somewhere not far off from where they'd been trapped moments ago, Ramon uncomfortably shifted in a pile of rubble and dust, his body caked with pieces of debris and dirt. In front of him, kneeling, and with pieces of data streaming off of his body, Peacockmon's body fell to the side, all of his energy and life force being spent to keep the human alive.
Hearing the sound of Peacockmon's body crashing into the ground, Ramon's eyes opened, his body weak and injured from what had just happened. While he didn't think any of his bones were broken, multiple dark spots covered his body, as well as quite a few bad cuts and gashes. Still lying on the ruined ground, Ramon called out, wondering if anyone else was alive.
"H.... help..... help me!"

Right before Ryouta could send the dragon in, or even able to climb down from his partner, the building collapsed. Not good... really not good at all. The dragon, noticing that the boy has frozen in fear quickly ascended, creating strong sonic boom that would definitely pushes the building back slightly. He's not up to die anytime soon!! Wingdramon blasts countless condensed air at the building, shooting it. However, it proved to be too late despite good parts of the building has blown away from the air blasts. Muttering apology, Wingdramon descended up.
"HEY, WINGDRAMON, WH--WHAT ARE YOU D--"
"YOUR SAFETY BEFORE ANOTHER!!" the dragon roared at his partner. "Call me merciless, call me cold, but this is the very fact! As much as I wanted to save everyone, death of another person would means nothing if you doesn't stay alive! If you can't save anyone, then save yourself! That's the rule!"
"...W-wha..."
"It's the truth, Aniki. I'm sorry. But that's just how it is. I only can hope that everyone survived..."
"...I shouldn't have brought him there..." Ryouta muttered.
"...You can't help it... Now..."
Wingdramon roared, signalling to the other that he's still alive, with Ryouta.

And so, one by one, the various fighters announced their survival of the falling building. UFADO smirked, as loosing lifes was uncessary in this ituation, and therefore should be avoided. There was still something he had to do, however.
"Revelations." UFADO whispered to himself, an aura of dark energy surrounding him. He needed the additional speed to search, now that the city was ruined. He knew his body would not mix with the rumble, but it could still be lost in it, and UFADO need to find it.
The ChaosLucemon took flight and began to scount the city for some clue on the location of what he was searching for. Not rarely, signs were buried in piles of rumble which UFADO had to destroy to see if the sign indicated the bank he was looking fir was nearby. Yet it seemed that nomatter how much he looked, he wasn't being able to find...
UFADO heard a voice calling out out for help. Standing up from the dusty ground, with the fragmented data of destroyed debris entering his body, UFADO took flight again, towards the human calling out for help. UFADO knew that voice. He approached Ramon, his sistems switching the language.
"Que Precisas?" UFADO asked Ramon in Spanish.

AJ ran over to Ryouta and Wingdramon as the dust was finally clearing. "Are you guys okay?" she asked. She was breathing heavily and turned away to cough. The SaberLeomon approached her curling his body around her's protectively. AJ patted the prehistoric lion's back and gave him a weary smile. "I'm okay. All the dust is just getting to me."
"H.... help..... help me!"
AJ's eyes widened as she heard the call as did Patch's ears pricking up. "We've gotta find out where that's coming from!" Hopping onto Patch's back, she sped off. "Please! Call out again so I can find you!"
Hopefully they would hear her voice and call out again. Finally, she came across Ramon and hopped down to help him. She moved to cradle his head and shot a dark look at UFADO, who had also appeared, but she said nothing and turned to the boy. "Are you okay? Do you think you can walk?" she whispered, her grey-blue orbs briefly flickering to the bits of data streaming off of Peacockmon. It was obvious the Digimon had used it's energy to save the young boy. She bit back tears and turned to the darker-skinned boy in her arms.

With each word Duffer spoke it became harder and harder to find the words "Dead" and "Alive" And saying them again did nothing, just like how attempting to summon another Kotemon yielded nothing. He had no clue how long he was in this place, the thought of attempting to summon a clock was quickly dismissed, as he didn't want to risk losing those two most important words. But he didn't forget what else was important. He had begun carrying Kotemon, er... the objects RESEMBLING Kotemon that flopped around like a ragdoll and wasn't warm or alive like the real one. But it was all he had.
Wandering the vast, cold landscape, Duffer found himself going nowhere, fast. It was silent, the only sounds being from Duffer's feet hitting the ground repeatedly. "This... this sure is weird, huh?" Duffer asked the Kotemon-like, part of him wishing for a response and part of him terrified of what it would mean if it did. Much to a rather bittersweet feeling, no responses besides his own echo followed. The vast mindscape stretched ever onward for as long as Duffer could imagine.
Knightmon looked around, worried and confused. The dust was settling and everything was getting... heavy. taking a deep breath and trying to move, the digimon found itself falling to its knees and slowly dedigivolving. Setting down the partner and returning to Kapurimon, the tiny, fluffy, helmeted digimon tried to look through all the dust and debris. "HELLO?!" It shouted, hard as it could. "Hello! Anyone alive? We need help!"

OOC: AND WITH MY FIRST EXAM OUT OF THE WAY, TO POST I GO. ------------------
Ramon coughed as he laid in the broken city, himself being nothing more than part of the scenery. In front of him, Peacockmon's once bright cobalt body was now gray and ruined, a mess of data and parts which seemed to be seeping into nothingness. Ramon struggled to lift his head to see the Digimon who had protected him; he felt so weakened. He couldn't understand the Digimon's reasoning, why had it risked it's life to save him, a complete stranger who he'd never met? It was during this time of thought that Ramon's Digivice went off in his pocket once again. Unsure if it was cruel fate or some twisted game, Ramon bit back some of his emotions. While this wasn't something he was able to confirm, he was getting a feeling the Digivice had led him toward this Digimon on purpose.
"Why..... did.....you save me?" Ramon asked, his head falling as softly as he could allow back onto the cold hard surface beneath him.
Peacockmon's head was nestled deep against the dusty ground, one crippled and solitary eye keeping it's gaze on Ramon. From what Ramon could hear, he thought he heard what sounded like a strained laugh. It was then that he watched Peacockmon's wrecked frame attempt some form of movement, the legs not functioning at all, but one of his right wing's extended slightly toward Ramon.
"You.... for however short a time......were part of.... White Water.........and yet......there was something....else........a strange......feeling I had." the near death Digimon spoke
It was around this time that Ramon heard a voice which sounded completely different, but reeked of a character he had previously met. His eyes widened at hearing the nearby voice, and he strained to look around. Eventually, out of the corner of his eye, he laid gaze on some strange, disturbing figure; what looked like some amalgamation of an angel and a devil. It wasn't the same thing he'd met in the park, to be sure, but it had that same kind of emotion within it's voice, and it's Spanish. UFADO.
Ramon couldn't believe his luck, first a building got dropped on him, and now this weird alien eyed thing (well, at least it WAS before), showed up too?! Ramon would've slammed his fist onto the ground if he felt like he could've moved it much at all. Unfortunately, shock and the recent traumatizing event kept Ramon held in place; whatever happened from this point, he wouldn't be in much of a spot to protect himself. Much to Ramon's joy, he'd find the earlier individuals joining him soon enough. After hearing the girl's voice amidst the barely visible area, Ramon tried to call out in response.
"I'm.... I'm around here!" Ramon shouted, weakly. He realized he wasn't helping much, but there was nothing else he could do.
Shortly, the girl from before arrived, though she seemed to be in much better condition than himself. As AJ helped assuage Ramon's current state, he felt an emotion rising from inside of him. Being in the stressed situation as long as he had been with someone whom he'd seen only as a threat thus far hadn't done much to help him calm down or get an assessment as to how he was doing. However, AJ's voice; to him, was a godsend. Being able to hear anything that sounded nice in this desolation made his eyes water somewhat as the stress of the situation finally reached a breaking point. Ramon did his best to choke down some of the tears that would be running down his face during the next moment, but he found himself in a poor position to do so.
"I.... I feel like I can barely move at all, senora..." he said, trying to keep himself feel calm. Though he was glad he wasn't alone with UFADO anymore.

"I'm fine... but... does the other...?" Ryouta asked to the foreigner girl. That question does not need to be answered, though. Quickly, there comes two yells for help. Ryouta decided that it's not time to stays idle. The first come from an unknown guy that before is with them on the battlefield... the other two has sort of approached him, so what he can do now is to go to the other one.
"Hey!" Ryouta called out the the small Kapurimon. "Were you the one that called out for help?" he asked again. As he's unsure what was Kotemon's in-training form was, he just assumed that this is... it. Kotemon doesn't have a gender, does it? He himself is unsure, but at least he need to help most before something else happened. He don't know wheter Sandiramon would appear or not later anyway.
For all that is holy, he hoped that the foreigner boy is alright.

UFADO lifted his shoulders at Ramon's reaction to him. Honestly, he had to wonder if humans were that stupid, if they would really expect him to attack surrounded by digimon that not only outnumbered, but also outpowered him. Besides, he had been their ally in fighting the Sandiramon, even if it wasn't very successful. But if they didn't want his help because they were suspicious of him, then he wouldn't care. He had more important things to deal with than a potential crippled human. He had to find his body. His body switched back to the standart language.
"Very well then, if you don't want help from me, as you seem to, I won't give it. I something to find, and that worthless snake managed to get this city even more confusing than before." UFADO stated, taking flight. He had to consider now. He had tried randomly searching but that would be no good, especially if this people didn't like him that much. So, if he were the ones hiding his body, where would he have hidden it? It had to be in a remote place, somewhere hard to get to. It also had to be somehwere most people wouldn't notice it, were it could easily pass as something else. But what could a dark pack of data be consealed as?
UFADO looked at the horizon again, taking a deep gaze into the ocean. He smirked. It was so obvious now that he thought about it. Made far too much sense. He had a hard time deciding if the bank had too much imagination or not enough. But certainly, his conclusion couldn't be that wrong, even if he missed for a little. But surely, he wouldn't. Lazyness is stupid, it's inevitable. When you try to have someone do your work for you, it usually goes wrong. And UFADO was sure this time it did. He figured it out.
Treasures are hidden in the sea.
He dived into the ocean.
