Despite his amazing land running speed, sometimes Garm just wanted to stop and walk a bit. He had went over to Rustport earlier just to personally check up on things, and to simply get out for a while. As he walked, he took in the sun and the heat. He felt relaxed, but a tad anxious. The last few years of his life he was with Beverly. The only time he wasn't for a length of time was when Beverly "died". He was quite angry at himself, thinking he was the cause of it. But she was back, and he figured that he would just let go of his angst.
She might be back, but she was... kind of different now. Her villainous asparations gone, she just concentrated on maintaining her club, or the occasional outing.
But he still felt drawn to her. He still loved her. Even with his appearance she still cared for him.
He reflected on these thoughts, basking in the sun and solitude and remembering his days before he met Beverly, seemingly a distant memory. All he had was a desire to fight, and nothing else.
His train of thought was broken, however, with a strange feeling washing over him. It was faint, but it felt like something was nearby. Perhaps it was his imagination, though. He doubted there was anything here...
