Normal days... Do these even exist for me anymore?
Red eyes ran across his countertop, not many sales had seen it today. In fact for the last few weeks things had really been slow; the few people that had stuck with him during the move didn't come as often anymore. How could he blame them though? He wasn't on the "main" street anymore, he was more located on one of the side streets. A offshoot of where traffic was the most intsense; the shop didn't see headlights as often as it should of either which rather bothered him. A rustling sound caused the human to rotate in the swivel chair he was sitting upon. The faint wind generated by a fan had knocked some of the papers he used to keep track of sales for this week off and onto the floor. He brushed some of his hair out of his face before going over to pick up the papers his voice cracking the less than favorable silence.
Probrably should get a book instead of loose papers...
The sheets were back in place, this time with a stapler upon them to keep the fan's gently breeze from knocking them off. The human stooped to check some of his display cases; in case of someone trying to steal from here nothing that wsa loose was in the front. There were computer's lining the cases on one side and on the other there were some smaller car parts. The center "customer" fan wasn't as fast spinning as the one in back sadly. He could blame that to faulty wiring. He placed his hands on the case that acted as his checkout; he couldn't exactly be thrilled with the fact he couldn't display everything anymore. He didn't have enough cases left over from the move and the store front was smaller than the garage area. He glanced through the door that led to the "double" garage. In benifit of not having a car himsef he was able to work on two vehicles at once instead of just the one his last shop had. The human felt a wry grin roll onto his face.
If anyone would drop off something like that..
He hadn't had someone bring in a vehicle in ages either, he started to wonder if he should even bother with the damn things sometimes. Most times that people brought in the cars they wanted to be worked on it was just an oil change. A long sigh brought end to his musing and let the human finnally sit in his chair once more. Just about six or so more hours before he could flip the sign to closed and get upstairs for some food...
