Monou was sitting in a small little cafe looking over the ever busy Scramble Crossing. She was on the fifth floor of one of the many buildings that lined the main area of the crossing in a quaint little Costa cafe. Monou never liked coffee, it was far too bitter for her but Costa did some nice hot chocolate. She was currently sitting at a little two-seater table next to the large panel window with a large cup of steaming hot chocolate. She had all the works, lots of whipped cream and marshmallows, chocolate shavings and a large red and white striped straw. It reminded Monou of the winter months when she sat by the heater in her home and drank the hot chocolate her mother made.
It was currently a weekend, Saturday to be exact and Monou didn't have anything better to do. While Scramble Crossing was far too suffocating for her liking, she did find it rather enjoyable to just sit and watch, plus this was the closest Costa to where she lived. Monou sipped at her drink while she watched the people below. It didn't take her long to finish it all off, only around 15 minutes in total.
Once she was done Monou got out her camera and flicked through the current pictures on it, she had various animals and people, many were tourists and a few were of her friends. She had a few scenic pictures and Monou had the sudden urge to take a picture of Scramble Crossing. She stood up from her seat and took a picture of the bustling people and the large electronic board opposite the cafe. Monou was happy with her picture and went to take another, but the electronic board caught her attention. It was currently showing an advert for a new clothing brand, but the image was glitching. Monou heard some mutters and mumbling behind her and raised her camera to take a quick picture, but something was odd with her camera, the picture wasn't showing up the right way.
Monou remembered something her mother had told her once, something about TV screen and how they worked, something about it stopped her camera from getting a proper picture, it looked all fuzzy and had strange lines running through it. This was somewhat the same, except the image looked clearer through her camera. Some of the other people in the cafe had noticed this too, as they had taken out their phones to film the strange phenomenon. You never know what's going to happen so it's always best to just film everything.
Monou looked through her camera, and took pictures every now and then when the image changed. The large electronic board was currently flicking through the same several images. The first was of a light blue egg, much like an ordinary chicken egg, but blue. The rest were just text. The first said. 'Hello!' then it cycled through 'We're ready to meet you!', 'Come and find us!', "We belong to you!', "You are our Tamer!', 'This is your Digitama!' and then it went to the image of the blue egg and the cycle continued.
Monou watched this a few times before frowning. "It says to find it, but how is anyone supposed to know where to look?" The electronic board suddenly glowed a wonderful pale blue, this attracted many more people to the strange goings on. The electronic board was situated on top of a building a few floors smaller than the one Monou was currently in, and the light from the electronic board shone and radiated backwards, through the board itself and onto the roof of the building.
Monou was sure that the light had formed something, what she couldn't be sure but she had a feeling it was a light blue egg. She was far too curious a girl and immediately left the cafe to go and find the mysterious object. She made sure to pick up her backpack and placed her camera inside, walking quickly towards the elevator to get outside. She knew this was going to be fun, she didn't know if it was dangerous or not and quite frankly she didn't care, she just wanted to know what the hell a Digitama was.
