(Heyo. While I'm no stranger to RP both tabletop and online, I'll admit to being a touch nervous. I was a huge fan of Digimon up until the end of Tamers, and I figured this might be interesting. Here's to hoping everything is as it should be!
Name:Adeline Turunen
Alias:
Age: Twenty.
Gender: Female
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 130 lbs.
Alignment: Neutral-Good.
Birth Date: January 23rd.
Birth Place: Turku, Finland.
Western Horoscope: Aquarius
Eastern Zodiac: Horse.
Skills/Talents: Recreational artist, avid climber, resourceful.
Personality: Adeline is an outward, passionate spirit tempered by a mounting veil of uncertainty. Her outlook on the world is thoughtful, and perceptive; that her eye is keen for even the simplest beauty in the world has fostered a love for freedom, and for equally romantic mediums of art and literature – yet rarely does it show. The manner of her upbringing fostered modesty, cultivating the belief that any form of personal intrigue is something best kept to herself; and it is with this method of reservation that she regards the more social aspects of her life, and which often prevents her from finding mutual grounds with those she meets along the way. In spite of this, she possesses profound inner strength and undying loyalty to those she values closely – capable of standing before any challenge, should her heart be in it.
Appearance: Adeline’s sapphire gaze carries motes of intellect and affability, whilst the quaint shape of her body and the strong-willed air about her features make few secrets of her foreign lineage. Few scars err her skin, otherwise shaded by a modest tan that marks her a regular outdoorswoman; built upon an athletic frame that affords her a capable appearance in spite of her relatively average height. Her hair, a cascade of dusky brown, traipses past her shoulders and a small ways down to an even end cresting her back.
She often dresses with simplicity in mind, possessing only what is necessary to appear acceptable in the eyes of her peerage. This comparatively unimpressive variety of wardrobe is further accented by a distinctive lack of cosmetics, though her appearance is not uncouth; merely void of what she views as excess, though perhaps to a degree of irony. ‘Round her neck rests a locket, well-maintained in what seemed extreme age.
Personal History: Adeline Turunen was unceremoniously born to a middling family in Turku, Finland, during a crisis between both of her parents.
As a child, her family underwent critical division that firmly cleft her from the lives of her father and her brother, whom stole away during her infancy. It tempered a bitter sense of reality into her upbringing, which further succumbed to the whims of fate; early in the onset of her twelfth birthday, her mother, Eiren, fell ill with a sickness of unknown nature. The mantle of her own way in life soon fell upon her shoulders, as did the weight of caring for her mother – albeit not without help.
This turn of events began leeching at her schooling, wherein she became distant; determined to follow the calling of her heart, and to explore her own interests with a vitality redoubled. This, among other things, was the very foundation for her fondness of literature and mythos – whilst also spurring the first of many steps down the path of an engineer. Day by day, she would share her findings with her mother in story and in display, cultivating depth to their bond; circumstances continued to decay, and so Adeline cherished it with every fiber of her being. So went the way of the world, until the apex of her teenage years betrayed a different machination of destiny.
Her mother’s condition began to improve, if slowly. Realizing this, Adeline began rejoicing, though she adamantly refused to take her schooling any further until she could leave with some measure of certainty – that is, until Eiren intervened.
Her father made contact, upon receiving news of his daughter’s coming of age, and extended her an opportunity to join him in his own endeavours should she make the venture to Japan – and without time to protest, she was given all the money her mother could muster and a wish, spoken in two words that haunt her to the present.
Begrudgingly, she made ready and took flight out of the country and off to whatever lay ahead. Over time, she came to terms with what had happened, but the uncertainty of the future still loomed over her head. Yet… she would not back down, not only for her mother… but for herself, as well.

Digivice:
D-3, shaded pearl-grey with grips accented silvery-white.
Partner’s Name: None.
Default Form: Rookie.[champion or lower]
Gender: Female.
Alignment: Chaotic-Neutral.
Skills/Talents: Keen-senses; natural agility.
Personality: This Renamon is a fighter of principle, that true loyalty to virtues of honour is the very foundation of respect; where skill and cunning matter most, though there is more to strength than prowess. Discipline rules her actions, and rarely will she move without forethought, such as to embody her pinnacle virtues where best she is able.
When away from conflict, there is an element of intrigue intrinsically rooted in her thoughts. Focus and time devoted to understanding the way of the world, perhaps the making of a propensity for philosophical thinking and literature, if given the chance to explore them. This has ways of, in turn, both limiting and expanding her way of mind; adversity towards congregations of peers provides little by manner of sociability, while also affording her a sharpness that drives any point quickly, and without dithering.
Likewise has it cultivated a reclusive pattern of behaviour, and thus her perception of companions and their use is dampened greatly. Trust is earned, rather than given; bonds forged with those who matter are important beyond measure, but easily burned are the bridges between friends – and so one must be careful, for the only way to abstain from harm is to refrain from touching the flames.DIGIMON'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
