Scout's D-Scanner emits a screeching sound, as the screen crackles with static. He lifts it out of his pocket briefly, just as it finishes, and shakes his head, "Crazy thing. Well, um. If you're sure we wouldn't be getting in your way, I'd love to come with you!" He still seems a little more restrained. Clearly an effort on his part, but there we are.
He scoops up BlackKoromon and puts him back in the satchel, "So, um. What exactly do you two do together? Are you just friends? I know some people have goals of some kind with Digimon like, um. Having the strongest, or something. Or learning about all the different kinds,"
Scout had thought about asking for Kirito's number too! But he's not that forward. And not that type of boy. Heh. Yeah. He stands ready to follow Kirito, since he can't even remember why he came here anymore. Downside of being eternally hyped. You tend to forget the little things. Like breathing, sometimes.

Kirito couldn't help but arch an eyebrow when Scout's device started crackling with static, only to watch him take it out of his pocket and place it back in with a shake of his head. He assumed that it wasn't very important so he chose not to comment on it. He was glad to hear that Scout and BlackKoromon were going to join them and with this, Terriermon turned stiff and fell forward into his Tamer's arms so that he would be seen as a stuffed animal, though it was still a little odd to see a teenage boy carrying around a stuffed animal.
While waiting for Scout to place BlackKoromon into his satchel, Kirito answered his question as best he could. "Well, we are good friends, but I still wish to learn as much as I can about Digimon. The different type, levels, attributes... All of it." Kirito reached down at tapped on his bag that was hanging over one shoulder, the bag itself sitting by his waist. "I am working on a database on my computer where information I gather on Digimon is immediately uploaded for further studies." He was proud of his work as a hacker but it was the smaller things that reminded him of where he started off.
Kirito reached into one of his pockets and pulled out his D-Terminal, flipping the screen open to refer back to the list of things they needed to get. "I think we are going to need a trolley." He stated before moving back around the building to the front doors and stepping inside once he knew Scout was following. Once inside, Kirito looked around for a moment before spotting the grocery store and started to make his way there, only to be stopped by a tug on the pants by Terriermon. "Not again..." Kirito whispered down, the crowds of people dimmed other noises so this scene went a little unnoticed... at least his pants didn't fall down this time. "This place is amazing." Terriermon exclaimed with a stiff face, indicating the huge food court.

"Learning. Well, that's one of my goals too. I, uh," He blinks, "I'm impressed though. I'm not really...computer-literate enough to make a big database out of it. Is there anything I can do to help you with your database? Maybe there's a way to get information off my D-Scanner, on the Digimon I encounter," He shrugs, a little clueless about what exactly he can do, but dammit he wants to help!
Scout can't help but smile at Terriermon's enthusiasm over the food court. BlackKoromon had a similar reaction, the first time they'd just grabbed some takeout. He was delightfully easy to please, sometimes. A little too...ravenous, though. Fortunately he'd told his family about the whole 'Digimon' thing right after he first Spirit Evolved, and so he didn't have to try and sneak BlackAgumon a dozen hamburgers a day or anything silly.
"What about when you're not being a Digital Researcher? What do you do, if you don't mind my asking," He eyes the boy. Can't be much older than him. A year or two. "I mean, beyond school, I'd guess," Hey, maybe Kirito's secretly the school's greatest ballet dancer. Or a pro martial artist. It never hurts to ask these things!

"To be honest, I am only skilled with a computer because when I moved here from the States, I wasn't exactly good at making friends, so when everyone else was playing kick ball or hanging out during breaks at school, I was inside on a computer." Kirito stated. "Yeah and now he is probably one of the best Hack-brf" Kirito's hand had gone up to his Digimon's mouth, cupping it so that his words were hard to understand... What Terriermon didn't know was that telling people that Kirito was a hacker, wasn't exactly safe. "You know what?" Kirito said, looking to Scout. "Any information you have on Digimon would be useful, I will get it off you when we are finished shopping." He said.
Kirito walked over to the nearest trolley bay and pulled out a trolley, placing Terriermon in the child seat and turning to Scout. "You can put your bag and BlackKoromon in here if you like?" He said, giving the boy the option of not having to carry the Digimon around, they did tend to get a little heavy after a while. Whether Scout put BlackKoromon in the trolley or not, Kirito made his way into the grocery store and started in the fruit and vegetable lane. "Well, mostly Terriermon and I just hang, we don't exactly do much else. Oh, we sometimes watch television, it is a great way to teach Terriermon things about our world. The last thing we watched was..." He paused for a second, taking a few green apples and wrapping them in a plastic bag before placing them into the trolley. "A documentary on Orca." Terriermon, although remaining stiff, smiled at the though of the show they watched, he was quite interested in understanding other creatures in the human world.
Kirito came to another stop and grabbed a handful of bananas before placing them in the trolley. "Before Terriermon came along I mostly just worked on my computer or was out in the city doing parkour, though I haven't done parkour since meeting him." He said, looking down at his Digimon partner, not actually sure whether he even told his Digimon partner what it was or even showed him. "I will have to show you sometime, okay?" Kirito said, poking his Digimon in the cheek you lightly nodded so that it was visible by the two Tamers but no one else. "How about you?" He asked, turning back over his shoulder to Scout.

Scout stares at Terriermon for a moment, but doesn't comment on it. "Well, okay. If it'd be helpful, I could send you new information I get on a regular basis. I spend a lot of time in the Digital World, so my D-Scanner must gather a lot of data," He places his bag in the trolley, rubbing his shoulder. They do get heavy after a while.
"Oh, documentaries, huh? B just watches tokusatsu shows. Like, uh, Super Sentai, and Kamen Rider. I think he just likes the loud noises," He snorts, "We mostly hang too, although we try to help people and Digimon out, when we can. If someone's attacking them, or even if they've just lost something. I like helping,"
Such a simple boy.
"Mm. I'm learning how to parkour. Bit-by-bit. Other than that, I'm a gymnast. That's about it. I don't have the attention span for much," Scout admits, "but, I'm flexible enough to be able to perform a decent routine. Beyond that, most of my time is taken up helping people, or learning about Digimon,"
"So, um. You're American, huh? Must be weird to move all the way across the world. Is it very different?"

Kirito nodded. "Well if you connect your Digivice to my computer later, the information you gather will automatically be uploaded to my database, you wont be required to send it." He said with a smile, pushing the trolley to the next isle. He listened as he pushed the trolley but he wasn't sure what Super Sentai or Kamen Rider were, he honestly didn't watch a lot of television. "So in a way, you are like a good samaritan? You help others in need?" He asked, reaching over an placing a few cans of coconut milk into the trolley.
"Well I will give you my number later, if you feel like doing some parkour sometime, I can show you a thing or two." His parkour came in handy whenever he signalled the authorities to his location, he had only been caught once when he first started hacking, but since then he created a codename and took up parkour, running from the police seemed to simple these days.
"In all honesty, I don't really remember much of America, I moved here when I was young, though I do remember that learning Japanese was incredibly difficult to begin with. But yeah, I guess you could say I am American. My mother is American and my father is Japanese." Kirito reached over and grabbed a few packets of dried mushrooms before placing them into the trolley. "I take it you have grown up here pretty much all your life?"

"Mm. A good Samaritan? I guess that's a way of looking at it. I like to think we're just providing a public service. I've been given extraordinary power, and it's my responsibility to use it wisely. And, um. Well. Frankly, not all Digimon who make it here have peaceful intentions,"
"Your number? Oh, well, I'd like that," Scout gives yet another warm smile, "it'd be nice to learn a few things, then maybe I'd stop scraping my knees raw," He hasn't picked up any food yet, deciding to save his money for the aisles with candy. He needs the sugar today. And every day. Forever. All the sugar, always, forever.
"Ohhh. Okay. So, you can speak English too?" He tilts his head, "That's so cool. I've always wanted to learn another language. I tried to learn English when I was younger, buuut. Uh. Well. I guess I didn't have the patience at the time. I know my dad speaks English. He's American, too!" Scout smiles. Yay, commonalities! He likes those. "I guess I got most of my looks from my mom though,"
Oh hey, vegetables! No, those are boring.
"Mhm! I was born in Shinjuku. Lived in Shibuya my whole life. Never been outside of Japan, though. Everyone I know is here,"

Kirito turned and began walking up the next isle, instantly reaching out and taking two or three packets of potato chips, the kind that Terriermon liked and placed it into the trolley. Terriermon, without realizing had began to lick his lips at the sight of these and in order to stop him, Kirito lightly bonked him on the head. "Yeah, I learned that the hard way." He said when Scout spoke of Digimon coming to their world who weren't exactly here with peaceful intentions, he was referring to the times Kirito and his Digimon partner were attacked by wild Digimon.
Kirito couldn't help but chuckle at Scout's comment about scraped knees. "Trust me when I say that I used to get those scraped knees too, I could have sworn that one time they were scraped down to the bone." That was an over exaggeration. "Though it is something that happens to all of us in the beginning. Word of advice though, don't go attempting to jump the gaps between buildings... Painful!" He stated, remember two or three years ago when he attempted this and scraped his entire back down the side of the opposite building... Luckily there was a large pile of trash at the bottom for him to land on, though his mother didn't particularly like the smell.
Kirito laughed again. "Yeah, I am adamant that I got my looks from my mum too. She is great too, we actually speak English at home and I am teaching Terriermon as well."
Walking up the vegetable isle, Kirito grabbed the necessities such as carrots, potatoes, pumpkin, peas and corn, placing them all in the trolley and hearing a slight 'urgh' sound come from his Digimon which resulted in Kirito rolling his eyes.
When Scout stated that most of his family were here, Kirito couldn't help but sigh. "My father doesn't actually have any family, his parents died when he was a teenager and he, or they didn't have any siblings. So the only other family I have are on my mother's side and they all live over in America, your lucky." He stated, seeming somewhat upset by this but he wasn't.

"Well, maybe I'll avoid some of those mistakes by hanging out with you, climbing across rooftops like the vagrants all youths apparently are," Scout snorts, "Nah. I only cross at rooftops if it's like...a small gap. I never mustered up enough courage to leap from rooftop-to-rooftop,"
Scout gathers a couple of bags of potato chips for himself. Despite his slender body, he eats twice as much as most people. Maybe all that energy is burned off through all that hyperactivity...
"Wow. You speak English at home? I know my dad still struggles with more than basic Japanese. It can be a pain sometimes. Hey, maybe I'll pick some up through osmosis. That's how that works, right?" He grins. It has advantages, though, from time to time. Although it'd made explaining BlackAgumon and the D-Scanner very...tricky. Hell, it'd been difficult enough with the rest of his family.
"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't have that many people though, just, uh. My mom and dad, my little brother, my aunt, my cousin, and my mom's parents. See! Not that many!" He offers a smile. Watching Terriermon through this shopping trip has made him glad that BlackAgumon isn't small enough to be able to carry around, and that he's relatively well behaved anyway. In his In-Training form, he's happy to just sit in Scout's bag until he's needed. What must it be like, to constantly have to worry about being spotted?

Kirito nodded. "You will be jumped buildings in no time." He stated with a smile as he turned down another isle, grabbing five or six packets of noodles and placing them into the trolley. Terriermon wasn't licking his lips again and he was beginning to become agitated, wiggling in the seat, fighting the urge to jump for the food. "Terriermon..." Kirito whispered, tapping his Digimon on the head with a soft fist. "I will buy you lunch once we have finished shopping. Just chill." He continued to whisper.
"Well yeah..." Kirito said as he turned back to Scout. "English is mine and my mother's native language. My father was born in Japan and lived here a majority of his life, but when he learned English when he went over to L.A where he met my mother. See, my mum is an interpreter, in fact she can speak four different languages." He raised a hand to count on his fingers, as if some kind of reflex. "English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. So large companies often hire her for translation" He stated with a smile, taking hold of the trolley again and started pushing further down the isle. One word that Scout had mentioned kind of drew his attention though. "Osmosis?" Kirito asked, picking up a bottle of soy sauce and placing it in the trolley.

"With your help, I'm sure I will, Sifu," Scout snorts, amused by his own comments. Oh dear. "Oh, nevermind about osmosis. Um. I must've mixed up my words. Sorry, happens sometimes. I know my brother's pretty fluent in English. He's pretty good with languages though. I think he's learning to speak German at the minute. You might get more stimulating conversation out of him," He jokes.
"Wow, a translator, that's pretty cool!" Scout, is there anything that you don't think is cool? "What is it that you're planning to do after school and stuff? Like, as a job," Weird question, "Unless 'Professional Digimon Snack Fetcher' is an actual job, in which case Terriermon'll probably hire you now. Assuming B doesn't get there first,"
