Located in the Binary Archipelago, The C0ve is a smallish 'zero' shaped island just over the horizon from the Southern Tropics. The outside edges of the island are mostly beach, with one side rising up to moderately-sized cliffs hiding a Monmon village suspended over a channel leading to the island's interior lagoon. The other sides of the island feature beaches giving away to a dense jungle, the land rising up towards the interior of the island until it terminates in the high cliff walls that shelter the lagoon. Meatfruit and the like are plentiful on the island, and the lagoon has enough land area on the edges and caves in the cliff faces to make a fairly comfortable hideaway. The Crew came into possession of the island somewhat by accident, as its former Chief (a Sepikmon) was holding one of Ren's Ocean Spirits. On defeating Sepikmon, the Monmon population of the island transferred their fealty to their new Chief: Lucemon.
Current Island Status: Peaceful, inhabited by Monmon and their Chief Lucemon, along with 'Captain' Ren Campbell.
So soon after their 'accidental' conquest of Monmon island, and things we beginning to take shape. It turned out the Monmon hadn't particularly liked Sepikmon; he was selfish and at times casually cruel, once forcing a Monmon to balance on his boomerang while he threw it. He had conquered their last Chief and acquired his data and their loyalty whether they liked it or not. Then he'd used them to waylay passing sailors, scrounging 'Spirits.' Most appeared to be junk. Some... well. With Sepikmon gone the Monmon no longer had to go out scrounging and thieving every day, so they looked to their new Chief for guidance. Lucemon and Ren were soon working together with the Monmon to build up their village into a stable, multi-platform town in the cliffs that led to the inner lagoon. Multiple strong rope bridges stretched high enough across the space to allow passage back and forth without interfering with a moderately-tall mast. They'd added wooden handrails on both sides of the path that led down the cliff from the beachfront path.
