[Devil's Tongue] He is a smooth talker. He can lie to almost anyone and convince them of almost anything. It is said he could talk IceDevimon into setting himself on fire and make him think it was a good idea. This might be a bit of a stretch, but how far remains to be seen.
[Illusion Affinity] He is naturally apt with the manipulation of ambient data to create realistic, tangible illusions.
[Rules Lawyer] His word is his bond; literally. As binding as his powers make it for those he deals with, it is just as binding on himself.

Personality:
Astamon is not exactly malicious. Not actively, anyway. He is however fairly self-serving, ever looking for an advantage. He's not above using a little kindness to grease the wheels, but just as likely to resort to bribery or violence. He's unsurprisingly a loudmouth and a wise-ass. He will honor any deal he makes to the absolute letter. For him it's a battle of wits to find someone breaking their contract (or tricking them into it). He laughs easily and often, at the world or at anything in it. It's all a joke. He'd rather run his mouth than fight, but when it comes down to it, he loves any fight he can fix. And he thinks he can fix any fight.
He makes promises lightly and honors them gravely. He lives to toe the line and tempt you to do whatever you're not supposed to.
Personal History:
Zurumon wasn't like most fresh digimon after they'd come out of their digieggs. Sure, he liked to play and seemed friendly enough. But unlike most, Zurumon was kind of... a troublemaker. He played pranks, maybe a little mean but harmless enough. This continued after he digivolved to Pagumon. The mischief got more creative, but he always seemed to talk his way out of any serious trouble. He didn't tend to win many friends that way, but this never seemed to manage much to Pagumon. Finding little to keep him in any community he left to make his own way. He found all sorts of ways to talk or swindle digimon he met out of little packets of data. Soon he had digivolved to Psychemon, and roamed farther afield. He often kept on the move, looking for ways to make some quick data.
Whispers have led him in search of patron who might grant him some of the power he seeks.

Entering a Pactbargain with him allows him to track the signer's exact direction, distance from them and physical state. Breaking a pact with him allows Barbamon to take whatever he provided back, and until such time as it is resolved he can effect a pactbreaker as if they were three stages lower than they were, and he had a type/attribute advantage.
