Name: Same as current form.
Default Form: Highest available.
Gender: Neutral, though primarily referred to as a male.
Alignment: Neutral-Evil
Skills/Talents:
Inventory:
Personality:
Ratatoskrmon is fully aware of his original nature as a messenger program, and hates that fact. As he grows, so does his resentment for Yggdrasil, which is first noticeable at his Ultimate stage, Fenrirmon. Becoming a Digimon gave him freedom, and he has no desire to return to the life of a non-sentient program. Ratatoskrmon will do anything to keep that freedom, no matter what. Especially if it means challenging Yggdrasil, who created him as what he considers a ‘lesser being,’ a non-sentient program.
Each of Ratatoskrmon’s forms has a defining personality trait. In his Fresh form Ouroboromon, that trait is naivety. Ouroboromon will believe anything he is told, no matter what. Vedrfolnirmon, his In-Training level form, has the trait of curiosity. Vedrfolnirmon has an insatiable desire to interact with any new people, places, or things, regardless of the outcome. The Rookie form of Ratatoskrmon has a mischievous nature, often causing trouble by using his messaging ability to take phrases out of context. He grows out of this by the Champion stage of Eikthyrnirmon, however, whose predominant trait of kindness. Eikthyrnirmon would happily offer a drink of water to someone who had just tried to kill him.
The personalities of Ratatoskrmon take a sharp downturn starting at the Ultimate stage. Fenrirmon is extremely bitter at not just Yggdrasil, but the whole Digital World. As such, he is quick to anger and will happily attack those who annoy him. His Mega, Nidhoggrmon, is spiteful and malicious. He blames Yggdrasil for everything that has befallen him, and for the first time actively seeks to fight against Yggdrasil. In his final form, Jormungandramon has obtained power, enough to actually challenge Yggdrasil and his knights, and does so with pleasure.
Personal History:
Ratatoskr was originally a messenger program created by Yggdrasil. It was used to bring messages between Yggdrasil, overseer of the Digital World, and his Royal Knights. As a simple messenger program, the Ratatoskr program was not granted sentience. This changed, however, when Ratatoskr was infected by the X-antibody. Suddenly, he obtained sentience… And transformed from a program into a Digimon.
Alone and confused, the new Digimon barely understood what was going on. He knew what he was- A messenger for Yggdrasil. What he didn’t know was how he had gained sentience… Or what to do with it. He knew that this was now how it was supposed to be- And that scared him. Scared and angered him. Why was it that he should have been created that way? Why was he not meant to be sentient? He was sure that if Yggdrasil caught him, he would be deleted and replaced. So he fled, away from Yggdrasil, while still not entirely sure what to do with his new form. Just that he was somehow, finally, free!
Appearance:
As the name suggests, Ouroboromon takes the form of the Ouroboros- A snake eating its own tail. Roughly 6 inches in diameter, and a greyish-green in diameter. Primarily moves around by rolling, and as such is prone to confusion.
Fresh: Ouroboromon
Attribute: Data
Families: Nature Spirits, Dragon’s Roar
Type: Baby Dragon
Attacks:
Digivolves To: Vedrfolnirmon
Appearance:
Vedrfolnir is the hawk which roosts between the eyes of the eagle which roosts atop Yggdrasil. Vedrfolnirmon takes its name, being a small brown hawk, and flies around the Digital World, seeking to satisfy its curiosity.
In-Training: Vedrfolnirmon
Attribute: Data
Family: Wind Guardians
Type: Small Bird
Attacks:
Digivolves To: Ratatoskrmon
Appearance:
Ratatoskr in mythology was a squirrel which climbed the World Tree, Yggdrasil. It travelled from the crown to the roots, between the eagle at the top, and Nidhoggr at its roots. Every time one of the two badmouthed the other, Ratatoskr would scurry to the other and tell it so. As such, it was also the name used for the messenger program for Yggdrasil, the overseer of the Digital World. Ratatoskr was a non-sentient simple program, whose only function was to carry messages and orders.
Ratatoskrmon is what arose from Ratatoskr being infected with the X-antibody. True to the mythological Ratatoskr, Ratatoskrmon takes the form of a squirrel. Standing roughly two feet tall, Ratatoskrmon is roughly of average size for a Rookie level Digimon. He is covered in reddish-brown fur, and has a bushy tail. Other than size, his appearance is almost entirely consistent with that of a squirrel. The major difference is that on his forehead, he bears an ivory horn.
As a result of the original form being a messenger program, Ratatoskrmon bears the same capacity. Unlike his original form, however, Ratatoskrmon is sentient. As such, he uses his messaging power for mischief, rather than good. Like the mythical Ratatoskr, he brings news of badmouthing from the speaker to the spoken of, to incite ill will.
Rookie: Ratatoskrmon
Attribute: Data
Family: Nature Spirits
Type: Beast
Attacks:
Digivolves To:Eikthyrnirmon
Appearance:
Eikthyrnir is the deer which stands atop Valhalla, eating from the branches of Yggdrasil. From his horns flow water, which drops into the Hvergelmir, the source of all water.
Eikthyrnirmon takes the form of a large stag, roughly twelve feet tall. His horns are made of pure flowing water. These horns extend a further three feet from his head. The water can harden into an icelike state when necessary, allowing him to use them for offense or defense. Eikthyrnirmon is covered in a very thick, dark brown coat of fur.
Eikthyrnirmon retains Ratatoskrmon’s message taking ability. Unlike Ratatoskrmon, he actually is willing to use it for its intended purpose: Taking messages. His message carrying skills are aided by his four long, stilt like legs, which carry him far and fast when necessary. He is decidedly more mature than Ratatoskrmon, and is by far the kindest form of the Digimon. His anger at Yggdrasil buzzes at the back of his mind, but he finds it easy to ignore and does so.
Champion: Eikthyrnirmon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family: Nature Spirits
Type: Holy Beast
Attacks:
Digivolves To: Fenrirmon
Appearance:
A bundle of unbridled rage, Fenrirmon is by far the most vicious form. In mythology, Fenrir was a massive wolf, prophesized to kill Odin at Ragnarok. Because of prophecies that Fenrir would bring the Gods great harm, they decided to fetter him- Though Fenrir broke any chain placed upon him. Fenrir was finally bound by the rope Gleipnir, made of the sound of a cat’s footfall, the beard of a woman, the roots of a mountain, the sinews of a bear, the breath of a fish, and the spittle of a bird. Of course, in the process of binding Fenrir, the wolf demanded that the god Tyr’s hand be placed in his mouth, as a guarantee. When the gods managed to bind him with Gleipnir, which he could not break, the enraged wolf instantly bit Tyr’s hand off at the wrist.
Fenrirmon, like his namesake, takes the form of a massive wolf. Being of enormous size, he easily dwarfs his previous form. Standing roughly four times as tall as Eikthyrnirmon, he is twice that again in length. As such He bears jet black fur, and a malignant gleam in his red eyes. His wrath at Yggdrasil who created him has grown, but is unfocused, leading him to lash at all around him.
Tied securely around his body, is the great golden rope Gleipnir, said to be unbreakable. Lining his mouth are vicious teeth, curved inward so as to hook onto anything he bites into. Built for combat, Fenrirmon is not a foe you want to face unless you are confident of victory. With his vicious fangs and claws, the great wolf is not known for leaving his victims unscathed. Eternally bloodthirsty, the beast is known to devour the corpses of those he kills- Though, not before he has slain as many as he can.
Ultimate: Fenrirmon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Nature Spirits, Dark Area, Nightmare Soldiers
Type: Demon Beast
Attacks:
Digivolves To: Nidhoggrmon
Appearance:
Described as a serpent, or a dragon, Nidhoggr lives among Yggdrasil’s roots. He gnaws on the roots of Yggdrasil, and feeds on the corpses of the slain. On Ragnarok, he will carry the dead forth from Hel to fight. It is said that this event may be the herald of the beginning of Ragnarok.
Nidhoggrmon takes the form of a massive dragon. He stands much larger than Fenrirmon- Twice as tall, and roughly a hundred feet long. He is coated in black scales, which glimmer in the light. The massive wings on his back are in tatters, and he cannot fly. Nidhoggrmon’s breath is highly caustic. Because of this, he tends to leave a trail of dead plants wherever he walks. Like Fenrirmon, he is prone to eating the bodies of his defeated foes. Unlike Fenrirmon, he has no such bloodlust tendency. Where his Ultimate form is very much so a savage beast, his Mega level displays far more sensibility, even retreating when he knows he cannot win.
A long time ago, he may have been saddened by the death and destruction he leaves behind. Now, he just bitterly blames Yggdrasil, who created him, for his woes and those of the Digimon around him. For what good are wings, if one cannot fly?
Mega: Nidhoggrmon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Dark Area, Nightmare Soldiers, Dragon’s Roar
Type: Dark Dragon
Attacks:
Digivolves To: Jormungandramon
Appearance:
Jormungandr. The Midgard Serpent. A snake so large, it can encircle the world and grasp its own tail. Jormungandr traditionally is placed as a rival to Thor, with legends of Thor fishing for the snake using the head of an ox. When Ragnarok comes, Jormungandr will raise from the sea and fill the skies with poison. Well, until Thor slays the Midgard Serpent, walks nine paces, then drops dead due to the serpent’s poison, that is.
Jormungandramon lives up to his name. A snake of gargantuan size. At his full length, he could stretch from one end of the Digital World to the other. Being this large is extremely disruptive, however. Due to this, Yggdrasil, overseer of the Digital World, forcibly limited Jormungandramon to a much more manageable size. Despite this, Jormungandramon is still massive, his mere presence being enough to warrant the declaration of a disaster. Furthermore, while he has been compressed to a smaller form, he is still as heavy as ever- Making him easily one of the heaviest Digimon in existence. His disagreement with the necessity of his size limitation only furthers the hatred he feels for Yggdrasil.
Due to the immense size and power of Jormungandramon, the compression used to limit his size is extremely unstable. Usually, Jormungandramon pits his own immense power against the power that compresses his size- Because of this, he is generally found at the largest possible size, roughly 250 feet long, and 30 feet in both depth and width. Furthermore, due to his extreme weight, Jormungandramon causes chaos where he travels, destroying the landscape simply by moving through it. No matter where he moves, he leaves a deep furrow in the earth.

Skills/Talents:
- Messenger. Originally a messenger program, is more than capable of storing and repeating messages in the original speaker’s voice. Happily uses this to incite conflict by taking words out of context.
- Speed. What use is a messenger who is late?
- For the moment, nothing.
Ratatoskrmon is fully aware of his original nature as a messenger program, and hates that fact. Digivolves To:Eikthyrnirmon
Appearance:
Eikthyrnir is the deer which stands atop Valhalla, eating from the branches of Yggdrasil. From his horns flow water, which drops into the Hvergelmir, the source of all water.

Champion: Eikthyrnirmon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family: Nature Spirits
Type: Holy Beast
Attacks:
- Healing Water - Eikthyrnirmon infuses his watery horns with his life energy, restoring energy to all who drink it. He himself cannot heal off of this, and he is weakened through the use of this technique. Cooldown: 1 post.
- Oak Thorny - Hardens his watery horns into a solid state, then charges. Beware the sharp icicles that form!
- Ice Nine - By touching his horn to water, Eikthyrnirmon can convert that water to the same ice-like state as his horns. The area that can be hardened this way is limited to roughly that of a pond. This technique is primarily used for creating pathways over water, or for trapping enemies that somehow found themselves in the water. Strong foes, of course, will simply break the ice, finding it little more than a nuisance. Duration: 2 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
- Hvergelmir Pierce - Absorbing water from the atmosphere, Eikthyrnirmon extends his horns to twice their normal size. If there is a proper water source or body nearby, Eikthyrnirmon can instead dip his horns in that to triple their size. This amplifies the power of his other abilities. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.

- Passive: Bloodlust - When Fenrirmon defeats a foe, he enters a frenzy, dealing increased damage on all abilities for the next two posts.
- Grappling Maw - Fenrirmon bites deep into an enemy, his curved teeth sinking in like barbs, to prevent escape. After the initial damage, the target may not leave melee range while this is active. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts.
- Gleipnir Guard - Fenrirmon rears up, using the rop Gleipnir wrapped around his torso to guard against an attack. While he will be struck with the impact of the attack, Gleipnir will prevent any weapons from piercing his pelt. Cooldown: 2 posts.
- Paw Swipe - Fenrirmon swipes at his foe with a massive paw- Usually with claws extended.
- Rend and Slaughter - A pair of vicious swipes, one from each of Fenrirmon’s front paws. Cooldown: 1 post.
- Devour - Fenrirmon swallows a chunk of a fallen enemy to restore health- The amount restored being based on the level of the foe being eaten. Additionally, Fenrirmon can use Devour while Grappling Maw is active to end the effect early, but deal damage and heal as he swallows the chunk of his foe that is in his mouth. Cooldown: 3 posts.

- Malice Striker - Nidhoggrmon lashes out with whatever limb is near his foe, be it leg, tail, or even wing.
- Burning Breath - A strictly stronger breath attack, this one not only burns due to being caustic… But also due to it being on fire! Ouch! Cooldown: 1 post
- Corpse Eater - Nidhoggrmon is capable of restoring his strength by eating the remains of defeated Digimon- Furthermore, he can absorb data from Digimon eaten in this way. Cooldown: 2 posts
- Harbinger of Ragnarok - A black shape takes form over Nidhoggrmon’s back, giving him the appearance of bearing an army of the damned. While this ability is active, Nidhoggrmon gains the ability to fly, as well as the attack Hyakki Yakou. Duration: 6 posts. Cooldown: 3 posts.
- Hyakki Yakou - Only available during Harbinger of Ragnarok. Extends the dark force on his back as an extra limb, with an extremely long reach, in order to strike foes.

No matter where he moves, he leaves a deep furrow in the earth.
Super Mega: Jormungandramon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Dragon’s Roar
Type: World Serpent
Attacks:
- Passive: {Unstable Seal} - Jormungandramon’s size may be forcibly reduced, but his power makes the mechanism for that reduction unstable. As such, he is capable of both growing and shrinking by working with or against it, up to a certain degree. At his smallest, he can fit into the Terminus Mall- Though, not without causing major disruption to all around him. At his largest, while less than a percent of his true size, Jormungandramon is still extremely massive, dwarfing nearly all other Digimon.
- Passive: {Lifting The Cat} - Jormungandramon may be compressed into a smaller form, but the data is all there, just in a much denser format. As such, Jormungandramon is extremely heavy, and certainly has the highest weight:size ratio of all Digimon. In other words… If you want to lift him, it would probably be easier to alter gravity, first.
- Body Slam - Jormungandramon rears up, and slams his head forward with the entire force of his weight behind it (See: Lifting the Cat). Even if this is dodged, its impact with the ground sends shockwaves, unbalancing anyone foolish enough to stand near him.
- Tail Swipe - Don’t be too focused on the head, now. Jormungandramon is so large, he can stare you in the eye while swinging his tail around to hit you in the back!
- Poison Fang - Jormungandramon attempts to bite you with his extremely venomous fangs. If this lands, the target is poisoned for 5 turns This poison cannot be removed by status curing effects, and both reduces combat effectiveness and deals damage each post.. Cooldown: 1 post.
- Growth Strike - Utilizing his passive {Unstable Seal}, Jormungandramon increases the size of either his head or tail as he strikes with it, making his reach deceptively wrong. Due to the temporary nature of this growth, it can allow him to exceed the normal limits set on him by his compression. Cooldown: 1 post.
- Poison Spew: Sick of trying to bite Digimon that, relative to him, are little larger than insects… Jormungandramon instead opens his mouth wide and spews poison into the air. All enveloped in this cloud of noxious gas are poisoned for 3 turns. While poisoned, targets deal reduced damage and Cooldown: 2 posts.
- Wrath of the Midgard Serpent - Forms a shield around Jormungandramon. The shield’s strength is increased based on the damage taken by Jormungandramon in the past two posts. After a further two posts, if the shield is unbroken after a further two turns, it explodes, damaging everything around Jormungandramon. Cooldown: 2 posts.
- Ragnarok - Jormungandramon enters a frenzy, flailing about and smashing everything near him- Which is a lot, considering his size. Afterwards, Jormungandramon is left in the center of a crater, severely exhausted. Jormungandramon may not use attacks while Ragnarok is on cooldown. If Jormungandramon would be defeated while Ragnarok is active, the defeat is postponed until the attack is complete. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 5 posts.
