Name: Yuuto Ono
Alias: None
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 173 lbs
Alignment: Good
Birth Date: April 18th, 1999
Birth Place: Ebisu, Tokyo
Western Horoscope: Aries
Eastern Zodiac: Earth Rabbit
Skills/Talents: Dramatic; Yuuto is deeply involved in the drama club at his school, and so can sew, act, and improvise when pressed.
Animal care; his mother is a dedicated dog breeder, and while Yuuto isn't deeply invested in that business, he has been forced to help out with it from time to time, and so has a lot of second-hand knowledge on caring for animals.
Personality: Yuuto has a powerful personality, one that tends to fill up any room he's in. While he wouldn't admit to liking the spotlight, he can't help but end up there most of the time, quick to take charge of any situation if no one else had already claimed the leadership role for themselves. And even if they did, Yuuto is motivated to stand right beside them and assist in any way he can - which doesn't always work out, since he's still a young adult at best, and rarely has the full picture in mind when making decisions or talking things out with his seniors or superiors.
But by no means is Yuuto a bad or power-hungry person. He's usually driven by compassion; a desire to do right by others, with the understanding that a lot of good people are too meek to stand out on their own. And with not enough people anxious to step forward and carry responsibility, often the few that do become overburdened; they deserve compassion and help just as much.
Yuuto strives to help everyone, but is prone to getting in over his head. Normally he'd be bailed out by adults that realized he was trying to do too much on his own, but as he approaches adulthood himself, that's got to change. Yuuto's going to have to learn to effectively carry all the burdens he gives himself, or ask for help and spread the work around appropriately. Or else he's going to start failing, a lot, and his confidence may not survive.
Appearance: Yuuto is a teenage boy of average build; tall, especially for a young Japanese man, but not so much that he stands out or is peculiar for it. His hair is short and light brown, and tends to flare out the sides and back - bedhead that just became a natural style as a result of never brushing back there. His eyes are a darker brown.
A typical outfit for him is something simple and low maintenance; usually a white tee and the black pants of his school uniform, and a comfortable pair of running shoes. He's nearsighted and meant to wear glasses, but will go without them when at home. As a direct result, there's usually small bruises in strange places from him bumping into things, usually hidden by his clothes and small enough to not be worth noting.
He likes borrowing costumes and prop pieces from the drama club, and is 'forgetful' enough to not return pieces he really adores. As a result, there are a few different colored cloaks in his wardrobe that sure look the part of a dramatic cape, but wouldn't actually protect the wearer from anything. He'll also borrow the occasional mask, which is just another excuse to not wear his glasses. The masks are all flimsy plastic though, so out of respect for the club's props, he wouldn't wear them anywhere but home.
Personal History: Yuuto grew up simple and middle-class; his mother is an amateur dog breeder, specializing in chins (commonly known as a Japanese spaniel). His father is an accountant for a hospital near to their home. With two health-conscious parents, he grew up a happy and healthy boy, with freedom to explore his talents and interests. As a result, his personality was allowed to grow, but in a positive way through an environment all about care and responsibility for others.
A wild imagination and shameless personality got him noticed pretty quickly at school, and he was invited to the drama club at his high school. He always did well, but often needed to be reigned in. Yuuto clearly had more fun during comedy and improv sections, and openly struggled with rules and overly rigid structure.
He does well in school, performing within the top fifteen of his year. Thinking about college leaves him feeling stalled and unsure, like he's waiting for something to happen first to make his future clear. Until that feeling becomes less vague, Yuuto plans on pursuing a career like his father's, in the hopes that will make finding a position easier.
Backpack Contents:
- Glasses: Yuuto is nearsighted, and should really wear his glasses more, but as it is tends to only wear them while in class or walking around outside.
- Costume piece: A black cloak, that falls around his calves. Utterly incapable of protecting the wearer from anything but a light breeze, but it looks pretty cool.
Digivice: A standard D3 Digivice with a black body and white grips on the side.
Partner’s Name: Doll, Dolly, Doll-face.
Default Form: Rookie
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral
Skills/Talents: Most of Doll's evolutions give her a bipedal, humanoid form - allowing her to look either like an antique toy or a person in a costume. This gives her an edge when it comes to disguising herself, either from enemies in the Digital World, or from unknowing humans in the real world.
For a long time, Doll had very little presence, and so was easily ignored. This granted her an observant nature, and made it easy for her to quietly study and understand the world around her.
Her eyes can illuminate, lighting up the dark, but it's always a soft light and should be considered a tool or talent rather than an attack.
Personality: When Doll and Yuuto first got acquainted, her personality was somewhat flat. She was a Digimon not used to being around others, and so was both dull and blunt; making observations of others as best she could, and then just blurting out whatever she was thinking with little regards to the consequences. Most of the Digimon that hear her tend to just ignore her though, leaving to wonder if they actually heard or not. Even short-tempered Digimon have yet to try and pick a fight with a frail looking Rookie over careless observations.
As a result, Doll feels pretty lonely most of the time, even if she can't put those feelings into words. With little memory of her past and not much imagination for the future, Doll is just 'floating' through the Digital World, observing without being a real part of it. With a mechanical body and secretive weapons, it stands to reason she's a weapon of some kind. Doll can't say for what, though, because she simply isn't sure.
As she and Yuuto spend more time together, his big personality will begin to rub off on her, especially as she began to evolve - gaining a character more suited to a stage, with a booming voice and a dazzling style that refused to be ignored. Any time she regresses to her quiet Rookie form, it's like becoming someone absolutely different.DIGIMON'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
Appearance: A flat oval, seemingly carved from wood, with three holes in the front representing a face; a single yellow light will move back and forth between any of the three holes, and seems to be the Fresh Digimon's only eye; it can similiarly fire bubbles out of any of the holes not in use by its eye, but they're very weak. Lacks any form of mobility on its own.
Fresh: Antemon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Machine
Type: Antique Toy
Attacks: Fresh Bubbles - a few weak bubbles are fired from the Digimon's 'mouth.'
Digivolves To: Antiqmon
Appearance: Larger than Antemon, with a wind-up key on the Digimon's back that slowly turns as it moves. Able to move on its own by hopping or rolling. Occasionally needs to be wound back up. Two of the three holes have proper eyes behind them now, and they don't deviate from those spots. The mouth is wider and cracked, with a mechanism like an automatic bubble blower directly inside.
In-Training: Antiqmon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Machine
Type: Antique Toy
Attacks: Auto-Bubbles - bubbles are fired more rapidly from the user. Still not very strong.
Wood Tackle - Antiqmon flings their body at the target; weak concussive force from their hard body.
Digivolves To: Dollmon
Appearance: Dollmon is, true to her name, a small toy Digimon with the likeness of a young girl - sort of. There are clear markings on her body where her joints connect, and she's very short, at only sixty centimeters high. Her movements and speech are very mechanical, with long blonde hair and a sky blue dress and white apron that give the impression of a doll inspired by classical literature. She also usually looks as though she's in disrepair. Her joints creak, and there are tatters in her clothes. Her legs make it seem like she's wearing stockings, but they're actually just painted white. The same can be said of her arms. The black mary-janes on her feet are real enough, though. There's a wind-up key in her back, between her shoulders, made of worn brass. Her eyes are normally a light blue, unless her flashlight feature is triggered, in which case the blue turns transparent to let light out.
Rookie: Dollmon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Machine
Type: Antique Toy
Attacks: Open Fire - The joints in her mouth dislodge to reveal a small cannon that fires a heavy metal ball; it loses power and begins to fall at longer ranges.
Reach Out - Her limbs are detachable, anchored to her body with a sturdy cable, and can extend themselves short distances. Great for grabbing things or attacking at medium range. When fully extended, it takes a post to reel her limbs back in before they can move again.
Static Touch - When her limbs are fully extended, Dollmon can send a short static charge through the cables connecting them to her to deal electric damage to whatever she's grabbed.
Digivolves To: PlayRoughmon
Appearance: Much taller than Dollmon, but still shorter than your average person. Her hair has become more lusterous and realistic, the wear on her old clothes mended. Her skin looks more 'natural' than the carved wood she appeared to be made from, but still distinctly non-human to the touch. Her blue dress has been replaced with a red one, wider at the base. The white apron covering it has a thick bow tying it in the back. Small white wings extend from either side of her head, facing backwards; they're purely ornamental. Her shoes have gone from dainty mary janes to cute and feminine boots.
Her defining feature is a pair of stocky metal arms extending from her back that operate independently from her normal slender ones, a sleek black and square design to contract the rest of her. The hands on these large arms end in clenched fists, with square boxes on the knuckles that launch short range missiles. The missiles themselves have red caps, bringing contrast to their black housing when not being fired. When shot, they're slender and sleek, and maintain that glossy black finish.
Champion: PlayRoughmon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Machine
Type: Toy
Attacks: Rock 'Em Rockets - A few missiles fire at a time from her black arms. They do heavy explosive damage, but become easier to dodge at farther ranges. She carries eight servos, with four rockets each, for a total of twenty-four rockets. After all of them are fired, it takes two posts to reload.
Heavy Metal! - Those big steel arms deliver a few pummeling blows; very close range. Capable of picking up and throwing enemies that aren't too heavy; combos well with her rockets.
Remote Jab - Both or either of her fists can be fired off like a rocket punch. She can alternate between launching and reeling in one of her fists, but if she fires both at once, it will be a turn before the attack can be used again.
Secret Fire - PlayRoughmon opens the joints on her mouth to shoot fire out of a hidden port in her head. A desperation attack if her opponent is in a less than desirable range. Can cause immolation; flames will cause extra damage to the opponent for three posts, or they can spend one putting the fire out. Obviously, this is resisted heavily by opponents with a fire affinity. It also requires a turn of cooldown; shooting fire out of your face isn't easy.
Digivolves To: Currently Unknown!OPTIONAL EVOLUTIONARY STAGES - DIGIMENTAL OF COMPASSION
Appearance: Dollmon's long blond hair becomes short pink hair, bangs covering one eye. The other is covered in a transparent white visor, attached to a small white hat perched on her head. She carries a large, cartoonish two-handed rifle that looks more like a toy than any actual gun. On the front of her dress, there are large red plus signs that can be freely spun, and will spin on their own when she declares a relevant attack. Wings on her shoes seem to increase her speed, allowing her to fly brief distances, but she gets almost no vertical clearance - only faster horizontal movement.
Unlike PlayRoughmon, PlayNursemon's dress is a slender pencil skirt, to help optimize her mobility. The visor over her eye provides the same kind of readouts her Tamer might get on his D3, and a custom program to help her determine how long a friendly target would require to heal. Quick decisions in battle are made easier that way. A metal plate, resembling a typical medical face mask, is normally wrapped around the back of her neck, but can move to cover her mouth. This is almost purely visual effect; as a mechanical Digimon, she has little need of oxygen. Though the plate does protect from light attacks made at her face.
Armor Champion: PlayNursemon
Attribute: Vaccine
Family/ies: Machine
Type: Toy
Attacks: +Booster (Pronounced 'PlusBooster') - the metal ornaments on her dress will spin to their upright position, and her weapon fires a steady healing beam. The weapon could take several posts to restore a partner to full health, especially if their rank is higher than hers. Digimon of a lower rank than hers are healed much faster. After each healing shot, a turn of cooldown is necessary.
xBuster (Pronounced 'CrossBuster') - The metal ornaments spin into an X position on her dress, and the rifle fires a single blast of a mid-sized red X. Moderate damage, but great range, make it a reliable attack.
Booster Heels - PlayNursemon can increase her speed temporarily, which can lead into a powerful tackle if an opponent is close enough. Typically used just to cross terrain. One post of cooldown after each use.
White Barrier - PlayNursemon projects a shield capable of withstanding a few moderate attacks or a single strong one. If not shattered, it lasts for three posts, and cools down for two either way. Higher ranked Digimon could easily pierce the shield and still connect with their attack.
