Name: Sunada Sumiko
Alias: Sumi, Susu
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 90 lbs
Alignment: Neutral
Birth Date: 2/18
Birth Place: Tokyo, Japan
Western Horoscope: Aquarius
Eastern Zodiac: Goat
Skills/Talents: Can play the guitar (3 years of practice). Also likes to bake (is not very good at it).
Personality: Sunada Sumiko, known as Susu by her school friends, is a somewhat shallow, but overall amiable young lady who likes music, handsome men twice her age, and video games (though she would never admit to that last one). She tends to treat just about everyone with some modicum of respect, though she does show preferential treatment to attractive people, somewhat shamelessly. Nevertheless, she isn't without humbleness, nor does she have illusions of being worthy of a lot of people she's into. She's the sort of girl who would go out of her way to help someone getting bullied, but wouldn't invite that person to hang out. Susu is also the sort of girl who can't make up her mind as to whether she's mean or not.
The young girl is obviously into maintaining appearances, physically and via the people she surrounds herself with. At the same time, she doesn't just want to make people sad by denying them. This is why she can't actually say that she wouldn't be caught dead hanging out with the class weirdo. There's something about the different that makes her incapable of declining them, a sort of underlying guilt that should she flat out refuse to give them a chance, they would just see her as another bitch who made their life hell. Though Susu would personally claim they're like a puppy.
To a friend, Sumiko is a boon in personal confidence. She's the rare sort of shallow girl who gives genuine compliments, though obviously she's not very gentle when dealing with the truth. She certainly wouldn't lie to a friend maliciously, which is a bonus, but also something that she would dictate as a bad thing, since she can't bring herself to stamp out undue confidence before it leads to problems. Overall, Susu is pretty difficult to befriend without having a foot in the door through mutual enjoyment or being a part of one of her interests. Basically, she gets along best with avid music fans, musicians, attractive older boys, and gamers (though again, she wouldn't admit to it).
Once a person is a friend of hers, she is pretty quick to go out of her way for them regardless of circumstances. The young lady is very adamant that her friends should not take on any significant burden alone. Then she hypocritically takes all of their burden onto her own shoulders, and much like the control freak she tends to be, she will start domineering the situation until it's either resolved, or she makes it worse. There's not really an in-between, because until it's legitimately worse, "it's fine". Obviously, people don't know they're actually her friend until she does something of this sort for them. Afterwards she is either full of pride at her achievement, or she is genuinely apologetic for making a mess.
To an ally, in reference to anyone who isn't oppositional to her, but is also not her friend, she is basically as described: Shallow but amiable. Susu is quick-witted in terms of picking out weaknesses that people may have, though she only does this on a physical level. The only way to really gather ally from foe is whether or not she uses this quickly-gathered ammunition in conversation. She's not exactly quick on the uptake with overly friendly people, and may come across as an archetypal tsundere when placed side by side with someone who just makes friends with anyone.
To a foe, which means anyone unfortunate enough to incidentally find themselves in opposition with her, Sumiko is pretty much belligerent, in a word. She is not afraid of much, and is more prone to call an angry monster fat and stupid-looking than scream. Though she will do so from a safe distance away, and start running if she actually sparked its ire. The young girl's shallowness comes out very prominently in such a situation, wherein she will decide that she is better than her foe and act as such, not even stopping to consider the possible downsides of flinging a cocky insult. This could wind up turning foes into actual life-long enemies, or it could end in one of those friendships that thrive on long strings on shallow and insincere hostilities.
In the event of making an enemy, she is utterly hateful. She has a sort of passive-aggressive level of hatred which isn't accessed until she is mutual enemies with someone else. To Susu, a true enemy, though she's never had one as of yet, is someone who she doesn't even care if she is better than, she just wants them to lose, and if she can't manage that, then she just wants their victory to be hollow. In such a case she is very irrational-seeming, reading into the subject of her enmity, and figuring out the best way she can affect them negatively. Afterwards she will put her findings into action, observe, evaluate, redraw, and repeat until neither of them has put up with one another ever again. This can range from a very brief session of temper tantrums in the case of people she'll never meet again, but could stem into an entire dynamic for enemies who are in the same school as her.
To note, she only ever makes true enemies with people who are worth the effort. It's a form of catharsis to utterly crush someone challenging and oppositional to the bitter end.
In summary, she's friendly, albeit conceited and uppity, and while respectful to everyone if she can be, is marginally more pleasant to be around the more positive the interactions she has with others. This ranges on a spectrum from borderline idiotic friendliness, to borderline homicidal fury, with many flavors in between.
Appearance:
Sumiko stands below eye level for many people, so the typical mannerism in which one may first meet her happens to be a top-down panning method of observation. Thusly the first thing many people notice about her is her hair, which is a vibrant bubblegum pink, and is tied into twin side-ponytails that hang down to her mid-back. When untied, this hair would reach lower than her rump in length, reach the top of her legs. Susu's hair is dyed this color through occasional days dedicated to the process, by her choice obviously. It was originally brown, but its since been bleached and dyed several times to the point where it would naturally settle to a pink-tinged platinum color should she not dye it for several months. She often ties them up with red or pink ribbons.
Once the eyes manage to make it beyond the vivid coloration of her hair they will wind up locking eyes with her, since her bangs manage to just stop over them. Susu's eyes are a blue coloration naturally, though she has learned to wear pink contact lenses to keep up her fun and exotic look going strong. She's gotten good at putting them in and taking them out, but she is not actually that good at general maintenance, since she tends to leave that to her mom. Thusly, in the odd situation when she can't rely on her mom to keep the contacts appropriately hydrated, she'll simply not wear them. Such situations tend to be when her mom is away on business trips, her dad being more clumsy with the things than she is. Trivial nonsense aside, her eyes are naturally blue, but are often pink when in public and when she's taking pictures.
One finally makes it to Sumiko's cheeks before they actually get a look at her complexion. There isn't much to say on the matter there because she is too young for anything of note to cause a distinct alteration. Her skin is basically flawless, which it to be expected for kids her age. Its coloration is the yellow-tinged peach coloration prominent in Japan, not unlike just about any pure blooded asian. She wears very minimal make-up, often going completely without, and at most using a little bit of blush.
Her facial details are as typical small, though she has a somewhat angular face, her chin being slightly pointed. Her ears sit slightly low, with slightly larger than average lobes. The most prominent features on her face in terms of actual apparent size would be her eyes and her mouth. She has a scrawny neck, as most children do.
Susu is just beginning puberty, a slightly early bloomer, and while she's not developing a great deal vertically, she has what some refer to as a 'loli-bod', which is a term you may or may not start using from here on out. While her height is not much different from boys her age (and she is short for early-bloomers), she has developed proportions, which sets her apart physically from others her age. She has a B-Cup, which is looking to develop further, a figure rather close to hourglass. Truly a terrible condition to come down with.
She obscures this body with somewhat modest clothing, that being a pink dress worn with a long sleeve frilly pick jacket-vest, a matching pink mantle. She also wears tights underneath the dress (keeps her legs warm) with pink sneakers. This dress is kept clean, and she tends to freak out whenever it gets any level of messy, since it's an hand-me-down from her mom. Other outfits she may wear tend to be variants of this style of dressing, with different colors.
Sumiko's a two-piece kind of girl when it comes to swimwear, she's though she's a sweats or track suit kind of girl when it comes to gym clothes. She likes to stick with colors that match her hair and eyes, but isn't afraid to try on new clothes when shopping.
Other details that may be of note are her hands, which are kept somewhat dainty, though this is through maintainance. Her fingers in particular are quite calloused from the time she's spent practicing guitar with her dad. She paints her nails, but never wears long fake ones, so that she can practice more easily.
Personal History: Sunada Sumiko was born into the Sumiko family, her father is a washed up musician, Sunada Sadayoshi, who played as a lead guitarist in several bands throughout his career though his hardcore party-type attitude getting him booted before he became well reknown. Her mother's maiden name was Nagai Kaori, and she was heiress to a marginally successful telemarketing business, just starting up the ladder of her career at the time. She was an interestingly orderly lady, they met on a blind date thanks to a mutual friend, and their relationship blossomed.
Sadayoshi becoming more tame and less abrasive to people whilst still hanging on to old dreams, and Kaori lightening up and learning a bit about how to be free spirited, they were married just thirteen years ago. A year later, Sunada Sumiko was born, and she got the best of both worlds for a good while. Her childhood was simultaneously structured and incredibly free at the same time. Many kids would be jealous of her parents, since they're both really cool people, who practically exude charisma in their own ways.
Since her mother was a businesswoman, and thusly more and more often was away on business trips, Susu took after her father a bit more, and rather admired his life story and talents. His repertoire expansive like a library of eclectic musical tastes, Sadayoshi granted her a musical palette quite heavily centered around the guitar, and its various capabilities. Sumiko was surrounded by music, and since her mother was successful and brought in a good deal of money, she was also granted the finer things in life, modernity was no stranger to her.
She was taught the ways of social interaction from both a rock star and a businesswoman, which basically lead to two coinciding things: Confidence and respect. In these things, she was given the secret to a life of fulfilling relationships.
If only either of her parents were the house hold keeping type.
If there was any flaw to their family dynamic, it was that neither of her parents truly knew how to clean. Their idea of clean was all the piles of trash were in the garbage can, and anything that could be arranged alphabetically was done so with. This left dishes, laundry, blankets and chairs strewn about like a tornado swept through almost daily. Sumiko never really got to learn any housekeeper-type things, like cooking or cleaning. In fact, she doesn't even realize the mess is a problem until she goes to a friends house and they apologize for the mess.
The home dynamic aside, her life was pretty much normal. There were no psychopaths harboring grudges against her family, no drug problems or domestic abuse. She never got a pet in her youth, though she's done pet simulators on video games in the past. Her grades were good, because her parents were educated and could help her out when she was in a pinch with studies. Susu's life was basically what one would come to expect from a person like her.
The biggest challenge in her life was a talent show she was participating in two years into guitar lessons from her father. She learned that she had crippling stage fright, more intense when she was playing for more than a few people. She didn't win, she barely played the first riff into the cover she was doing, as she missed a note and ran off stage in embarrassment. It was pretty bad, but that's literally the most traumatizing thing she's experienced thus far. Note of interest, she has no interest in making a career out of guitar anymore.

Personality: Goblimon, as he will most often be referenced, is a genuinely kind individual who, despite his looks and his kinds' tendencies, bears no ill will towards anyone and only does what he must do in order to get himself and his friends through any given situation. His general outlook is much more optimistic and kindly than that of most other Goblimon, which could potentially lead him to be ostracized from his own kind. Not that he'd actually want anything to do with the majority of those ruffians. Nonetheless, he is a social creature, and aims to make friends where he can.
When it comes to friendship, Goblimon is generally on top of maintaining it. He is the kind of guy who will basically do anything for a friend. He's somewhat naive in his outlook, and believes that no friend would ever maliciously cause harm to another friend, whilst also believing that once a friend, always a friend. This outlook can either lead him to soul crushing despair, or change others for the better, to which if he were outside looking in, he would hope for the latter.
Then comes the difference between allies and friends. Allies are basically those he doesn't know well enough to call a friend, but are still helping him. Due to the basic requirement for friendship with him being that he knows their name, there are hardly situations in which he is merely working with allies. Maybe if he was working in a really poorly coordinated military unit? Whatever the case, strangers are just friends he hasn't met yet.
The same line of thought goes towards his foes. He truly wishes that he could change his foes, but due to the violent nature of digimon, Goblimon's typical encounters with such opposition would begin and end with violence. In the case he's just competing against someone in a cooking competition, or simply having a debate or whatever wacky non-violent competitive antics he would so happily dive into, he would most certainly be amongst the more civil opponents. This makes him pretty bad at debates, but usually good in competitions where foul play isn't encouraged.
Then there are enemies, and it's really hard to become his enemy on account of having to wrong him in some way, and get away with it long enough to move beyond the foe barrier. Goblimon does enemies like a tiger does broccoli, in that it's very very rare, and it has to be forced upon him through extenuating circumstances. The results are similar as well. Where a tiger would likely purge its system of the vegetable due to not being able to process it, he would start having somewhat physical reactions to the rage, placing him in dire need of cathartic release. This would be solved either through a primal blood rage ending with some amount of undue death either on his part or that of others, or through another medium which may be appropriate. Obviously attaining a true enemy on a cooking show would not result in him rampaging through the streets like a bat out of hell, but he might settle for cooking in a vastly more impassioned mannerism, something so utterly fantastic that it crushes his enemy's hopes underfoot.
In summary, Goblimon is an affable fellow, who genuinely dislikes violence and only uses it as a means to protect himself and others from those who could not otherwise be dissuaded (I.E. basically any rampaging digimon ever). Despite this, he does hold a healthy taste for competition, the less violent the better, and is actually very compelled to partake in such events.DIGIMON'S INITIAL EVOLUTION LINE
