Pikeymon & RoyalPikeymon! [Twin Solo]
|
Post by Pikemons on Mar 10, 2016 18:34:25 GMT
Name: Pikeymon Default Form: Mega Gender: Male Alignment: Lawful Neutral Skills/Talents: Pikeymon does not have any unique talents or skills to speak of aside from being exceptionally 'obedient' towards his brother, RoyalPikeymon. The tough and ever serious Pikeymon loves his brother so much that failing to please him would result in a bought of depression for Pikeymon. This has therefore resulted in the development of his skill to follow through with orders, probably the most 'real' skill he possesses.
Pikeymon has developed the skill to adapt to almost any situation much like a great detective able to adapt to new pieces of evidence. This sort of adaptability allows him to fulfill his brother's orders quickly and efficiently.
Inventory: None
Personality: A stern, serious, brooding, and loving brother to RoyalPikeymon. Pikeymon doesn't like his name, Pikeymon, as it represents his weakness as a guardian towards his brother, the giver of the nickname. However, Pikeymon's love for his brother is so strong that he would allow his pesky brother to do or say anything while always having his back.
Pikeymon's main goal in life is to make his brother, RoyalPikeymon, happy. With RoyalPikeymon's goal being "The King of All Things Ever", Pikeymon has no other choice but to help his brother reach that ridiculously impossible goal. Pikeymon will do anything for his brother which basically leaves no personality for Pikeymon himself, but Pikeymon believes himself to be his brother's will put into physical form!
However, Pikeymon does get annoyed by his brother from time to time. He often shows his expressions vividly much like his brother, one of the few traits they share. Pikeymon loves his brother, but there is only so much arrogance he can withstand. Pikeymon is always there for RoyalPikeymon, but he always has some reservations about following certain orders. He would rather just be a guardian than a keeper of his brother's will.
Personal History: The two brothers share the same history as they are always with each other. However, both have different perspectives, given their different personalities. Pikeymon was hatched like a normal digimon without anything special about his appearance. All other freshly hatched Conemon and the like were indistinguishable from one another aside from one; Pikeymon's brother was red in color and had a birthmark in the shape of a crown.
All the little Conemon that took sight of the RedConemon laughed and made fun of him. That is, aside from the RedConemon's brother. Pikeymon fell in awe of his brother's appearance and the way he laughed off the other Conemon's crude remarks. From that point on, Pikeymon decided to become his brother's guardian and will keeper! When a Conemon decided to make fun of RedConemon, Pikeymon stepped in and tried to beat up the bully Conemon. RedConemon would then help the beaten Conemon, confusing Pikeymon every time.
With numerous fights under his belt, Pikeymon ended up digivolving into a Pikeymon, his namesake. RedConemon seemed impressed and started to call Pikeymon, well, Pikeymon. Pikeymon liked his new name. He felt it best portrayed his strength to defend his brother. Pikeymon's newfound strength helped RedConemon secure his title as King of the Nursery over all the other Conemon.
Having ascended to a position of 'royalty', for lack of a better word, RedConemon also digivolved. However, he didn't become a regular Pikeymon. Instead, probably due to his appearance and personality, RedConemon digivolved into a RoyalPikeymon! Pikeymon gained much higher respect for his brother having digivolved through non-violent means, more or less. Pikeymon knew how to fight but his brother seemed to know far more, permanently capturing Pikeymon's love and attention!
With both brothers having digivolved and conquered the nursery, they both left the nursery in search of a larger area to rule, everything! With RoyalPikeymon as his brother and King, Pikeymon strives to get stronger in order to protect his brother and their shared dream!
| Name: RoyalPikeymon Default Form: In-Training Gender: Male Alignment: Lawful Good Skills/Talents: RoyalPikeymon is exceptionally great at speaking his mind, no matter the situation. He doesn't think in his head, rather almost literally speaking his mind every step of the way. Only a talented talker can pull off a 'skill' such as this and get away with it.
RoyalPikeymon also has the legitimate skill of ordering his brother around. Ordering Pikeymon around, RoyalPikeymon's brother, is near impossible unless given an express command to follow another's orders by none other than RoyalPikeymon. Brotherly love may drive this talent, but RoyalPikeymon likes to pretend his 'royalty' has something to do with it.
Inventory: None
Personality: Having a Plastic Crown and catchphrase, "I will be the King of everything ever!" says mostly everything about this little pest, brother to the subservient Pikeymon. RoyalPikeymon loves everything to do with royalty and therefore shapes his decisions around such themes. If a helpless digimon is in trouble, RoyalPikeymon will personally help out by sending in Pikeymon to actually help. He's the type of digimon that believes actions speak louder than words, with actions including bossing around, speaking his mind, whining, and looking royal.
However, RoyalPikeymon isn't a bad little digimon, just pesky. If his brother Pikeymon is having trouble in a fight, RoyalPikeymon will try to help out. Granted, RoyalPikeymon isn't much of a fighter and therefore can't defend himself without his brother around. RoyalPikeymon was hatched arrogant and selfish, yet kind at heart towards the 'common folk', too.
Royalty is what he strives for and his attitude shows his personality clearly, in a way. Red and gold are his two favorite colors not only because he is colored that way, but also because red and gold usually represent royalty in some fashion.
Personal History: The two brothers share the same history as they are always with each other. However, both have different perspectives, given their different personalities. RoyalPikeymon was hatched differently than all the other Conemon; red in color with a crown shaped birthmark. With the other Conemon being blue or gray, RedConemon was picked on since day one. However, one Conemon, RoyalPikeymon's brother, seemed to be in awe of RoyalPikeymon. RoyalPikeymon suspected it was his royal appearance rather than his clever comebacks and laughter towards the bullying Conemon. Either which way, RoyalPikeymon knew he gained an ally for the rest of eternity.
As the only RedConemon, the other Conemon made fun of and teased him. However, RoyalPikeymon didn't let the crude remarks get to him and laughed them off, believing himself to be above all the other Conemon due to his different appearance. In fact, he always reminded the regular Conemon that he was different which caused some fighting to ensue between bullying Conemon and Pikeymon. Pikeymon always stepped up to defend his brother and RoyalPikeymon always made sure to notice his brother's efforts. After a good beating, RoyalPikeymon helped the defeated enemy Conemon, ensuring their safety as long as they didn't bully anyone else anymore.
When RoyalPikeymon's brother digivolved into a proper Pikeymon, RoyalPikeymon made sure to let the bullying Conemon know in full force. RoyalPikeymon first antagonized the bullies, let Pikeymon finish the fights, gathered followers, and eventually ascended to become the self-declared King of the Nursery! Soon after attaining the 'throne', the RedConemon digivolved into a unique variation of Pikeymon, a RoyalPikeymon!
Unfortunately for his restless, Pikeymon brother, RoyalPikeymon finally understood his purpose in life and exactly what it would take for him to continue digivolving. Granted, his form as a RoyalPikeymon suited him quite nicely, but he knew it wouldn't be enough to conquer everything!
RoyalPikeymon and his brother left the nursery, both digivolved and ready to take on anything that RoyalPikeymon deemed of royal value! Things of royal value included everything, anything, and all things. RoyalPikeymon wouldn't stop until he knew everything was within his grasp, both literally and metaphorically. However, he wouldn't exhaust his brother's fighting power all at once. He knew every digimon, aside from himself, had a limit and would therefore take his time to conquer everything.

Pointy Bubbles: Spiked bubbles that either cause more damage or increased annoyance. Obviously the stronger the opponent, the less damage and the higher the annoyance.

Causal Sight: Pikeymon's continued adaptability to his brother's actions has allowed him a keener sense of causality. He is capable of perceiving cause and effect relations within view, though only up to 1 second worth of relations. Unfortunately, this sometimes overloads Pikeymon's vision, making use of this skill strenuous, if not simply difficult.

Passives: [2 Passives]
Data Pike: Pikemon's spear has the capability of passively attaining and memorizing attack data on a target so long as the spear is piercing a target. For every stab the spear makes, more attack data is attained and memorized, meaning one hit equals one attack data. However, the spear's passive capability only works on Rookie-level targets or lower.
Causal Sight: Pikemon's continued adaptability to his brother's orders has allowed him a much keener sense of causality. Appearance:Height: 5'0"
Armor Champion: LoyalKnightmon Attribute: Neutral Family/ies: Metal Empire Type: Mutant Knight
Attacks: [4 Attacks]
Windy Joust: Using either one of his lances, LoyalKnightmon stabs a target for Armor Champion-level damage. If the target is farther away, then a quick blast of wind will follow after the stab which does the same amount of damage as the initial stab. Affected by Digimental of Loyalty passive.
Windy Wall: LoyalKnightmon's lances spin at blistering speeds, creating a pressurized wall of wind which blocks Armor Champion-level damage or below. Affected by Digimental of Loyalty passive. Cooldown: 1 post
Windy Ally: LoyalKnightmon's lances spin at blistering speeds. LoyalKnightmon then releases the wind pressure as two, Armor Champion-level tornadoes. These tornadoes are able to be freely controlled by LoyalKnightmon after release. The tornadoes last 2 posts before dispersing. Affected by Digimental of Loyalty passive. Cooldown: 2 posts
Windy Break: LoyalKnightmon finds the weak point in an attack and stabs it, breaking the attack as long as it is Armor Champion-level or below. Affected by Digimental of Loyalty passive. Cooldown: 1 post
Passives: [2 Passives]
Digimental of Loyalty: If LoyalKnightmon is actively protecting someone or something during battle, LoyalKnightmon gains a slight boost in overall stats to match that of a regular Champion-level digimon (twin). However, if LoyalKnightmon is not actively protecting someone or something during battle, LoyalKnightmon's overall stats slightly suffer such that they are between Rookie-level (twin) and Armor Champion-level (twin).
Pike Sight: Pikeymon's previous passive abilities have somewhat merged to form Pike Sight. This passive enhances overall eyesight by adding an increased awareness of a target's actions coupled with a slightly boosted reaction timing.
Digivolves To: JoustPikemon

Appearance: 5'11 Armor Champion: Mafisiomon Attribute: Neutral Family/ies: Metal Empire Type: Puppet Attacks: [4 Attacks] Chain Smoker: Takes a massive puff from his cigar, savors the taste, and blows the smoke out into a thick smokescreen. The smokescreen covers a 15 meter area (5 meters for clones) and blinds everyone within and simply blocks vision otherwise. Those that inhale the smoke suffer from Armor-Champion lung damage per post inhaled. The smokescreen lasts for 2 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts
Patch Up: By touching a target, Mafisiomon is able to place a patch on all wounds, healing said wounds by 25%, and having the patch fall off after the healing. Cooldown: 3 posts
Digizoid Fibers: Temporarily restitches the fibers of his being in order to become unscathed by Armor-Champion level attacks or lower for 1 post. Cooldown: 2 posts
WHERE DID THAT GUN COME FROM!?: A revolver is revealed from one of Mafisiomon's sleeves which fires a single, Armor-Champion level, high speed bullet with pristine accuracy.
Combat Passives: [2 Passive] Digimental of Respect: If Mafisiomon or an ally is disrespected, a clone of Mafisiomon is created per disrespectful action/comment. The clones are able to perform the same attacks/passives as Mafisiomon (aside from this combat passive), just at Rookie-level (merc). However, after a clone performs an attack, it disappears. A clone also can't survive more than one attack of any kind. Maximum number of clones at any given time is 3.
Healthy Fibers: Being made completely out of cloth, physical attacks are diffused by 50%. However, being made of cloth also makes Mafisiomon 100% more susceptible to heat-based attacks.
Non-Combat Passives: Light as a Cloth: Being made of cloth, Mafisiomon is very light and therefore able to "walk" on air. However, strong winds are able to cause Mafisiomon to effortlessly lose control.
Thug Life: Knows all things "crime" such as laws, police, gangs, yakuza, terrorism, piracy, and the mafia.
Disrespectable: Easily feels disrespected and sometimes even makes up reasons why he feels disrespected. However, feeling disrespected isn't the same as being disrespected, but Mafisiomon doesn't know any better.

Your art looks very good. Did you do it yourself?
As for your app itself, you can reduce a lot of your cooldowns. Bubbles, Shining Bubbles, Pointy Bubbles, Royal Bubbles, Pointy Charge, Royal Shine, Pike Pointer, Aristocratic Love, Shield Block, Overwhelming Wealth, Jousting Jut, Duke's Domain, Laser Lance, Gold Burst, Energy Pikes, Piercing Pike, Prince's Domain, Pikemon's Power, Deadly Namesake, Magnitude Pike, Basic Barrage, Standard Stab, Kingdomain, Immortal Subject, and Long Live the Kingdom can all have their cooldowns reduced by one post, if desired. Keep in mind that cooldowns begin after the attack ends, or after the effect ends for status causing or multi-turn moves.
I have to admit, I'm also not fond of being able to block attacks from higher tiers, even on a relatively high cooldown.

Thank you, but I NOW made sure to credit all the artists as best I could. I linked at the bottom of each image that I didn't make myself. Made the Fresh-level images myself.
Changed all the cooldowns by 1 post. Thanks for the tip~
Also weakened all the defensive abilities that you weren't fond of and matched the cooldowns based on the rest of my cooldowns that involve defending, I think.

Okay, generally when it comes to using art for custom digimon you can either use:
1) Art you made yourself 2) Art you got permission for.
Also, you cannot faceclaim digimon using characters form some other media otherwise.

Post by Pikemons on Mar 12, 2016 22:18:46 GMT
Well, I'm not faceclaiming any of the art, even my own original art is free to use by someone else if they want to. Also, most, if not all, is concept art which is free for use by the public for non-profit purposes, as far as I know. Once monetary profit is an issue, permission is needed by the original artist. If this is about "disrespect" for an artist and their work, I assure you I mean only respect. After all, I wouldn't be using their beautiful art otherwise.
Though...if this isn't a copyright issue...then...why do we need express permission?

I was referring strictly to the art you didn't make. Your art is fine.
The permission thing is just me stating one of the rules and is more for certain art pieces.
The issue is faceclaiming art for digimon using the pictures you didn't draw, which isn't allowed. And you are, indeed, faceclaiming for most of your custom digimon.
Not saying you meant any disrespect. But when it comes to art of a custom digimon, it's either art you drew, or art you have permission for, or art that was drawn for you.

Ok, I made all the images myself~
Also, I added 2 passive skills to all forms that I need to be approved and completely got rid of any form above Rookie because...reasons.
Anyway, edit bump~

Alright, the only thing I see for now is that Data Pike, while listed as a passive ability, reads as an attack.

Ok, so I think I worded it properly now. Also made it a little more usable as a passive rather than just a one-time hit per target.
