Reconciliation..? [Sanoske]

Sanoske turned to Pure, saying, ^Yes, that was when I spent most of the day just laying down. Just even thinking about making illusions made me tired then, haha...^ Hopefully Pure would remember that day, although Sanoske only said that to give Pure a better idea of when the event happened.
ShadeSanoske also faded away, leaving the 3 (2 and a half?) digimon alone.
^Anyway, do not overwork your cute little head. If you train too much the less you would be able to do it without proper rest.
It is rare enough to see anyone create illusions. It is especially rare to see anyone create a solid copy out of thin air. ^
He scratched his head and gave a warm smile, although he didn't want to admit that this is advice he gleaned from memories of his creator.
^So... Crystal... are you feeling better?^

"What are you talking about Sanoske? I just told you that I was mentally exhausted. You don't think I have some amazing ability to fully recover in just a few seconds, do you?" Crystal said with a teasing smile on her face.
Sadly, despite her cheerful manner, she knew full well what Sanoske was asking her about. A subject she would rather escape from then dwell on any further. She didn't like how depressed it made her feel these past few days. It's the main reason she came up with this whole thing in the first place. To help liven everyone up after everything that just happened.
Unfortunately Pure didn't seem to have the same idea. "You know it wasn't your fault that I'm..."
"Would you stop that?"
"Stop what?"
"Stop telling me that it wasn't my fault. Believe it or not, it doesn't help. It only makes me feel more guilty about the whole thing. So just... Drop it? Okay?" Crystal asked unable to look Pure in the face.
Pure just stood there unsure what he should do. Was it really alright for him to drop the subject? He hated to see his sister in pain. Yet was pressing matters any further going to help or hurt her more?

Crystal was dodging Sanoske's question... that wasn't good. Despite her demeanor at that moment she was burying her true feelings. But Pure pressed the issue.
Sanoske wasn't sure what to do. On one hand he didn't want to make Crystal more depressed. On the other, he felt he had to do something about this. It didn't seem healthy that Crystal would be unable to face her brother at times like this... not to mention that Mel would surely pop out every now and then.
Sanoske got down and nuzzled Crystal, uttering a soothing growl.
^You can not keep doing this, Crystal...^

"What do you mean?" She replied as she nuzzled him back.
Yet despite her denial, Sanoske's words did have an effect on her. So she backed off from Sanoske a bit as she mentally prepared herself for what she was about to say.
"Look Sanoske... Pure... I just... I don't want to talk about it okay. It... It hurts." She then turned her head towards Pure specifically, "And the fact that your just trying to sweep it under the rug by telling me that it wasn't my fault doesn't help. For, in the end, it is my fault." Her head began to slump low as she said that last part, but she forced herself to look up straight at Pure. "It is my fault that your stuck with that parasitic body snatcher Pure. And don't say that it isn't. It wasn't my intention to do so, but that... That isn't reason enough for you to act as if I didn't do it." Crystal's eyes began to water as she finished saying what she needed to say.
Pure was awestruck by Crystal's display. "Crys... Your... Your right. Yet that still doesn't mean you should just blame yourself. I don't like seeing you hurt like this"
The two twins became oddly silent once they had said there piece. Both contemplating on what was said.

^What is done... is done. I am sorry to press the issue but... your relationship with your brother is very important to me. I do not want to see you sad either, nor do I want to see stuff like this go on between you.
Can we not just think about who is to blame and try to get back to some semblance of normalcy? Can my girl and my friend just... move on without worry, foolish that may sound?^
Sanoske turned to Pure, scratching his head.
^We are friends, right? Or acquaintances? I mean, I would not mind to try to shoot for in-law in the future but I want to know we are at least fine with each other.^
And then Sanoske realized how his little joke could backfire.
^I said nothing! Ignore that!^ he barked, embarrassingly.

A small evil smile was plastered on Crystal's face as she heard Sanoske make his little joke. There was no way she could just let an opportunity like this pass her by.
"So your already planning for Pure to be your in-law. Don't you think that's rushing things just a little bit." Crystal started as she moved ever closer to the large Gazimon, motioning for him to lower his head to her level, "After all you haven't even taken me out on my first date yet, and your already planning on proposing. Your a lot more impatient then I thought you were." She would then plant a small kiss on Sanoske's cheek if he had indeed lowered his head as she asked before whispering to him, "Then again. So am I."
She only allowed a second for what she said to sink in before suddenly backing away from Sanoske proclaiming, "Just kidding" with a small playful smile on her face. It was obvious to Pure that she was taking delight from teasing her boyfriend (and him). At least this was a sign she was already in a better mood.

Sanoske gave a nervous chuckle as he lowered his head when beckoned. Figures Crystal would latch on to this. Although he felt bad when she brought up that they still never went out on a date, something he wanted to rectify but haven't had the chance to.
And then he gave a nervous, low whimper when she implied that she was ready to tie the knot, so to speak. Sanoske wasn't ready yet! Not that he has issues with committing to her (frankly who else would he commit to if not the one who he spent the most time with that he can actually recall), but he had Crystal to think about.
But Crystal was only kidding, prompting another chuckle... one of relief.
^You are incorrigible, Crystal.^ he growled, although he obviously didn't mean that in a bad way. At least Crys was feeling better. He only hoped that she could, even if slowly, just try to move on from that issue she had with what she did to Pure.

"Well what do you expect when you give me a face like that?" Crystal replied in a singsong voice. A friendly smile plastered on her face as she looked at Sanoske. "You might even be more fun to pick on then Pure."
Pure had to admit. It's been a good long while since he had seen his sister like this. Could this possibly mean that the dark, depressing cloud that had loom over them these past few months have finally begin to give way? The Terriermon sure hoped so.
If only things could be that simple. He could hear Mel chime in. Ruining what was otherwise an uplifting moment.
"I hate to break up all the fun and games you two are having, but I'm afraid it's going to get dark any moment now. We should really be heading back now. Else we'll start worrying the others." Pure advised. Not wanting to think what the others would do if they didn't get back in a timely manner.

^More fun? Oh dear.^ Well, all things considered, this was an occupational hazard for the large Gazimon. But better to have the Lopmon Sanoske fell for than an utter emotional wreck.
When it was time to go, Sanoske kept himself low, creating stairs for the siblings to ride on him. He wanted to tell Pure that he hoped Cuttah was less annoyed, but it would be best to keep from mentioning Mel.
^Hop on, please. I would like to take you there myself. ^
Once they did get back they would see that Cuttah was calmed down. Or, at the very least, Cuttah would not pull out her gun on Mel. Until he annoyed her again.

Both twins climbed onto the giant Gazimon as they head. The trip was ultimately uneventful. Crystal and Pure chatting amongst themselves along with Sanoske if he chose to add his two cents in. It felt like it's been forever since they were able to act like this. To bad they both knew in the back of their minds that this wasn't going to last.
When they all had came back, Pure carefully hid behind Sanoske, trying to stay out of Cuttah's sight. Even if she looked to be in a better mood didn't mean he wanted to end up taking any unnecessarily risks. Crystal just decided to walk up to the others with a familiar small smile on her face.
"Hey guys. Sorry we're running behind. We ended up running into each other on our way and let's just say shenanigans ensued." Crystal explained, purposefully leaving out the fact that she was the cause of said shenanigans, "So has anyone started fixing dinner yet? I'm starving."

Cuttah was some distance away from the others, although not too far away. She merely glanced at the others, sitting down against the warehouse. Aside from her, Rippah and Lezard were there as well.
"Well, there's still plenty of food left over *beeelch*. Figured I'd start dinner while you were gone."
"It's stew again. But Rippah never fails to make a good stew anyway.
Also we've decided to take apart the machine and put the pieces in different areas. Wouldn't want anyone who is, well... smart enough to figure it out and use it for less than admirable reasons. And I certainly would not want to destroy it."
^Oh, I see. Interesting. And... [Garrooo]...how is Cuttah?^
"I'm doing fine."
Sanoske asked his question in a lower volume as he feared ticking her off, but it seemed she heard him. But she spoke in a flat tone... so she seemed to not be in a volatile mood in Sanoske's eyes.
^That is good. So, did you eat yet?^
"Not fine enough to hold conversations."
^Shutting up now...^

Crystal looked at Cuttah curiously. It always worried her that the foul-smelling gabumon was always in a dark mood. Perhaps since she was in a better mood herself, she should try to do something about it. It seemed only fair seeing what Cuttah is doing for them.
With that thought in mind, Crystal walked over to Cuttah. Making sure to take short, shallow breathes along the way. The question now was what she was going to say. It had to be just right if she was to remove the cold barrier the Gabumon seemed to put around herself.
"Hey did you do something with your fur? It looks very pretty today." Crystal complimented with a friendly smile on her face.

Cuttah looked at Crystal as she asked that question, not answering at first. She then reached into her pouch, which admittedly scared Sanoske a bit. Of course, he knew Cuttah wouldn't shoot Crystal, but the mere thought that Cuttah, this foul tempered, flatulent digimon would be so bold as to pull out...
...a hairbrush?
"Lezard gave me a new brush to replace my old one. I did not think anyone would notice.
I've thought about getting ponytails too."
Sanoske looked at Rippah, surprised that Cuttah so readily talked to Crystal about fur and hair where not even moments ago she said she wasn't up for a conversation.
"It's probably a girl thing."

That was scary. Despite Crystal acting unfazed as Cuttah dug around her bag, Pure was sure that Cuttah would pull her shotgun on his sister. Especially considering how foul the Gabumon's mood seemed to be. Yet instead she pulled out a hairbrush before expressing her happiness that Crystal noticed her fur.
Pure had to admit he was quite impressed with what his sister managed to do. With only one question, she had managed to somehow bridge the gap between Cuttah and herself. Something he felt he himself could never accomplish. Then again that always seemed to be Crys talent. She could probably find a way to connect and make friends with just about anyone she meets.
Oh... Is someone feeling envious about their outgoing sister? Mel's voice rang in his head.
Shut up.
"Ponytails? That would look so cute on you." Crystal stated, happy to see that Cuttah was opening up to her, "To bad my furs to short for me to do anything like that. The best I can do is brush my fur and try to do something with my ears. Though whenever I do it tends to make my ears ache for the rest of the day."

(((Cuttah has a pouch that is a part of her, just like Rippah.
Also, Cuttah doesn't use Shotguns. She uses Magnums. Rippah has the Shotguns.)))
Cuttah placed the brush back into her pouch. She still sounded... neutral. But neutral was pretty good all things considered. She didn't look annoyed... merely content.
"Then I will do ponytails then. I don't know how you'd style ears, though."
Rippah chuckled a bit and, following a belch, he spoke with the others. "Well, the only other digimon I know Cuttah could talk to was a good friend of mine. Hey, Cuttah!"
"Yes?"
"For future reference do you find girls easier to talk to?"
"No, just digimon I dislike the least. Why is everyone asking me questions today?"
"Everyone? Lezard, did *burrrp* you ask her something?"
"It's nothing too important. Anyways let's leave the girls alone to have their girl talk. I'm sure Cuttah doesn't want a bunch of guys watching her, right?"
