Shi sat down his head yet again placed on the table where he was sitting, his eyes were closed with a clutter of work around his head, it was homework. Shi was actually asleep at this point with both of his partners looking at him, the Holo-suited Digimon poked the teen lightly which got them a smack as Shi pulled his head down more curling the top of his hat. "Well he's out cold." Yuudai said with a sigh taking Shi's coffee and drinking some of it, then spitting it back out instantly. "Sweet lord how can Shi drink this stuff it's so bitter!" Yuudai said putting it back on the table, his brother just laughed at him. "That's because it's coffee, I do agree though it's weird." Yasuo went back to looking at Shi, he thought for a moment before reaching over and attempting to take off Shi's hat, this got Shi awake as the teen instantly put his hand up on top of Yasuo's before looking up. "No." Shi said letting go of Yasuo, the agumon pulled his hand back in surprise.
Shi gave a loud sigh as he piled the papers up in a neat stack before putting them back in his bag, that was enough homework/sleeping for one day, you'd think after getting lost in a forest and getting almost killed several times the school would give him a break, well if he actually used that excuse they might of let him go. "Is that food you ordered here yet?" Shi asked with a yawn after and a stretch outward. The twins shook their heads making Shi sigh after his yawn. Shi sat back in his chair drinking his coffee wondering if someone else would randomly appear who knew about the Digital world, that happened quite a bit if he were honest.

It was bittersweet returning to the real.
Not only did nothing seem out of place, everything just seemed… dull. The digital world which in itself was a bright beacon of hope and peace seemed to drive the real world into a blissful ignorant state that refused to acknowledge the truth that it was broken. The sky looked dead to what he was used to; the bright cheery world that held secrets of both pixel and physical… couldn't even have the real hold a candle to it. The thin man sighed an flipped up his collar, the gentle breeze that tugged against him only bothered to remind him that this was his home rather than where he had been before.
So why coffee?
Because the last time we had a decent batch was when we went out. Which is what we're doing now kan.
Okay bones. Are you covering it then?
Does it look like I have a wallet?
Right forget I asked.
The two continued on in silence, only breaking it when they were greeted by someone leaving the coffee shop. The first to enter was Bones, it was only a moment before she gave a slight nod of the head that kan followed. Even though he had the protection of a spirit on his side, bones never took any chances with him. She didn't want him ripping into his spirit transformation if something went awry. Kan looked about the coffee shop; his gaze grabbed immediately by others that wore strange garb. Was red the new black now days? The outfits themselves wouldn't draw the attention of most no. But for those that were used to digital bits?
Well most tamers or digimon wouldn't think that the clothing was odd...
Out of the three only one wasn't wearing a red coat; if anything that was the leader of the three. They seemed sleepy; which would only explain as to why the three were here in the first place. Kan rolled his shoulders a bit and gestured at the booth behind the trio; the two walked past the three. It was easy to tell that kan was trying not too look at the three while bones would curiously stare at them while they passed. Kan sat with his back to the three while bones begrudingly sat across from them; she flipped up her menu and stared at it as though trying to summon understanding of what she would get. Kan on the other hand… spoke quickly and quietly.
Last time it was black, now it's red. What's it with kids and cloaks?
I don't know, you're asking the wrong gal.
It just seems as though they're doing it just to stand out; make it easier for others to find them. But why not just a badge or something?
There was a group that tried that and you remember what happened to them?
Yeah got themselves blasted… though I don't think these ones are part of them. No emblem unless it's red clothing.
Kan leaned forward a bit his elbows resting on the table; though his eyes were staring forward at his companion his question was not directed at her.
Are you begging for attention or are you just trying to find others? Because if it's the latter you're going about it in a really bad way.

Shi sat down eyes looking around with no real purpose to their movements till someone walked into the coffee shop, at first it was a women who looked around the area before motioning for another to walk in who did the same, his eyes seemed to instantly grab focus of Shi's little group over here, though he didn't seem to stare for long before pointing his companion over to the booth behind Shi. Shi did his best to look like he wasn't fully paying attention giving a rather convincing look but even with that he noticed both seemed to be going different ways, the guy seemed to be trying not to look at them despite being the first ones in the shop he looked at while the women threw subtly out the window and stared at them the entire time.
Shi gave another strech turning his neck like he was trying to pop it, when in reality he was looking behind himself, they seemed to be talking, at least the one he could see. Shi didn't hold that position long enough to draw attention before looking back ahead of himself, Shi put his arms on the table wondering what was going on. Yasuo noticed this and spoke quietly. "Hey Shi do you think that." Shi quickly shook his head before Yasuo could finish. "I don't think anything yet, lets just see how this plays out for now." Shi said equally as quite, Yuudai didn't know what was going on but figured it had something to do with something important, good job Yuudai.
"For all we know they could just be wondering why you two are wearing those coats." Yasuo gave a small sigh at this. "You shouldn't of said. 'Whatever design you think is best' to the shopkeeper." Shi nodded but what was done is done and Shi couldn't figure out how to change it, best to just wait since he had no information about anything yet.

There was no response to his question, he couldn't even be sure that they had heard him. There was very little he could do that wouldn't draw attention; he couldn't address the problem plainly either. Instead the spirit user chuckles lightly to himself and drew out the only mobile device that he carried on his person. A moment later he slid it across the table to bones whom seemed rather confused for a moment; kan cracked his neck and shrugged gently.
You should text your friend and see if they responds. I know how they are about specifics and whatnot.
An awkward moment passed and bones took ages to draw the device up closer to her face; pretending to press buttons in an awkward order. She wasn't really used to devices plain and simple; that much was kan's department. Out of holosuit her hands were just simply too big for minute movements; it was pretty amusing actually. The diguised digimon slid the device back; slowly a curious expression crawling across her face. Kan wasn't normally so deliberate in some situations; though apparently he had to be with the missed question.
Anything?
No, I think they're busy.
A pity really.
The digimon seemed confused and kan had to play it carefully. He didn't want to overstep at all; when dealing with variables that were unknown like this…. You had to take precautions. Move too far and you might risk something that need not, move too little and others may not notice. He sighed gently and turned his head ever so slightly; the waitress had still not come by but that's because it seemed she was busy with other customers at the moment. It was an easy gap to close now that it presented itself; he turned further; his arm draping across the booth a little bit so that he could address those behind him.
Have they been like this all morning? I don't want to be late for the train to the core
Anyone digital would get the hint that he just dropped, others would think he was just heading downtown. It was thankfully a really easy and discrete way to treat this situation; other than flashing around what others would think is a fancy cell phone. Often more than not, the newer batches would never know what he was talking about and would miss clues completely. he could be off completely and just dropping hints on a batch of highschoolers too; which wouldn't be the first time this has happened...

Shi didn't hear anything the first time, be it his mind in other places or himself talking to Yasuo but this time he heard at least part of the conversation. Shi kept looking forward as he heard the man speak to his companion and at the end Shi heard something that instantly clicked with him removing all doubt that he should just ignore and see where this went. Shi closed his eyes and let out a small chuckle at that, it was clever most wouldn't of caught that, hell no one would of understood that reasoning except a few, the few that was sitting right behind the man and women.
"Maybe it would be wise to leave soon you two, after all got to get to the river."
Shi said this easily just to be sure this guy knew, Shi knew there were two portals and before he'd go off and start talking he had to be sure that question was directed as a hint, if he was someone smart enough to drop hints about the digital world he should be smart enough to catch Shi's. After all it sounded like Shi was being tricked going to the Shibuya river and seeing nothing but garbage, in all actuallty no one else would know something was hidden there. Yasuo picked up on both comments and just gave a small nod, with things like this you had to be careful, they wouldn't want another incident like the one with Kai.
"What are you guys talking ab-"
Yuudai asked his question a bit louder then he should of before Yasuo put his hand over the digimon's mouth to shut him up, they weren't screwing this over just because Yuudai couldn't look past the words.

There was a tense moment for kan as he wasn't sure that the other had picked up the hint. That was lain to rest however when they dropped their own hint as well as a meeting place, the river one of the only places that you could even get into the digital realm. At least from what he could remember; the former had been trains but after a rather hefty attack from a long gone villain it left most of the digital knowing figuring out their own ways. Kan gave a small shrug followed immediately by a nod; he'd have to have some coffee before leaving though. Couldn't just ignore the fact that walking in and then out was a poor business practice to others.
Fair enough. It's easy to cut through there.. maybe I should just get coffee to go...
That's an option?
I think we have to pay beforehand though.
Well lets just do it then?
Yeah yeah...
Rather than wait, the two slid out of the booth; apologizing to the waitress as she almost just started her introduction as they were leaving the table. Giving an apology the duo went to the register and instead got coffee to go. It was a quick and clean transaction; which just left kan giving a small wave and smile to those that had “answered” his question. To anyone on the outside; it would look as though he was thanking them for whatever reason. The moment they were out of range of the coffee shop the two paused.
Which way was the river again?
Are you serious? We've been there so many times...
I was kidding, trying to lighten your sour puss mood.
The banter would continue on till the couple got to the river; where they would of course sip on coffee and make light of the situation. It was really easy for the two of them to hide in plain sight sometimes; others they stood out like sore thumbs. The breeze was still ample enough where it prompted kan to burrow his face into his collar a little bit. He wasn't exactly a fan of the bitter wind...

Shi caught the rest and considering they just decided to leave when just arriving it seems he was right this time, neat that never happened. Shi looked at man giving a small wave at him while smiling, considering Shi hadn't done anything to be thanked for this was the clear sign that it worked. "Come on you two." Shi said grabbing his backpack and slinging it over his shoulder. "Shi, are you sure we should trust people we just met?" To this Shi just tipped his cap slightly and smiled. "No reason not to, besides worse comes to worse a visit from War will set things straight." While Shi was never the most trusting this guy was older then him, who knows maybe he could teach Shi a thing or two. Though it'd be weird being on the opposite side of the stick like that.
"But I didn't get my food." Yuudai complained as Shi grabbed Yuudai by the hood and proceeded to drag him away, Shi knew better then anyone that Yuudai had eaten before so again making the waitress looking stupid Shi and the rest made their way out of the store, admittedly a good bit later. "I can't remember the way, all well lets go home and get some food." Yuudai said as he was dragged by Shi away from the area, it simply to others looked like a someone dragging his friend away while the brother laughed, easily not noticeable.

Patience was key in dealing with youth, Kan had learned that many a time considering that most of what you could consider his “peers” in the digital sense were much younger than him. He had already ran through the coffee, the taste itself was good yes but it left a lot to be desired. Bones had downed hers even quicker than the human, though he was unsure if it really did anything for her considering. His eyes roamed back and forth; trying to keep ready for when the other arrived.
Think we should of asked for a name? What if they don't come?
Why send us here then?
To try us I suppose.
Perhaps. Perhaps not. We've just got to wait.
Fine; but next time we go out like this I'm wearing something nicer.
The statement caught Kan off guard and he only noticed that she was acting a little more relaxed if only to put on a front until the actual business got here. Though relaxed was probably too far of an estimate; he could tell her eyes were flicking to and fro in order to see if anything was amiss. Oh bones; what was he going to do with her? The human couldn't flick off that switch that made her such a nit picker when it came to things like this. She never could truly relax but he had to chalk that bit up to her programming.
Which one do you think is the leader?
It's probably the one with the hat.
Why's that?
Well, he's the only one that doesn't match.
Eh. It could be any of the three; don't be surprised if you're wrong.
Don't be surprised if I'm right you knuckle head.
A small laugh and the human leaned forward his elbows resting on his knees. He had to portray relaxed now that bones set the par; it was obvious that they were supposed to be enjoying their time outside. Like most he would have to put on a face…
For now.

Shi had to explain what was going on to Yuudai, who still didn't get what was going on even when they were walking towards the area. "Shi why are we going anyway?" Shi closed his eyes putting his hands in his pockets before explaining. "Mostly because we should talk to anyone with knowledge of the digital world as we could, it's also because other then that lady months ago this is the first person I've met who isn't a teen or younger." Shi admitted even that fact had gotten him curious, still he was always the cautious type his hand rested firmly on his Digivice just in case something did happy, hopefully nothing did but it never hurt to be over cautious.
Shi didn't get there in time to hear their conversation and only saw the man and women looking relaxed. Shi walked over not knowing if they noticed the trio arriving, though what made Shi curious is if they did know about the digital world was one of them a digimon? or were they both spirit tamers or even that Xros thing Shi heard about a while ago, but questions were to be aside for right now, no one enjoyed being bombarded with questions right off the bat. "Hello again." Shi gave a small wave as he did, the others followed quickly after.

The conversation that the two made in the wait time was pretty trivial, meant ot make it seem as though they belonged more than anything. The very few passerby's that they had didn't even spare the couple a second glance. Kan was amusing himself by playing with his digivice a bit; he wasn't really paying attention for when the trio arrived; he really didn't have to considering. A nudge alerted him and the device was stored away into his pockets again. His head curved upwards and he ran a hand through his hair as he exhaled softly.
Hello.
a long pause followed kan's greeting; he wasn't really sure what he should open up with all considering. Bones shifted uncomfortably next to him; she didn't deal with humans very often other than kan, there wasn't really a need for it considering. The spirit user rolled his shoulders and stood; gesturing at bones as he started to introduce himself.
My name is Kan and this is my partner of sorts Bones. If you don't mind me asking who are you three?
Kan was curious; he wasn't sure what had changed in his absence. He just knew that a few of the big wigs had changed and that there was some other crews operating that he'd have to learn about. He of course had to take things slow; he didn't want to bog down the other with too much considering so he left the next part a little more simple.
Did you just get your wings so to speak?

"My name is Shi, this is Yasuo and Yuudai." Shi quickly told Kan after his introduction was over, though the phrasing of that struck Shi as odd, partner of sorts? Were these both spirits like Elliot and Isaac? Or was this a Holo-suited Digimon, Shi threw away the questions in his head deciding he wouldn't get instantly suspicious of someone, might as well ignore and not bring it up.
"No not really, I've been at this for nearly a year now, what about you?" Shi answered and threw the question back, nearly a year didn't equal new, did it? Yasuo and Yuudai stood behind Shi looking at the two of them, but Bones? Really? Is, was that a actual human name? Yuudai crossed his arms lost in thought about how weird humans were and Yasuo just shrugged, after learning your tamer was literally named Death you sorta just roll with it.
