"Alright, listen up! I want no mistakes out here! Pick up, clear out, and let's get a move-on out of here!"
The strong words of a Musyamon echoed throughout a valley, deeply entrenched in the Terrabyte Mountains. Here, just a short trip down by Trailmon from the remnants of Snowpoint, was a well-populated mining village. All around, metal tracks led deep into various caverns in the surrounding mountains, leading to a large warehouse on the north side of the encampment. What was once a simple outpost had turned into something of a second home, several Digimon who had resided at Snowpoint re-establishing themselves in this area. Simple homes, a cafe, even an informal inn graced this rather homey, dusty town.
A town, that had fallen into orderly chaos. One might mistakenly assume that the Musyamon had taken this place over by force, but a simple look around showed a different story. Mainly, to the Digimon right at the warrior's side, calling out as well: "We have time, but get moving! Four Trailmon are coming, more than enough to clear you all out. If you're large or weak, please come along this way! We'll get you right to Terminus!"
An evacuation, then? At face-value, it was difficult to tell what was going on: a Musyamon there kept order, and led other Digimon where to go. The towns' residents, of various Gotsumon, Frigimon, and other like Digimon, had large bags slung over their shoulder, trudging down the path, while an Ikkakumon lumbered over in the Gatomon's direction. She pointed over her shoulder, towards a single Digimon and Tamer pair, that of a yellow rabbit and a young adult girl.
"Alright, one coming up..." Holding her Digivice out, a portal, right towards Terminus, etched its way in the middle of the open space. With a bare nod, the mammalian ice Digimon lumbered through, the portal closing just behind. "Koneka! Five minutes to the next!"
"Noted!" The cat would call back. Otherwise, the area seemed to be relatively under control. A little further out, a Gotsumon knelt down, eyes closed, palm against the floor; further, a BlueMeramon's gaze flicked up, seemingly staring off in deep focus off at something. Towards the mountains?
"Hey, pick it up! No lollygaggin'!"
Whatever this was... well, it was certainly happening!

"How sure… exactly?" He reiterated his question between labored puffs of his visible breath. He didn't like the cold, but sadly he hated it less than his partner, who was bundled up nice and cozy against his back, getting a free piggyback across the tundra. "I dunno pretty I guess", he replied, shouting so his tamer could hear his muffled voice through the layers of fabric and fluff of his coat. Though, he didn't really need to hear him to understand, they'd been at that level for a while, speaking to each other without actually hearing their words. It was weird but they were practically doing it before anyway, just only with pictures. Joey thought it was because he was getting smarter. "Okay because, before you said the same thing, and I ended up spending like six thousand bits on scooba gear for a fight with a giant crab and some pretty coral. So this better be legit!""It's some really nice coral, I mean you gotta admi-""BLITZ!"Okay okay I thiiiiinnnk It's legit… probably…", his voice trailed off at the end which only left his thoughts open to his partner. Joey stopped dead in his tracks. "You have no idea… none at all… what exactly are you smelling for?!" the human groaned as his feet sank into the snow. "Something… strong?"He sighed after a second then began to walk forward again. "Alright let's at least see what it is, maybe it will be cooler than a crab thing this time", he added in a chuckle to ease his partner's woes. He knew he was trying, heck, Joey didn't even really know what to look for himself. "Oh crap wait what?"As he'd just now started paying attention to where he was walking, he'd suddenly notice he'd stepped into… something. It wasn't to tell but, it looked busy. He wasn't in the thick of it yet, just a few people nearby but up ahead more people were yelling among the commotion it seemed. "What's going on? I wana see""Uh, no. Not in that form, you'll freeze into a pop3sicle in like, 10 seconds. Heh… computer joke." The pun went way over his partner's head but it seemed to work in keeping him safe in his jacket for now as he stepped onward, avoiding people carrying things this way and that. All the digimon here seemed much better equipped for the weather than he was. Not knowing a thing about what was going on, he did what he'd always do in a situation like this. Seek out the guy who looked like he thought he was the most important and ask. The problem was he couldn't see anyone like that, it was more like a synchronized fustercluck, everyone working nicely together to cause this rushed mess. "Excuse me!", he began to call out once or twice, only to be ignored and put on a slightly grumpy face as a result. Though, turning to try to get people's attention he did notice something a bit out of place a little ways off. Was that? "A portal?""Yea I think so", he replied to his digimon completing his thought for him. The boy would tug his jacket a bit tighter and walk on toward where he'd seen it light up a moment ago. That kind of thing wasn't the most common occurrence in the digital world and usually meant some kind of stronger tamer was around. It seemed like a good place to start. "Hello, hey can I ask you what's going on here?", he waved on as he approached where he'd seen the gateway open a moment before. ============================================= Blitz In-Training

Perhaps spending the night at the peaceful snow village wasn't the best of ideas. What had started as a nice, restful day had turned into a lot of hectic bustle and yelling all of a sudden. Naturally, Elliot's light sleep was shattered far too early by the noise, and the boy flopped out of bed to try and figure out what was going on. He wanted so badly to try and get back to sleep, but that was never an option. Not with that much noise, and not when his attempts at trying to sleep again always ended in him tossing and turning the night away. Was it worth waking Isaac up for? He wasn't sure yet. The calls were all somewhat distant, just background noise he couldn't particularly discern. Besides, Isaac had been so tired lately. Maybe just once, he needed his rest.
Pulling on his jacket and grabbing his walking stick, Elliot made his way to the village outside. As the sun hit his eyes he reflexively squinted, trying to shield himself from light reflecting at all angles. Why did it always have to be snow? Why did they have to keep coming here? After all of the cave-ins and Digimon attacks, Elliot figured they should have been done with the snow by now. Instead here they were, back at the Northern Prominence for the umpteenth time. At this point, if Elliot never saw another snowflake in his life, he'd chalk it up to being a good thing.
There was so much to take in, though. There were Digimon running everywhere, and Musyamon trying to keep order, and portals opening and closing all of the time. It was all so much for the sleepy boy to try and process, but he did his best at trying to understand it all. What better way to understand than to ask someone of importance? There was a human who seemed to be holding order and kicking up the portals, although Elliot had no idea how. Was it just a very humanlike Digimon? There were a really weird number of those, all things considered. He made his way over to her, voice still small from his sleepiness. "Is everything okay?"

Of course, this level of commotion couldn't go unnoticed for long. It was the point, actually: what good was an evacuation if it didn't rile up every person in the village in this morning hour? What was frustrating, however, were those that came back into the village, as if it were a casual thing to do. But it looked like it couldn't be avoided, as another human made his way towards the place. To some, Joey would look like he was cutting the line, earning several dark glances and growls, the tamer's yellow rabbit standing in front.
"Now, what do you think you're... huh? You don't know?" The bunny's defensive stance turned into a confused head-tilt, as Ami gave a sigh. In all this chaos, it was hard to just pull away. She was about to answer, until a second person stepped over, asking her a similar thing!
"Wow, do I really look that important? Um, right." Surely a few words to settle this wouldn't go amiss! "Alright, see there? That line of shiny black rock at the bottom of the valley?" She pointed there, and indeed, there was a practical line, almost like asphalt or tar, lining the rock just outside the village. "It's cooled lava, from a long time ago. So... a volcano's around here, right? And we have report from the Gotsumon around here-"
"-That the volcano only has an hour or two before it blows." A now frustrated-looking Gatomon stepped up, shaking her head. "Musyamon's hired her on to keep opening portals, and I'm here to help keep order. So with all due respect, either help us, or get ready to leave." The cat looked over her shoulder, gritting her fangs. "Hey, no need to argue!" She darted right back into the crowd, to settle something between a Goblimon and a Frigimon, the former pulling on the backpack of the latter.
"Well, you heard em... anyway, that Gotsumon and Meramon over there are going to let us know once it's about to blow." She nodded to the two Digimon standing, a bit away from the village, before returning her attention to Joey, Blitz, and Elliot. "So, sorry we couldn't meet at a better time. We'd like it if you could all lend a hand, though!"

Joey looked at this girl for a moment and then looked around. "I mean, you're the only human around here which means you're pretty important to whatever's going on... that seems to be how the digital world works at least." The last bit was a little more mumbled. "A volcano? Up here? Man that's kind of convenient… I mean not because It's going to blow or anything but, could probably use the geothermal for heating… if that works in the digital world, does it?""I dunno, I like the sound of warmth right now though", his digimon replied, still bundled up against his upper back and shoulders. "Also who are you talking to, she smells familiar.""What? I don't think we've met her are you sure?", he said allowed, probably looking like he was talking to himself now, seeming a bit casual to the whole situation going on as well. "Almost sure, the rabbit too""Wait how do you know it's a rabbit""Well, you know it's a rabbit""What? Uh.. Okay yea, whatever", he turned his head from the side back to look to the human girl. "Yea sure, we can help uhhhh, you." He had been about to say her name but he realized he never got it. "I'm Joey by the way, My partner's Blitz but he's not the best in the cold. I guess it's a good thing we showed up though, bit of a mess here…", he gave another look around at the commotion. "So, how can we help? Or should I ask the oh so even tempered kittycat over there?", he'd give a quick point over to the Gatomon from before, using some rather direct measures to break up that little spat. So he'd just smelled a volcano? It was a bit off from what they were looking for, but still, with all the worry and commotion here maybe it wasn't too far of a stretch. ============================================= Blitz: In-Training

It was interesting to Elliot to see that, whether human world or Digital World, lava always ended up working the same way. Sometimes it was through really cool revelations, like digi-lava hardening into digi-obsidian. Sometimes it was through terrifying ones, like the fact that said digi-lava was about to seriously digi-kill some people. Even if Digimon could regenerate, it still seemed like a major disaster just waiting to happen. Would there even be enough of their code left after total incineration? Ugh, why was he even thinking about this! This was horrible! Immediately Elliot began shaking away each of these intrusive thoughts, trying to reset himself towards a point of relative normalcy.
For Elliot, normalcy meant "get Isaac to help."
"Hold on. I'll get somebody else," Elliot said, running off to the direction of the hotel room. Predictably enough, Isaac was still out like a light. It was always weird seeing how long Isaac could stay knocked out for if he had no obligations at the moment. There was a day when Elliot caught him waking up at 2 PM! Who does that, seriously?
Today was not one of those days where such sleep could be afforded. After a round of vigorous shaking, Isaac slowly cracked a single eye open. "Is it time to go already?" the boy asked in mid-yawn. It was such a shame, too. The village had been so peaceful, and already he was being rushed away from it.
"No, it's time to help. Pronto," Elliot replied. "There's going to be an eruption here. We have to do something!"
He had Isaac at "eruption." The boy rolled out of his bed and immediately ran for the door. It seemed like both brothers were going to be taking this mission on in their pajamas. This would be either a great idea or a terrible one. They made their way back to the group, Elliot smiling as brightly as possible. "Alright! My brother and I are willing to do anything it takes to help." he said, trying his hardest to sound confident in the face of a disaster far bigger than he was. He was not succeeding very well.

"Not important at all..." Muttering that little bit under her breath, regarding her own place in the grand scheme of things, Ami gave a sigh. It was a little rare for tamers to see, but it made a lot of sense if one just stood back and thought about it: humans weren't the main focus of this world, and in some cases, were just there. Though tamers and their partners were lauded for their power, it wasn't them that kept the day-to-day of this place going. No, that honor belonged to the Musyamon, the Gatomon, the Meramon, even the 'normal' residents of this town.
"Mmm... I dunno, you two might be familiar." Valeria cut out that thought, tilting her head curiously as she examined the red face of that small dinosaur. "Maybe we can catch up after this?"
"Ah... alright, be careful going against the crowd!" Calling out to Isaac as he ran off, Ami blinked as a Greymon was sent off in her direction, right as the timer on her Digivice went off. Clicking it, setting open another portal, she stepped aside as the dinosaur slipped through. It was clear that she was balancing a lot on her plate here, even with this simple role. And it wasn't as if she could stay and yak with Joey all day! "Um, let's see... Musyamon? Got anything for them to do?"
"Figure it out yourself!"
"Of course..." Seeing the Musyamon already tense just trying to keep the line in order, Ami turned to face Joey. "Well, you can help clean up the lines. Anyone big - you know, Greymon, all that, just call out to them and get a new line forming over here, in front of me."
"Ah, I see! Basically, anyone that wouldn't fit on a train... and it'll keep the other ones calmer to not have a giant dinosaur breathing down their back!"
"So, if you could manage that, that would be a great help!" Alright, there was one! But with these brothers coming over, just what was she going to have them do? "Do you even have partners-"
"Gah!" Just at that note, the Goblimon from before was forced out of the line, laid out on his back, the Gatomon from before taking a deep breath. The thankful-looking Frigimon ran along, the Goblimon only holding a broken backpack strap in his hands.
"A looter, really? Any little thing... tch. Ami, throw that one in a portal the next time one comes up- ah, what are these two doing?"
"Volunteers!"
"Really? Huh. Hey, we're kinda in a rush, but if you two could manage to get in... there? Yeah, there," The Gatomon pointed to a wide, one-story building at the back. "Its not much, but there should be a safe with records of the village. Tax stuff, all that. If you two could just grab that whole thing - I'd say, its about my size-ish? - and throw it in the back of the train? Would save us a lot of work later."
"You know, if this crowd doesn't set fire to it before the lava does!"
"Oh, can it, bunny-ears."

Dealing with the more unruly biggins? Sounds like a job for him.
Heck I deal with this unruly biggin right here all the time
"Hey!"
"Oh shoosh you know you can be", he hushed his digimon who'd seemed to have skimmed that thought. He'd quickly look back to Ami however, after she'd opened another gate. "Oh yea sure, I guess we could catch up… and try to remember if we've met or whatever. I bet that won't be awkward at all", he chuckled a bit at the end there. He liked the idea, but he just knew how wonderful he was at anything social. Especially after living with digimon for so long. Of course, from the feel of her she seemed to have spent plenty of time here in the digital world too, hmm.
"Oh yea, here take this!", remembering he had a similar functionality in his, he'd unclip his digivice and hold it up before actually tossing it to her. "I have the portal thing too, now you can open two so, hopefully that will speed things up. Just heh, remember to give it back", he chuckled a bit again and tightened his coat a bit before hopping away toward the line.
"Was… that a good idea?", Blitz asked a bit worried of being separated from the digivice.
"Come on dude, you barely even need it anymore, besides she's gunna be like, 20 feet away, she could just throw it back if we do need it."
"err… okay"
So he walked over to the line, and immediately saw a problem. There were some people who'd be harder to scope out on how well they'd fit on the train, but one guy was just poking out over the crowd and it made the boy wonder… what had his plan been?
"Hey you! Excuse me!", he said shouting up to the big ears of the mammothmon waiting in line. "Hey uh, you're not gunna fit on the train, can you come with us… Excuse me!", he shouted, trying to sound at least a bit polite, knowing these guys would probably be a bit aggravated already.

Judging by the way Gatomon described her job, she probably figured it would take the boys a good while to get it done. That would make Elliot's reaction of confusion all the stranger. "Really? That all you need? Oh, I can grab that in a jiffy!" Elliot held his Digivice high and became enveloped in bright light. Where a boy entered a giant snake emerged, as Sandiramon began tearing through the snow like a bullet train. With his great length, it was fairly trivial to make his way over to the building and start poking around inside. His beady eyes peered through the windows to search for the safe, and then he extended his long tail inwards to try and grab for it. It was a fairly simple two-step procedure, and surely he would be back sooner rather than later.
Isaac simply shrugged as his brother charged off gleefully. "Oh, that what we're doing?" he asked himself, as if suddenly everything was clear. He held his own Digivice high, and the equally-massive Orochimon took the stage. With access to eight heads, he could be an incredibly potent multitasker. "Alright, I'm on the ball now. Since my bro has the safe under control, anything I can do to help?"
See? Who needed partners when you could just turn into a Digimon? If anything, it made the complete lack of parental supervision that the Digital World threatened way less dangerous.

Well, Ami couldn't complain about that: catching the Digivice in her free hand, Ami gave the blue-and-gold device a quick look, before giving a nod, clipping her own white model on her belt. This earned a tilted head from the bunny, a curious tone in her voice: "We had to place in a national tournament for ours. Hm... wonder how long they've been around to have this stuff?" As Valeria muttered to her tamer, Ami merely gave a shrug.
"Doesn't really matter now, does it?"
"Guess not..."
As Joey and Blitz moved out into the crowd, another 'biggun' sprung up right next to Koneka: "What the!" Barely shielding her eyes from the evolution, the Gatomon looked up, only to see the white serpent slithering away to the building in question. She blinked, and then shook her head. "Right. Right. Some of you humans can do that, I forget." Sheesh, surprise spirit wielders? And, just a moment later, Isaac pulled out his own device, becoming the equally cumbersome Orochimon. Right there, on the outskirts of this evacuation.
On one hand, it made them stronger, and probably more capable in certain hands. On the other, doing that right in front of an already tense and rushed crowd definitely didn't do well to quell nerves: as Elliot cut through, and as Isaac emerged, the crowd that was already just barely keeping its wits about it just riled up:
"Owaah! Orochimon!"
"Run for your lives!"
"Cursed snakes! Cursed snakes!"
"H-hey! Get under control! They're here to help!"
Koneka's shouting just got lost in the crowd: what was once an orderly procession started to turn into a stampede, larger Digimon pushing over smaller ones, trying to push through, the entire crowd charging for the rails at once. On the track, around the front, beating at the poor, sole vehicle that was currently at the station! And it wasn't as if, even without the crowd, that Sandiramon's form was going to do Elliot any favors: unable to fit inside, it would just be a matter of flailing the tail around, hoping to hook onto the crate.
"Everybody shut up!" The Musyamon, in an effort to take control, climbed atop the vehicle, giving the crowd his trademark death stare. "You'll all get your turn! Just-"
"Oh, not this way!"
Some, in all this, had seen the portals from before, and in an effort to escape the mob, split off in Ami's direction. Considering for a moment, she reluctantly just held both devices down, not opening a new way out, lest more come this way. But even among all this? There still remained at least one calm figure.
The Mammothmon. It lumbered forth, as Joey called out to it, curiously turning its head towards the boy. "Wuzzat?" The mammal turned its head, and crouched down, getting on-level with him, seemingly oblivious to everything else going around. "Eyes ain't what they used to be... just figured I'd head uphill. No need to go too far, can stay nice and warm out here. I can ride ya' out, if ya wan'..."
"Oh, this is just getting silly... you!" Turning towards Isaac, Koneka called out: "Giant snake boy, make sure Ami doesn't get crowded out! Last thing we need is our emergency escape trampled over!"
Yup. This just got a lot worse, very fast!

Suddenly Snakes! Yep crap. The people freaked out. The relatively calm evacuation in the north had taken a steep dive south. The panic moved as a wave across the crowd, probably starting with just one or two screams before people began to shove and flock to the train, pushing and shouting, dropping things and shoving each other.
"Actually, they all seem a lot less pissy now at least", the human quipped. It probably wasn't the time for it, but oh well. To him this seemed like an overreaction. A likely one but still.
"Oh come on guys, we're worried about a volcano not some snakes, get your priorities in order", he'd shout out loud, painfully aware that, of all the digimon fleeing at full speed toward Ami, the one they actually wanted to head toward her seemed to just stand there.
"Huh… oh, uh, okay umm"
"Seems like he has his own plans"
"Yeaaaaa, uh", he didn't really know what to do about that. He guessed it was fine, it would help ease the stress off, well, everything right now. Though now they needed a way to calm this crowd.
Maybe they could use this guy. He was pretty big, he could probably be pretty loud too, that and he wasn't in the middle of the crowd at the moment, everyone had separated either to Ami or the train so he was just kinda here off to the side a bit… maybe.
"Actually!", he spoke up, shouting so the old timer could hear, "Could you hoist me up there and give a rather loud toot, or whatever sound you make with that trunk, I need to get everyone's attention!". He was hoping the sound, being loud but not near all the people, would get everyone's attention so he could tell them to shutup from atop the elephant like digimon.
Seriously though, why snakes, why'd they transform into giant snakes… didn't they need to move a safe? Sounds like it'd be easier with arms.

It was true that being able to fit his whole body inside would have made the situation far more advantageous for Elliot. However, of all the snake forms he could have picked, he was quite fortunate to have Sandiramon to rely on. A deft handler of spears and other such weaponry, surely he could handle a crate of all things. He'd just need to successfully get it, first, and he was sure fishing for it a few more times would do the trick. It helped that, as a serpent, he could use his flexible body to turn himself inwards, looking through one window and poking through the other with his tail. It would take a little bit longer to actually get his hands (or, rather, tail) on the box, but he'd also be able to heft it up with far more strength than Strikedramon, Veemon, or his own rather noodly arms. "Just a second!" he called to Gatomon as he made his tail's way to the crate, hoping his deftness wouldn't fail him now.
Isaac's work was far more cut out for him, as Digimon of all shapes and sizes came stampeding towards Ami. He slithered in front of her, keeping his heads high enough to avoid being stepped on but low enough to still avoid looking too imposing. "Everyone, please calm down!" he called out, the impassioned voice of a desperate 15 year old layered underneath by seven hollow, monotone ones. "I'm just here to help. With eight heads, I can oversee eight times as many things." Did it work that way? Sensory input from the puppet heads was minor, to say the least. But it was certainly much better than nothing.
"My friend here needs time to open the portals, but she's doing the best she can with them. I promise, she'll be able to get you all out of here soon," he said, trying to assure them. "Until then, just please keep nice and orderly, and stay in front of me to give her space. If she gets caught up in everything, then who'll be around to open the portal?"

At the very least, Isaac's movement cut off the flow of Digimon rushing for Ami. Well, a few still tried to squeeze by, in the chaos, but with screams, most of the crowd cut off back in the opposite direction, stumbling either uphill or back towards the train. This scattering concerned the Gatomon: what if someone got trampled, or worse, separated out into the valley? They had no way to get a good headcount, this late into the evacuation!
And it wasn't as if Isaac's words fell on deaf ears. At least some in the crowd started to realize what was going on, when they took a deep breath, and saw that these two ultimates weren't attacking or picking anyone out of the crowd, but were rather sitting off by the sides. "O-oh! My apologies..."
But the general crowd had fallen into chaos, and such words weren't going to bend the majority of them. The Musyamon continued to shout, demanding the crowd to organize themselves, threatening the most obtuse offenders with the tip of his blade. "Back! In line, and back off! This train is full!"
"If we don't get control of the situation, soon..." The Gatomon bit her lip, retreating to Ami's side. Everything about this had just gone haywire in the last few seconds, and if it didn't organize itself soon...
"Hm? Ah... I see." The Mammothmon, even in all this chaos, managed to calmly pick up Joey's words. Well, he asked: picking up Joey with his snout, and placing him atop his head, the Mammothmon let out a loud, elephant-like roar from its mouth, one that literally echoed throughout the village. Here, instead of the fear caused by the snakes, the crowd winced at once, and recognized the familiar sound of this creature's horn.
"M... Mammothmon?" A hushed whisper fell over the crowd, as it fell into silence at once. At the very least, Joey had the chance to speak his case.
As for Elliot? Eventually, the edge of his tail would hit something metal and cube-shaped... the safe! In a closet, behind the desk of the main office, it would be sitting under a pile of papers. Now all he had to do was find a way to drag it back! For now, it would appear as if the group would have it all so peaceful...
...
If only it could stay that way.

"Huh will you look at that it worked", he mumbled to himself looking over the crowd of expectant eyes. It was true, many humans in his situation may freeze up, become nervous, and not know what to say. Joey was lucky though, in that he was certified in the fine art of talking out his ass. Blitz sensed this was his plan and he spoke up a bit, "So, what are you going to say?" He was trying to prompt possibly a bit of thought in his tamer before he opened his mouth. "All of you need to calm down!", he began, shouting in a way he knew would hurt his throat later, but he wanted to be heard. "The only thing here to be worried about is that volcano! There are no monsters, there's nobody attacking, and we're just wasting time. So unless you all want to get burned up, melted or whatever the heck digimon do in HOT MOLTEN LAVA then you have to remain orderly and listen to us! You have three options!
One! If you're as tall as a greymon you aren’t going to easily fit on the train! So please, in an orderly fashion line up near Ami over here", he gestured, "Without trampling her, and wait your turn!
Two! Anyone shorter is going to be put on the train! Easy enough right? So just wait your turn like civilized mons an let the trailmon do their jobs!
Third! We have a new option! If you don't mind the cold cause you're… like, made of Ice or whatever, and wouldn't mind just waiting it out or heading out into the snow for whatever reason, Mammothmon here is heading out on his own. Feel free to go too and keep him company, it'll also help lighten up the load of the trains and portals!" He hoped the option he'd just come up with was a good one. Mammothmon seemed pretty chill, so he probably wouldn't mind the company… or notice most of it. His voiced finished echoing around the buildings of the village for a moment before he cleared his throat and finally said "Thank you" ============================================= Blitz: In-Training

Found it! Elliot let out a confident grin as he tried to plan what to do next. Ideally this should be simple. Ultimate Digimon were very strong, and he highly doubted a safe would be made so big even an Ultimate couldn't lift it. It'd just be a matter of getting it hooked around, and then once it was sufficiently looped gently pulling it out of the building. He'd just have to be careful with it, because the last thing this building would need was a safe haphazardly careening through it. Keep it calm, keep it gentle, and then nobody else would have to panic.
Isaac at least stopped Ami from being trampled, and a more eloquent speaker seemed to be controlling the flow of the traffic. It was much more likely they would listen to a human than a 8-headed snake, anyway, even if Isaac was louder. "Cursed snake," wasn't it? Yeah, at this point his job was basically bodyguard. At the very least he was intimidating and big enough to perform that job well, judging by how the crowd initially scattered when he first emerged. At least a few people were sticking around and realizing that he meant no harm. They earned grateful smiles from the somewhat weary looking serpent.
"None of us are here to hurt you," he said, trying to keep his voice calm and reassuring. The seven monotone reverbations didn't help much, sadly. Maybe he'd get better control of shutting up his other heads with practice. "The humans are here to protect you, and so am I. Trust us, and we'll do everything we can to keep you safe." And with that he settled into a guarding stance, albeit one more stoic and watchful than hostile.
