The conversation was droning on, and there was nothing Viktor had to input. Maybe argue with the whole 'power gap' thing, which Viktor had seen first hand to be false. But he figured that some lessons were best discovered for oneself. Genesis, however, was quick to step in their conversation;
"Not necessarily, the gap of power is only marginal, it can be compared but I've seen Champions fight Megas. It's not unheard of."
Viktor only rolled his eyes as rolled his shoulders and stretched his sore shoulders. The thought of only seeing power was dangerous. Some digimon could mask their power, Genesis being one of them. But Viktor figured that another lesson to be learned later. With a sigh, he turned his back over and counted his items for a third time. What was taking this train so long to depart?
Generally speaking, the Trailmon wait was never long, in fact, this was out of the ordinary. Out the ordinary meant that something was different, and different was never good. Viktor was in the group again, moving like a ghost as he stood just behind the German woman, offset to everyone's view. Maybe this was just a delay, one that Viktor had never seen, but either or, he needed to be on guard, and his Digimon arguing about the level of Digimon wouldn't help anyone.
Viktor interrupted their conversation and spoke to the Xros General child; "You, boy, you have been to the Digital world, yes?"
His accent was only mirrored by the scratches in his worn voice, not warranting the concern that was buried in the depths of his mind.

The stuttering boy answered Panzer's query with a rather easy explanation. If physical strength was the kind of strength responsible for triggering a Digivolution then Panzer would have an easy time if she decided to become a fully fledged tamer."So it's either physical strength or being in danger that triggers Digivolution...hmmm those seem simple enough to replicate." Of course nobody had anything to add to that...except for Shi who seemed to have missed the subject entirely. He went on his little speech about how Digimon had different classifications for strength than humans and how different ranks of Digimon were unable to defeat those of a higher rank; of course such a thing sounded rather moronic to our lovely bodyguard.
What stood out as the most interesting thing to Panzer was the notion of Spirit Tamers and Xros tamers; humans becoming Digimon and Digimon fusing together to create new, more powerful Digimon sounded like it held a lot of...variety in it. If Digivolution was truly the means by which Digimon evolved then wouldn't the breeds of Digimon with more varied sub-breeds have the most success when it came to survival? Hmm..perhaps these were questions for another time. "While that is very interesting Shi I'm more curious in what the trigger for Digivolution is. Tadashi over here has answered my question sufficiently." She still had many questions of course but for now we could move onto another topic.
At least that's what Panzer had hoped but no...the Digimon that served as Viktor's partner interjected in the conversation stating that the power gap between different forms was only marginal and how lower ranked Digimon had beaten higher ranked ones. At the moment Panzer cared little due to the lack of relevance she felt that information had not that she'd be forgetting it any time soon. "Before we get too off topic...I merely wish to know what causes an egg to hatch? I'm curious to see what would come out of this...strange egg." Hopefully she'd get a better answer than "data" this time.

Mercurymon takes this one, which Tadashi is eternally grateful for. He hasn't...exactly had to deal with Digitama before, since all of his partners came to him fully grown. "Well, m'lady, there's no real way to speed up the process. It simply requires time. Usually no more than a few days from when it forms. It could hatch in two days, or two seconds," Well. 'Helpful' might not be the right word to use to describe the information Mercurymon's giving, since Panzer's sure to still want a way to hatch the egg faster. Oh, he's not done. "Trying to hatch the egg faster could result in data corruption, or deformity. It's been known to happen,"
Tadashi has one more point, though. "T-trying to rush your Digimon th-through stages by putting it or y-yourself in danger, or just...forcing it t-to Digivolve can make it go...uh..." he thinks for a minute, "d-dark. Wild, out of c-control. Like a berserker rage. I think it's actually c-c-c-called D-Dark Digivolution Y-you really d-don't want to be on the end of that, so p-please just exercise some caution, okay?".
The woman seems nice enough, just...a little too focused on the idea of making whatever Digimon is in that egg stronger. That's a fair-enough goal, as long as it isn't forced or rushed. ...Although it would be quite amusing if her partner was a pacifist...
