Early morning. Most of Tokyo was still enveloped in a deep slumber enjoying peaceful sleep but for Panzer this was hardly a moment to be spent sleeping; she had a train to catch after all! Standing at the station arms folded across her chest was Panzer jacket worn over her shoulders in the guise of a billowing cape. Was it cold out at this time of the day? Yes. Why was Panzer wearing her leather jacket over her shoulders then? Simply put she had just spent the last eight hours in a sweltering night club wearing a thick suit; the last thing she wanted was more heat.
"Late..." Her expression twisted into a grimace and she yawned irritation welling up. The last thing she wanted at five am after a hectic night was for her journey home to take longer than normal! God damn was she getti- okay no..calm.Inhaling she looked at her watch and groaned. The hands read out 5:15 am exactly a quarter of an hour later than the train should have been. She knew trains could be late but this was starting to take the cake and the entire bakery! With nothing better to do than wait Panzer began to pace along the concrete of the station
It was she paced up the length and breadth of the terminal Panzer began to hear a strange sound rather similar to the noise produced by dial up machines. Confused by the sudden appearance of this noise the German bouncer went for her phone, that was the point of origin for the sound after all, and whipped it out from her pocket. The phone's screen was distorted images splitting and bouncing about as the dial up sound continued to play. "The hell's up with this damn thing? Pile of junk..." Having had enough of this Panzer gave her phone a good wack hoping it'd fix it which it did but not in the way the bouncer hoped.
Her phone was enveloped in a bright light, its features obscured by the brightness, and then seemed to physically split in two at which point the light faded. Having shielded her eyes from the brightness Panzer didn't know any of this occurred however she had heard the sound of something falling to the ground. Opening up her optical receptor orbs Panzer first looked at her phone, which seemed to have stopped malfunctioning now, then turned her gaze downwards. On the ground she saw a black D-3, not that she knew what it was, resting by her feet. The sudden appearance of this odd looking, if unassuming device, prompted her to bend down and pick it up.
The moment she laid her hand on it the D-3 burst to life and text appeared on the screen saying "User recognised" before shutting off again. Ugh tonight really was turning out to be a massive pain wasn't it?..."I must be more tired than I thought if I am hallucinating..." As she shook her head dismissively Panzer decided to pocket the strange handheld device only to be interrupted by the sound of a train. Her head darted up quick and agile gaze resting upon the unused terminal but now it no longer as unused as it once had; the bouncer realised that she must be hallucinating worse than she thought...
A fresh coat of paint decorated the walls of the disused terminal, new fresh looking entry barriers were present and their seemed to be a train pulling into the station. Intrigued by this Panzer attempted to access this newly spawned terminal eager to see just how far this hallucinatory rabbit hole went however she was unable to get past the barriers which seemed to lack a ticket reader. "What good's a damn entry gate if there's no ticket reader? Verdammt!" Panzer slipped into her native tongue, a handy way to yell expletives without anyone understanding, and attempted to push her way through the entry gate. Sadly that failed but it did trigger a loud beeping noise from the strange device she recently acquired.
"Jesus Christ why are you beeping now?" She yanked the black D-3 out of her pocket and the beeping stopped suddenly as a green light appeared on the terminal gate's read out. Wondering if perhaps the black device had been responsible for the sudden appearance of a green light Panzer pushed on the gate. Perhaps unsurprisingly the gate opened and Panzer walked into the terminal proper looking around before feeling like she was being watched. Wondering what was responsible for the feeling of being watched the bouncer scanned the terminal's station but seeing nobody..at which point the engine honked its horn. Immediately her gaze shot forward and she found herself staring at a bullet train...except it had eyes.
"It's official...I've lost my mind...trains with eyes..what next?..." She merely stared and blinked at the train before her at which point it blinked back, honked its horn and opened up the doors. Out of the doors poured a small, but immensely varied, crowd of strange Digimon. Panzer just stared dumb founded at the Dinosaur like Digimon as they walked out of the train of course they didn't share her amazement and simply went about their business exiting the terminal. "You..weird train with eyes....Explain what the hell's happening." The stern tone of her voice, the frustrated expression on her face and the usage of expletives made it pretty clear that Panzer wasn't asking for questions; she was demanding them. Woe betide the pool fool who thought this would be a good moment to yank her chain.

Someone else was waiting for the train. Why hadn't he and his companions been spotted? Probably because Panzer was tired. Or...maybe they were just really well hidden next to a vending machine/cloaking device hybrid. A caucasian boy in his mid teens, a little on the short side with dark brown hair and matching eyes. He's dressed in his school uniform, apparently ready well in advance. Although given how untidy he looks? He might not have gone home yet. It'd be more likely, given the hour. Three companions stand near him. A child-sized imp with bright red hair and a red tail. A tall, reflective figure with mirrors all over its body and no real face to speak of. And a towering, slender figure in black armor (complete with moving eyes on the chest and shoulders) with skulls for hands (at least the swords are sheathed inside right now! Makes a nice change.), and long blonde hair. "M'lord, I do believe I spy a freshly-hatched tamer," The mirror-wielding creature announces in a somewhat upper-class British accent. The fiery imp nudges him in the shin, "They don't hatch dufus,". The third figure remains...silent, but matches his human master step-for-step as they move forwards. "H-hello?" Tadashi calls out while they're still a good twenty feet away, not wanting to sneak up behind the woman with his...uh. Monsters. yeah. "I'm g-guessing you're n-n-new to all of this? Y-y-y-y-y..." he takes a deep breath and tries again, "y-you're going to want to take a d-deep breath. Everything's about t-to change for y-you,"Cliché.

"Tired." a teen muttered out as he walked along towards the one station he always went to, felt routine at this point since he always left early morning when he had no school, he couldn't say no school work since college was harsh on his small almost nonexistant social life, he should really get out more. Adjusting his hat for a moment before pulling on his plaid coat he slowly made his way followed closely by two blond haired golden eyed younger looking teens roughly the same age, or at least looked it.
Why was it one of them demanded to go so early for some weird adventure? Though Shi had to admit when Yuudai said he felt something might go down here today this is why he left. For one reason or another Yuudai seemed to be able to tell what might go on in places, or at least have a rough feeling something might go down, maybe it was a second sense? Maybe he was just good at intuition. Or maybe he just had a knack for getting the three of them in situations they might not be needed for, the last one sounded true.
Yasuo simply messed with the rubix cube he had bought a while back, puzzles were always his thing. Once he solved it he tossed it over to his brother who messed it up again and handed it back, the amount of times this had happened were almost staggering.
Shi finally reaching his destination slowly took out his digivice but a voice woke him from his tired trance. Glancing up he saw a two people he had never met before, one said something about the other being new to this. Shi paused for a moment before wondering. Was this really something he wanted to deal with this early in the morning? Was this really something he wanted to do? Why couldn't he just go with the other portal. Or finally buy one of those other ones or something?
However to his lack of luck shining through the door was unlocked and Yasuo in his trance had just assumed Shi had opened it up, Yuudai just didn't care either way and both walked through the gate onto the terminal. So Shi kinda had to follow. He walked on the platform but quickly grabbed the twins and pulled them back to keep them from running into the people they didn't notice.

Tokyo
A city Viktor often found himself loathing as he walked it's dark streets. His business here was never leisure and always ended with awry in someway. He had been away from the digital world so long, it was somewhat refreshing to go back to such a strange and whimsical world.
He strode along as he entered appeared into the subway, only sighing as he ran a hand along the stationary Trailmon. Genesis, in her holosuit, not far behind him. Several digimon and tamer were too in the secluded station, unrecognized faces in a familiar scene. The one spouting in German was clearly new to this, Viktor didn't need a sixth sense to see that. The confused, open expression, the clear lack of preparation to enter the digital world; They might have just told everyone they were new.
With a sigh, Viktor ran a hand through his long, black hair as he looked to Genesis and nodded. She gave a warm smile and the blonde, slender woman became a bipedal fox, who stretched as he rolled her neck;
"Ready to head back to digital world, pops?"
Viktor arched an eye and glanced over the crowd; "No more than any of them. Did you remember your glass?"
She nodded and pointed to the compartment in Viktor's tightly packed bag;
"It's a water-bottle, pops. And yes, I did!"
Genesis was quick to introduce herself to the German woman and her little friend, "Heya! Name's Gen! You never seen a Trailmon before, huh?"
She gave another warm smile and extended a paw to shake,
"That over there is my pops, Viktor. He's a little grouchy, don't mind him."
With a roll of his eyes, Viktor rolled his bag off his back and sat it between his feet, sitting down and leaning back comfortably as he waited for the Trailmon to open. Rumor had it that the Devas were defeated, and an old friend was calling.
He was looking to answer.

(might I ask everyone has links to their characters in their signatures please?..<.< It's a pain searching for them :/)
Suddenly appearing Mcguffin? Check. Randomly appearing train station? Check. Strange creatures? Check. Humans that had a clue what was going on? Check. Panzer definitely wasn't in the mood for this. The German Amazon of a woman just wanted to go home and sleep but natural curiosity was enough to keep her there. Her gaze turned mechanically towards Tadashi and his strange companions. It was a simple assumption to make that, based upon how they talked, Tadashi and his associates seemed rather knowledgeable upon this subject. "You. boy with the strange creatures. Care to indulge my curiosity with an explanation? I'd rather you start with explaining this. Also don't stutter..it's annoying." She held her Digivice up, it was what got her into this terminal, hoping Tadashi would quit the stuttering.
It seemed Tadashi was not the only one interested in this train with eyes and the station as even more strange creatures and humans showed up to join the menagerie. Next to arrive was a youth with dark hair and an face twisted in tiredness. Panzer had to admit it was strange seeing people show up at a train station this early in the morning, the sun was yet to rise after all, but she supposed it had something to do with the fact with this strange train. On the subject of that strange train Panzer walked towards it and went to poke one of the eyes. In response Trailmon blew steam out and spoke something which surprised Panzer; after all trains weren't known for their ability to speak English. "Keep your fingers to yourself please.." The German female backed away and sighed.
"I really must be going mad...talking trains on top of everything now Ugh I feel this will take ages to explain..." Then a third and forth person showed up but then one of the people turned into a strange anthropomorphic fox like creature; yet another thing to add to the "I've seen crazy things" list. "So this big train's called Trailmon?..Right. I'd more be confused by that but given how he talks and has eyes I guess he's alive...I feel the explanation is going to take a while.We should probably sit down somewhere huh?" It was at that moment a Digimon, a red one to be precise, casually shoved an Egg into Panzer's hands "Keep this safe[/b]" Was all the strange dinosaur like creature said before running off disappearing into the streets of Tokyo. Panzer was..confused by this but hid the egg inside her backpack; after all she didn't want to gave up something potentially dangerous after all.

Tadashi's expression flips from friendly and helpful to hostile and defensive like someone had flicked a switch. Neat! "St-stop my stammer? Gee. If only th-that had occured to m-me, Woman w-w-without manners," Must be a sensitive issue! Indeed, the little imp next to him exhales a little smoke through his nose as he glares (metaphorical, for the moment) daggers at Panzer. What a jerk she was being. And that was coming from him. Duskmon finally speaks from a few steps behind Tadashi, "Be careful what you say to Lord Tadashi," It's quiet, but there's an edge of menace to his voice. Is it a threat? Or does he always sound like he's threatening people? ...Well. The latter, definitely, but.
It might be easy enough for people to assume Tadashi's stammer is just a stutter that comes from being shy or lacking confidence, but they couldn't be more wrong in his eyes! He's extremely confident in himself and his abilities, and rarely even gives his lifelong speech impediment any thought at all, unless he's really struggling with a word. Still. Most people had the common sense not to bring it up to him.
Oh good, an egg and one of those Digivice Lites like he'd seen others with. Linked to one Digimon, rather than the virtual army he could apparently link to his Xros Loader. Pssh. Maybe he's letting his anger cloud his view, so he takes a deep breath to try and clear his mind of all that a little. Right. A new tamer or whatever. He should stick around in case she gets poor advice. It's not like the Digital World is going anywhere, so they can afford to delay their trip by an hour or so.

Well another person showed up, with a bipedal Fox no doubt. It was to early for Shi and he didn't have his morning coffee thanks to one of the twins who said he would be fine and they shouldn't go and get this stuff, sheesh who says stuff like that. Shi wasn't a bundle of energy and power like the two Agumon twins were he had, well one more then the other anyway. Shi let out a small yawn finally fully waking up and taking in the gravity of this situation.
His mind quickly snapped into idea mode as he thought about the situation, New tamer. Two seemingly older tamers who might know more then he did, doubtful but still Shi wasn't cocky enough to believe he knew everything that went on around the digital world. Start with the new tamer, older then himself that was obvious, German he wanted to say. Taller which was something Shi was not used to and seemed quite prone to anger judging by what she said about the other kid, either that or she just didn't feel it was rude compared to just saying hello. Or she was still in some shock about the situation just snapping. Obviously the response wasn't great from the other kid.
Yuudai and Yasuo both quietly analyzed what was going on next to Shi but he was the only one who stepped forward. "That device your holding is something called a digivice. Its functions vary from what you put on it but the basic function is a process called digivolution. Something you'll understand if you hold on to that egg." Shi said giving a small point to the egg she was just handed, he also just explained what the device was after noticing the other guy had not. Shi kept a cold emotionless tone as he talked and a similar emotionless face. Yuudai and Yasuo both placed hands in their Holo suit coats figuring that they shouldn't turn into their normal forms, they found humans talk easier to other humans and it would be best to save transforming for when the appropriate question was asked.
"I know you have questions, this isn't exactly the best way to learn about all this stuff but it's the way it happened. So please try to bare with me and the others, stuttering." Shi added not sounding like he was trying to be rude to the other person, he just didn't want it coming up in conversation again.

A folded ear and arched eye met the large digimon that attempted to threaten the new tamer, and with it, the frustration.
"Relax, or I'll give you a reason to-"
Viktor was standing among them, as if he appeared there. He grabbed the fox by the ear and pulled her downwards;
"We do not need to fight here. Not in a populated city, tsvetoka. Do you understand?"
Genesis didn't fight and relaxed, "S-sorry, I only wish to protect the weak."
Viktor released her and sighed, looking among the others, eyeing them carefully as he patted her on the back; "Drugoye vremya i mesto, tsvetoka."
He turned his gaze to the Duskmon; "There are rules, laws, forbiddening fights in populated areas. Do you understand this? You will have much bigger problems than myself or the others."
Before he could get a word in, Viktor would already be sitting on the bench, watching the group carefully. It was clear how little he trusted these people. Let alone anyone. Humans were fickle, unable to truly sense danger as a digimon could. If the digimon had been in Luminas this past year, they would recognize him as a wanted man, but not just that; if they were truly perceptive, they would know he was not just dangerous. He was lethal. Viktor never bothered to address this to anyone, instead, he simply sat on the bench, lighting a cigar as he pushed the nicotine flavored smoke into the air.
With a gentle tug, he pulled up his sleeve, just enough to see the metal surrounding his arm, the mechanical skeleton covered by his jacket. A reminder of the gift the Devas left. A constant reminder of the dangers the digital world presented, a reminder to keep your head on a swivel or lose it.
Genesis finally walked over and sat next to him, smiling as she sighed, waiting for the train to allow them to leave;
"Why we headed back so soon, pops?"
With a sigh he rolled his neck; "Unfinished business."
((Sorry about the wait! Work has me in a hold! ))

Ugh of course the boy would get upset over that. Panzer rolled her eyes dismissively unimpressed by his sensitivity; was she being rude? Yes she'd concede that point but as far as she was concerned Tadashi getting upset by that wasn't her problem. If you went through life getting offended, hurt and upset by every mean comment or impolite thing people said then you should probably avoid speaking with anybody. Already Tadashi had made a bad first impression and now Duskmon was hammering home an even worse impression. Despite the fact she ignored and dismissed Duskmon's threat Panzer still found that her opinion of Tadashi had been damaged by it; after all if you needed other people to demand respect for you then clearly you weren't worth respecting in the first place.
"If your lord Tadashi wishes me to be more mindful of my comments then he himself, not you, should straight up ask me to. I'd respect him for it." Panzer was not one for subtlety or tact; she said what she meant and she meant what she said. Honesty was so often a double edged sword. Out of everyone here only two people had proven to be useful: Genesis and Shi. Rounding her attention onto the fox like Digimon Panzer was oddly appreciative of their intent. "Not sure who you are..but I do appreciate you intervening. I may not need somebody to fight my battles for me...but it's always nice to see people willing to protect those who can't protect themselves." She smiled and nodded at the Digimon grateful for their assistance despite the fact it was not needed.
On the subject of assistance now it was Shi's turn. He, unlike the others assembled, actually seemed willing to answer the many questions Panzer undoubtedly had. So that strange black device her phone turned into was called a Digivice huh? Okay that answered one question but opened up numerous other avenues of curiosity. One of this was, and perhaps the most vital, "what does a Digivice do?" of course there were plenty others. "So this thing is called a Digivice..okay now what is Digivolution? Does it have something to do with evolution? You might think Panzer was curious as to the nature of the Digiegg she held but the nature of an egg was an easy thing to summarise; eggs hatched. That was actually a good question to ask...
"Oh the subject of this egg...I'm assuming it will hatch into one of these....beings you three are accompanied by? Of course the only real questions I care about are what will hatch from this egg and how to make it hatch." The German female was easily prepared to assume that Digieggs needed heat like normal eggs did but..given how strange the creatures around her were it would not be impossible that different requirements applied to Digieggs. "Fine. As you're answering my questions and have asked for it I suppose I can show tolerance." Despite how standoffish that statement was one had to admit there was logic behind it; Panzer was trading her self being tolerant of Tadashi's stuttering in return for information regarding Digieggs, Digimon and Digivices. It was a fair trade.

Duskmon's chest-mounted eye remains trained on the fox-like Digimon that had been so eager to pick a fight, however he says nothing. Tadashi does, however. "I'm n-not looking for your r-r-respect. D-Duskmon was not going to attack y-you. We're not in the h-h-h-h-..." deep breath. "Habit of picking fights. W-we spend most of our t-t-time trying to st-stop them. Duskmon's j-just a little...over-protective s-s-sometimes. So I ap-apologize for my demeanor, but people usually only b-b-bring up my speech impediment to m-mock me. You g-get k-kinda sick of that after s-s-sixteen years,"He takes a deep breath after that, and nods, " Digimon grow in st-stages. Fresh, In-Training, R-Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, M-Mega and sometimes beyond th-that. Most eggs h-hatch at the fresh level and, as you guessed, evolve t-to further levels when they become st-strong enough or when they're in d-d-danger," He taps his Xros Loader Digivice against his chin as he thinks. "I d-don't know wh-what'd help the egg h-hatch beyond j-just time. I don't imagine h-heat, since they're n-not laid like ch-chicken eggs. Data?"

Normally Shi would of been the one to not let either side start fighting. He figured that was just a threat so he let it pass though the Fox seemed to take it literally, should there be a fight Shi would stop it but he didn't need to as the other human seemingly appeared next to his partner before subduing and stopping them. Shi didnt even notice him move as he did that and went along talking about the rules of the human world.
Shi cast a glance to the man on the bench keeping his calm face. He pondered a bit on who this man was. Shi hadn't much knowledge of the digital world himself but he figured if he was someone important, or dangerous. Someone would of told him. Then again the only people Shi ever really met were new people. But still Shi couldn't help but get this sense of danger from the man, simply because he did as Shi does and kept his eye on everyone from the bench, at least that's what Shi thought he was doing.
Shi let his eyes wander back over to the new tamer, though this was another odd thing. These two seemed old. One was a new tamer and seemed twice the age Shi was. And the other seemed like he knew what he was doing, either faking it, or really. he seemed to know exactly how to handle his partner, something Shi didn't fully know how to do. Either way Shi would deal with it if it became a problem, or at least try should his first thought be right.
The other kid seemed to answer the questions directed at Shi for him. So he just gave a quick nod. "What he said." Figuring he couldn't offer anything else on that.

As expected, they boy reacted. Genesis was told to desist, so she obeyed. The relationship she had with Viktor was not that of control or dominance, but harmony. She listened to him, and he listened to her, it was how things worked. Sometimes Viktor came off as a little dominant or pushy, and this was fine. Genesis was passionate about protecting people. Her partner did not share that sentiment.
Leaning on his knees, Viktor interlocked his fingers and looked around yet again, the group here would definitely be a problem. The Xros General had too-overzealous Digimon, the German Girl barely understood what Digimon were. If a true fight with a powerful Digimon started, Viktor wasn't sure how useful the other two would be. But this quiet one, the one who kept a face of stone; He was an enigma. He wagered he was on the cusp of adulthood, just finding his way in this world. To Viktor, it was obvious. Shi didn't have to speak or show any kind of emotion for him to gather this. He simply had a look about him, one most young men carried when they hit adulthood. It slightly varied between people, but there was something familiar in his eyes. A look Viktor had seen before; Loss.
He wasn't going to ask if he lost a parent, or both. Or if he lost a relative, nor did he truly care. Viktor simply was analyzing them, as he did every person he met.
"Testing the waters again, eh?" Genesis chimed in, breaking him from his own mind.
"Gauging. Just in case." He looked back at them, watching again.
"You think any of them are bad eggs? One of them might attack us."
Viktor didn't break his stare" "No. Which one is worth saving if we get attacked."
Genesis sighed as she stood up and swung around, blocking his vision;
"Pops, if that happens, we are saving everyone."
Viktor looked up at her and patted her leg; "You have much to learn, tsvetoka."

It was a good thing Duskmon wasn't going to attack Panzer not only for her own sake but also because she would have put up a fight. In fact if she had been forced to fight Duskmon she would have gone for that big eye on his chest; she had no idea if it would actually hurt him or not but surely no matter what kind of creature you were a huge ass eye growing from your chest would have hurt right? The German had no clue but she was willing to roll the dice and gamble on that chance; of course it hadn't come to that so she had no need to. "Don't apologise. That is perfectly understandable irregardless of my initial response." Did she dislike stuttering? Yes. Did she understand Tadashi's reasons for it? Yes.
Moving on Panzer was actually starting to gleam some sort of understand regarding Digivolution. So Digimon evolved and went through a series of levels as they became stronger? Okay that was easy to understand but...how did you quantify strength in this context? People rarely used the word in a literal sense. "Okay..and what kind of strength are we talking about? Physical strength? Emotional strength? Mental? Strength is rarely used in a literal manner." Hopefully Tadashi would have a decent answer for Panzer after all the process of Digivolution was something she wished to see for herself. The other two there had either simply agreed with Tadashi, such as Shi, or conversed with their partner as in Viktor's case.

"Uh. M-mostly physical, I guess. Usually th-the personality of the Digimon changes as they D-D-Digivolve, as far as I know. The higher level they are, the m-more mature they often are. So I s-s-suppose there's an element of emotional strength as well. M-more powerful, either way. Whether that's b-bigger muscles or getting gattling guns f-f-for arms,"
It's the best explanation Tadashi's got. None of his partners can Digivolve, after all. They just sort of...fly apart and then combine. Like giant robots. Ooh. Maybe he could find some giant robot themed partners...
That aside, he looks back to his own partners before he continues, "Not all Digimon s-seem to d-do it, though. My partners c-c-combine r-rather than evolve. I think that's t-to do with the type of Digivice, though."

Shi glanced at the final person, he had another type of digivice Shi didn't know, though through process of elimination he deducted he was a Xros general, and Shi having little knowledge on the subject figured his way of evolving was different, when strength was called into question and the answer not the best Shi decided it would be best to give a straighter answer. "Strength is classified differently for Digimon, they go by a sort of rank. With the digivice you have it goes by this, Fresh, In training, Rookie, Champion, Ultimate and Mega. Each one stronger then the last form, in fact such a power gap it would be almost impossible for one form below to beat one form higher. The power depends on the digimon, some big and powerful, others small and fast. And everything in between and beyond." Shi calmly explained deciding he didn't want to hear about this all along waiting for the train.
"There are a lot of different types, Spirit tamers who can become a digimon, Xros generals who fuse and mix and a natural tamer like me who uses the process of digivolution to allow a partner or two to gain a form higher, it depends on the strength of the tamer and everyone reaches new power at different times.
