Eva gave a slight chuckle at the mention of "social justice warriors" as she rolled up her trouser leg in order to get a good look at the damaged cybernetic augmentation. That, and to stop the hot components from scorching a hole in them. Despite the heavy damage and the occasional wisps of smoke still rising from a ruined piece of electronic equipment somewhere within them, they still looked like highly complex masterworks of precision engineering. She was able to take a panel off, the section clattering to the floor and releasing more smoke that was previously held back into the room.
Underneath the panel were a series of almost muscle like black carbon nanotube bundles linked to joints on a bone like titanium frame in a similar fashion to a human's anatomy. Despite the strong, shock absorbing design, the central titanium bone structure had sheared clean in two at the angle, ripping several of the muscle fibre bundles with it. This in turn seemed to have caused a short circuit judging by the burn marks, scorched components and even a few important looking parts that had clearly melted from the just sheer heat.
"Looks like it shorted and shut itself down to stop further damage. Not much we can really do about it here. At least it just went numb rather than anything else. Anyway, we got bigger problems. Anyone have any way of contacting the outside world? The fire I set should be making a decent amount of smoke out of the chimney but with these weather conditions visibility's crap. Barely thirty meters, tops. "
She reached over, managing to grab the removed panel and click it back into place, the carbon fibre section sealing with a small hiss, restoring the seal before she forced herself back on her feet using the walking stick as support in an attempt to look all decisive and leader like."We need some way of contacting the outside world. A radio or satellite phone would be perfect, but I'm guessing none of you just happen to be carrying that."
She turned to look at each member of the group. "Ok. We need to check the rest of this building for supplies. We've only been through a couple of rooms so far and there's no point just sitting on our arses waiting to die in here. Be careful though, I'm not too sure how stable this building is, especially in this windstorm. Don't put yourselves at risk, no point in getting yourself killed. Priorities, communication equipment, medical supplies, food. In that order.
It didn't seem like Kira was doing too well, the poor kid looked close to tears. Eva dropped to one knee in front of her to drop to the same height, putting a reassuring hand on the young girl's shoulder. "Hey. Don't worry, we're going to make it through this, okay?" She gave Kira a nod, then forced herself up to her full height again.
"We're going to get through this, all of us! Tough times never last, but uh... tough people do! She facepalmed and gave a long sigh. That little inspirational quote was terrible. "Look. I'm not great at the whole "inspiring speech" thing. But we know what we have to do, so let's get it done."

Elliot frowned as he noticed Kira's reaction to Alicia's statement. He knew Alicia didn't mean it. Heck, how were any of them supposed to know she'd take it that way? But feeling scared and helpless wasn't a new feeling for him, and he knew it would suck just leaving her to deal with it by himself. Figuring she'd need a more trustworthy face for help than a giant street fighting dragon, he released his Digivolved form and shrank back down to his human self. Once the transformation was gone he looked at Kira, a bit of concern in his eyes.
"Hey, come on," he said, trying to think on how Isaac used to cheer him up. His tone and inflection weren't perfect matches, and it was clear he was trying to sound older and wiser than he was, but what he lacked in confidence he made up for in pure earnestness. "There's no need to be sorry. Heck, I'd say you're the best person to say what we should do next. Renamon's your partner. And that means you're her strength, and her happiness. You being here's essential for helping her through this. And I know there's no one here who'll be able to make her feel better than you.
So please, tell me. How should we make her happy?"
He decided to leave all of the other logistics stuff to the grown-ups. They could talk about supplies and plans all they wanted, but they were missing something important just focusing on the numbers. Digimon were really remarkable creatures. They always seemed to push through when needed most, and they always seemed to grow stronger and more lively the closer they were to those they loved. Supplies would help fight the battle, true. But it was going to take some genuine care and attention to really help Renamon fight the good fight, and Elliot wasn't about to let that get forgotten.

Alicia couldn’t help but wince a bit at the severity of the damage. Looking at it closely though… she was surprised to see what it was that made the cyborg Renamon’s cybernetics tick. If only she had materials, she could’ve actually done a lot of good. Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but some of it didn’t look all that dissimilar to her mundane job. Oh well, nothing to be done about it now.
Then Eva mentioned a radio, and the metaphorical light bulb went off. “Hmm…” Lowering her voice to a whisper, she left the group to themselves and secluded herself for a bit to turn her attention towards her spirits. “Sol, Kisara, any chance you can help me with what frequencies are used in the Digital World?”
”I’ve got what your looking for kid but how- … no way…” Sol began before going into stunned disbelief.
“Yup… I’m gonna make a radio tower out of this malleable body. Kisara, can you help weaken the storm a bit?”
”That’s above my paygrade as I am. At the height of my power I could have, but now not so much. I can however help you calibrate to strengthen the signal enough that it can pierce through the storm anyways.”
“That’ll have to do.” Alicia noted, going to one of the windows and settling herself in. She was probably going to be like this for a while. And with that most her mercurial body, for lack of a better word, began to unravel, her limbs bracing onto the ground outside and inside, her head sliding to the side to be out of the way, and her wings and main body started to stretch out the window and as high into the sky as she could manage. That which wasn’t made into the actual base and tower was used to mimic all the little parts that made such a set up work.
“Alright! We need radio, right? This is a bit impromptu but if I know who I should contact, my little set up here should be strong enough to reach the necessary rescue teams. So, whenever someone with an idea of who to contact wants to try, please, step right up.” She called out, mainly to Eva since she seemed to have the best idea of what the hell needed to be done. “Everyone else? Take care and whatever you do don’t fall asleep.”

Kira was feeling down about herself that right there was very true, but after Kuu did that she just smiled, if only slightly at the sheer fact that Kuu was still the same, even in the crisis he still found time to do that. But after that whole thing with Eva and Elliot both taking to her she just realized the sheer fact that both just took the time out of working on the situation to worry about her, now instead of crying the ten year old was red in the face making herself smaller as Elliot talked to her about her being the only one who knows what would make Renamon happy. She wasn't used to being told she was important to something. "uhh, N-no I wouldn't say I'm all that to Renamon. I=I mean of course I'm her partner but I wouldn't know about her strength and happiness." Kira tried to say but her head instantly clicked thinking back to every time Renamon fought, even going so far as to fight a Ultimate for the sake of trying to defend her.
"Actually, if she was awake right now. I'm pretty sure she would only be alright, so long as I'm still alive. Since it's only because of me she's in that condition now. It should've been me who was hurt by the train not her, instead I came out unscathed and, and she can't even move right now." Kira took a moment her face blank to look at Renamon, to what point was the fox going to go to make sure the ten year old wasn't hurt at all.
"So, don't worry about me. And sadly even in this condition I would think she wouldn't want you to worry about her. She's stronger than you'd think, wouldn't be surprised if she was still trying to get up." She told Elliot putting on a smile.

Listening to the cybernetic Renamon's talk of what to do, it was clear that Maia was nowhere near the same level of survival instinct. Was it really considered instinct? That was hard to tell. Regardless, with a smartphone that could only play basic mobile games right now, there was nothing on a communication level that she could provide. Why couldn't the Digital World have cell phone service?
With everyone trying to comfort Kira, Maia kept to the side of the room. The kid didn't need that many people trying to make her feel better. Kuu seemed to feel the same at this point, remaining near Renamon instead. It wasn't like there was much else that he could do right now!
But, once Alicia seemed set on having something to do, maybe the others would start to follow suit. "Well, that's kind of cool," the blonde mumbled, watching the spirit user. Okay, it was more than kind of. But, it wasn't a good time to just be in awe at someone's ability to shift around into a bunch of different things! "Good luck finding someone," the tamer tried to encourage. It wasn't like she had any clue of who to call for in times like this. Maia had a tendency of keeping to herself in this world, and hadn't seen much in the way of authorities, even upon arrival!
Still, the girl had no idea where to go from here. "If we're exploring at all, I think it's best that we all have a buddy of some sort, to keep an eye on one another." Not being big on trying to take the lead, Maia sounded rather quiet about her suggestion. "Like you said," eyes shifted to the cyborg-Digimon, "we don't know the stability of the building. If someone gets hurt, and nobody else is there, it could be bad." Then, there was a pause, as she examined the entire group. "Unless we're all exploring the same rooms together." Of course, that felt like the safest option, but who knew how crowded some of these rooms could get?

Eva just blinked a couple of times as the other digimon began to morph itself. What the bloody hell was that? It could be considered a terrible idea though, given the way radios work. Plus, it means this person's out in the elements, rather than inside in the relative warm.
"That radio tower thing isn't a good idea. Have you ever heard of RF burn? Radio frequency burn. Just touching the antenna with a powerful enough signal going through it is going to cause a nasty radiation burn. And we're going to -need- a powerful signal to get enough range. Maybe if you could get the antenna up there without touching it? Also, get back inside before you bloody freeze, we haven't got a radio yet."
She stopped to think things through, a powerful signal, would need a powerful generator. As well as a transmitter and receiver set. This was seeming to be more and more of an impossible task, but saying this would be a massive blow to morale at this point.
"Ok, we need a transmitter of some sorts, at least 400 watts to get through this weather, an antenna, some copper wiring would do for that if there isn't a long enough built in one, and a power supply capable of powering it all. As for exploring, this building isn't that large, as long as we're all in range to shout to eachother, we're good, just make sure to keep an eye on everyone, and keep an eye on your surroundings as much as possible. I'm not moving so well right now, so, I guess I'll start with this room, and keep an eye on Renamon to make sure she doesn't take a turn for the worse. Everyone else, fan out, stay alert, stay alive."

Elliot smiled back at Kira. He was really worried there when she started on the "if I was hurt instead she'd be okay" train of thought, but it seemed she had ended up with a much more positive frame of thought than he had feared. "Heh. She sounds a lot like my big bro," he pointed out. "I know if he was the one who got hurt, he'd writhing on that couch trying to get back up. 'I gotta help my brother! Oh no, Maia, don't lift a finger. Let me do everything for you!' He's always trying his best for us, even when it means he's running himself ragged.
So, don't worry. I'm not gonna worry, 'cause just like Isaac I know Renamon's got everything out of control. We just gotta give her some time, that's all."
Of course, by the time he was done talking to Kira, Alicia had completely folded herself into a radio tower. Immediately Elliot ducked outside, marveling at what had happened. "Holy crap, Alicia! How the heck did you do that?" he asked, excitedly looking at the her new form. He knew Mercurialdramon was flexible, but like that? It probably took a lot of tight focus to control all of the moving parts, so he quickly shut himself up to avoid distracting her any. If he did, this whole thing could literally fall apart. He instead resolved himself to find a pillow and make sure she could rest after expending all of this effort.
Eva sounded a lot less impressed with Alicia's idea. In fact, she was outright dismissive of it, acting as if Alicia did the plan without any proper planning first. It reminded Elliot of, well, how Eva had always addressed the group. Even when her plans weren't so hot either, like waiting around inside of the freezing cold guts of a dead train. The way she was treating him and his friends was really starting to get on his nerves. He sighed slightly, telling Eva "Alicia works with machines for a living. Do you really think she'd just do something like this without understanding how it works?" he asked, his tone patient yet tired. "I don't know a lot about how Mercurialdramon works, but Alicia's been testing that form's limits all the time. I trust her to know what she's doing here.
Once his point was made, he turned back to the important matter at hand. "Alright. Exploration. If you cover this room, I'll try and fan out to the right side of the house. Maia, mind taking the left? Or would you prefer we stick together?"

Alicia would generally like to think she’s a patient woman. Really, she does. It generally takes a lot to set her off, the only exceptions being when her own life or the life of close friends or family are in danger. But even she loses her temper after a long enough time in the presence of certain personality types. So far, she’d managed to keep a lid on it since she would rather not introduce friends like Maia, or little ones like Kira, to the depths of her anger when she finally decides enough is enough and cuts loose.
Eva’s latest bit of being horrendously mistaken, or perhaps somehow misunderstanding… pretty much everything, has finally snapped her last nerve though. Though she’d pretty much outright said ‘Hey, made working radio here, let’s call someone.’ So, she wasn’t entirely sure how Eva had missed that. Suppose that was a mystery that will never be solved. At least Elliot appreciated what she was trying to do, and Isaac probably would too if he was here. But now? The sleeping dragon’s awake again, and she was not about to go back to bed until she eviscerated someone verbally.
Forming a hand from one of her current tower-form’s legs, she lashed it out and grabbed the cyborg fox and hauled her close until the two were touching forehead to forehead and Alicia’s smoldering gaze dominated Eva’s vision. “Oi, Eva, right? How about you just shut up and listen for one second, because if we’re going to get out of this mess alive, there’s a few things that need to change. Right. Now.” The Mercurialdramon’s voice was low, deep, and filled with a furious growl. And that was a tone which should let her new captive realize she might have wanted to at least pick her words better. Too late now though.
“I don’t know what your problem is, and frankly at this point I don’t care either. Just because you are part machine and have all these crazy gadgets and gizmos along with a possibly a handy heads-up-display doesn’t make you absolutely the smartest person in the room. Maybe you have superiority complex or something, but for the sake of this crisis, drop it. We need to be a team, and there’s no ‘I’ in team. We’re not a bunch of brainless apes that can’t tell the floor from the ceiling, we’re all intelligent individuals with our areas of expertise. You’d do well to stop dismissing everything everyone else does as garbage that’s not worth considering because you’re supposedly smarter and thus correct.”
Taking a breath, she glared at Eva, in the hopes of further hammering the nail in that she angered the wrong Spirit Wielder today. “In fact, let me go down the list of your latest dismissal and systematically destroy it to show you just how wrong you are and how stupid you just made yourself look.” For emphasis she made a second hand and held up the first finger.
“First, Radio Frequency Burn; yes, I know what it is. I work on motor vehicles for a living and as part of my job I need to know all the ins and outs of everything that can appear on one. Surprise of surprises, radios are on almost every single one of them so I know the bits and pieces of radios and the science behind them like the back of my hand. I can’t BE burned in this form because I’m currently an amorphous usually-dragon-shaped blob of mercury with all the benefits and downsides that entails. That you couldn’t realize this after I drastically shape shifted like this is strike one on you being wrong on challenging someone on their area of expertise.”
The second finger went up. “Second, the matter of the antenna in the first place. I don’t need to haul a damn antenna up there because I shaped one on my new tower body as I was forming it. That completely removes the need for someone to risk their life climbing up to attach some rickety and rusty alternative. And again, I’m an amorphous blob of mercury, no radio frequency burn. At worst I’ll get all tingly when I get the signal running.”
Now a third. This was going to take a bit it seemed. “Next, the matter of the cold. Average arctic winters, that’s northern hemisphere if you don’t realize that by the way which is where we are right now, generally hit about negative thirty degrees Celsius. Mercury, which is what I’m made of right now, only starts freezing at about negative forty, give or take a few degrees. It’ll be a while before I would freeze, and that’s only if I was inanimate. Seeing as I’m talking to you right now, I’m clearly alive and capable of motion, which generates friction that in turn generates heat. I can stave off freezing almost indefinitely. I don’t have to worry about being in the cold.”
Alicia huffed as she reached the fourth point. “The transmitter. Like the antenna issue earlier, we don’t need one. I already morphed one up when I made this tower. You’d be surprised what you can do if you just push the limits of what you thought was possible. But never mind that, the point is we don’t need to search for any parts. I’ve got it all handled. All I need is an idea of what frequency I need to tune into to get the help we need.”
If she could glare daggers at Eva, the cyborg fox would’ve probably been deleted/destroyed/whatever by now. Sadly, that wasn’t one of her powers so Alicia had to settle for the staring contest she held Eva in. “And finally, because I’m sure you’re going to bring it up now that I’ve had the time to go over everything else, the generator. This is why you’re a terrible leader at this time. You don’t look at examples of what someone can do and think of how to apply those traits effectively. While I was building up the tower, I reached out with then-free sections of my body and scavenged what I needed to put a make shift generator together and run it off the body heat I create with friction. I have enough power churning away in a section of my tower body that will feed this whole set up so we can contact someone who can yank us out of this situation.”
She certainly delivered on her threat, effortlessly and logically breaking apart everything Eva had said just then, and even anticipating the question of the power source. Pushing the cyborg Renamon down on the floor, Alicia lifted her head and just frowned at her now, as if she were no longer worth being truly angry out. “Now. While I have the power I need to make a radio signal strong enough to suit our needs, are you going to help me narrow down where I should be looking so I don’t have to try random frequencies and hope I get lucky? Or are you going to continue to be supremacist moron you just made yourself out to be? Because it’s the latter, then I will happily toss your furry tail out and leave you to find your own way back if you’re so good at surviving the elements. At which point I will abandon this radio tower plan for something I just came up with that would probably work better anyways.”
Well… that was certainly a thing that happened today.

Kira had backed up towards Renamon since she wanted to be near her partner but did notice when people started talking, while wrapped up in her own little world she failed to notice the large giant digimon that was once Alicia that had just decided to go out the window and do something. "Wow, what's going on over the- Mphh." Kira wasn't able to finish her thought as she was grabbed by the nearby ten year old covering her ears as soon as she heard one person named Elliot say holy, despite not being around long she knew what normally came after that. She was right and then Eva had started to talk to alicia and from the first few words Renamon could tell Alicia didn't take that quite well, so she just held her paws over her ears to keep the argument from reaching the very kind and impressionable ten year old who would think either one, Eva the fox with sunglasses or the large digimon was cool and might copy them.
She also figured swearing might ensue from either side since she knew Eva had a potty mouth and she would assume someone mad would also. "Renamon, what are you doing?" Kira questioned looking at the fox who instead of laying on the couch was up covering her ears. "Just, uhh warming up your ears, don't have a hat they might be cold right M'lady?" Renamon lied.

Well, it certainly didn't seem like anyone was going to get along well, here. Before Maia could even move to distract Kira, it seemed that Renamon had already taken the initiative. That was good, at least. Instead, it left the tamer to stand, awkwardly, and watch Elliot and Alicia talk to the cyborg Digimon.
Within this time, Kuu promptly de-digivolved back into Kudamon, and bundled up into his tamer's scarf. Wide, yellow eyes watched the events go down, before leaning close to Maia's ear. "Remind me in the future that annoying Alicia too much will mean bad times," the little Digimon chirped, before nestling even further into the scarf. His nose was cold, darn it! It was almost like they were in the tundra or something!
Still, Maia nodded to her Digimon's request. She would want to remember that one, too, in the case that she had a particularly obnoxious 'teenage girl moment' or something. Just, simply, do not agitate a draconic Spirit User. A shiver slipped down the girl's spine, despite not being particularly cold, only throwing a glance toward Elliot as he gave suggestions.
It seemed, if only for a moment, Maia had lost initiative to participate. "Well, uh," she mumbled, trying to think of some way to break the tension. "I know it's cold, and some of us are pretty much strangers, so it makes sense to clash." Amber eyes searched the room for words that escaped her, but she couldn't just wander off to a different room, before knowing the outcome of the... event that was occurring. "I'll be the first to admit, I know nothing about survival, but bickering isn't going to help us." After failing to find some charismatic way to convince everyone to just be friendly, she pulled her scarf open slightly, to force Kuu out of hiding. While Maia certainly wasn't good at talking for extended periods, she knew someone who was. "Motivational speech?"
"What? Already? But, I didn't practice it with Dad yet!" The little, white and purple fox stared up at his tamer, before shaking his head, "no, no. I got this. Impromptu! I'll win awards for peace speeches!" Just keep telling yourself that, Kuu. Not that he really knew what peace was. "Ahem!"
Now, the Digimon was being loud as ever, to combat the fact that his tamer most certainly had not been. "We gotta be friends, and do fun stuff. You: cool looking yellow fox! Be nice to people and understand that we can do cool stuff too." To this, the rookie nodded, before looking to Kira's Renamon, "also, you're cool looking too, but you're not a robot. So, uh, keep up doing... that thing. Don't die and stuff." Maybe, he had gotten a bit side-tracked with that one. "Elliot! You're really good at being super happy, so keep doing that. Motivate everyone! With happiness. And, maybe find food to cook. You like cooking, I like food. And, we gotta eat sometime. Problem solved."
This motivational speech certainly didn't sound motivational at this point, but it probably was serving some sort of purpose. Such as distracting everyone from arguing. "Maia. Keep being warm. I like that," he nodded to his tamer, before eyes fell on a very grumpy Alicia. Finally, the Digimon paused, trying to think of something to say. "And, Alicia! You do you! You do the best you that you can do!" There was a quick pause again, before adding a rapid, "and-uh-please-don't-eat-me-you're-kind-of-scary-right-now," before shoving himself back inside of Maia's scarf.
Well. That was a useless speech. And, here Maia thought that Kuu might have been able to settle everyone down. Why had she even held the slightest hope that he'd have helped?

It seemed that in this staring contest, the cyborg wasn't backing down, returning the "daggers" with the cold, synthetic glare of her artificial eyes, the tiny advanced mechanics easily visible from this range, the minute adjustments of positioning, aperture, lens focus, etc.
Eva raised her left arm at the incoming push, triggering her stormshield EM barrier. The result would be a bright flash, the smell of overheating electronics and probably a painful but non lethal jolt to the person pushing. Nonetheless, with her damaged leg, she stumbled back barely maintaining her balance while the motors and artificial muscle fibre bundles in her remaining good leg whirred, trying to take the strain.
"Look. I'm sorry, okay? First, I haven't had to look after a large group of mostly kids before, especially in a survival situation! Secondly, I'm not exactly used to the ways the digital world violates the laws of bloody physics at almost every stage yet, allowing you to literally pull a damn radio and a generator out of your arse!"
She sighed.
"I wasn't born in the digital world. Or I might have been, I don't know, but my knowledge comes from the "human" world. Whether I'm someone who was captured to turn into this...
She gestured to herself and all her cybernetics.
... Or made from copied code from scratch, I'm not entirely sure, but it doesn't f*cking matter anyway, because either bloody way they tore me apart to turn me into a f*cking weapons test platform! So forgive me, if I don't bloody expect people to turn into liquid metal capable of functioning as a god damn radio! NanoWerx Industries didn't exactly cover that eventuality in the military stress testing simulations and scenarios they put me through for these cybernetics!"
She took a few deep breaths to calm herself down, eventually her expression returning to more or less neutral from its previous "apocalyptically pissed off" look.
"Once you've got that radio set up and ready to transmit, let me know. I'm not entirely sure of the frequencies used here, so, a wide band transmission will probably be our best bet. It might interfere with some nearby comms, and it's illegal under most circumstances in the "human world", except for emergencies. Which this is."

Holy crap, Alicia turned into holy crap, Alicia, as Elliot listened to Alicia practically explode on Eva. He had hoped his attempt at trying to gently nudge things away from a conflict would've worked, but instead things simply escalated from there. He had to admit, Alicia's wrath was chilling. While she was always going to be someone he trusted and looked up to, he had to admit he'd be walking on eggshells for the rest of this day at least. He shot a brief glance toward Eva, as if checking to see if she was okay when Alicia suddenly grabbed onto her. An injured Digimon really shouldn't be treated that roughly. His staring in shock was only broken by Kuu, whose kind words stole a laugh and a smile from Elliot even when he was pretty bummed over this turn of events.
Nevertheless, Eva seemed adamant in her position. And that position was clearly and solidly "I don't know." As someone who had appointed herself the leader of this operation, it was a rather powerful thing to admit. Especially while still managing to keep her chin up. Besides, Elliot couldn't imagine how much it would suck not even knowing about the place you came from. When even innate instinct failed you, a world as familiar yet strange as the Digital World became twice as unnerving. He looked to her pensively, before slowly and hesitantly starting to speak.
"It's okay."
He hesitantly cleared his throat, as if still fumbling around with finding the right words. "Things are a lot different here. We all had to learn that the hard way. Sometimes, the scary way. I was thrown in a river of trash, fell into a river, and had to save my big bro from an angry mutant tank. That was not how I'd hoped to start my Tuesday at all. But I had to learn this world on the fly. So did everyone else here, I think. I mean, there's the time Maia and I got chased through a factory by an evil teddy bear. Or the time Alicia and I were attacked by a really pissed off teacher that wanted her spirits. And back then we were all lost and scared.
We're here to help, okay? I know you're really smart, but you're also hurt, and you don't seem like you've been here as much as we have. We don't want to be looked after, we just want to help cooperate with you. So please, let us help you, just like you've been helping us. If we just all cool down and keep our heads together, we'll all have the tools it takes to get out of here okay.
Alicia, could you try looking for the Trailmon's signal? If its radio is still functioning, maybe we can ask it for a hand in calling the other Trailmon. Or at the very least send word to other survivors in the area."
With that said and done he hobbled back over to Maia and Kuu, smiling warmly at the fox. "Thank you, Kuu. I really needed that," he said, giving him a gentle boop on the nose with his finger.

Alicia huffed and ‘leaned’ her head back as the cyborg discharged an electrical jolt with a wrecked and faulty piece of equipment, shaking her arm out. The shock would’ve indeed been quite painful had she been in any other form, but her current form left the electricity racing all over her body without much actual pain done to her, more of a weird tingle then anything else. With a thought, she stabbed a quick tendril of her mercurial body into the ground outside, running the charge into the earth to dissipate so it wouldn’t be a problem in case anyone else then touched her.
At the very least Kuu was ever the loveable dope. Still she caught the rapid request and smirking, jokingly making a snap of her jaws in the little fox’s direction. “Ha! You’re too fun to want to eat Kuu, don’t worry about that.” Never mind the fact that the Kudamon had to little scroll capsule thing on the end of his tail. There was no way that would go down well if anyone ever considered eating him.
Now back to the matter at hand, at which Alicia sighed to herself. “Okay. Eva? Just going to say this now, you’re mistaken. Yes, most of us here are younger then the usual people who get caught in this kind of mess. But aside from maybe little Kira, who I suspect might not have been to the Digital World often, we’ve all already been through life or death situations. Whether it be in a fight, a disaster like this, or being back stabbed by someone…” she paused for a bit at that last point, shaking her head. That was an incident that would never happen again… She was glad she didn’t develop hydrophobia from the mess too. “Regardless of the reason, those of us who’re young could hardly be called ‘children’. We know what we’re doing for the most part. Spirit Users especially need to get their act together since they don’t have a partner Digimon to rely on. So while the specifics of what to do may not be known immediately, they’re certainly not helpless sheep that need herding.”
Shaking her head, Alicia decided not to address the fact that she more or less told Eva she’d pulled together a full radio and generator set up. She’d blown up in the cyber fox’s face once already, no need to fuel another similar response from Eva. Instead she just wordlessly fired up the generator so she could start up her signal. “Right, I’ll see what I can do on getting some contact.” Humming to herself, she looked out as she turned her focus inward. This was a really complex thing, running this whole impromptu radio station.
Well, time to get a wide band up and see who she can find, though Elliot brought up another good point. The Trailmon’s likely were all interconnected with their radios. If she could get into their network it’d probably be a faster vector for getting help. Clearing her throat, she tried to get her message out. “Hello? Can anyone here me? Sorry to interrupt anyone but this is quite a serious situation. There was a terrible Trailmon accident and we’re in need of assistance getting to safety.”
… Well what should she have said? At least this way she was getting right to the point of the issue. Now that she thought of it though, Isaac might be near the poor crashed Trailmon and they could get back into contact with him that way. With any luck her search attempts for the Trailmon radio network would work out as well as the wide band transmission. Actually if Isaac was there and picked up, she’d have a direct link, wouldn’t she…
