As Omega became more acclimated to the Digital World he began to travel more. At first he really only stayed in the core, but right now he decided it would be cool to visit the tropics.
"So why are we here again?" Wisk asked.
"We're exploring this new world; well new to me anyways. I want to see all that it offers."
He stopped for a moment and stopped breathing. He could hear the scurrying of small digimon across the forest floor. The sunlight sparkled through the canopy; a leave dripped off some earlier rain. The forest was truly beautiful and full of life.
"So when are we goin' home to get some grub."
"Well if you're gonna be so insistent about it, then we'll come back tommorow."
"Wait... where's the path?"

It was true, they were lost in the middle of this hostile jungle. Somehow during their trek Omega had lost the marked path they had made. As Wisk ran looking around for the path screaming, Omega sat down with his bag. He had slightly prepared for this and had brought about 3 days of food. And by three days I mean one sammich per day.
He knew he was going to have to console Wisk through this time, but he knew she would be ok. She was built for the wilds of the Digital World, right?
As he stared at Wisk in her ultimate panic, he couldn't help but laugh. A monster was panic over being lost in a jungle. It's kind of ironic.
He couldn't help but feel something was watching them though, something with not the best intentions.

The first night had been uneventful. They played music, ate their day sammich, and slept. It was simple, and uneventful.
As Omega awoke in the morning, he could see Wisk blasting at a tree, trying to knock it down.
"Wisk *yawns*. What're you doing?" She turned around with a strange look in her eyes.
"I'm toughening up. No telling how long we'll be here. I may need to digivolve."
Digivolve? He hadn't heard that term before. Maybe that was what happened to Wisk after she was born. She changed once, but she can change more?
"You sure do look confused. Come here let me explain."
After a long and arduous conversation about Digivolution, Omega was ready to leave their camp. Theyy needed to find their way out. After all, there were only two sammiches left.

As Omega awoke on the third day, he knew something was up. The forest was silent, and Wisk was curled up near him. Now, needless to say, he was worried. She was abnormally tired, and he could see eyes peering from the grass. What was that thing?
Before he realized it, an Algomon jumped out of the grass. Omega was shocked as a man-like beast with ivy tendrils stood before him. Before he could say a word it began to speak loudly.
"I AM ALGOMON, ONE OF THE NUMEROUS PROTECTORS OF CIPHER JUNGLE. WHY DO YOU ENCROACH WHERE YOU ARE NOT WELCOME, FOR THIS AMOUNT OF TIME?"
He couldn't believe it. This giant beast stood before he and his sleeping partner.
"I'm awfully sorry Algomon, please don't hurt us. We became lost here after we came to train. Today is the last day we can be here, but we don't know the way out. We will leave if you can take us to the exit." The look on the vine-man's face settled down. He could tell he had only seemed intimidating to attempt to scare him into submission.
"Well, at least you are not here to hurt the forest," he said. He had a very please look in his eyes, almost as if he was glad a friendly person was here.
Algomon held out his hand to Omega. They both understood one another. He grabbed up Wisk and the supplies and climbed onto his shoulder.
With a new friend and a lot of memories, Omega left the forest.
"Uhhhh... how long was I out?"
