Going to the north was a nice thing... He never remembered if he ever gone here before other than since trying to fix the village from back then. Now is that Mojyamon alright he wonder? Well, that doesn't matter. Anyway, what matter is the fact that they're going to go here to... well, get down to the business. Koharu did almost die in here...it's because of something dreadful inside here too. However, what concern him more is the fact that...
Trill
His Digivice is giving signal to go this way. Which mean... there's probably an armor here somewhere. Armor... his meeting with his two armor wasn't the best so to say. It was horrible if he can be honest. However, here, one of the two... one of the two sides of his crest that he's always so afraid to face is here. At that time, he's pretty sure that he's going to enter Super Ultimate to face them again.
Have you found about your true justice?
Those words always plays in his mind. Many who seek justice fell to their personal opinion of one. He's no different. On that topic, those who have crest of justice however, he believed that those people are the very opinionated one. One that inadvertently would shove down their belief to people's throat if they goes against their vision of justice.
...it's such a strange crest.
"...How are you faring, mates?"

Marshal wasn't really looking forward to going back to Terabyte Mountain. The last time he and Coronamon had gone there, they had gotten trapped in the mountain by a pack of Mojyamon. Of course, this time they were much stronger. Unfortunately, it was super cold, so Marshal decided to do something to fix that. Smirking, he grabbed the blue card out of his pocket and swiped it. "Digi-Modify! Matrix Digivolution, activate!""Coronamon Matrix Digivolve to...Flaremon!"Flaremon hulked over everyone else, his natural heat radiating over the group and keeping them warmer. It also was probably a good idea to have him in a higher form just in case their targets appeared. Flaremon looked down at Bellamy and winked, flipping his long hair a bit and flexing for his new significant other.

Colin was quite enjoying his time on Ilbert the GranLocomon. He truly was like a mobile base with many practical tools for those on board, as well as the luxuries. His partner Luke felt the same, but Bellamy felt like he'd enjoy it better after a nice glass of wine to celebrate once they got back.
As much as the Impmon enjoyed certain substances, he knew it was unprofessional to drink on the way to a job.
After all, it was a chance to see exactly what his new mate could do. He had sat down next to him on the train ride up here, just making smalltalk about little things, arm around him. There was no affection like the fresh type after all.
A while after their trip began, they approached the white mountains where Koharu had mentioned the black hematite mine once was. Of course, they would have to go directly here if they wanted to finish before nightfall. Soon, Ilbert stopped, and they disembarked.
"Going fine thanks" Colin said to Ryouta, noticing that he had been a little silent on the way here. However Colin was fairly well prepared. He was dressed in his warm winter clothing. Bellamy and Luke meanwhile, were not quite ready yet.
First, Marshal evolved Coronamon to Flaremon using the blue card. Bellamy whistled loudly, impressed and very interested. He liked how he wore no pants, but didn't bring mention to it, Colin was probably sick about him giggling about things like that.
"Very nice!" Bellamy called, chuckling. "Alrighty then. You showed me yours I'll show you mine, eh?"
"Jesmon christ mode, Bellamy" Luke said. But Colin otherwise smiled and got the hint. He drew his basic 'Evolution' card through the D-Arc, and at once, Bellamy began to glow as he jumped off the train.
"Impmon... Evolve!" he shouted, conjuring two matchstick wands, one in either hand. He twirled around once, casting a spiral of flames around his body. The flames coalesced into clothing - a pair of fiery shorts held up with belts and harnesses, a red cape, and on top of his head, a fiery hat with goggles. Under this outfit, he still looked like an Impmon with a white face and purple fur, but by now, he was as tall as Colin.
"...Flawizarmon!" he finished, making a pose.
"Yes yes very impressive" Luke said, a little impatient for his turn. And Colin scanned the card a second time. "Elecmon... Evolve!"
And it was Luke's turn to transform, growing to a height of six feet. His legs lengthened, becoming more muscular. His tail spikes shifted to his shoulders. Leather armor covered his chest. And in his paw he held a long spear with a tesla coil near the tip. He twirled it around proficiently before posing next to his brother. "...Teslamon!"
"Sometimes" Colin said, quietly. "I think you guys watch too much anime".
"Hey at least we didn't do the title sequence this time" Bellamy joked, holstering his matchstick wands. "Anyway, we good to go?" his tail flicked with excitement.

"Ryu," Ryouta gave a signal. Quickly, he skipped several stages of evolution, turning into Slayerdramon again. Ryouta opened his D-Terminal and looked for the mine's map data. This was the one that sent by Koharu approximately ten months ago, so this might be really outdated, but... that's fine with him for now. Afterall, they need anything they can do to face these Digimon.
"...I'm going to send these to you guys too in case we'll get separated. I want you to be careful. Here, have these," Ryouta gave both of them flares. "I don't really need these, but if you use these, make sure that you guys aim it at the Groundramon, get it? If you aim those to me, I'll so smack you guys above your head."
He looked at the entrance.
"Alright, I'm giving you brief summary... So here it is: according to Koharu, there was some fad back then in Terminus, Black Hematite. Those item fetches really high price for whatever reason and there was a foreman that sent here. He soon struck something of like mother lode of something of that caliber of these mineral and then soon Groundramons are sent to help mine here... with them are some Dracomon scientists... not sure about that claim. One of the Dracomon suddenly resonates with these mineral and become Black Coredramon... apparently it's an unique one, because it's as big as a Greymon."
...From Ryu's evolution one should already know that Coredramons are significantly compared to Greymon.
"...And apparently it evolved to Groundramon just slightly smaller than Breakdramon. What's worse, the foreman's journal mentioned there are three Groundramons that are hired by the company... their fate unknown, might be eaten by that black Groundramon or probably become one like it. I guess I shouldn't tell that means there probably four of these Groundramon should I? ...well if that isn't enough... High case that we'll meet someone that's quite an asshole... He... he got a Breakdramon, but his target should be me... If we got pincered by those two... whatever the case, abandon me. I'm sure I can survive, but I really want you five to board Ilbert right away, do you get me?"

"Understood," Marshal nodded. Man, the Digital World's daily activity was actually a lot more corrupt than he originally thought. How had he and Coronamon not run into anything like this before? Marshal also wasn't sure why Ryouta had brought them along if he was going to make them run away if things got too tough. Things always got tough, and Marshal had only really had an issue with it a small handful of times.
Flaremon wasn't really paying attention, as he was marveling at Luke and Bellamy's new Champion forms! "Hey, not bad!" he smiled. "You guys are doing pretty well for yourselves, if I may say so. Diggin' the wizard costume, babe." He gave the Flawizarmon a fang-riddled grin. "And that spear is pretty cool, Luke!"

After they had finished evolving, Luke and Bellamy grinned at Flaremon's comments. "Heh heh, thanks, hotstuff~" Bellamy said, winking back at him. Colin cleared his throat. Afterward, they paid close attention to what Ryouta and Ryu were explaining. None of them wanted to be unprofessional, and all of them knew that this was some high level operation here with Perfect levels at the very least.
And then there was the fact that Ryu had warp-evolved straight to Slayerdramon that made them realize they were serious. Bellamy's lovestruck smile faded, as did Luke's grin. They approached the display to have a closer look.
Colin took the flares and nodded, keeping them in his bag. They were to use against the enemy, and especially not Ryouta, since he had heightened draconic senses from being biomerged with Ryu.
"Black hematite, huh?" Luke asked, the Teslamon scratching his head as he tried to remember more information about it. But he didn't know much of its properties other than it making very good steel.
Bellamy meanwhile found it odd that they'd send Dracomons up this far north, especially in the cold weather, but supposed he'd best not interrupt. Apparently one of the Dracomons became corrupted and ended up as a BlackGroundramon. And from there, apparently the other digging digimon vanished.
And there was even worse news. Apparently there was someone with a Breakdramon around here. "...holy crap" Luke uttered, horrified. "You can handle him though right, Ryouta?" he asked.
They nodded gravely as Ryouta told them to run if they encountered this individual. "Yeah, we understand" said Colin. Bellamy and Luke agreed. None of them were cocky enough to try and be heroes underground against a Breakdramon.
"But about the plan" Bellamy said. "Any ideas on how we can lure them out here? Or is the idea to go into the mine and combat them there?"
"And if we do fight them in the mine, what do we do about earthquakes and cave-ins?" Luke asked, concerned.

"...Oi," Ryu immediately interjected. "I get it that you wanna flirt more with your boyfriend but know the TPO Homeostasis dammit!" Even Ryu the usually kind and childish Dracomon can also grow into this menacing Slayerdramon that really meant business... and by business he means this. Seriously though just how madly in love are they? Even him and Penny is not like this!
"Anyway," Ryouta coughed "as I was saying, I have no idea. In case of Coredramon, it's a blue or a green diamante instead of hematite. That's why this is completely new to me. I was at a friend's recital when this happened... also, unrelated but this place is where Yuu and Koharu become official... he was a guy back then though. Anyway, back to the business... I think I haven't said this, but I'll say just in case. We'll attempt to lure it out with something... like food for example. I got a really nice one in Ilbert's compartment... However, this is assuming that it'll get attracted. Another problem is that half of the mine will probably changed somewhat... like... the flooring might be easily collapsible from how hollow it is underneath that."
Ryouta thought it for a bit more. "...Well, I guess we should be careful. If tricking fail, I can tell Ryu to drag them out. Anyway, about the other guy..." he hesitated for a moment, but continued "...see, he's... how to say... it's impossible for me to die from his action. it's impossible for you guys too, but... he's the type that can be a pain in the ass, especially with his point of view..."
He hesitated again, but decided to say it anyway.
"...Speaking in layman term, he's my crest quality that takes form. He's... one of the representative of my crest, and is... let's say... a copy of me. That was the reason for the Breakdramon... About cave ins... that's the problem, I guess. That's why we need to, as best as we can, avoid such thing... anyway, should we scout first or immediately lure it out anyway?"

This was a lot of information to take in at once for Marshal. Not quite getting all of it, he just nodded to make it seem like he understood. "So, Yuu used to be a boy..." he muttered, not really getting the point of what Ryouta was saying.
Flaremon grumbled to himself after being scolded by Ryu. He didn't need to be told how to do his job, but the Slayerdramon was still rather intimidating. The giant lion paid attention to what Ryouta was saying, and picked up on the whole concept rather quickly. This job was going to be difficult, and even his Ultimate form might not be enough to help out. Problem was, he wasn't sure how well he and Marshal would do if they tried to get up to Mega level again. It had only happened two times prior, and even then it was a bit rough on both of them afterwards.

Bellamy could only give a sheepish apologetic grin as Ryu told him and Flaremon to knock it off. He just kind of felt it a bit hard to wind down, especially after the night they had just had together. But of course, he would never put anyone he cared about at risk like that.
Then things got a bit complex. "Huh. I still don't know what that's about" Luke muttered at the subject of Yuu. All he knew that Colin didn't really know about it himself, just some humans preferred to be who they wanted to be. He simply left it at that.
But the plan was good, they would lure the enemy digimon out with food. "Ahh, I get it" Bellamy said, smiling. He could certainly see that working. In a desolate wasteland like this, wild digimon would certainly be enticed by food.
All were relieved at the thought that they hopefully wouldn't have to enter the mine itself. That was probably for the best, it certainly didn't seem like a safe situation for them. But for a super mega level like Ryouta and Ryu, they should be able to handle it.
Then Ryouta explained about what he meant - that he was referring to a representative of his crest. There was a pause, but Bellamy thought he knew what he meant. "So like a shadow form of yourself and Ryu?" the Flawizarmon variant asked, raising an eyebrow.
Then the question came, should they scout ahead or lure them out right away? Colin thought on this, then spoke.
"I think we should try and lure them out right away" he said. "The less they know about us, the better they'd be willing to fall for the bait. We're not fighting them down in the depths anyway, plus I have the feeling we'd fight better in the open if things go wrong than down in the depths".
Luke and Bellamy agreed with this logic, so they both nodded.

Ryouta nodded at their response. "Well, you're not wrong Bellamy, but how should I say this? Basically... hmn, let's say, what if Colin met you guys but doesn't met me in the beginning but met a really bad human instead? What if they let you guys alive but not before doing really bad things to you? The Digimental called out those possibilities and then they basically exist in this world as shadow. Now, not necessarily all of them are bad choices or ones that gonna fight with you... their goal is to impart a lesson."
"...A lesson that you failed, that is," a snarky tone answered back. From the depth of the mine came Ryouta who looked even more battle hardened than this one. Beside him is the Ryu who looked like it has seen thousand of battles, and survived all of them, albeit he has lost everything. No shred of innocence left there. That one is one that's ready to kill anytime. Seeing that, Ryu readied his blade.
"...I thought it's the other one," Ryouta muttered.
"Yo, if you don't get your armor adult first you're not going to get the armor perfect, duh? Well, that's not important. I thought we're done here? I mean, wow, look at you, you're no longer that snot nosed brat back then! One that need lot of friends to back you up? I can see these ones are probably more competent, although I liked Tatsuya more. That UFADO can just run for all I care~"
"Quit speaking about Tats and everyone else like that. Now are you giving it to me or not? I'm coming for what belongs t me."
"Eh, the usual procedure, mate... Let's dance~?"
The Ryu beside him turned into Breakdramon and immediately made a dome of gravity.

All at once, the area around Marshal seemed to get heavier. It was as if Breakdramon's presence itself was able to distort the gravity around them. Marshal struggled to stay on his feet, and grabbed his Digivice. "Alright, Flaremon!" he shouted out. "Let's show them what we can really do!"Flaremon, also struggling against the gravity, was still able to grin wildly. "Gladly!" he agreed, slowly stepping in front of the twins. "Stay back, you two!" As if on cue, Marshal's D-Arc began to shine with a brilliant light. "Flaremon Mega Digivolve to...Aldamon!"A giant tornado of fire heralded Aldamon's evolution. It quickly dispersed into embers, revealing Coronamon's strongest form to date. The flaming tornado didn't usually happen, but Aldamon figured he'd get a quick show in for Bellamy even though it probably wasn't the appropriate time. Even if he and Ryu were slightly slower due to the Gravity Field, two Megas were better than one. "Could use an assist, Marshal!" Aldamon called out. While Aldamon was busy Digivolving, Marshal had already picked out the perfect card for the situation. "Digi-Modify!" he shouted, sliding the card through the D-Arc. "Megabyte Glitchmagma, Activate!"Card Name: Megabyte Glitchmagma
Type: Environment
Rank: Silver
Duration: 3 Post(s)
Effect: Large mounds will protrude from the earth, spitting steam and spouts of red magma for three turns. All fire based moves are boosted in power. Huge mounds of steam and fire began to shoot out from the side of the mountain, clearly not meant to be there in the first place. Aldamon felt the heat from the flames, and it seemed to make him stronger. It would likely have an effect on Bellamy, too. Smirking, Aldamon thrust out his hands and shouted, "Dragon Fang Shot!" Suddenly, a giant dragon made of fire shot out from Aldamon's hands and straight towards the Breakdramon. With any luck, this could either damage the enemy or at the very least create an opening for Ryu to go in and strike.

The three of them thought on Ryouta's words. If they met Colin, and after they had bounced into Earth at the Shibuya station, had met someone like Ryouta, but had instead tricked them into a training session in the middle of the Spartan training grounds and had taught them nothing but pain and cruelty?
All of a sudden, Bellamy and Luke had felt somewhat horrified at that. They looked at Colin for his reaction on the matter.
"Well..." Colin said, hesitantly. "I... guess I felt there was something I could trust about you that day we met?" Colin said to Ryouta. But the feeling was still horrifying. That somehow he could have screwed up and ended up as the pawn of an evil human with an evil digimon partner and ended up doing their bidding, instead of learning the lessons taught to them by the benevolent Ryouta and Ryu.
Then all of a sudden, a new voice spoke. Colin gasped. A... Second Ryouta appeared. With another Ryu. Immediately Colin knew what he was talking about, as did his partners. With a lack of any better description, this must be the shadow of his friends.
They discussed their past a little. Although Colin couldn't help but wonder who this Tatsuya was. Was he Ryouta's old friend? N-no, he couldn't think about things like this. He only knew the Ryouta that he trusted, and he hoped that he would be able to continue being his friend after this.
Then all of a sudden, Breakdramon burst into existence. Colin knew that he should NOT be involved in this, so he turned back to his partners and pushed them back.
"W-wait, Colin..." Bellamy said, seeing that Marshal and Flaremon were still standing up there. He didn't want to appear weak and helpless, not in front of the digimon he had bonded with.
"No arguing!" Colin shouted. "I... I don't want you two hurt!" He had taken Ryouta's lessons seriously about the differences in power of digimon. Even if he could evolve his partners to Champion, there was nothing they could do against a conflict of Megas or even Super Megas like this.
Although he saw that Flaremon digivolved to Aldamon soon after, Bellamy didn't feel much but panic at what was happening. This hadn't been how he had pictured it at all. He wanted it to be a scene of his loved one evolving and triumphing over an opponent, not like this, not them fleeing from the battle while everything went to hell. But... sometimes, things didn't work out how people wanted them to.
As they held back and hid, the battle began. The three of them watched in terror.

The gravity, as expected, Ryouta already felt this once... but to feel it again now, he now reminded that he once again, are still inexperienced compared to whatever of this copy thing. Gritting his teeth, he tried to get up. Ryu was in worse condition. Due to his wind affinity, he's nearly on his knee from the gravity. Both the human and his Digimon gritted their teeth at their opponent, whereas they just grinned. The sudden change of field to magma made the other Ryouta slightly surprised. The flame squarely hit the Breakdramon, but...
"That's still a bit weak..."
Roar of fury came from the vortex of flame. While reddish hue start to color the Breakdramon's body, it's still not enough. Ryu, looking at this, quickly shorten the range, but...
"Slow!"
The Breakdramon immediately pushed Ryu back, his attack missed, then countered with a skill, one where his drill enlarged, aiming at Aldamon.

It took all Marshal's self control to not curse up a storm in front of Colin. How was he supposed to know this stupid Breakdramon was able to resist fire based moves? That was the strongest attack he and Aldamon probably could've mustered at that point, and it did almost nothing.
Meanwhile, Aldamon was on the recieving end of an attack, which he wasn't able to dodge in time. The drill slammed right into his armor, causing him to wince in pain and be knocked back a bit. There wasn't much Aldamon could do to retaliate, seeing as his attacks wouldn't have much of any effect on Breakdramon, so he decided to try his hand at becoming a distraction. The Demon Man lifted himself into the air with a bit of effort, and decided to take potshots at the opponent with his Atomic Inferno attack. He backed up as he did so, noticing that the farther away he got, the easier it got for him to move.
While the fight was going on, Marshal raced to be near Colin and the twins, so he could be safe away from the fight.

"No!" Bellamy cried as Aldamon was hit by the drill. "Damn it Aldamon!" the Flawizarmon wished there was more that he could do to help his loved one. "Colin... can't we do something?"
Colin thought hard. Well... did he have a card that could help maybe? Even if the cards on his D-Arc wouldn't affect Aldamon, he could still lend them to Marshal. He pulled out his cards, and all of a sudden, he noticed one was different.
"What's this card?" he asked, holding a blue one in front of him. Bellamy and Luke stared at it.
"COLIN, SCAN IT!" Bellamy shouted. "Now! That's a Matrix Evolution card! Hurry!"
Matrix evolution? Well, Colin kind of liked the sound of that. And Bellamy wanted it, so Colin would scan it right away.
"Digi Modify!" Colin shouted. "Matrix Evolution!"
He scanned the blue card. At once, Bellamy's data began to glow.
"Flawizarmon... Evolve!" The fires on his hat and matchstick wands turned from red to blue, the flames turning ghostly. Giving a grin, he removed his hat, turning around as his clothes transformed.
At once, Bellamy became more human like as he grew taller, approaching a height of over 7 feet. His fur disappeared, leaving human-like skin behind. His clothes turned into a dapper purple pinstripe suit with a long coat over his shoulders. Blond hair appeared on his head, and a three barrelled submachinegun appeared in his hands.
Turning around, Bellamy raised his new hat again, turned into a stylish black mobster hat, and put it on his head. His features, while almost human, looked more like that of an elf or a pixie. Still, he was evolved now. "...Astamon!"
And the same was done for Luke. "Teslamon... Evolve!". Luke's evolution was much less dramatic. He grew only half a foot, but the main change was his armor. Blue digizoid plate covered his lower legs, his forearms, his chest and his forehead. His spear transformed into twin blasters, one that he held in each paw. And a wheel of Tesla coils appeared on his back, humming with energy as they spun into place. His evolution complete, Luke faced forward. "...Dynammon!"
Colin stared at his partners, then smiled. "Wow guys... you're awesome!" he praised them. "But..."
"Yeah yeah, we know" Bellamy said. He wished he could fly, but the gravity effect on the battlefield was too much. "We're not attackin' Breakdramon directly... but we can contribute in other ways. Ready, Luke?"
"Yep" Luke said, raising his blasters. "Don't worry, Bellamy, I'm not letting your hotstuff die that easily!"
At once, both of them aimed their healing techniques at Aldamon. Bellamy focused his energy, clenching his fist in front of him as he focused some dark blue energy, then with a flap of his wings and a cry of "Nightingale!" a blue spirit bird soared through the air, landing on Aldamon, filling him with energy.
Luke did the same, raising his blasters in the air and with a shout of "Defib Spark!" both of them shot glowing green arks of energy that would mend Aldamon's data and help to replenish him a little from the damage he had taken from Breakdramon's drill attack.
"Now go get him, babe!" Bellamy called to Aldamon.
