Hunt in the Plains [Open]

The Liollmon hunted outside Terminus City. Hidden amongst the tall grass- tall for its size anyway - the feline digimon waited, watched one of the dirt roads leading out from a side exit of the sprawling city.
She was wary of hitting a larger road quiet yet. She had heard this city was something of a hub for the Humons and their partnered Digimon to enter, coming in large metal Digimon at times. Mindful that not all rumors were true - for example that all Liollmon worked in packs - she waited patiently to see if she could square off against another Digimon that traveled the more forgotten road.
Her tail swished to and fro as she laid in the high grass, watching as the day cycle shifted towards night, just now becoming the twilight hour. She reasoned, if she waited long enough, someone would come or she'd see some indication of the frailer Humons in the night. As she waited, she pondered her leaving the Village of Beginnings, being approached by that Angemon...and what had those Piedmon called her? Ha-zard.
That was her name: Ha-zard, reasoning if the Humon's Digimon got a special name, she deserved one too. She'd have to thank the next Piedmon she met with a swift claw to the face.
Lost in her daydream combat with the zealous angel type Digimon, the huntress purred pleasantly as the hour of twilight painted the sky purples and blues. .
((Ah, first post with my approved character. Hope this ok, anyone wanting to come down a dirt road outside Terminus City or sneaking up on a clearly distracted small lion is welcome. Her intent is to fight, but... we'll see how that plays out))

Out from Terminus City a bald man with beard wandered, looking around for something. Who wonders what his thoughts was. Just outside the city, he discovered something peculiar, no it wasn't a Liollmon who had caught the man's attention, it was that this specific Liollmon lacked a holy ring on its neck and it looked like it was forcefully removed rather than out of corruption.
"That's interesting. There are opportunities here." From out of nowhere the man transformed into a regular Tsukaimon who had a thoughtful look as if he was contemplating something . He then approached the Liollmon with a worried face full of fear. Something troubled this Tsukaimon in his core and it relived him to see another Digimon not far away.

The Liollmon in question was busy imaging combat with angelic Digimon that she almost didn't register the Humon approaching, or the fact that it had devolved into a Tsukaimon. That fact took her attention back to the road rather quickly. Had a Humon returned to a rookie state Digimon? This had troubling implications to Hazard, for it meant that Humons were, in fact, stronger than Rookie level Digimon.
Hazard shook her head and lept onto the road a few steps before the newcomer. She puffed up her fur and displayed her wicked teeth for the other rookie type Digimon. She began to study her foe, waiting for the opportunity to trade some barbs or linguistic combat before actual combat began.
She hoped the Tsukaimon did not digivolve back into it's champion Humon form.

Just as Tsukaimon expected, this Liollmon was more than bent on fighting. Already now it had assumed a fighting stance to appear threatening, this was just the kind of personality Liollmon had hoped. The Tsukaimon face showed a mixture of relief and nervousness as Liollmon did her best to look fierce, he looked around the sides spotting for something when he didn't find what he searched for he seemed to calm down. "Thank Kami those evil humans didn't catch you. I have been running away from them for years now. They have these magical machines called digidevices that enslaves innocent digimon to their will. I suppose they also stole your holy ring perhaps? It was a good thing I had a human disguise so they didn't think they could capture and enslave me, without my holosuit there is no telling what they would do to me"
Tsukaimon did not appear to be about to fight, he seemed more grateful that the digmon who stood before him wasn't bonded to a human. A lot of fear and worry might have been in this poor Tsukaimon's head judging from his behavior and facial expressions those humans where definitely up to no good.

Hazard chewed on this information. She kept her stance, inching her back legs up so her body arched even more, her eyes gleaming as she took in the other digimon.
" I suppose they also stole your holy ring perhaps?" Hazard said in a mockish tone, mimicing the other Digimon to some degree before ploping her rear down with a thud, "No, I removed it. It tied me down."
She drew up a claw and lick it once or twice, eyeing the other Digimon - wasn't he also a Holy type? She really needed to work on her identifying of her fellow digimon.
"Hmm...So...Ha-ll-o-seh-ute..." She purred between licks of her claw, her eyes catching the dying light of the day cycle, gleaming, "You're not a Humon then? Escaping them? I'm not afraid, I came here to hunt them on this road...almost sliced you up for your deception."
The last part was a lie, she had completely been lost beating up imagined champion level Digimon, but no reason not try and come off in control of the situation. She studied the similar sized Digimon, noting it's wings and strange eyes.

Tsukaimon seemed relieved that Hazard was intending to fight the humans and he started to calm down. He got so calm now that he felt like he could land safely on the ground which he did. It appears that Hazard had removed her ring all by himself because it was holding her back. "I can see why you did" Tsukaimon smiled, "It is never nice to have someone holding you back. You should be free to do as you like."
Then Hazard told about how not only she wasn't afraid of humans but that she nearly had attacked him because of the disguise. That made Tsukaimon chuckle oh so friendly, then afterwards he made a coy smile looking at Hazard. "Are you sure you're up to the challenge? Hunting tamers is hardcore stuff. It is something normally reserved for the best and toughest hunters." Tsukaimon made a wink as to emphasize that rather than telling Hazard that she can't or shouldn't do it that he actually implies that this is a great test of skill and hunting. Something that would prove that she is the best hunter in the digital world.
"Very well, I guess it would be wrong for me to tie you down."

Hazard listened to the other Digimon intently, she gave soft huffs and let rear end slam into the ground with a thud. Her gleaming eyes caught the last seconds of the twilight as the two rookies sat outside the city along the lonely road. She murred and licked her displayed claws.
"Well...hmm...instead would you suggest hiding amongst them with your Ha-ll-o-seh-ute?" The Liollmon teased, her tail swishing. She hadn't lost the desire to fight the other being, but rather sought word-combat, a skill she had not developed much.
She stayed alert for any movements then asked, softer than normal, "Do you travel there in machine digimon?"

Tsukaimon laughed with Hazard about the idea of walking around in a holosuit as a human. Admittedly, he did not enjoy wearing that disguise by the end of the day. It was interesting to see excited to fight this Liollmon is. "Well Liollmon, unless you have picked a name for yourself? It's far easier to get near humans that way especially in their own realm."
Having a word combat with a fellow digimon was indeed something Tsukaimon could enjoy, having a chance to joke at the expense of humans were just icing on the cake for him. Then Hazard started to speak softly, a gesture he gladly reciprocated, also for the sake of conversation.
"Indeed, you travel with machine digimon. There is a train station within Terminus City that travels between the digital world and the humans world. Tamers use it all the time."

Hazard, for her part, listened intently. This non-Humon seemed well traveled and to hold at least some contempt or distrust of the "tamers". She swept her tail back and forth, ears still perked and eyes wary for the first sign of a Digivolution or attack.
"Hmm...I had chosen this path as it seemed less traveled; my plan was to confront the first digimon and tamer pairing I saw. From the stories I've been told, " She explained, leaving out that those tales were told at the Village of Beginnings, " Tamers produce the strongest Digimon seen since the Ancients, so...if I only fight Tamer and their digimon, I'll become stronger."
She grinned widely, displaying her abundant fangs as if she had discovered a clever loophole in not having a partner.
"I am...I..hmm, the angel digimon called me Ha-zah-arrd. So that is what I am" She nodded firmly, "Yourself?"
((Really sorry about the gap in posts. Life occurred))

Tsukaimon listened carefully to Hazard's tale, it was nice for him to hear such a motivated digmon. Though young and inexperienced Hazard seemed extremely excited over the idea that tamers and their partners produce the strongest digmon. "Fufufu, indeed tamers digimon are strong. Some humans are so powerful that their digidevice even posses the spirit of those ancient digmon. They don't even need a partner digimon as their captured spirit is enough for them to actually turn into digmon hybrids at least for a short time. In either case though, a humans greatest weakness is its absolute dependency on machines and tools. A human by itself is a rarely a challenge at all, keep this in mind should you ever feel less inclined to show good sportsmanship." He nodded upon hearing the name Hazard.
"Ha-zard? Fufufuf I like it! I don't actually have a name myself though."

Hazard grinned toothily at the non-named Digimon, enjoying the extensive knowledge the other had on the Humons- Humans? It almost shocked her to hear that Ancient Digimon had granted power unto some - these Spirit Tamers - to become "fusions", but maybe it was so Digimon like them could challenge the fusions and become stronger.
She swayed her tail back and forth, pondering as she did.
"I...a while ago heard about the Deva's and Sovereigns. I was thinking...they were no fans of the Humons, some even wanted them banished. I wonder if we could curry their favor? Still...a name helps, I think. Hmm, but I was given my name, I cannot imagine what you'd be called...hmm..hmmm," she seemed to gnaw on this concept for a time, literally.
"Ah! You are Wisend! Because you are knowledgeable and wise. And the best things in our world end with 'End'." The rookie beamed proudly.

The Liollmon was definitely on to something that name Wisend clearly suited him. The only thing he liked more than the name was the thought behind the name. It really meant something to be called 'wise' and "knowledgeable. He couldn't help but laugh with Hazard this was a great ego and totally not because it suits his ego. "Ha-ha, you know what Ha-zard? I love your guts, those holy Digimon have no idea what they're missing by not having you around. Still, I agree with you. I too feel inclined to finish what those Deva's and Sovereigns started. At the very least that will end up being a great hunt and who knows? Perhaps you can reach perfect level along the way."
