The day before was a relatively long day for not only Trey but for his twin partners Bulk and Skull. During their time doing chores around his family farm, Trey and his partners were attacked by a wild Digimon known as Goblimon and this was the first time that they had been attacked. It was the Tamer's first experience in such a situation and although they won the fight thanks to Bulk and Skull's new Rookie forms, the experience took a slight toll on the young boy. When they had first met, Skull informed Trey that not all Digimon were good like he and his brother and that some were quite dark and evil... The Digimon was just like that, dark and evil and although Trey wasn't frightened at the time and managed to keep his composure, deep down he was terrified. [5]
Both his Agumon and Gabumon knew this, they could tell even though he didn't say anything so oddly enough, it was Bulk who came up with the idea of going to the Digital World. At first Skull and Trey were confused as to why but Bulk then explained that although the Digital World can be quite dangerous, it can also be quite beautiful. The fact that this came from Bulk's mouth was a shock enough to break anyone's composure but either way, they ended up choosing to go to the Digital World today. [3]
After yesterday's experience, Trey made sure to take his Digivice with him. He accidentally left it in the car during their fight with the Goblimon and it was a bit of a hassle to get to. This time, the young boy made sure to keep it on him at all times, having placed it in the pocket of his jeans that had zippers on the pockets. He zipped the pocket up before leaving the house that morning and every so often tapped his pocket to make sure the device was still there. The only issue they had was finding a way to the Digital World. Bulk and Skull both explained that there would have to be a portal in the Human World that lead to the Digital World and vice versa as there is no other way between the worlds. This is how both Bulk and Skull came into Trey's possession but also would explain how the Goblimon got into the Human World. So, it was time to search for this portal. [8]
When they had left Trey's house, the three of them went to the local train station and boarded the next available train to Central Shibuya. It wasn't exactly their first choice, however Skull believed that their efforts would work best if they started from the center of the city and worked their way out, assuming that the portal would be in a more populated area. When they arrived, the three of them exited the train and platform and out into the open where both Digimon began sniffing the air. "What is it?" Trey asked curiously. "We are trying to smell where to find the portal." Skull replied, sniffing the air in between words. "Does the portal have a smell?" He asked, arching his eyebrow to which Bulk replied. "Of course! It smells like the Digital World." Which Trey just had to take their word for. [11]
The three of them walked around for what seemed like hours but it was only forty-five minutes and when they began approaching Shibuya River, that was when they were able to start smelling a hint of something. "I-I can smell it!" The Agumon called out to the other two were were lingering back a bit. "I think what you smell is trash and poop." Trey responded, indicating to the sewage smell coming from the river. "Actually, I can smell it too..." The Gabumon said softly, running up to his brother to stand beside him. "I think it is just poop." Trey said softly to himself, following up behind his twin Digimon. [9]
Trey held his nose tightly as if to stop any of the garbage smell from seeping into his nostrils. "Guys, its trash... If there was a portal, don't you think it would be somewhere... Nicer." Trey said, looking around and almost vomiting at the sight of a dead animal carcass washing up on the side of the river bank. "The portal has to be hidden so that humans don't go stepping into the Digital World by accident. What better place than somewhere that humans don't want to go." Bulk said, walking on ahead with his brother close behind. Although he didn't say anything, Trey had to admit that Bulk had a valid point. [7]
Just as Trey caught up to his partner Digimon who had come to an abrupt halt, Trey could see something on the side of the riverbank that looked something like a rip in fabric, only the fabric was the air. "I found it." Bulk called, though Trey and Skull had already noticed it before Bulk had decided to say it. "That's the portal?" Trey asked, curiously to which Skull simply nodded. "Let's go." The three of them climbed down the river side, making sure not to step in any soggy bits of earth and avoiding to touch any trash until they reached the portal. "So now what?" Trey asked inspecting the portal but he never got a reply. Instead, his twin Digimon decided to shove behind him which pushed him through the portal, only for them to follow after. [10]

Blinking several times for his eyes to adjust, Trey found himself somewhere that was bright than he was previously. In the Human World, it was a little overcast as if it was going to rain soon, but where he was now, it was relatively bright and his eyes were still trying to adjust. "Where are we?" He asked no one in particular. He assumed he was in the Digital World now and when his eyes finally adjusted, his mouth dropped open in awe as he took in the scenery in front of him. They were on a beach, the sand was warm and soft. The sun beamed down on them but it wasn't overly hot, it was a nice temperature and the ocean looked truly beautiful the way the sun gleamed off of its surface. [7] Bulk and Skull came through the portal after Trey and were standing behind him, blinking just as Trey did in order to have their eyes to adjust. When they did, Skull smiled to see his partner's reaction to the beach scene. "See, the Digital World isn't all bad." He stated with a smirk. Before Trey could even respond, Bulk was already running down the beach, laughing and cheering before finally diving into the water which issued the other two to only want to join in. "Last one in is a Sukamon!" Skull called back, already running ahead towards the ocean which caught Trey off guard. "H-Hey!" He said, losing his footing int he sand before finally kicking off and running after his partner Digimon. "W-What's a Sukamon!?" He called but the other two didn't answer. Skull dived into the water next but Trey cam to a halt, reaching to his pocket. "What if the Digivice gets wet?" [13] Both the Agumon and Gabumon dived under the water and swam to the edge of the beach, leaping out of the water and dragging Trey into the ocean with them. "Its waterproof." Skull called, laughing as their Tamer went head first into the ocean. The water was at perfect temperature and the waves weren't at all rough, if anything, it could be described as the best ocean scene in existence. For what seemed to be an hour, the three of them played in the ocean, diving on top of each other, splashing each other with water and even playing a game of 'Markomon and Pollomon'. [5] After a good hour of playing in the ocean, the three of them laid down on the beach in order to dry themselves off. Skull had gone around to one of the nearby bushes and hung up his fur coat, choosing to remain behind the bush due to his nakedness until his coat was dry. Trey didn't have a change of clothing but had a jacket in his backpack so he stripped down and wrapped himself with the jacket so that his clothes could try while hung up on a small tree branch. Bulk had found a nice boulder to lie on that was in the direct sunlight, perfect to dry off on. It was at this moment that a strange beeping sound could be heard from Trey's clothing. He had heard this sound earlier while they were playing in the ocean and while they were first on the beach but didn't take much notice of it. He walked over to his clothing and reached into the pocket of his jeans in which he pulled out his Digivice which was the source of the beeping. "What's going on?" He asked, looking at the device and pressing random buttons until a map screen appeared with two little blue dots blinking side by side in the distance. Bulk who was almost completely dry ran over to his partner's location and looked at the device just as Trey was. "There seems to be something nearby." He paused for a moment before his face erupted with glee. "Treasure hunt!" [12] "Should we check it out?" Trey asked, looking at his Agumon and then over to his Gabumon who was still behind the shrubs drying off. "How can you ask something like that? Of course we should check it out!" Bulk exclaimed to which his brother just rolled his eyes. "It could be dangerous. We should go prepared." Skull responded reaching up and taking hold of his fur coat. It was still damp in certain areas but good enough to wear so the naked Digimon quickly slipped it over himself before joining the other two. "Trey, maybe you should put your clothes back on too..." Skull stated and of course, Trey proceeded to put his clothes back on. At least they weren't soaking wet anymore and were only a little damp. [11] Once Trey was changed into his clothing, the three of them set out and followed the blinking dots on the Digivice. Trey kept a firm hold of it as they continued to walk, staring at the screen to make sure nothing change as the map was kind of difficult for him to read... It wasn't exactly a GPS device. They had only been walking for twenty minutes when they found themselves in a kind of tropical jungle area, the map indicated that the dots should be directly in front of them but before they could get a chance to take a decent look, a voice could be heard in the same direction. "Dammit! Move you little..." The one speaking had its back to the three of them and seemed to be trying to pull on something rather heavy. "Move - It - You - Little - GRRR!!!!" [7] "Hello?" Bulk called to the Digimon in front of them who flinched at the sound of someone speaking to it and turned to face who it was. "You are not having them, they are mine. I found them first." The Digimon growled, two distinct items, eggs, one red and one black, both with horns. Trey looked at the device in his hand confirmed that the two dots blinking were in fact the eggs. [6] The Digimon in front of them was a lot larger than they were, but both Bulk and Skull stepped forward with serious expressions on their faces. "I think you need to leave those eggs alone." Bulk stated firmly. "Just because they were there, doesn't mean you have ownership of them... Besides, you can't even pick them up." Skull stated after which only angered the Digimon who let out a tremendous roar. Slightly scared, Trey pointed his Digivice at the Digimon and shook it a few times, then pressed a few random buttons. "I thought you said this thing could give us information on other Digimon so why isn't it..." He pressed another button and a new screen appeared on the Digivice with an image of the enemy Digimon and some information that followed. "Okay so this guy is called Tuskmon, a Champion level Digimon who is a virus and a Dinosaur. His main attacks are Slamming Tusk and Horn Buster." Trey lowered the Digivice and placed it back into his pocket, only to look at his Digimon. "He seems strong, please be careful." To which his Digimon nodded and started charging in. Trey was worried about his partner Digimon as they charged into battle. He had been explained the level system of a Digimon rather roughly by Bulk during one of their conversations and from what he understood it was Fresh which was their first from out of their eggs. Then it was In-Training which was Bulk and Skull's Koromon and Tsunomon forms. They then Digivolved into their Rookie forms which was their Agumon and Gabumon forms. After Rookie it was then Champion, Ultimate and Mega. If this information was correct, that meant that this Tuskmon was one level higher than they were and was probably a lot stronger than his partner Digimon. He had faith in his partners though, but in saying that, Trey used this moment to quickly get behind some trees and watched from a safe distance. [7]
"Pepper Breath" the Agumon called, diving down and sliding underneath the Tuskmon's legs, firing a fireball out of his mouth upward that collided with the larger Digimon's stomach. "Blue Blaster!" the Gabumon called out, firing a blue stream of fire as he circles around the large Digimon's side which connected with its neck. The Tuskmon however seemed to only been affect a little, the attacks were dead on and hit their mark, but it seemed to only do a little damage. "Hahaha, those puny attacks aren't going to do much against me. Here, allow me to demonstrate real power. Slamming Tusk!" The Tuskmon pulled up and swung downward, missing Bulk who managed to slip under the Tuskmon but Skull was hit hard along with two trees that almost instantly collapsed on impact. "Ah, Skull!" Both Trey and Bulk called out in concern, but the Gabumon climbed back to its feet and shook his head as if gaining his composure. "I'm good. He is strong. Be careful!" He called back to his brother who had moved to the under tail of the large Digimon. "Buzz off." It exclaimed with distaste as a swing of the tail knocked the Agumon back into a tree with a thud. "Ouch!" Bulk called, also shaking his head in order to gain his composure. [11]
Trey was still standing among the tree when he heard something walking up behind him. He turned around to see what it was and found a rather small green Digimon with two leaves atop of its head. Trey was just about to say something when the little creature spoke. "Don't worry, I am not going to hurt you." Trey was a little taken back but for some reason believed the little Digimon, turning back to the situation at hand. "That Tuskmon is at it again. Every week he is here trying to get those Armor Digieggs to make him Digivolve and every week he fails." The little Digimon hopped along until it was by Trey's feet, looking from behind a tree. Trey had been listening to the little Digimon and arched an eyebrow. "Armor Digieggs?" The Digimon looked up at the human and then back at the scene. "They are special type of egg that when obtained by a Digimon can make them Digivolve to a different level. Not quite a Champion but stronger than a Rookie." Trey's eyes widened but continued to look at the Digimon. "Who are you and how do you know this?" To that, the little Digimon turned back and smiled. "My name is Tanemon and I have a meat farm not far from here. Those eggs have been there for as long as I can remember. No one has ever been able to pick them up but it is said that the one who picked those eggs up will unlock the Digivolution." [18]
Bulk and Skull weren't really attacking the Tuskmon straight up anymore, instead they were spending a majority of their time dodging attacks and attacking at safer moments, only managing to get a few hits in here and there. "Your partner's are not going to be able to defeat him like this..." The Tanemon stated, just before poking him in the leg with his foot. "You should try picking up those eggs..." To which Trey looked at the little plant, surprised. "M-me?" [5]

Trey continued to look at the small plant Digimon by his foot for a moment before turning his attention back to the scene in front of him. At that moment, Skull was knocked back by one of Tuskmon's feet and collided with one of the nearby trees with a thud. "Skull!" Trey called out with concern for his partner. He looked at his current situation, how his partners were fighting an enemy stronger than them while he remained behind a tree, watching in fear. "What will happen exactly when I pick up those eggs? Will it hurt..." He asked, turning his attention back down at the Tanemon beside him, only the little plant Digimon was no longer there. It was gone. [5] Trey looked back to his partners, the Gabumon who had been knocked into the tree was struggling to climb back to his feet and Bulk was still trying to avoid limbs and the tail of Tuskmon. Trey clenched his fist in order to stop himself from shaking as he thought about what exactly he was going to do. Knowing that it was really dangerous, he assumed it was the only way to save his partners, thus Trey stepped out from behind the trees and began running into the fray, everything seeming to take forever as if it was stuck in slow motion. Trey was scared, but he was willing to do this for Bulk and Skull. He didn't want to be the one always standing back and watching while his partners did all the work. Although he never had any in order to compare to, Bulk and Skull were his friends, his best friends and he wasn't going to stand back anymore. [6] As Trey ran into the battle, the eggs behind the Tuskmon began to glow, the red one a bright orange color and the black one glowed a bright blue color. Tuskmon turned and looked back to see this and growled, turning back to see the human boy running into the fray. "Don't you dare!" He called out stepping forward and taking his attention off Bulk as he went to attack Trey, opening its mouth wide in order to eat the human. Bulk saw this as a great opportunity but at the same time, he was doing it to protect his Tamer. Taking in a deep breath, flames welled up inside the Agumon's mouth before firing a single fireball "Pepper Breath!" The fireball shot through the air and just as the Tuskmon was about to close its mouth on Trey, the flame connected on the side of the large Digimon's face, forcing his head aside and missing Trey by only a few inches. [6] Trey dived down and under Tuskmon's legs, not slowing down in order to reach the eggs in the far end. Once he was standing there, he ran around so that he was now standing behind them and watching the scene in front. "Trey?" Skull asked with a pained breath, watching and still struggling to climb to his feet. Tuskmon swung around with its tail and now knocked Bulk through the air, only to hit the ground with a thud. He too turned to Trey but didn't say anything. He just watched his partner. [5] Trey looked to his partners and then looked at Tuskmon, reaching forward and taking hold of the eggs. "You guys are my best friends..." The black egg glowed brighter which caused Tuskmon to wince but only to force its thoughts and decide to start charging in. "And I am not going to stand back and let you fight this guy on your own." The red egg then glowed brighter which forced Tuskmon to take a step back. "W-whats going on?" He asked no one in particular. Both Bulk and Skull climbed to their feet after finding new strength from the glowing lights and in the distance the Tanemon's voice could be heard. "Pick the eggs up and call 'Digi-Armor Energize!'" Nodding, Trey picked both eggs up in either hand and clenched the eggs tightly. "Digi-Armor Energize!" [9] The Gabumon began glowing the same blue color that the black egg was producing where the Agumon began glowing the same orange color that red egg was producing until it engulfed them completely. When the lights finally disappeared, two Digimon now stood in the same places that the Agumon and Gabumon did, only their forms were completely changed from before. At first Trey couldn't believe his eyes and it seemed neither could the Tuskmon. "This is unacceptable!" It called in anger. "That is meant to be my power, I demand you give it back right this instant!" To which both new Digimon scoffed. "You are not in the position to be demanding anything you over sized fossil." The four legged Digimon came over to stand by Trey's side smirked. "I am Skull." To which Trey smiled happily and patted his partner Digimon's new form. "You look awesome!" He stated. "Hey, Hey!" Trey turned to see Flamedramon indicating to him. "What about me? How do I look?" Clearly jealous that Trey had not made a comment about him yet. "You look awesome to..." Trey's expression turned from a smile to a look of fear. "L-look out!!!" [12] Tuskmon, in its anger had swung its tail which collided with the Flamedramon and sent him flying and although it looked like a frightful scene, Bulk flipped at the last minute so that his feet landed on the tree he was about to crash into. "Hey!" He called, pushing off and sending himself forward directly at Tuskmon. "We were trying to have a conversation here... Fire Rocket (II)!" Bulk was engulfed in a huge flame, sending himself forward to where the sharp horn on his head pierced the larger Digimon in the side which issued a large roar of pain from the enemy Digimon. Skull turned back to Trey and nudged him. "Climb on." To which Trey did without hesitation. "Stay low and hold on!" Skull exclaimed, pushing off and running at full speed. "The three of us will take this guy down together!" [7] Bulk flipped over after striking the Tuskmon and kicked off from its back to leap into the air. Skull with Trey on his back ran around to the opposite side as sparks of electricity began to form around his body, ineffective against Trey but causing his hair to stand on end from all the static. Bulk pulled one of his arms back as a bright flame engulfed his fist. "Lets take this guy out like the extinction." Skull nodded in reply as arcs of electricity engulfed the horn on his head. "With a big bang." "FIRE ROCKET!!!" "THUNDER BLAST!!!". [5] Three fireballs shot out of the Flamedramon's fist that shot down onto the Tuskmon like bullets, while a blast of electricity shot out of the horn on the Raidramon's head, arcs of electricity reaching out in multiple directions but eventually narrowing in on Tuskmon. Both attack were dead on and struck the large Digimon in the same location, issuing a tremendous roar of pain from the Tuskmon before ultimately being deleted. The data that spread through the air evenly divided and was absorbed by both of Trey's Digimon. He climbed down off the back of Skull, Bulk coming to join them but before anyone could say anything, Trey reached forward using one arm on each to hug them. "You guys are amazing..." He said softly. [4] Trey stepped back for a moment to get a better look a this partner Digimon, but one thing was confusing him. "How did you guys Digivolve? Just because of those eggs?" He asked curiously, not completely understanding what had happened. Skull chuckled lightly end turned to his Tamer. "My form, Raidramon is a representation of the Digi-Egg of Friendship. For me as a Gabumon to Digivolve to this form, you had to show how much you cared about us, that we were not just partners, Digimon and Tamer... But Friends too." Flamedramon nodded in agreement. "I Digivolved into Flamedramon from Agumon because even though things were bad and there was a high chance that we were going to lose, you were willing to run out their into the fray with bravery, you showed your courage when it was needed the most." Trey listened to their words and nodded, glad that he was able to do something for his partners. "I guess this wont be happening again? The eggs are gone." He said, revealing his hands to be holding nothing. " Take out your Digivice." Trey reached into his pocket and took out his Digivice, pressing a single button to see an image of the Digi-Eggs on the screen. "We can use it again when needed?" Trey asked, to which is partners nodded. [11] [Sentence Count = 239]Exit Thread
