[EXTREME Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 9]
Lammon adds further details on how Katrina can get home, now that she has a digivice. He informs them of a Trailmon who's rarely seen, but its passengers are spirited away to another world. It's concluded that it could lead to the human world as he has seen humans coming back here from said Trailmon - sometimes with other digimon, too. Rina informs Lammon that she has decided to give the Trailmon a try. They make their way back to the school hut to tell Mistymon of their plan. The next day, she says her potential goodbyes and then Katrina and Lammon set off on their way back to the city and onto the special Trailmon platform. It is there where Rina and Lammon part ways with gestures of their budding friendship.
Back in the human world, Rina gets off the train, heads up an elevator to Shibuya's train station, and finds her way back to the hotel. She then recalls how many days she had been gone and is worried that her mom isn't there anymore and has gone back to Utah - which, thankfully, isn't the case. However she got the scolding of a lifetime, which Rina had no choice but to accept, as her story was to fantastical to believe....
The next day, on a flight back to Utah, seated next to her mother, Rina decided to finally go back to her laptop. She opened it, which triggered a residual effect between the watch-turned-bracelet digivice that was attached to her wrist and the laptop from when it was on/active last. Rina once again vanished into the laptop, her laptop landing onto her seat. However, this time, instead of finding herself in the limbo world like the previous time, due to now having a digivice, it allowed her to bypass it and return directly to the digital world. She found herself in Kokuwamon's old hideout, as it was the last recovery point - the place where she obtained the digivice....

[EXTREME Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 10]
Alone, Katrina wonders how to at least get back to Terminus City. With Wisemon's directions removed from her mind, she wasn't certain of which way to go. Too scared of traveling alone in this world, she remained indoors until she built up the courage to finally set out. Only then did Wisemon appear, having noticed her arrival while keeping an eye on the scrap metal pile; he chose not to intervene at first, but changed his mind once she mustered up the strength to travel alone. He transports her back to Terminus City and leaves her to her business after reminding her how to get back to the human world - since it apparently worked the first time.
Katrina considers going back to her world right now, but remembers and figures that the train will take her to Shibuya in Japan and won't return her to the plane that she was transported from. That would be a problem. Not to mention the fact that she didn't bring anything with her this time. Her bag; her phone; her wallet; everything is still on the plane back to Utah, either on the overhead or in the cargo. And what about her laptop? Will she always get sucked into the digital world every time she opens it?
.... With a sigh, she thinks about what to do. As she does, her thoughts return to Lammon. Wanting to see her again, Rina decides to travel - on her own - to Mistymon's hut.
Fortunately making it there, she re-unites with Mistymon, but Lammon had already left for the day. Katrina eventually finds Lammon at the rundown stone building she resides in and the sheep digimon wonders how Rina made it back here to the digital world. Rina informs her of everything that had happened since yesterday and they hang out for the rest of the day.

[EXTREME Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 11]
A few days have gone by. Within that time, a number of thoughts had entered the mind of the orange-haired teen. When she does go back to the human world - and eventually gets back with her mother somehow - what would happen then? Would her mom take away her laptop? Rina did vanish from right next to her on a plane, with her laptop exuding an unnatural light. Would that also mean that she wouldn't ever be able to see Lammon anymore? Then again, if Rina wanted to go home, she'd always have to return to Shibuya, wouldn't she - which would be a huge problem - and even more of a reason for her mom to keep Rina away from laptop. Would she take away the digivice, too? All of these thoughts have delayed Rina's return to her own world further. Even Lammon could guess that Rina was worrying about something.
On her fourth day back in the digital world, Rina was again trying to help Lammon train with her magic. She had no intention of taking any of her attacks, but she figured she could help with the theory part of it; two minds can be better than one, after all.

[EXTREME Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 12]
On the fifth day, Lammon insists that Rina go back to the human world. Rina thinks that Lammon doesn't want her around; Lammon clarifies that Rina shouldn't make the people who care about her worry; Rina counters that if she goes, they might not ever see each other again. Lammon doesn't respond. Rina takes that negatively and she leaves. She doesn't immediately head to Terminus City, but she goes somewhere far off in the forest to reflect. Lammon's too proud to go and find Rina to clear up the misunderstanding, so instead, she goes back to her training. She really did want Katrina to re-unite with her family. Sure, she'd miss her, but even Lammon understood how important the decision is.
Later in the day, while it was still light out, Katrina cautiously made her way to Terminus City and after some last-minute thoughts, she departed, returning to the human world - Shibuya, specifically. She had no phone to contact her parents, so that was out, the pay phones don't do long distance calls as far as Katrina assumed, and she wasn’t that fluent in Japanese to explain to passersby that she needed to use their phones for a long-distance call - though it wouldn't be likely that they'd agree to it, anyway. She considered finding an internet cafe, but she had to pay to use their computers, which she couldn't do. She was out of options....

[EXTREME Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 13]
Meanwhile, after having seen her daughter seemingly get sucked into the laptop, Katrina's mother, Amy - now at home in Utah - sits by the laptop, which has the same weird digital text scrolling across the screen. Since the day of Katrina's disappearance, Amy refused to have the laptop be closed shut, for fear of trapping her daughter within it. She refused letting the police have it and would only let tech-like people check it out as long as she could be there to ensure that no one closes the device. So far, no one has any idea what happened or how to rescue Rina from the laptop. The only reason she wasn't deemed crazy was thanks to the other witnesses who saw it happen.
Shaun, Rina's father, tries to comfort and support Amy through this devastating time, but they both quietly worry that their only daughter is forever lost to them. It has been a number of days since the event and nothing has changed.
Until now. Suddenly, the screen of scrolling text had shockingly changed back to a normal windowed screen, displaying what Rina was watching before her initial disappearance into the digital world. This caught the parents off guard and put the fear back onto the surface of their faces, unaware that this signaled Katrina's return to the human world.

[EXTREME Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 14]
Katrina was hungry, and was not willing to reduce herself to begging for food. She decides to try and find employment, remembering that in anime and manga, young teens were able to get jobs, hoping that there was some realism to it. Unfortunately, the act of obtaining a job was very difficult as she was re-establishing the language barrier that she had forgotten existed to this extent. She was - naturally - unable to acquire employment.
It was starting to get dark and she needed shelter; a place to stay. .... She wondered if it was possible to go back to the digital world voluntarily. Her wrist digivice - or watch, at one point - always glowed before she entered, whenever she was in front of her laptop. However, she didn't have her laptop, and she assumed it only worked because of the assumed virus that infected the laptop - which begged the question of why a virus would cause that. But that was a thought for another time.
Alternatively, what about the Trailmon? Does it have a schedule for going back and forth to and from the digital world, or was it like a one-way trip? After a moment of thought, Rina recalled hearing from Lammon that people with digimon were seen getting out of the Trailmon. With that in mind, her objective was clear: return to the digital world for shelte---! ...But then it hit her.... Didn't she leave Lammon on bad terms? No way she could return to her there, right? Rina might have to stay within Mistymon's hut if he'd allow it again. But even so, the Trailmon goes to Terminus City, so she'd have to trek to the hut again from there. The thought was mentally exhausting in her current state, but the redhead knew she had no other choice.

[EXTREME Synopsis Mode (of the many posts I would have done) - Part 15]
Katrina returned to the Trailmon station and waited for a Trailmon to arrive before returning to the digital world. Once back in Terminus City, she immediately went to see Mistymon. Explaining her situation to him, she asked for shelter, which he allowed. Lucky, the shelter also came with free food from the hut cafeteria's cook, Burgamon. She was very lucky, indeed.
The next day, Rina met with Lammon, who had thought that Rina had gone home. Assuming that she didn't go, Lammon got upset over how Rina could so easily allow people to worry about her. The two argued before the situation was explained thoroughly. Now understanding what happened, Lammon could only ask what Rina would do next. Her goal was to get a job so that she could earn money for various things - among them being a phone card, clothes and hygiene accessories, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, a brush, soap, and a towel. Getting a job would be the hard part, wondering how she would even manage, but Rina was determined to make the effort, even if it means their eventual parting.
Of course, she would need to learn Japanese before she could break any real ground towards that. So until the day she becomes fluent in the language, Katrina would be calling the digital world her home - or at the very least, her home base. Lammon offers her 'home' as a permanent residence of sorts, and thus begins Katrina and Lammon's almost-everyday life together.
The true beginning....
