Being ten had a whole lot of good things about it, one of those things was the fact that most of the time people didn't expect you to do a whole lot of things that normally ten year old kids can't do such as labor that involved lifting things about twice your size. Though apparently the digital world was a little bit different when it came to that judging by the fact that a ten year old was currently doing just that, lifting something nearly twice her size and weight. Kira held on to the stick of what, for lack of a better and maybe more proper word, was a giant hammer made out of something with a really long name that Kira didn't pay any attention to, she was just told to pick it up. So she got right on that thing of the picking stuff up, she managed to move it a whole 5 centimeters or so, she wasn't really counting or looking she just had a feeling that's what it was. With her cloak gone since she got way to sweaty trying to move this thing she kept tugging at it and pulling until something gave, and she wasn't about to lose to some weird looking and sounding hammer.
Meanwhile near everywhere else Kira wasn't at right now her partner was, picking up weapon after weapon and depositing them into the proper locations so they could be taken somewhere that wasn't the middle of a field they were trying to pick up. As fast as she could go was how fast she was going, after all her lady told her to do everything she could in order to pick this place up, and that is exactly what she was going to do in order to serve her. Though she did happen to look back over at the ten year old struggling to pick up, or just drag, the literally biggest thing around here, she had to admire that kid after all she was dragging something a lot larger then her. Then again did she really have to admire or would she sometimes snicker at how frustrated Kira seemed to be getting, she had before offered help but Kira wouldn't have it, no she had to do this on her own apparently. Even if doing it on your own meant that nearly everything within a 5 mile radius would be taken care of before you got it even a little bit off the ground, yeah this was something that Kira needed to do herself.
"Come on please move, I'm sorry but you can't be here anymore you gotta go." Kira tried to reason with the hammer to get it to move, it seemed to be ignoring her as it would obviously do since it was a hammer. But by some stroke of luck or something akin to a chance Kira slowly started to pull it away from its hole in the ground, she heard it dragging and got happy at the fact that it moved. Though this was quickly dashed at the new sound of something beeping really quickly, and the echoing sound of some voice going 'oh no' as something dashed over to the two of them. "Oh that's where I left that landmine." some large sea animal type digimon came over and said picking up the hammer at the same time, the digivice said Zudomon and she assumed that hammer was his, since it had the hammer in the screen. "Um, I'm sorry sir but, why is it beeping?" Kira asked getting up, the digimon scratched his head with the dull end of his hammer. "Oh, cause it's gonna explode. But relax it ain't stronger then a MetalGreymon's torpedo, I'll be fine." But it wasn't him Kira was worried about, with a shocked expression the ten year old ran away as fast as she could grabbing her coat as she did, she couldn't see Renamon so assumed she wasn't around and hid herself in a hole and waited. She waited for quite some time but didn't hear a explosion so scared she looked out of the hole.
Zudomon seemed confused. "Hey, why didn't it explode, was it a dud? Has been a while." He walked over looking in the hole that contained the explosive device, only to see a yellow fox come out of the same hole dusting herself off. "It didn't go off because I disarmed it, and by the way if it did go off that would of ruined some of the work we've done today." Renamon points out, the Zudomon just laughed it off though. "Heh, no worries foxy lady, didn't happen so who cares?" He said before wandering off in some odd direction, Renamon simply shook her head at that type of carefree personality. Kira jumped out of the hole running over to the fox smiling. "Wow how did you do that Renamon? Oh can you defuse any bomb? Or was it just that type of bomb?" Renamon shrugged looking down the hole. "There was a user manual stuck in the side, said what wire to cut in case of 'accidental explosion' I'm no expert M'lady." Kira shrugged still smiling. "Well I think you're great Renamon, come on lets finish this up so we can get paid, I need that thingy." Kira told her forgetting what it was called and just deciding to call it the thingy for short, Renamon nodded and went back to what she was doing before, carrying weapons from the field to where they were supposed to go. Kira on the other hand managed to find some smaller weapons she could take off the field, little child like weapons that she couldn't believe were actually used to hurt some people, but one look and even she could tell it was actually quite sharp.
The rest of the day might of not have had any near explosions or visits from weird digimon that didn't care if they explode, it was pretty normal for having a whole lot of weapons being picked up by a ten year old and her fox partner. Kira held a large arm's full of weapons, nearly teetering to one side trying to balance the light but oddly shaped weapons in her small arms, worked pretty well if she did say so herself. Renamon had the same type of stack but wasn't teetering like the ten year old, her arms were like steel in place holding them up. Both deposited their weapons and told someone who could do something about it about the weapon that might accidentally go off, and apparently that's a bad thing and they got thanked for saying something about it. Kira threw her arms into the air going into a celebratory "Woo" At actually doing a good days job, for a rich kid that was a lot seeing as she never lifted a finger before, now she lifted hammers, good job her. Renamon simply smiled happy that the kid next to her was having a good time, and at the end of the day that's all Renamon really wanted for the kid.
