How to Make a Bad Day Worse (Tadashi)

Alice still despised this place, no matter how pretty it's tropical area was. She might've met one or two or three nice people, but everywhere why goes, something seems out to kill her. Was it just some force of nature, or was she seriously be secretly controlled by some god-like being behind a computer? Because if she was, she'd have more than a few words for that being, namely about how she keeps getting in worst case scenarios. Today would be no different as she walked along the beach, still trying to follow the blinking dot that seems to be moving now on her Digivice.
She kicked the sand a little as no matter how far she got, the distance only seemed to have gotten further away, when she had tried all directions. Oh how she wished she could take back that kick. As if from no where she falls over from the ground sliding from under her. She starts to get up, only to see a massive sea serpent staring her down... This really wasn't her day, or well... Lifetime. She'd obviously turn in the other direction and run, however this Digimon wasn't about to let her off that easy. It knocked her off her feet with no trouble, wrapped it's tail around her feet and helf her upside down to her face and let out a massive roar. With that, it tossed her into the ocean where it could play with it's newfound food. All Alice was capable of doing at this point was trying to swim to shore and scream for help, because... Big monster, trying to eat her, another worst case scenario.

"Baby Salamander!"A jet of fire streaks through the air from somewhere along the shore, although it's not going to be enough to do more than tickle the Seadramon. Not to mention the elemental type disadvantage. There's a human on the beach, with four Digimon around him, eyes locked on the little girl and the sea serpent. One is a tall knight with armor made from a dull black metal, numerous moving eyes set into said armor and long blades extending from the skull-like hands. Another is a little shorter, green, and highly reflective with a mirror for a face. And lipstick. The third looks like your typical RPG monster made of wood. And the fourth is some kind of tiny demon man with blazing red hair. The human nudges the little demon man with a foot, speaking just loud enough to be heard over the splashing of the girl swimming, "Wh-what did you think that was g-going to achieve?" The imp considers for a moment, before shrugging and sticking its tongue out, keeping back from the water's edge, as if afraid it might melt upon contact with the liquid. "J-just get in there a-a-and help her," "In the water? Are you nuts?!"The boy pulls out a bulky white cellphone-like device, a number of black symbols covering the plastic case. "Just r-roll with it. Flamemon, A-Arbormon, Mercurymon! Execute, Fusion Evolution!"
Three of the four Digimon suddenly sparkle and degenerate into sparkling orbs of light, sliding across the beach and merging into a single, much larger orb. It stretches out as the light slowly fades away to reveal a truly gigantic crocodile made of wood and metal. Boy, the things these kids are into these days. "Deckerdramon!"
It slides into the water without any further hastle, two missile pods on its back folding outwards to serve as buoyancy aids. It swims under the girl and rises up to float on the surface, hopefully scooping it up on its back between the two missile pods, now that they've moved out of the way. Its voice is deep and gravelly, "Are you alright, small human?"The boy and the skull-knight can only watch from the shore for now.

Alice had been kicking violently in the water, doing everything to keep the Seadramon away, if there was anything she didn't want, it was to be in the general vicinity of that thing. Her kicked soon stopped though as something came up under her and lifted her from the water. She was now too frightened to even move, with her arms and legs shaking uncontrollably at the sight of what she's on, "W-what is this!?"
If there was anything Alice hated more than the Digital World at this point, it was the average inhabitant she's seen. They've all been devastatingly larger than her and our for her head. This one was probably the same and was just making sure it's meal was all for itself. She slowly just curled up into a ball and decided to wait it out, especially since she was wet, cold, and her mouth tasted like salt water. This couldn't possibly get any worse, she was about to get eaten one way or another and had no was to get out away from big scary monsters.

Deckerdramon turns his head in the water slightly to face the shore, calling out loudly, "Your orders, my lord?". The human on the beach holds his hand out, thumb pointing downwards, which is apparently all that the metal crocodile needs to hear. The hatches on its missile pods iris open, "Crocodile Cannons!" The announcement is deafeningly loud, even over the sound of the missiles being launched. They streak through the air, peppering the Seadramon with dozens of tiny explosions until it finally collapses in the water, defeated and on the edge of reverting to a Digitama.
Deckerdramon swiftly moves back to the shore, reverting back into the three humanoid Digimon from earlier as soon as its back on dry land, and dropping Alice onto the warm sand. The boy comes running up the beach. He's about twice Alice's age, caucasian, and wearing a school uniform of some kind. He comes to a halt a few feet away and stoops down to look at her, "A-are you alright there?"

Alice covered her ears at the announcement of the Crocodile Cannons and the blast, all at once. How could something get so loud!? The obvious answer was that he was a massive crocodile boat thing, but that logic doesn't go to the little girl's head yet. The seadramon probably didn't survive that, which made her relieved, though at the same time, she was still out here, on the water. With another big monster, she heard something about a lord, which probably means it won't eat her at least. This is looking up! She isn't dying yet!
The second they reached the shore and the massive crocodile boat thing turned back to normal, she plopped onto the ground, not expecting it at all. Now instead of having a shivering child on a crocodile boat thing, there's a shivering child on a beach. She looks up at the teenager, still shivering, "I-I-I'm a-a-a-a-alive..." She was clearly incredibly cold from almost being drowned by a sea monster.

Tadashi breathes a sigh of relief. At least the beach is relatively warm, so the girl isn't likely to die of hypothermia or anything. He's not even sure you can get hypothermia here. "Stick c-close to F-Flamemon, he g-g-gives off a lot of h-heat," he indicates the little imp-like Digimon by his side.
The tall metal Digimon scoffs, "Besides the hot-air generated by his bluster, my lord?" Which earns him a sharp kick in the leg from Flamemon, of course (which he immediately regrets as he remembers that Mercurymon is made entirely of metal...). Tadashi stands back up, and gestures at the creepy knight, "Duskmon, g-go and make s-sure there aren't a-any nasty s-surprises nearby, please,". Tall, dark and creepy nods silently, before turning and starting to walk down the beach.
Tadashi offers the girl a hand, "C-come on, up you get. L-let's get a l-little further away f-from the water, hm? Th-then you can t-tell me what you're doing out h-here b-by yourself," He moves to sit a few dozen feet further inland. He can't even see the girl's partner Digimon. Maybe she's another one of those 'spirit wielders' he keeps running into. Sigh. He hopes not.

Alice crawled as fast as she could next to Flamemon, letting out a sigh of relief at the warmth. She didn't know if this was safe, but decided that if anyone was gonna kill her, she was already surrounded, so she should be fine seeing as she wasn't dead yet. Didn't change the fact that the whole experience had left her in tears of sheer terror. Alice looked at the Duskmon, and crumpled up a little, trying to hide herself with nothing. As soon as the Duskmon left, she pointed in it's general direction and asked, "Is he bad too?"
The teen guided them away from the water, thank goodness. There was probably something else out to get her there as well. As soon as they were a safe thirty feet from the water, she finally spoke up some more, "Thank you for helping me... I was following the blinky light on this." She held up her digivice, a generic Black and Pink D3, "I wanting to go to it, without wanting to go to it. It's weird. I just want out of this place but last time someone helped me out it dragged me back in..."

"D-Duskmon? Nah. He's a sweetheart," Tadashi pauses and rethinks his statement, "He's...like a kn-knight. He protects the innocent. He just l-l-looks a little scary, don't let it bother you,"
Flamemon remains close to the girl, uncharacteristically quiet as he keeps his eyes open for trouble. The other Digimon more-or-less disperse, wandering around the beach to find things to do while they let their master indulge himself with other peoples' problems again. Sigh.
"Oh! Your D-D-Digivice," Tadashi nods. He's seen a couple like that before, although never in such vivid colours. He holds out his own black and white Xros Loader covered in those odd tribal glyphs. "Mine's a little b-bigger. Hm. Well. Where's your partner D-Digimon?" Size queen.
There's a brief pause.
"Oop. Manners. Again. I'm T-Tadashi Tenkuji. You don't have to thank m-me, I enjoy helping other p-people,"

Alice nodded to Tadashi on the topic of Duskmon, maybe not everything here was out to kill her or to be aggressive. She was still terrified, obviously, though it was a bit better. She nervously said, "That's good... I think. She wished she could be braver about that, though this was all too terrifying still. She was partly dry now, which was nice.
Alice had no clue what Tadashi was talking about when he said partner. She was still alone, which was terrifying in of itself, "Partner? I... Don't have one." She never realized that the digimon with humans were considered partners. So that was interesting. She then realized she never actually introduced herself, "I'm... Alice Jones."

Tadashi snaps his fingers, "I've got it. You s-s-said you keep tumbling back into the Digital World? And y-you're following a blip on your Digivice? It's probably t-trying to lead you to your partner. Believe me, these th-th-things can be pretty insistent sometimes," He waggles his Xros Loader around for emphasis.
"If you want, we c-can come some of the way with you so you c-can try to resolve this a little. It's probably not g-going to go away until y-y-you do," Not the most consoling thing to say to a little girl, perhaps. "It'll be safer if we c-come with you for a while, though. And maybe you'll s-s-see not all Digimon are q-quite so scary,"

Alice though for a while, nodding at the logic behind it. Is it logic? Alice doesn't really know, she's just hoping it is. This world was horrendously persistent on throwing Alice in here, maybe it did make sense. Right now she would look somewhat lost, trying to wrap her head around all of this, "So... This world won't stop throwing me in until I do what it wants? That's mean... She really didn't like this at all, this only mean't she had more to deal with here.
Alice took a moment of thought to debate her odds of survival. They were much higher with a person who actually had means of defense for her. All she had was... She glanced in her duffel bag and all she saw were some pencils. So... If she went alone... She'd have to stab stuff with a pencil. Said stuff would likely annihilate her. If she had someone with a big crocodile monster with missile pods... She'd be fine, hopefully. After this deep thought, she nods to Tadashi, "Alright... Your help would be nice. Means I won't die so easily... Thank you if you do help."

"I think p-people like to use the word 'destiny'," Tadashi shrugs. He'd never really subscribed to things like that, but...then here he was with seven out of ten Legendary Warriors needed to reform the Digital World's great hero, Susanoomon again. Hm.
"Okay. Let's see if we can f-f-figure out where your partner is, hm? L-lemme see your Digivice f-for a second. I can conjure up D-DarkTrailmon to carry us part of the way so we can ride in c-comfort," And be insanely lazy. On the other hand, it beat walking for miles and miles. Again. Boy, he really needs to stop forgetting he has a magical talking train that shoots lasers and stuff.
He holds out his hand for the Digivice, so he can try to divine a location or...at least a direction.

Alice didn't like the word destiny. It meant she was gonna have to be responsible and stuff, that's not something on an eight year old's agenda. All she wanted to do was to get this thing so that this world would just leave her alone. Obviously it wasn't, everyone had a purpose here and her's was yet to be realized, though she wouldn't believe that even if it smacked her in the face. She only said, "Sure... Destiny... Wonderful..."
She quickly handed Tadashi her Digivice. Her opinion wasn't easily changed, though it was interesting to hear about another Digimon. She calmly asked, "What's a Dark Trail-thingie? Is that some sort of scary path in the woods or something?" Obviously, she had no clue what a Trailmon was, nor anything about how dumb that sounded.

Tadashi looks down at the Digivice, pondering for a few moments, "...It's underwater. L-looks like it's a little ways from here. Mm. We can probably take DarkTrailmon m-m-m-most of the way, and then let Shawjamon or Ranamon scout around underwater a little..."
He seems to mostly be talking to himself, but raises his Digivice again as Duskmon walks back towards them, "D-Duskmon, Mercurymon. Execute! Fusion Evolution!" The two combine, as they did before, but...it isn't a giant crocodile like before. It's...a tail of sorts. Sleek and black with a collection of layered red rings on each side, and green stipes. A single black carriage is attached. "DaaaarkTrailmon. All aboard,"
The doors on the carriage open. Tadashi and Flamemon board without further comment, recalling Arbormon into the Xros Loader with a flash of light. The inside of shades of black and red with comfortable leather benches and tables to sit at. Tadashi drops into one and waits for Alice. "Don't worry, it d-doesn't bite,"

Alice thought for a moment about how it said "underwater". That caused a slight massive shiver down her spine, most likely because she was almost drowned once today already. This world was definitely out to kill her, and it was just toying with it's prey now. Well, at least in her mind, there were powers well beyond her control, controlling her every action and for some reason loved making her miserable. She nodded to Tadashi and said, "Alright... I'm gonna almost drown again, aren't I?"
A few moments later, a train appeared from two of his digimon. It was quite a scary looking train and probably not safe at all. It sounded kinda funny though, that was a bit weird to say for a train. She began her slow approach of the train, unsure of if she could trust it still.
Shortly thereafter, Tadashi and Flamemon just casually board it, letting her know it won't bite. All she could muster up was, "Okay... Though this thing doesn't look safe..." With that, she climbed aboard, only to see that it was just like a normal train car inside, with leather seats and everything. She picked on and sat down.
