I took the train going anywhere. (Open)

Trains, well the Trailmons, seemed to be an important part of the Digital as they apparently served as the only method to travel between the Digital World and the human world but what Melina didn't know is that not all Trailmons went to the same part of the Digital World. It had all started out like any other ordinary day. Melina had gone to work, appeased the irrational demands of her "customers" and headed home grabbing a tent from her house. It was the weekend and that meant she had free time which for her meant a holiday! But not just any ordinary holiday! She was going to visit the Digital World! That's why she had gone home, grabbed her camping supplies and left again heading to the train station frequented by the Trailmon siblings. It was there she met up with a certain Digimon her partner Yukimi the Black Agumon."Hey Dinobutt~" Melina reached out to pet her partner's head but she reeled back pouting much to the human's amusement evidenced by her giggle.
"Why do you feel compelled to do that?" Yukimi asked as a oddly dark coloured Trailmon drove into the station to which the female human only smirked flashing a sly wink before climbing onto the train. Once Yukimi got on and Melina stowed her belongings away safely and took a seat. The train took off pulling out of the station running down the tracks until it entered into the Digital World. The train pulled into a station at the Digital World and as Melina stepped out she came face to face with the familiar site of a beach! "Damn and I didn't bring a sw-....hmn..." Taking in the site of the beach Melina smirked as she realised she did actually have a swimsuit or something that could serve as one. "Yukimi what do you think?~" Turning around to look at her partner Melina smiled but her mirth faded when she saw that Yukimi did not share her enjoyment. It was not unexpected however as as Yukimi had never exactly been one for relaxation.
"Why are we even here? Surely we have more important business to take care of? Or we could train?! Or something!" The Black Agumon did not seem to share Melina's appreciation for the beach but more importantly she did not understand the value of a holiday! Oh the poor soul! "Well that's true and in all honesty I'll admit there's plenty of important things one could do. But the question is...why? I've spent the last five days at work dealing with the irrationality of the idiotic. Plus...I don't really care much for you to Digivolve. You're cuter like this my little cuddlysaurus~" Melina giggled and began to unpack setting up her tent in the shade of the trees far away from the sand; hopefully when the tide came in, if it did, she would not find her tent washed away to see! Yukimi on the other hand merely grumbled irritably following after her tamer. Melina may not have cared for training but she was still Melina's partner at the end of the day.

In all honesty, Cion did not even know why had come here to this part of the digital world. She had never been here before, nor did the CyberSagitamon have a purpose hear. Perhaps it was to have a break from her life as a bounty hunter, or perhaps it was simply to get away from anything anyone for a while. She had experienced a lot and would continue to do so, but how she faced those experiences was still not decided. Was she a cold-blooded, apathetic mercenary that enjoyed the thrill of hunting fiendish digimons... or was she compassionate and caring?
With the latter, it was always her that got hurt in the end. But with the former, it was always them she would hurt. Honestly, inflicting pain had somthing morbidly satisfying to it, likely the innermost primitive instincts within her digital core. Not only that, but she was also paid unlike most other occupations, allowing her a carefree and enjoyable life, even if she was not much for luxury. Of course it was profitable and in return danger, but had to admit she enjoyed both aspects about it. Her life had never been this exciting... but still she started to doubt her sanity.
Her skill to approach things with a clear mind and utmost focus had dwindled, while her capeability of inflicintg pain had grown exponentially ever since she had digivolved into her Ultimate-form. And with a team of brawlers to stand in front of her and take enemies' focus, she was without a doubt a nightmare of an opponent to face. She just made it so easy for her allies, while enemies could barely move an inch due to the effects of her abilities. Seeing them wind like helpless turtoises on their backs... was a sight of utmost pleasure.
Snapping out of her thoughts, Cion exhaled heavily as she found herself at a beach's shore, staring into the eternal blue in front of her. Thankfully, it was not summer, so she did not sweat too much with her silver fur and futuristic armor. After the brutal images that had been rushing within her mind, the vulpine digimon suddenly found enjoyment in tranquil serenity. Secluded and not thinking about anything... it was still something she enjoyed. Just as she was to pull her ocarina however, she heared people who disturbed her calm.
Turning around, she spotted a human girl and likely her BlackAgumon partner having a little, verbal dispute. The CyberSagitamon heard something about... training... and work? But then the girl started to assemble her tent, hinting at the idea that she just wanted to chill. This probably explained why she was partially naked. Likely, the digimon wanted to train and more powerful, but the girl had none of that. Yeah yeah... the classic digi-destined realationship, making her chuckle. But that was none of their business, since she was free as a bird.
Stretching herself a little and showing her delightful frame in the process, Cion decided that it was probably for the best for her mental stability to find another location. One where she was truly alone and could play her ocarina for hours on end without anyone being bothered. Hence she began walking along the shore, her long, fluffy white tail and the coat around her neck swaying with a gentle breeze.

Today had for the most part started off as a normal day; he had woken up and done some business of his own; ran through some numbers and figured out his semester. Even though it was supposed to be a free day of his silvermon had actively asked that they go to the digital world to do some training. It was feeling antsy with all the things that had happened recently. One of the best ways of really getting rid of that particular feeling for them would be to follow it's suggestion. Though he didn't usually go to the digital world on weekdays unless he really felt like it or found a job on that half that required him to be there.
Thinking little of it he found himself heading from the human world to the digital fairly quickly. The transition between the two always felt seamless, like he belonged in either one. Maybe it was just something that went hand in hand with spirits? He couldn't really say that he had felt this way back when he was a tamer. His ultimate spirit had picked out a location; or at least where they would rest between the training segments. The ocean was to be their training grounds. Glancing about to ensure that there wasn't anyone when they started the man shifted from being simply just a man into something much more.
Silver fur lining every inch of it's eight foot well muscled body, the beast digimon took a moment before spreading black wings in an effort to distance itself from the beach-head. It's foes would not be found there so it's eyes simply were not turned that way. With a soft sigh it'd venture out to where the shore was a good five or six hundred feet away before diving into the water. Greeted with many a sight the spirit user looked about; curious to see what sorts of digimon there would be in a location such as this.
It'd be many an hour before the digimon would return to the shore, rather than flying however it lazily used it's wings to push itself through the water. In tow was the battered and inert form of a MegaSeadramon. While the creature it was towing was much more in pieces, the Silvermon wasn't exactly in the best shape either. Charred fur dotting it's chest and quite a few frozen icicles sticking out of it's shoulder.
Taking a seat on the massive digimon once they were done dragging it out of the water the spirit rubbed the back of it's neck wincing from the feeling of the icicles still well lodged in it's shoulder. He wasn't sure if he had actually killed it or the creature was just knocked out. Was fairly hard to tell sometimes. Glancing about the spirit user sighed when he noted a few people on the beach. Dual voices piped up, but rather than addressing anyone on the beach it more seemed interested in arguing with itself.
"Looks like we picked a bad spot."
"We? You were the one that had picked it"
"Well I wanted to fight something from the water.
"And fight something from the water we did, but why did you have to drag it out here?"
"Never tasted a Seadramon before."
"Cooking this thing would be an absolute pain."
"And?"
"It'd be a few hours of cooking at least...."
"That's fine. We need the rest."
"You need the rest, no one else does"
"Says the one that hasn't eaten all day."
".....Point taken."

Melina worked to set up her tent sticking the poles in the ground and then once that was done she stepped back to admire her handy work! It was then she would get to work setting up a deck chair a much easier affair given how she only had to unfold it! Glorious modern technology must be praised for the creation of easy carry unfold deckchairs TM. Unbeknown to Melina she was being watched by a CyberSagitamon but it did go noticed by a certain black dinosaur however Yukimi did not bother raising a stink. For now she simply watched the humanoid Digimon as she began to walk away cautious of her and with good reason. Melina may have adored the Digital World as she could get away with pretty much anything due to the lawlessness of the land but that same lawlessness applied to every other Digimon which meant they could easily unleash their wrath upon Melina which given Yukimi's low level meant she could not do much to prevent it if a "big dog" decided to pick a fight. That said she was more concerned with Melina getting herself into trouble on account of how....reckless she could be.
On the subject of larger Digimon picking fights that was when eight feet of muscle and hair pulled himself from the clear waters dragging behind the inert form of a sea serpent. At first a certain human female did not notice the third arrival to the beach but when he began to talk to himself, after plopping down on the dead Seadramon, she looked up from her tent and quirked a eyebrow cocking her hips. "Hello there! I didn't think I'd find myself with company today~." And then she laughed chuckling to herself hearing how this new arrival planned to cook the Seadramon. "You want to cook that big sea snake? Well good luck..but remember Digimon decompile into data upon death...." And as Melina said the Mega Seadramon rapidly began to break down his form collapsing as it deconstructed into floating ones and zeros. You'd think that a Digimon such as the eight foot tall fur man would know that but oh well. "Hmmm....I see that must have been a tough fight hm fur boy?" Melina looked Silvermon up and down taking in the full extent of his injuries but she wasn't really bothered. Digimon were immensely tough and healed very easily at least from Melina's perspective they were.
It was rather odd this fur covered Digimon was talking to himself but this was the Digital World so oddness was to be expected and on top of that there was the fact oddness was relative on account of normal only being normal because people believed it to be normal. Dismissing the pointlessness of those thoughts Melina would removed her shirt and trousers revealing the swimsuit like undergarments beneath; they may not have actually been a proper swimsuit but a two piece was good enough to bask in the light of the day. Melina positioned herself upon the deck chair folding one leg over the other. Her partner moved around the deck chair and positioned herself at the end of it which just so happened to put the Black Agumon between her tamer and the Silvermon. "So may I ask for your name oh furred Digimon? I am Melina Ainsworth~ Remorseless Tyrant of the Digital World~" That was an unofficial title she had just made up on the spot but it was too good a chance to miss! The advantage of the Digital World was the fact it allowed you to lead a double life! And the best part of a double life was having a badass sounding name! For Melina being a tyrant was not essentially a bad thing despite the negative connotations other people often associated with it. For her a tyrant was merely somebody that acted outside the rules and was beyond their reach which was an appealing prospect; just because something was the law or a ruler did not mean it was worth following! Especially not given the idiocy of people and the lack of intellect their general consciousness held.

So, the human girl and the BlackAgumon were not interested in any form of interaction either. Good, that saved Cion the trouble of being polite and gaining a new acquaintance she would likely never see again. Yet, just as she tried to make her leave, something peculiar occured that definetly gained her attention. A silver, humanoid digimon dragged a MegaSeadramon many times its size towards she shore, and then started talking to himself as if he had a split-personality disorder. And... what did it say about eating it?
Appalled, the CyberSagitamon's gaze shifted often between the duo and hulking savage, and despite her instincts warning her from doing so, she interferred regardless. "She's right you know, That MegaSeadramon is probably just unconcious." She supported Melina. But just as she did that, something inside her mind snapped and she looked with disgust at the big, silver digimon. "What kind of monster would even think about eating another digimon?!" She seriously asked it, unable to believe that such a feral entity even existed. There was not even point nor need for that, as both the world and civilization had more than enough to sustain everyone.
Well, at least the MegaSeadramon finally did as expected and broke down into data to be reborn. While not knowing it, she wondered if it had been a good or vile digimon. Though considering the intentions of whatever this silver digimon was, it probably was an innocent victim. This of course meant that the hulking creature she was facing from not too afar was most likely a very dangerous and malicious entity. She... had to be very careful now.
And then this girl introduced herself, giving herself the title of tyrant. This of course left Cion perplexed, wondering in what kind of bizarre nightmare she had gotten herself into. Were all of them insane, or was it her that had suddenly lost grip of reality. Considering what she had went through, it would not surprise her if she would suddenly wake up, gasping for air in the dark, dank depths of the ocean. But now now, she would simply watch and look how things play out.

Didn't expect people either.
"See this is what we get for spending too much time in the human world. Miss little things like that. But I do suppose a hello is in order."
The spirit scowled and slid off of the Mega-seadramon; the zero's and ones grabbing it's attention for a moment before it turned towards the human. Snorting softly it shook it's head, simply gesturing at it's shoulder. While the injuries weren't bad; there were certainly a lot of them.
Could of been tougher, they kept on trying to keep their distance.
"If I was them, I'd do the same. Your claws aren't exactly the friendly sort."
"Tell me what kind of claws are the "friendly sort".
"You have me there."
Pausing for a moment the spirit found a set of it's eyes sliding over to the CyberSagitamon. It'd frown just a little bit before sheepishly rubbing the back of their head. What kind of monster? Well there certainly was a few ways that the spirit could answer that; but always being quick on his feet the human half was the first to answer. Surprise lining the voice from the query the CyberSagitamon had posed.
"One that isn't very used to being anything more than a spirit I assure you. That and He isn't exactly what you would normally expect a digimon to act like. Too feral; too used to darker places. Too used to a single place."
"Monster sounds just about right though; Bit of a nasty ring to it. Can't really call me anything else."
Gingerly picking at a pair of the icicles; the spirit would test to see how much effort was required before they would come out. Snorting softly it'd toss a few of them to the side so that there was simply one or two of them left. The spirit however paused when the human introduced herself. Finding a small chuckle and wry grin spreading across it's lips the spirit crossed it's arms illiciting a small snort mixed with amusement and pain.
"Silvermon. I'm a Beast-Tier spirit."
"Much more chatty than what you'd normally expect a beast to be like."
"You try spending all your time locked in a mirror; would make you chatty too."
"I'll pass on that. Where are my manners? My name is Kan, A shopkeep of the human world; nothing so grandiose as a Tyrant of the digital world. What of you two?"
The spirit would turn it's head to each of the digimon, curiosity quite plain. One of them seemed to be higher up than the other; maybe one was a mercenary while the other was the actual partner? Or perhaps neither of them were the Human's partners and they all were simply friends? It wasn't exactly that out of place.

Melina laughed to herself. She watched, or more accurately listened, to the amusing words these two spoke..well more the furred man than the cyborg like Digimon; she just seemed plan boring! However that was when she snapped yelling about how it would take a real monster to eat a fellow Digimon which was just....well silly really; the bit about Silvermon being a monster not the bit about eating the Megaseadramon. "So he's a monster for trying to eat the only damn animal life in the entirety of the Digital World?...Uh huh. Well see there's a problem with that....survival of the fittest." Melina honestly did not give two flying fudge nuggets about the matter. Really what was the problem with eating a Digimon? There were A.The only animal life. B.They always returned to life and C.Digimon "ate" other Digimon's data all the time; it was simply the circle of life in effect. Sadly people forgot nature was a mean son of a b**tch.
Anyway it was back to the exchanging of names, the mad internal-external conversation Kan was having and basking in the sun. It was then that Kan's conversation with himself moved onto the subject of claws and how there was no such thing as a friendly claw, at least that was the impression, but that was rather amusing and caused Melina to chuckle. "So there's no such thing as friendly claws huh?..Well you know you could trim them, get a manicure and colour them. Perhaps a pretty pink?" Her lips curled into a s**t eating grin as she chuckled and reached into her bag pulling out...nail colouring. "Here I'll even colour them pink for you~" With a malicious expression that promised inhuman torture Melina rose up from the deckchair walking towards Kan. She untwisted the pot of nail colour and removed the nailbrush from it walking towards Kan. She was really going to do it! Even though Kan looked injured Melina would still do it! She found the notion of a Digimon with painted nails, well claws, amusing.
Behind Melina the Black Agumon only facepalmed staring in abstract horror before looking to Silvermon apologetically as if to say "sorry I can't control her" which was true Yukimi could not nobody could! Melina's natural personality was rather tyrannical; she wished to do whatever she wanted when she wanted and damn what the rest of the world thought! Normalcy was a lie, Justice was a falsehood. Those terms only existed because the general consciousness among humanity was that they HAD to exist and so everybody slaved away following them. That was why the Digital World, or at least part of why, had such an allure! No humans, no rules just a hopefully "real" world she could exploit for her own amusement. Melina may have sounded like she was some sort of cruel human being and a tyrannical overlord but really that was not the truth. The sad reality was Melina's desires just did not mesh well with the expectations of the rest of the world! Then again the world as dumb and so too were people plural. Yukimi could only look away in horror; she knew exactly what was coming and it wouldn't be pretty.

This... thing. Cion you not even believe something like that exist. She could not fathom what it even was, much less what vows afflicted it. It clearly suffered from some sort of dual-personality complex, but unfortunately both sides were clearly feral and vile. One half was mostly unconcerned about everything, while the other was the true beast within. A sick and confused beast she would try to stop any day, but she could sense that it was far more powerful than her, even while injured. Besides, it had vanquished a MegaSeadramon, which was far out of her league.
Well, at least it did not appear to load data, so its victims could at least be fully reborn and hopefully lead a better, peaceful life free from this bane. One day, she vowed that she would put an end to this, likely with the help of the strongest twins she knew. Luke and Bellamy, they would not even shed a drop of sweat, and would most certainly relish the chance of making the digital world a better place. Well, at least if she found a way to repay them, else they could be cocky, lazy dorks. Urgh... she hated this.
Watching it and the girl chatter fueled her hate further, although she got a better understanding of what the creature was as well. A human and a beast, combined to create a truly dreadful digimon. However, Cion was confident that in terms of being a horrid monster, the girl surpassed it with flying colors. With a venomous glare, the CyberSagitamon's golden eyes shifted to the little as she took a step towards her.
"Digimons are not animals, ignorant monkey. They surpass your species in every possible way, and so will our civilization. Modern cities are already everywhere, as is technology, and I believe in your world 'cannibalism' is a crime against 'humanity'. Same goes here, even if such an act has never occured before. And if you think I just let you spread this nonsense then you are mistaken." Cion responded, rarely having felt so much ire overcoming her. There was just something about them, especially the girl, that was so much worse than just another insane digimon that was simply after her and Owen. She was an insult to everything good and civil in both their worlds, and how fate could possibly bless her with a partner was beyond her.
She actually kind of felt pity for the BlackAgumon, who seemed to afraid to giver the girl a kick in her tushie for her behaviour. Heck, perhaps freeing him from her was actually a good deed of virtue, even if many might not recognize it as such. Gosh... this was getting oddly tense. Just a minute ago, she desired solitude, but now she wished those she could rely on were here as well. "You okay there?" She asked the BlackAgumon, trying to be mindful of the poor guy who just wanted to train.

"being a monster is much more than just actions Ms. Ainsworth. It's the thoughts before and after it."
"Don't get all philosophical on me Kan.
"All right; All right."
"No. You will not color my claws. They are for fighting, not for show. Goodbye.
The digital spirit snarled and took a step or two back. He wasn't wrong at least for this particular digimon. Seeing that smile and that the other human was moving forward; the spirit vanished in a rather bright light. Leaving the well dressed shop-keep standing there looking rather baffled. Giving a shrug he had to admit he agreed with his digital spirit; there wasn't much of a reason to have them colored in the first place.
"I suppose I have to agree with Silvermon there unfortunately."
Sighing softly the human stuffed his hands into his pockets; the other digimon spoke. He didn't even get a name from either of the digimon; it made him a little frustrated to say the least but there wasn't much you could do about it. He paused when the Cybersagitamon spoke; they didn't sound too terribly pleased. They weren't wrong when they claimed digimon weren't animals, no they were something much more. What sort of creatures could be composed majorly of data, make a journey between two worlds and interact with creatures from another? Seemed something out of science fiction but... It was certainly a reality for them. A soft frown spread across Kan's lips; he didn't like where this was going. He just came from one fight and he'd rather not get into another.
"Hmm. Things have changed recently it seems... Would be the first time I've heard that it was taboo; from the places I've gone it seemed like a common occurrence. Then again.. Been many a year in the digital world since I've been to those places..."
He didn't like the idea that what he almost had done was a crime. He liked staying in the confines of the law personally; it made it much easier to do things and stay off the radar. The last bit that the digimon said made the human ever so slightly worried. He didn't want to have to call back silvermon so soon; seeing as his mega wasn't exactly.... Keen on listening to him. The mood had changed so rapidly he wasn't exactly sure what to do. He found himself glancing between the digimon and the other human; the frown slowly deepening on his face.

Melina was having a good time. Joking and jesting as she would always do, mostly due to the fact she was messing with that bipolar Digimon, but then that grumpy loner of a Digimon opened her mouth. Even though Cion stepped towards her Melina stood her ground smiling up into the face of the golden eyed Digimon. It was really funny hearing what she had to say especially her little spiel about superiority and what not. So Digimon utterly exceed human beings in every single manner hmmmm? Perhaps perhaps but....well...there was a few, no MANY, errors with that statement. "So you exceed us in ever way huh? Yes well see there's a few things you're failing to understand. You live in a world comprised of computer data. Everything here, Digimon themselves, are created via computer programming. Sure you've got some pretty impressive sites but everything you did? We had to actually invent everything we had in the first place and find a way to make it work in accordance with the laws of our world. These laws seemingly do not apply to your world. " There was other points that Melina could have brought up but you know she didn't feel it was worth mentioning.
"However there is one thing you specifically are inferior in.....and that's humility apparently. Also Digimon are animals or more accurately your worlds equivalent of them; intelligent animals but animals none the less. Same applies to humans really. On that note I'm not a monkey; Not all primates are monkeys. Seems you're the ignorant one now huh?" Clearly this Digimon, one who arrogantly spoke of ignorance, was just as ignorant. Humans were animals at the end of the day the result of millions of years of evolution and struggle but of course Digimon didn't have to go through with that. Melina chuckled and burst out laughing as she backed away from Cion shaking her head dismissively. She realised that perhaps this Digimon had a problem with things being survival of the fittest. "Survival of the fittest also is not nonsense. It's how nature works. The most capable of surviving will. Fairness is irrelevant when it simply is." She then wheeled around to look at the know human Kan well aware he was in fact that Digimon from before. "Let me ask you. You defeated that Megaseadramon and wished to cook it because you were hungry correct? You succeeded because you were the stronger one. That's how life is." Melina would then look back towards Cion her expression serious now.
"And here's another thing. Everything we've done we've done without the advantages you have. When we die that's it. We're dead for good. We have to worry about diseases, natural disasters, death and hundreds of other threats. Until your race has had to evolve the same way we did don't you speak about superiority." Melina may have been a goof that liked to mess around but she was still highly intelligent which she had hopefully proved. "I won't deny Digimon are stronger than us in many ways but don't act like you beat us in every area." There was also that whole thing about Digimon being able to grow stronger faster with a human partner than without. It was then that Cion talked to Yukimi who...only glared at her before turning away speaking as she did so. "I'd be more okay if I did not have to listen to you insult my partner. She may not be perfect but she provides food and has educated me on things about the human world I do not understand. Not only that...but she is my partner. We stick together irregardless of the facts." That was the crux of the relationship between Melina and Yukimi. Melina was yes flawed in many ways but that was due to her unique viewpoint on life however on the other hand she was rather kind. She had no real reason to take Yukimi in and provide her with life's essentials, while also keeping her safe from those who'd do her harm, but still she had. If that wasn't proof humans had positive aspects to them then what was?
Melina sighed but smiled at her partner as she got to woke packing up her belongings. "Thanks Dinobutt. Appreciate it." Even though Melina often did take charge it's not like she forced Yukimi to go along; the dinosaur was free to make her own choices she just chose to stick with Melina for some reason. Perhaps it was the fact they were partners, perhaps it was because Yukimi was insecure, perhaps it was because fate dictated things or perhaps it was because the dinosaur wanted to on account of their friendship? At the end of the day Melina believed she should be free to do what she wanted and that belief applied to everyone else; of course that belief did not mean she felt nobody should confront you on your behaviour after all struggle was the only one one would advance. Being faced with a brick wall and having to break through it via hard work was another belief of life she believed. Eventually Melina finished packing her things up and started walking away. As she walked past Kan she would suddenly lash out gripping his chin and pulling him close almost as if she was going to kiss him however Melina did not; she held attempted to hold his lips inches away from hers as she spoke. "You're interesting. Didn't think humans turned into Digimon. Hopefully we would meet again I am very curious~" With a flirtatious wink Melina released Kan's chin and walked off making her way back towards the nearby Trailmon station. Yukimi followed after her partner nodding her head apologetically towards Kan as if on Melina's behalf.

And as quickly as the conflict had arisen, it had vanished. Hollow words void of meaning came out of the girl's mouth, petty, self-righteous and with pretended understandind. Without a focus on the bigger picture, all they contained where vile concepts of nature she clung to like a parasite to its host. They did not mean anything, nor should anyone heed them, but they were dangerous regardless. Especially those with a weak will, like the BlackAgumon, a soulless slave without even realizing it, were easily tainted by those. But before Cion could do anything about them, much less speak up against her, she took her leave.
She would not even listen, and instead simply turned her back on her and reasoning to indulge herself in her own delusions and hubris. Seldom had the CyberSagitamon seen such an abhorrent entity in her couple of lives on a couple of servers, and even then it had always been a digimon somehow corrupted. But to see a human like this, willingly and gloatingly being against everything that made her life so simple and comfortable, enraged Cion's very core. Ungratefulness was one thing, but this had been outright malice, as if she was the only one beyond the vain rules she wanted to impose on everything else.
In all honesty, if it had not been for the presence of the somewhat unknown factor that was the Silvamon, Cion would have drawn her gun and ended her immediately. It was only him, and the realization that she was unfortunately free to say whatever she thought, that made her refrain from doing so despite her fingers twitching violently. But as a bounty hunter with unfathomably powerful friends, she swore that she would be there during her first misstep and make it would be her last.
Taking in a deep breath when the insane human came out of sight, Cion dropped her firm stance and glare. Tilting her head to the male human that onced used to be a digimon, she no longer questioned anything that was occuring. Heck, perhaps there were many more human who could assume the form of a hybrid-digimon, but she did not know anything about it. Letting out a hushed sigh, she gave the young man a compasionate smile. He was different than the girl, at least he seemed that way. He was not... evil, only misguided it seemed. She liked the thought that he was still capeable of rehabilitation.
Calmly walking up to him, their gazes met with Cion hoping that he would heed her and not the girl. "I'm certain that you carry no ill will when fighting other digimons, sir. But you must also realize that you take away almost everything they were when destroying them, and I doubt you want that fate to be imposed on you one day as well by someone stronger than you." She at first tried to appeal to the human's kindness deep within, hoping to affect something that made him reconsider his disposition. But to truly affect him, she had to make him realize that there were much more attractive alternatives than mindless rampages.
"But you like fighting, and that is perfectly fine. Why not join an organization like P.R.O.F.I.T? You can live with all of civilization's comforts and get payed very well by taking on bounties on evil digimons that try to undermine progress and prosperity... just like her. They are often issued by goverments, so they are perfectly within the bounds of the law. Just saying, you could live in the lap of luxury and be admired by many civil digimons. For example, two of my best friends who can easily take out a MegaSeadramon without a second thought, live alongside a human on a massive airship-digimon, payed solely from their bounties."
Nervously grinning and scratching the back of her had, Cion hoped that the truths she spoke were simply too appealling to be ignored. However, she also had to be honest, giving the human a slightly saddened look. "And I am going to be completely honest, and please don't take this personal, I truly mean well. If you continue like this... it's your bounty that will be reaped. And I am certain this girl's will be one day as well. So please, not just for the sake for everyone else but also yourself... use your impressive power for something constructive."
The CyberSagitamon did not know what else to say. She was a graceful, vulpine digimon that still desired the world and its people to ascend to their maximum potential. She was still young, but not naive; a sophisticated female beast who knew what she wanted and often achieved it. That aura she would always show to everyone, both her dearest friends and most hated foes. Perhaps it was this confidence alone that would sway the human-digimon towards a path of good purpose.

Kan stood thoughtfully by and shook his head just slightly as Melina spoke; he had heard something like this before but it had come from a child. Was not well thought out and certainly was missing crucial points along the way. She however seemed to have it nailed down fairly well; which was earnestly surprising. Looking from Melina to the other; he felt that frown deepen once again. The digimon was not taking it well in the least bit. There was irritation and something else? He'd pause and raise his eyebrows giving a soft nod and exhalation.
"Aye; That we did."
Stronger one? They were on the same level; but kan had just gotten more lucky really during that fight. Some creatures were used to throwing their weight around so much and never struggled. So when a real battle ran it's course they were left dead on the side of the road. If anything he had done this creature a kindness; hopefully their next reincarnation would be a little more battle wary.
He certainly wasn't expecting the partner to pipe up in defense for their tamer with that whole speech but at the same time they had a point. Sighing softly the shopkeep was caught off guard by melina yet again. His hands coming up to stop the her from doing something surprising. However when she only held him a few inches away instead he found his expression turning baffled. Had she never met a spirit user before? The wink was returned with a thoughtful look and his hands slid back into his pockets. His expression turning rather deadpan after a few long moments.
"The digital world is big; but we probrably will. If the past is any inkling of the future."
He'd shake his head slowly and pause when the digimon walked up to him. He wasn't expecting the tone change, not in the least bit. He was expecting it to be a harsh reprimand mixed with veiled threats that'd send his inner demons into a frenzy. One of his hands came up and ran through his hair; icy blue eyes watching them carefully. A hint of the beast from earlier still quite visible within.
"Ill will? No. I don't carry Ill will against digimon, often more than not they don't do me harm. It's always other humans. I expect a human to do the same to me for being on the wrong side of a fight. The world's a big place, I'd be surprised if I was the strongest one in it Lord knows I've met my fair share of children with a grasp of godly power."
He'd raise his brows a little bit at the guess he liked fighting. It was a good way of blowing off steam to say the least; but the next part brought a hearty chuckle to the human. He hadn't been aware they had partook in taking bounties; this was news to him. But being part of an organization such as that....
"It's hard to join something you're already in. It's not just me that enjoys fighting, My spirits enjoy the fighting. Primarily the beast spirit you had the pleasure of meeting. The other spirits are a tad bit tamer. I'm aware of how bounties work, but I was not aware that there were currently such a rigid system in place either."
The nervousness that he felt was greeted by a quizzical look; his eyes searching the digimon's face. This one was one of those that found it hard to do things out of line in the least bit. Hard to do just about anything that wasn't clearly represented. Her statement illicited a sigh and he'd shake his head.
"Lets get something straight here; I'm not a good person. I will never be a good person; My spirits are not good digimon either. Their spirit representative is a sub section of Darkness and water. Which can tell you loads about the person that they have chosen to work with; my current strongest tier is not a nice person. He would much rather sooner rip people limb from limb than talk idly; nicely like how we are. I can't control him currently so the fact I am going so far out of my way, away from civilization should speak volumes as to how I'm trying to keep it under wraps. I know how harsh people can be, I've had people come after me before for doing foolish things. You likely have never heard of me; which is good. People forget because time moves forward. I've been doing this digital business for a little over a human decade. I can't do constructive things in half of their forms; There's no peaceful way of going about it. Two of my forms are best suited for what we are doing now; I expect my strongest spirit, once I find where he or she is. To be even worse than my mega spirit. You saw what my beast form was capable of, his blood lust is palatable. Insatiable and despicable."
He'd exhale softly and shake his head; not expecting that to come out in the least bit.
"Civilization is far better off with me being out here like this, Taking my leves out on something suited to it. If my control was better; or my spirits silent like so many other spirit users I have met I would likely already be dead. Unless you have a suggestion for better control?"
The sarcasm from the question was practically oozing out of every word. His blue eyes still rather icy, the tints of the beast from earlier long gone. His arms folded across one another and he felt himself grit his teeth.
"I am not like most humans, I am not like the children that swarm the digital world. Looking to save the world without a single problem, without losing a single person; I am looking for my place in this world. In the best way possible."

Well, at least their conversation was working better than expected. There was reason and subtlety behind this man, even if he did not admit it. There was a hint of shame and self-hatred to his core that lead him to a path of vanities and self-destruction. It was something she had witnessed already many times before, hence it was nothing new to her. Still, it was a severe affliction, and it required a unique approach to be cured for every single one affected. But how could she cure something that was not just a construct of a person's mind?
No, she had to begin from the start. According to the man's words, he had a troubled past, and even seemed to avoid the presence of others of his kind. "I am sorry to hear that. Humans here seem friendly so often, so I did not expect stories like yours... or people like her." She admitted, wishing that indeed the stories she had heard were true. But it seemed no world was perfect, not even the one from which all digital originated.
Hardly could Cion believe that the man was allowed to be a part of P.R.O.F.I.T, or any other such organization with a good reputation, mostly because of his innermost savage nature. Those who worked there had to be professional, with the ability to seperate themselves from their duty. The human, or at least the spirit within, were the opposite of that, savoring the pain inflicted upon others and the success of a victory. Or had the human perhaps changed since many years ago, and a termination was eventually inbound? It were small details that ultimately did not matter much to her.
"Things change for the better." She replied, liking that more systems were integrated into society and law to assure mutual prosperity and order. Whatever the girl was dreaming about was obviously a nightmare to her, one she would always stand against. Currently however, her own personal issues did not matter; the ones of the man did. And unfortunately, there it was again, the self-hate and submission to 'fate'. Both seemed like nonsense to the CyberSagitamon, but how could he convince him that he did not have to submit to anything?
"Well..." The vulpine digimon began, gently taking the man's right hand to reassure him that she was there. "...How could you say you ain't a good person if you work so hard not trying to submit to your... spirits. I'm sure, since you manage that, that there is a permanent solution to this issue." She tried to encourage the man by making him see that there was already a good core within him which tried to avoid as much unnecessary pain as possible. And if it were restless spirits that were haunting him, then surely there was a way to bind and release them from their banes forever. There simply had to be a way!
Continuing to listen, Cion yet again let out a quiet sigh and somewhat violently shook her head. She wanted to be gentle, but sometimes help had to be firm. "Stuff and nonsense. There is no reason for you letting your self-doubt control you." She asserted, her eyes often moving, making clear she was thinking very hard.
"Okay... right on the spot, I don't really have a suggestion. But as I said before, I know people with power who'd like to help. I already owe them a pile of debt anyway, so what's one more bill? If you just let me help you... I'd do everything I can to help you find your best possible place. And I think the good company you'd experience would help out tremendously as well. Perhaps you have a hard time controlling the spirits because you know not much else but them? If there were others in your life... well, who knows? They say 'a friend's a gift you give yourself' for a reason... I suppose."
Oh dear, this was getting pretty intense despite both of them being calm. She tried appealling to the good within, to the matter at hand that he could be kind and chatty, even with the spirits lingering. There were golden opportunities for the man to take, causes to pursue that might silence the haunting voices. And if none of that worked, perhaps knowing that there was someone out there who wanted to help him already made all the difference? One thing was clear... she would not enjoy if one day he'd be hunted...

"No matter the society, no matter the ones that are. Friendly, at the core. Nice to others, there are always opposites. The digital world has a nasty habit of only choosing the best. Not many humans that come to the digital world are like me, or like her. It tries it's best to avoid problems; but life itself is a big one."
He'd grimace a little and shake his head. He recalled a good while ago; a struggle to take down some of those high and mighty. With it ending in failure of course; along with gentle bumps along the road following it. He couldn't return home because he had been worried about dats as well at the time. They could of found out and made his life a living hell, but thankfully now they didn't seem to be around.
"Things only change for the better when-"
He'd cut himself off when the vulpine took his right hand; the icy blue eyes widening slightly from the touch. People seemed to like being touchy as of late; first meline and now this digimon. Of whom he still didn't know the name of; they might of missed his query or something but he certainly wasn't comfortable with that.
"Because a long time ago, I submitted to my spirits. I made deals with them, good deals of course but that never stays the same. Good people do not do the things I do. You ever hear of a businessman with clean hands? I haven't. Blood soaked, both of them. Figuratively and literally."
He'd snort softly; watching the digimon curiously. Self-doubt was part of the reason he was always so careful. So meticulous. So thoughtful. He made sure every step was accounted for. Or at least tried to do something along that line.
"Self doubt is like any other thought process. It's a part of us just as much as the rage, the hatred and many other things in our heads. Mine just makes sure I stay alive. Which surprisingly, me being alive is very important to me."
He'd frown slightly; her mentioning people with power to help? What kind of help would they do? Rip the spirits right out of him? Make them succumb to the same abyss that the other spirits seemed to have? The tender deals that he made might force him to stop things that might be problematic to their existence in order to keep a semblance of self. His suspicion was palatable in this next question.
"What sort of help?"
He'd close his eyes and sigh softly; shaking his head ever so slightly. Oh if only she knew the struggles he had been through before. The two years of him being attached to partners was something strange; seeming almost like a fevered dream.
"I know more than just my spirits, before the spirits there were digimon I worked with. They weren't exactly like the spirits either. But no one is the same; that's just how life is."
He'd eye her, trying of course to remain rather calm about the fact someone was touching him still. It felt odd, the fur at least. Reminded him of the course fur that gretal had. Though Gretal herself never really worried about the problems of her fur, it was too short to really get matted.
"So. Before anything else; Before I even think about saying yes. What is your name?" I'm not too privvy to accepting help from strangers I've never met before. But if you've heard enough about P.R.O.F.I.T to suggest them, I might as well trust you somewhat as a member.

Hmm, perhaps Kan had a fair point. Whatever force was responsible for choosing the destned, it obviously sought those that strofe for peace and prosperity. Was it fate, destiny, or a power beyond their comprehension, its impetus was clear. But now, where practically every human could enter the digital world, things and opinions changed. The CyberSagitamon hoped that, in the grand scheme of things, it did not affect their world too severely. She did not know much about the human world nor has she ever seen it, but she started to dread it a little.
She realized that the her touching his hand was not too pleasant for Kan, but she held it gently regardless. She would not just back away and leave because he might give her a frown. Else, she might as well not have even tried if she shied away so easily. "Well, no deal must last forever. Besides, there is always the fine print." She tried to alleviate the mood, wishing for things to ease. Whatever these spirits were, they certainly wanted something out of the human in return for their power. If they ceased wanting it, or if Kan rejected them, perhaps they would leave.
Sure, doubt was a part of life at times, but it was opposing it that made let to a worthwhile outcome. Shaking her head, she could not help herself but teasingly grin a little. "Always with the negative emotions. You know what I think? I think you have not enjoyed something in quite a long time; or at least did not allow yourself to enjoy something. With so much negativity, it's clear as day that you easily submit to feral wills. Perhaps adding some positive spice in the mix will help out, eh?" She suggested, knowing that the human was just as much at fault for his dilemma as the spirits. Accepting that would be the first step of healing.
She noted his frown, but did not think much about it. Still, she considered his question carefully, and eventually came up with a calm yet firm answer. "I suppose that depends on how the spirits can be appeased. If it is something they desire, we might be able to give it to them. If it is somewhere they want to go or witness, we could go there. If it is an epic battle of glory they want... well, Luke and Bellamy certainly can provide. Whatever the case, they sought you out for a reason, and I assume there's a desire behind it that needs to be satisfied for serenity to return to them and you."
Hopefully, that made sense to the human, who appeared to not have a good understanding about the spirits that haunted him either. All he seemed to know about them was submitting to their ferals desires, yet there was no comprehension. If she was wrong however, then she would be happy to be corrected. After all, the more she knew that better she could help!
"I know nobody's the same. That's what makes life interesting!" She pronounced the good sides of diversity. Sure, there were the occassional oddballs and fiends out there, but most beings had a good core and utilized their skills to enrich their own lives and those around them. If everybody was the same, there would be no progress, no new ideas; nothing but stagnation. And she loved progress, especially when she took part in it. That's simply how she saw things as true; after all civilization worked very well, even if it was not perfect.
Still unable to believe that Kan was actually part of P.R.O.F.I.T, she realized that he had a fair point. Letting go off his hand, she put it in front of her chest and respectuflly bowed to the man. With a warm smile, she looked at him, her ears upwards but still loose like a dog without a care in the world. "My name is Cion. Despite the events with the girl, it's a pleasure to meet you. As for P.R.O.F.I.T... I only need to sign my contract to be a member, too. I'm sure it's going to be great with Colin, Luke and Bellamy. And hey, maybe with you as well."
Reaching out her furry paw to him, she of course wished to shake hands as to establish peace and comity between them.
